(Okay noted! I love that plot! I think it would be interesting if it was Onestar was the father. For now, I think Lakeheart will try to protect her kits' dark secret so she makes up the fact that another Riverclanner is the father. Some could buy into it, but those that were close to that cat would find the story rather funny as it doesn't add up. The "father" could have either been close to Lakeheart, but not in that sense or they were not very close, but they did interact with each other to some degree. I am thinking about making Lakeheart not a very good liar so every time one of her investigators talks to her about her relationship about this tom it only causes more questions than answers to arise especially if Lakeheart decides to dodge the question in the hopes to change subject. Eventually something causes Lakeheart's lie to be found out and of course this causes outrage and for Lakeheart's reputation to be lowered.
Now this next one I am a bit unsure with this next one. It could lead to an interesting concept if it makes any sense at all. Here it is below.
At first maybe some of the cats wish to kick her out. After all if she was willing to betray the Warrior Code once what makes others think she won’t do it again? Maybe around this time she is soon going to give birth to her kits and maybe Lakeheart makes a deal with one or a few cats in order to stay. The condition is she is not allow to name her kits. As strange as this is this would hurt Lakeheart as one of the things a queen looks forward to is giving their kits a special name that identifies and welcomes them in this world. She already discussed several names with Onestar and she was planning to name them after the names they discuss. She was even thinking about naming one of her kits Onekit in secret to honor their father, but they would be referred to something else around her clan and the name her clanmates would know them as.
Now she has agreed to this condition she cannot. It is possible that out of angry the kits’ names are typically names that are consider punishment or insulting names. When the kits are born they enter a world of hostility and unacceptance. What do you think?) (I'm glad you like that! I also like your idea; that would be quite the mean thing to do, and would create quite the awful start for the four kits. I'm going to look more into possible appearances in a minute, but I do agree that the names should be derogatory. To add to all of this, perhaps in the midst of the chaos an outsider could come forward and join the Clan. He'd support Lakeheart and would be one of the few cats to treat her kits fairly and kindly, and she'd end up falling in love with him. They'd become mates, and she'd get pregnant again, this time with his kits. He leaves suddenly one night after they are born, and returns two days later with the band of rogues the Clan is dealing with right now. He reveals himself to be their elusive leader, and informs Lakeheart that their entire relationship was a sham and that he never loved her. He then lays claim to half of her kits (she can have an even number of them) because he is their father. This sparks a big conflict between the group and the Clan as they fight over who can keep the kits in the end)

(*evil laughter* I like the way you think! Yes I love this idea and would cause so much drama! I could see Lakeheart doing that because she would feel so lonely and having someone who seems to care about her and her kits would convince her that these two were meant to be together. This time he is part of the clan so she couldn't be betraying the warrior code this time right? When his true intentions are revealed Lakeheart wouldn't know what to do and she is hanging by a thread at this point. Her faith between the clan and her will be unknown, but this only causes an unpredictable turn of events. I personally don't mind what happens to her as she ended up betraying the Warrior Code a second time and cause a huge conflict as a result of it. So if she ends up being kick out then so be it.
These new set of kits would be outcasts just like her older four kits, but unlike them I don't see the father allowing the clan to call them such degrading names unless he just doesn't care. Of course he would demand half of them to join his rogue group. Lakeheart knows she doesn't want any of her kits to adopt a rogue life. She doesn't want the father betraying her own kits like he did her and crushing their souls. She wants to be their mother and allow them to grow up beside her, but at the same time she doesn't want to a huge war to break out. She even has her doubts that even if she somehow manage to keep all or half of her kits they wouldn't be any safer with the clan and she doesn't want them to grow up in the same lifestyle as her first four kits.)

