(I won't be on much for today as I have multiple things I need to focus on. These are due today. Anyway I read what you and Robinsong were discussing and first of all I do love those names! To be honest I haven't really decided on what will happen with the names. Based on what I am reading I can see many different possibilities. I was thinking I was just going to let the roleplay decide the fate of these kits especially with whoever ends up roleplaying them in the first place. As Lana said because of how big of a role these names will play I would much rather have the names to be changed later if they are change at all. If they are changed then I can offer up those names as suggested names and see what happens. Still I really do like those names and since I don't see her next litter being given such degrading names (mainly because of the father and whoever else cares enough to prevent it including Lakeheart) I can definitely see the names being played there. The only thing is the fact that rogues are involved and usually they do not care about clan names. I imagine that whoever the father is might want to be able to name his half of the litter. I guess he could end up naming them with their given prefixes expect they just won't have the kit suffix to it. So if Harekit and Goosekit was given to him they would instead be called Hare and Goose. Unless Lakeheart or someone else making the decision for her comes up with a deal that the kits must be given clan names if he wants to take half of the litter. What do you think about this?
Alright Winter I will take note of that! I also think those are good choices for the leader and deputy and I like the plot surrounding it!)

Sounds fair enough. Won't Pinenose have to step down once she starts expecting, though? Or is that not a rule in BadgerClan?
Both Amberpaw and Leaftail are open.)

(I don't think she has to step down, but there will most likely be a temp. deputy until she is able to do her job again.)

Yeah, that's what I meant. She wouldn't step down for good, just until her kits are old enough. Also, it's kind of hard to read the allegiances since there's so many big paragraphs. Dᴀɴɴʏ Pʜᴀɴᴛᴏᴍ, do you think you could maybe bold the character's names? Or separate them with spaces in between?)

(Yeah, she'll have step down for the until her kits are apprenticed at least. That could be another point of drama, the temporary deputy not wanting to step down for Pinenose, but I'm getting ahead of myself.)
(I have to agree with Winter, at the very least, put a couple of spaces between character description. It's a bit hard too read. You should also start putting up like a Leader, Deupty, Warrior slot too. Though I suppose you could keep it that way. A territory description would also be good for newer members, so we don't have to keep describing it too everyone XD, but I'd love to help you with front page stuff if you'd need it, Lana.)

(Yeah I've been meaning to do that oops) ThrushmoonSpiderleg emerged from the warrior's den, his pelt fluffed up against the early morning chill. The chirping of birds all around sharply contrasted the mood of the camp. The previous night's incident with the rogues had unsettled everyone, which was no surprise to Spiderleg. BadgerClan was only six days old; it was just as weak and vulnerable as a kit of that age. With no leader, no deputy, and no proper Clan structure, all it would take was one fell swoop and they'd all fall. Which was why he needed to talk to Pinenose about his decision. His decision to become leader. He scanned the camp, searching for her familiar pelt. He'd spent most of the previous night lying awake, thinking about the empty leader position. Even though he had never considered himself much of a leader, nobody else was stepping forward to fill the role. So, he felt that he was bound to do it. After all, he always did tell everyone that he was dedicated to the survival of the new Clan. The reason he was seeking out Pinenose of all cats? Well, he trusted her. Sure, she was ShadowClan, but in his eyes that didn't matter any more. She was headstrong and unafraid of honesty, which he appreciated. He wanted to know the truth about his potential as a leader, and he knew he could get that from Pinenose. Plus, he wanted to discuss what had happened on the predawn patrol, if anything. He padded in her direction, trying to look as if he meant business. "Pinenose, can I speak to you privately, please?" His voice came out a bit more harshly than usual, but that was okay. If he was going to be BadgerClan's leader, he needed to be firm.

(Gonna make both of my charries open.)
Amberpaw rested in the apprentice's den, her head laying gently on her paws. After going out of Willowshine's den, the medicine cat had told her to not train today, in fear of opening her wound. She didn't take too kindly to that, taking her training rather seriously ("But what if another rogue attack happens?"), but ultimately couldn't say no to the medicine cat. And so she was stuck in her nest, doing nothing but drowning herself in her own thoughts. Maybe Kinkfur would hang out with her in camp or something today. She lay in the silence, waiting for the seemingly useless day to be over.
Leaftail worked relentlessly on the camp's barriers. His paws ached, possibly bleeding even, and yet he refused to give in. It hadn't even been a week and the new Clan had already suffered in some way. This surely wouldn't do. He had to keep working, no matter what! Like a WindClan warrior!
He hesitated for a moment. No, a WindClan warrior wouldn't work themselves to death like those ThunderClan cats would. They would take things in strides, taking periodic breaks to rest before jumping right back into the fray. Yes, that was right. Maybe Onestar would work himself to death - well, he practically did - but not Leaftail. Not when BadgerClan needed him.
He stopped working on the reinforcement for a moment, licking his aching paws.

She felt a bit irritated, what another patrol already? She shook it off though, knowing that with the possiblity of rouges lurking within their borders they had to be vigilant, but they were also no good dead tired. However, once Spiderleg used the word 'please' her thoughts changed direction immediately. Great Starclan it better not be more bad news, she groaned inwardly. She glanced at Owlclaw and Weaselfur,"Go back to the warriors den and get some rest you two." She dismissed them before returning her attention back to Spiderleg, and nodded her head for him to follow her so they could talk. She weaved her way through the bushes and trees before turning and sitting down, her tail curling over her paws. "What is it?" Unable to keep the curiosity out of her mew.

☂ Willowshine gave a simple nod to the apprentice as she watched her walk out. "Get some rest," she called after Amberpaw. Her own eyes were beginning to slightly shut, but her body was still awake. It felt almost as if there were many little minnows swimming inside of her. Her body simply would not quiet itself. As she laid down in her nest for the night, she found herself unable to get comfy. Moving around a bit, she could not find a place that was good for sleep. StarClan, help me, she prayed silently. The thoughts of the day began to make themselves known, and Willowshine pondered them each one by one. So much had happened today. With the Clan so young, an attack from a rogue was definitely anxious news. With Amberpaw being so young, the medicine cat was thankful that Spiderleg was there. If he wasn't... who knows what would have happened? There could be a vigil going on right now. A slight shiver ran through her pelt at the thought of this.
Forcing herself to think of something else, she pondered about how much had to be done tomorrow. Making sure herbs were still useable, gathering new supplies, mending scratches, possibly attending to more serious injuries... The job of a medicine cat is never done. Her mentor's words came back to her, along with a memory. Many moons before the Plague - Willowshine had been Willowpaw - she had complained about all the things that had to be done. Her mentor had uttered that sentence and finished it with a cuff around the ears. Later she had told Willowpaw that laziness brought about nothing. Indeed, Willowshine had soon figured that out. Finally, though, the she-cat's eyes closed, and she felt herself drift to sleep.

( Alright, here are Petalfur's kits)
Brackenkit - a small fluffy tortoiseshell she-kit with wide amber eyes and a fluffy tail. The only daughter of Petalfur is a bit of a nervous cat, and as such was usually hiding in someones shadow, usually her brothers. The thought of being a warrior, fighting rouges and bleeding, and dying, terrifies her. So she has decided, much to the relief of the clan, to ask Willowshine if she will apprentice her. She feels much safer inside the medicine cat den, and dare she say confident. Something that while being among her clanmates in any other setting eludes her. She prefers the solitude of the medicine cat den and enjoys her peace, leaving the rough housing and harsh words to her brothers and clanmates, and will often not intervene in a arugment, waiting for them to sort it out themselves. Her brothers are Jaykit and Mallowkit. (Mentor Willowshine)
Jaykit - a sleek furred gray tabby tom with ice blue eyes. Unlike his sister, Jaykit is full of energy and adventure, and is eager to learn more about his clan. He usually ends up begging someone for stories or to show him some fighting moves and often rough houses with his brother, Mallowkit. He wants to big and strong like their leader, Spiderstar, and dreams of one day becoming such a cat, maybe even Badgerclan leader himself. He likes to think of himself as brave and strong, but he is actually kind of nervous like Brackenkit, but likes to put up a brave front for his clanmates. He is also a bit headstrong and demanding, at times. Because he wants to be the best he can be, and sometimes demanding that someone teach you isn't acutally a good way to learn, save for the fact that you might get swatted. His sister is Brackenkit and his brother is Mallowkit. (Mentor...maybe Amberpaw when she becomes a warrior?)
Mallowkit - a dark brown tabby tom with lighter hind legs and muzzle with sharp amber eyes. Mallowkit is probably the calmest of his three littermates, not as shy as Brackenkit or as bold as Jaykit. He actually very devious with a taste of adventure, which has led him to try to sneak out of camp to explore. Petalfur usually catches him before this, but he has been 'dragged' back by Pinenose. Mallowkit seems to have made it his mission to try to evade the she-cats watchful gaze and is pretty grumpy whenever one of them finds him during his exploits. He also loves to listen to stories about the previous clans, and the things they did or accomplished, especially those of Shadowclan. His sister is Brackenkit and his brother is Jaykit. (Mentor probably Pinenose XD)

( Hi, everyone! Belated welcome to Ninetales. <3 I'm looking forward to see how this rogue plot unfolds! :^D Poppyfrost will probably treat Lakeheart's kits with thinly veiled wariness & mild discomfort should their mixed-clan parentage be revealed b/c she's pretty prejudiced in spite of her recent attempts to be more tolerant, while Owlclaw will more openly look down on them b/c he's so big on following the warrior code and still largely associates others with their former clans; he hasn't fully assimilated to the breakdown of these former borders and allegiances.
My next post for Poppyfrost is ~70% done, and I'll post something for Owlclaw either tomorrow or Saturday, too – I'll definitely be more active once school's over for the week. As for now, I've got calculus HW to work on. ;w; )