(Here are my kit ideas, looking at both Onestar and Lakeheart:
Fleakit - small gray tabby tom with light brown ears Tickkit - light brown tabby tom with gray paws Deadkit - gray and light brown tabby tom Firekit - light brown she-cat with a gray tail
The first three are rather demeaning names, while Firekit is named in honor of Firestar, the one cat who Onestar truly despised)

(Those are definitely degrading names poor kits. I also love their appearances! I like the concept of Firekit. It basically takes Lakeheart's original idea of naming one of her kits after Onestar (in secret), but instead one of her kits gets name after the one cat that Onestar despised. I am not too sure how Lakeheart will feel about Firestar, but she doesn't want to name her kits after him. It does make me curious to know how the Thunderclanners will feel about this kit being named after Firestar. Regardless about how they feel about him they can't really deny that he did help change Thunderclan so I could see a bit of a dispute over changing the kit's name to something else because there is no reason to insult Thunderclan. They may even feel it is a personal attack to the fact they were more accepting to outsiders than the other clans. Maybe some of the Thunderclanners purposely call the kit something else to a name they agree she really deserves. I could see Dirtkit thanks to her brown pelt. As gross as it is they probably do feel she is a piece of dirt. Another option is they could try to insult another clan for insulting them. I imagine they would mainly attack the clan that overall had the biggest paw on naming the kit Firekit. What do you think about this?)

(I could imagine there would be some conflict, especially since some ThunderClanners, such as Spiderleg, no longer see the previous Clans as influencing them and believe that they should be memories, and just that. He sees them all as one Clan, not as four separate Clans living in one camp, but not everyone sees it that way yet)

(I just have two more questions. Who do you think the fake father should be? I can't decide, but maybe a major canon character in Riverclan as it might be easier to know how they are like? It doesn't have to be one. Since it is still early and right now it is believe that Petalfur is the only queen she will start off a warrior and later on become a queen right?)