Amberpaw stumbled out of Willowshine's den, limbs aching with soreness. She was said to be good to go, and here she was, wanting to sleep more than anything. She blinked as Spiderleg approached, surprised that he was here. "I'll be fine," she mewed quietly. "I just need rest, and I need to be careful of infections." she added, practically repeating the medicine cat's words. She wasn't too big into herbs. She tilted her head at her mentor. "What about you? Aren't you going to get treated?" she asked, looking at the blood on his pelt. She was no medicine cat, as stated earlier, but she wasn't mousebrained. "If you leave that untreated, it'll get infected." she lectured, pushing past her mentor. "I need to get some rest. I'll see you later." She couldn't help but feel worried about Spiderleg. He seemed rather stressed.
Leaftail let out a sigh. Well, he thought to himself, Guess it's back to making dens again. What am I, an apprentice? He was almost tempted to find Hootpaw and make him do it instead, like he should. Darn ThunderClan cat, that Spiderleg. Arching his back in a stretch, he drew a paw over his face before padding away to find some twigs. May as well.

With a long and tired stretch, Weaselfur moved passed Owlclaw to head back to the Warriors Den to catch a bit more sleep before doing another patrol. He paused however, as he passed the apprentice den. The unfinished walls looked a bit spooky in the pre-dawn light, but he shook that off, the last thing he needed to be afraid of when rouges were wondering around was a den, of all things. He huffed to himself and poked his head through, scanning the den for the pelt of one particular apprentice. "Amberpaw?" He called out softly, He had nearly jumped out of his fur when she and her mentor had returned to camp looking like they'd been run over by a pair of badgers, and even scared when Spiderleg told them it was rouges, just proving how unready he was after the plague. Amberpaw had taken it hard too, but he suspected that was her first battled and that left even the boldest cats a bit rattled fighting for their clans life, along with their own. He perked his ears and waited for a response, he wanted to make sure the ginger she-cat was okay, they all needed to band together if they were going to survive this trial.

This is really thriving! We've got pretty much everyone but Ratscar and Rushtail claimed!)
Amberpaw had left Spiderleg alone to rest. Even something as simple as talking had worn her out - in both her vocal cords and mind. She had a lot of information to process, and it was probably best to sleep on it. Who knows, maybe her family would contact her in a dream - if the plague hadn't taken out StarClan itself. She really, really hoped not. She couldn't bear to know that her now deceased siblings and parents were wandering alone for eternity.
She was about to push herself into the den, which was empty, thankfully, but was stopped by Weaselfur. Him, of all cats? she wondered, turning to face him. Weaselfur was an odd case. Once a WindClan cat, he ran to RiverClan after the plague struck his Clan. She didn't really agree with it, as she would never leave her family to die, but she supposed he felt guilty enough about it. What she was surprised about was that he had little to do with ThunderClan. Her Clan hardly ever interacted with RiverClan, as they were on opposite sides of the lake. She doubted that the tom knew who she was before BadgerClan was formed.
"Yes?" Amberpaw asked warily, wondering what he had to say.

( Welcome, Fogpath! All these new members are making me really happy. :'D )
Owlclaw felt his mouth pull into a faint scowl as he padded into camp with the other members of the predawn patrol. No sight of rogues at all. He’d have liked to chase the intruders out of their territory, but it seemed that would have to wait for now.
His claws itching for something to do, Owlclaw scanned the camp. Eventually, his eyes caught sight of Leaftail busy at work on one of the thorny barriers. His scowl deepened at the sight, mood dampening even further as though an invisible rain cloud was growing over his head. Oh, right. There’s that. With his current array of unhealed scratches and scrapes, Owlclaw wasn’t looking forward to tangling with an recalcitrant bramble any time soon.
But he hadn’t caught a rogue like he’d been hoping to, and he felt like teaching something a lesson today, so Owlclaw gritted his teeth and marched over to the spot next to Leaftail. Anyway, Owlclaw didn’t want anyone getting any funny ideas about him being a slacker based on what he’d said at the meeting. Sure, scratches were a total pain, but they weren’t certainly going to stop a former ShadowClan cat from getting the job done. Time to show these brambles who’s boss!
( @aromatisse : I promise I'll have Poppyfrost's reply up tomorrow! I was about to post it but ended up having second thoughts at the last second. Sorry for the delay! >.<
In the meantime, everyone, please enjoy your daily dose of Owlclaw getting into scuffles with inanimate objects. <3 )