Note: Feel free to shorten these as much as you want. Both bios are completed.
Lakeheart
Lakeheart feels that the impact that the plague has brought her is too much for words to describe. She had to watch her family, friends, and clanmates die around her and there was nothing she could do about it. As much as she tries to dismiss these thoughts she can’t help, but wonder if this is her award for the betrayal. The worst part is no one knows that she did this expect for the one cat she loved the most. Lakeheart had a forbidden romance with the former Windclan leader Onestar. There is a part of her that sometimes questions about how she managed to get a cat such as him to love her, but she guessed it was because she could see past his flaws, past his rank, and treat him like a normal cat. That he could have someone who was willing to listen and comfort him. That she was willing to go out of her way to see him despite knowing the two were not supposed to be together. To add to her grief she was not able to see Onestar in his final moments because of their clan relations. She didn't want to risk tipping anyone off about their relationship. She sometimes wonder if he was angry because she was not there, but she tries to tell him whenever she can that she truly did love him and was there in spirit. She hope that because he was a leader that his lives would be enough to save him, but she knew that not even lives could save a cat from something so terrible.
There is one thing that Onestar did leave behind that she cherishes with her very life. She became pregnant with his kits during their affair and now that the plague seems to be disappearing back into the darkness this means that her kits have a chance to live and grow up in a new life. She hopes with the fact that the clan is now united means that the kits will have a chance to experience their Windclan and Riverclan heritages equally. Of course she is aware that just because the plague took away her love ones doesn’t mean that clan traditions have fully died out. If the clan found out that these kits are half-clanners then it is possible that they will not accept them as much as she wants. In order to protect them she plans to claim that Reedwhisker is the father. The former deputy was a respectable and kind tom and seem like a good choice. For the most part their relationship was nothing more than acquaintances and she work with him on several patrols. When they did talk she enjoy the conversions she had with him. She truly felt that if she wasn’t in love with Onestar there could have been a chance that Reedwhisker could be someone she would want in a mate. Lakeheart feels that she is stuck in the past as she relives her positive and negative memories. Lakeheart is rather emotional and as much as she doesn’t want to she can’t help, but find herself in tears. On top of that she is just in general a sensitive cat and does not do well with harshness, criticism, or judgmentalness. The irony is she is her worst critic and finds faults in herself regardless if they are true or not. She normally doesn't express these. She tries to block it out especially when dealing with her regrets so no one has to see or judge her world. When others try to enter her world she is quick to dismiss and pretend that things are much better than they are. As much as she tries she is not the best liar. Her main giveaway is her body language and tone as she is a rather expressive cat. Lakeheart still maintains her motherly and kind attitude. She used to be laid-back, but now with the plague it has caused her to become a cautious worrier. Her protective nature wants to place others before her including their feelings. This makes her rather doubtful about her decisions than she once was. Her trusting nature can still lead her to being misguided and use unless it truly goes against her values.
Spikepaw
Spikepaw feels that his world is tearing apart. He thought he knew what his life would be like before. He would grow up as a respected and hard-working warrior under the guidance of his clan and Starclan. He might even become leader of Shadowclan one day. He knew his world would be chaotic, but nothing could prepare him for that day. When the plague hit at first Spikepaw dismiss it. This wasn’t the first time he had seen his clanmates become sick. Stories of other cats from other clans wasn’t a foreign concept either. Spikepaw felt that his dismal turn to dismay when he noticed that his clan was starting to struggle. More and more cats were becoming sick including his friends and family. His clan try to live life as normal or at least those that he notices around him including his old mentor, Ferretclaw. Ferretclaw does his best to train Spikepaw, but it is clear that as the clan continues to get worse his focus seems to be more on helping out his clanmates versus training. As such Spikepaw found himself often on hunting patrols, finding herbs, gathering water, and anything else they could do to help. There were times where Spikepaw was starting to miss border patrols as he was usually not on one.
As much as Spikepaw try to play it off like it was nothing it was clear he was concern. He pushed himself as hard as he could to help combat the plague and often express his frustrations that he wished he knew healing because he could probably be more useful. Eventually it seems like herbs were being used too much and that was becoming a struggle in itself. The herbs needed to be use in order to help combat the plague, but at the same time with the rate they were using them it was becoming harder and harder to keep up and the herbs needed to rest and repopulate. To make matters worse Ferretclaw fall ill, but he continued to try and push himself. Eventually the illness forced him to stay put. He reassured Spikepaw that he would recover and they could get back to some training again, but they never did. At first Spikepaw train with the other mentors that could still stand, but eventually one of the final acts that the leader could do was reassigned Spikepaw under another mentor and that was Scorchfur. Ferretclaw seem sad, but knew that he seemed to be getting worse so he would often tell Spikepaw that this was the best choice. Spikepaw remembers telling Scorchfur that when Ferretclaw was better he would go back to being his apprentice. This also spark a new ritual within Spikepaw and that was praying to Starclan every night. He was aware of their presence before, but he never thought much about them. His teaching of Starclan was basically that they guided and protected them. That they were the ones that granted the leader their nine lives and gave a safe haven to honorable cats including to his warrior ancestors. They gave prophecies and just overall seem like all-powerful all-knowing cats. Now that he needed them the most he figured that if he could plead for Starclan help and show them how much he was truly scared they could come and save not only his clan, but all of the clans. Before he knew it just as fast as the plague came so was the downfall of all four clans.
Spikepaw didn’t know how to feel about this. An entire clan no an entire nation of cats had fallen including his former mentor, Ferretclaw and all of his love ones and friends. As he followed his surviving clanmates to figure out what they would do Spikepaw eventually came from a silent depression to being vocal. He voiced out his denial and concerns with such sadness and disbelief. He showed his anger by blaming himself and he would often lash out at things like trees, rocks, etc. but he never lashed out at his own clanmates. There was one thing he wasn’t vocal about and that was his eternal battle with his thoughts about Starclan. He was a strong believer in them even if he never talked about them a lot. He thought that Starclan had the power to save his clan because they have guided them away from doom before. They had the power to even give cats nine lives! So why? Why didn’t Starclan save them? Why were they content with wiping out the four clans? What did they do to them? Didn’t they know that they would be nothing, but myths if they didn’t have followers? At first Spikepaw continue to plead with them to bring back his clan, love ones, and Ferretclaw. He was even willing to go as far as offer them offerings and do anything he thought would convince such as doing a silly dance. When Starclan continue to ignore him his begging turn to anger. His faith in Starclan change when he officially announced to them in private that he would no longer follow them. That they deserve no one because they were nothing, but selfish greedy cats who only did things when it was convenient for them. That the ancestors he did have must not care about Shadowclan anymore and that they were no better than a bunch of lowly Dark Forest cats.
When the new clan, Badgerclan was established Spikepaw found this only tick him off farther. The formation of Badgerclan officially meant that the four clans were dead. He only joined because of his clanmates and clan life was the only thing he knew, but he refuses to let go of his Shadowclan heritage. He doesn’t trust the other clanners and believes that eventually they will backstab him and his clanmates in the back especially with the reputation they believe has define Shadowclan for all of these years. The cats he gives the hardest time to is Thunderclan as he sees them as a bunch of nosey cats that want to act like they are the heroes all of the time. This seems like the perfect chance for them to act like this farther. Spikepaw appears to be grumpy a lot. He is a right fighter. If something sets him off, he has no problems being blunt and arguing with you. It doesn’t matter how much you debunk his claims or how much sense his claims have for he will continue to fight back until something forces it to stop. He seems to get upset farther when you point out the cold hard truth as he typically engages in these arguments to avoid the truth. If it comes down to a physical fight he has no problem engaging in one. He is rather stubborn for a few reasons. The first is that Spikepaw is naturally impulsive. Once he has his mind fully set on something he wants to dive in. The second can deal with his own beliefs and he isn’t the type that will back down easily if it goes against them. The third is that the plague has cause him to push himself even harder than before to the point he will neglect his own needs. The plague has caused Spikepaw to become paranoid about becoming sick. If he thinks something is wrong, he will go to the medicine den in a fit of panic. It doesn’t matter how little it is for if he believes something is wrong he wants it out of his system now. Spikepaw is cynical in nature. He isn’t the type that likes to reveal his emotions and thoughts so easily and he is rather reserved. You need to prove he can trust you and it will take even more if you are not part of Shadowclan. Once you have gain his trust you have a friend for life, but the moment you do something to betray his trust is the moment he will shut you out his life. It is unclear whether or not you can ever gain it back.

(Reading through your posts Ninetales and Dᴀɴɴʏ Pʜᴀɴᴛᴏᴍ , I love them and have something a add, if you don't mind? Maybe the ex-Windclanners, like Harespring and Weaselfur, would be more kind to these kits because they Onestars kits after all. Weaselfur would have more reason to like her as he he fled to Riverclan as an apprentice. Pinenose wouldn't really care, because she's Pinenose and thinks it's silly to believe kits can be cursed. Petalfur would be ignored because she's a Riverclan she-cat and would be automatically assumed to be kind to her because they both lost their loved ones in the plague and belong in the same clan, prompting her to be at odds with some of her clanmates becaus of this.)

(Man, oh man, this did not want to come out, and it shows. My next post will be better, I promise. I've just had some bad writer's block lately.)
Hootpaw's ears flattened uncomfortably once he had finished speaking, almost wondering if he had given sensitive information. He had expected a nasty word slipped in about his mentor, Nightcloud, but was gently surprised when he heard none. Poppyfrost's expression hadn't even changed, and remained rather neutral despite him bringing up a cat with an unfriendly reputation.
Nightcloud had been... nasty, if he was to put it simply. Not to him, but Hootpaw had to admit she had a horrid temper and attitude problem, especially towards the other Clans. When news of Leafpool's bastard litter with Crowfeather hit the air, Hootpaw was surprised at how much it crippled his mentor, and made her spiteful. Thus, ThunderClan, which Poppyfrost was a part of, took a lot of the hatred she had stored within her, mostly in the form of unpleasant border patrols and awkward glares at gatherings.
A wave of sadness hit him like a brick, and he swayed on his paws. He hoped that wherever Nightcloud had gone, that her hatred and sorrow was left behind on the mortal plane, and that she was content.
StarClan, watch over her, he thought, before steadying himself and turning his attention back to his conversation with the ThunderClan queen.
"Yeah, it sounds rather tedious now that I've said it out loud," he meowed in between her replies, frowning at himself. He was beginning to sound like an elder, he decided. "But... I'm glad we left. I'd rather run into a thousand of these stupid trees than be reminded of what I-we- lost everyday. I guess a fresh start will do us all good."
"No offence towards the trees, of course," he interjected before she started speaking again, not wanting to offend one of those who grew up depending on the foliage. He flattened his ears, feeling embarrassed, but quickly got over it, focusing on what she was saying.
He listened as she continued speaking, yellow eyes keen with interest. They grew wider as she finished, and he broke out into a smile.
"Yes! That's exactly what I've been thinking! If we focus on being a clan again, there's nothing that can tear us down. We just gotta believe in BadgerClan!" he exclaimed, but something still felt off. It gnawed on his stomach like a rat, creating a twisting feeling in his chest. His smile faltered, and he whispered, mostly to himself, "At least, that's what I tell myself."
Though the plague had passed, it had only been five days, which was a short amount of time for such a young cat to adjust to everything that had changed. He felt as if the world was spinning above his head, and his eyes unfocused.
Believing in BadgerClan won't bring back Nightcloud, or Onestar, or my mom and dad. Everything is still gone...

(Thanks. Harespring would be a bit slow to come around to the idea, since this is Onestar we are talking about. Weaselfur would have noticed it in when he fled to Riverclan, since he could've have saw her leaving to meet him, but didn't say anything because he didn't know who it was and didn't want to be mean to whatever happiness she found, same goes for Petalfur, but more so on the reason they are being mean to kits. Pinenose was be defensive, since she loves Spiderleg, who is a ex-Thunderclan cat, so she'd feel like by attacking Lakeheart they'd be attacking her choices and she doesn't believe in cursed kits, because that's silly, really. It could also being her closer to Spiderleg, Dᴀɴɴʏ Pʜᴀɴᴛᴏᴍ , if they shared a similar opinions on the mistreatment of these kits.)

(That is rather interesting and does give some insight on how each of these cats feel about the entire situation. I believe that Lakeheart will latch onto these cats much easier even if some might not be supporting her, but her kits. Honestly she would rather have cats be accepting and kind to her kits versus her because it isn't their fault and these are her babies after all. I am also fine with the fact that Weaselfur could have spotted, but never said anything. He would basically be an eyewitness and someone to confirm (much to Lakeheart's surprise) about their affair if he wishes.)

I'd like to nominate Pinenose for leader, but I'm fine with whatever you choose.)

(I was thinking Spiderleg for leader and Pinenose for deputy. I was thinking that Spiderleg and Willowshine could sneak off one night and go to the Moonpool so Spiderleg could become leader. Upon returning, he'd announce his leadership position. While they are gone, however, Petalfur kits and it almost ends in disaster because the medicine cat is gone. Pinenose manages to save the day, however, using what little herbal knowledge she has from Littlecloud. Upon Spiderleg's return, many cats are initially angry with them for leaving, but most of them are content with their new leader after being informed that he has StarClan's blessing. After hearing of Pinenose's job in helping Petalfur, he names her the first deputy of BadgerClan and then Amberpaw the first warrior of BadgerClan)

(Eh, we kind of already decided that the names were going to play a big part in the story, so if they get changed I'd prefer it to be way later in life, or just not at all) (Okay, her second litter then ^^, giving them the names she couldn't name her first. Harekit could probably be renamed Onekit, though it's totally up to Ninetales with what they want to do about renaming kits.) (I second this)
