OOC: Okay IC: Threepaw had searched most of the camp, except inside a few dens because she didn't want any warriors to take off an ear for her. She padded over to the fresh-kill pile, wondering if Firestorm would've allowed her to eat. She decided to wait, because it didn't seem right to do much without permission. She noticed Flintspeck sitting nearby, and the medicine cat apprentice approached the warrior. "Hi," she greeted Flintspeck. |

Flintspeck almost jumped out of her skin at the sudden voice that appeared in front of her and quickly tried to calm her rapidly beating heart. With a shuddered breath and nervous swaying of her tail, Flintspeck finally recognized the cat that walked up to her and that she needed to answer the fellow she-cat. "O-oh Threepaw.." She said her breath coming back to her and her eyes softening from the frightened look she had before. "Didn't see you there.."

OOC IC: Threepaw felt guilty as Flintspeck jumped. Even though it seemed that she was scared of everything, it never felt nice to her when some cat jumped because of her. "What're you doing?" She queried. It would be nice, she thought, if Flintspeck had something for her to do. It was not like Firestorm was going to appear suddenly. She should spend her time better than sitting around waiting. |

(aye super sorry I can guarantee it won't be this bad when my coworkers get back from vacation! 6 of them left when we have 4 trainees and all are training front but we only have 9 front workers and 6 shift leaders. So in total we only have 13 workers that can work up front and aren't training and 6 of them are gone. Pluuus I'm sick so I've been sleeping. Tomorrow is my day off I'll start warning you whenever this happens I promise!)
Stonefire looked at his apprentice "I'll show you a few moves." The older tom wanted to see how fast Rainpaw could think on his think, he wanted it to become a part of the apprentice so that eventually he wouldn't have to think about it, his body would just do what it remembered to do. Stonefire thought in battle but his body also was natural to the moves, and it made it much smoother to fight that way.

( It's fine Blizz (︶ω︶) ) FLintspeck w/ Threepaw "I-I was gonna go out and patrol the border.." Flintspeck stuttered past her discomfort and turned her eyes to stare down at her front paws. The she-cat wasn't to sure why Threepaw came to her in search of someone to talk to, they didn't have that much in common. Flintspeck definitely wasn't her mentor, but the gray she-cat supposed that Threepaw probably couldn't locate the medicine cat right now. Staring even more intently at her paws, Flintspeck thought about the other she-cat's sudden appearance and thought about how this could work as a good chance to better connect with the clan. She spoke up with a small voice and moved her eyes to stare past Threepaw's head, not keen enough to look at her eyes just yet. "Would you like to come with me..?"
Webpaw w/ Stormwing, Stonefire, Rainpaw Webpaw nodded her head at her mentor's words and moved into a staring position. Her eyes slide past Stonefire talking to Rainpaw about starting their own training and had to turn her head away before she started to laugh at the fact that Stormwing expected her to train with cat she still considered a kit. With a hidden leer of her own, Webpaw began with the last move Stormwing had taught her, a back kick. Shifting her weight onto her front paws, the she-cat kicked out with her back legs into the air, imagining an opponent impacting with her kick and being send flying back onto the ground. She next swerved around on her paws and ran towards where her fake enemy landed to unsheathed her claws on her front right paw and dig into ground where she thought the cat's head would be. |

Rainpaw nodded. He decided to ignore the looks he got from Webpaw since it didnt seem like she would be very helpful so instead he kept his eyes on his mentor. He watched Stonefire demonstrate and tried to think about how it was done.
Stormwing watched Webpaw carefully. Once she'd beaten her imaginary opponent, he padded over towards her. "Not bad. But you're off balance. When you kick back, you dont want to put so much weight on your front paws. If you'd been lighter, you could have done the turn much faster. An experieced opponent would have been on their paws by the time you got to them, unless they didnt go very far."

Webpaw listened to her mentor's explanation before nodding her head and moving back into a starting position. Taking her weight into account, the she-cat balanced her weight between both her front and back legs and again kicked back height into the air. Webpaw hoped she followed Stormwing's clarification as best as she could and looked back towards Stormwing to show that she was waiting for his evaluation. Webpaw respected her mentor greatly and didn't want to disappoint him. "How was that?"

Stonefire blocked out Stormwing and Webpaws training and he leaned down and whispered into his apprentices ear "I think it's time we prove age doesn't mean skill." The tom knew plenty of warriors were younger than him and if he wasn't smart about his movements they could easily beat him. Fighting was all about strategy, thinking on your feet. He knew Rainpaw was persistent and wouldn't back down as easily as Webpaw thought. He was a quick learner and he worked hard to perfect his skills.

Stormwing nodded slowly. "Better. Now try to imagine the cat you tried kickig dodged or barely moved backwards. How would you counter?" He hadnt yet taught Webpaw this move, but he wanted to see what she would do naturally.
Rainpaw's eyes gleamed at the prospect of a challenge. "Of course." He murmured back. Drawing himself up, he practiced the moves Stonefire had just showed him. He felt a bit off balance as he moved and worked to correct it, doing a quick series of the same move to try and get a better feel for it. After a while, he paused to look up at his mentor.

Stonefire let out a gentle purr "well done Rainpaw." He stood up and looked at Stormwing "I believe Rainpaw is ready, if Webpaw is as well we can begin." It hadn't taken long for Rainpaw to learn the moves, and Webpaw would believe it was a weakness but in fact Stonefire knew it was Rainpaws strength, he wouldn't give up and Stonefire recognized that.

Stormwing couldn't hide his surprise, but he quickly masked it over and nodded. "Alright then." He hadn't actually had the chance to observe, but Stonefire was a seasoned mentor and Stormwing trusted his judgement. If Rainpaw was ready for his first spar, then so be it. He turned towards Webpaw. "Are you ready?"

She has a brown pelt, with a black chest, belly, paws, inner ear fur, and tailtip. She has bright green eyes, and a slim, sleek, slender build. She has sleek, shiny fur.
She is brave, sweet, kind, caring, and loyal to her friends, and can be enthusiastic and energetic at times, but mainly keeps herself to herself. She tries not to show it, but she has very low self-esteem, and believes that she will never achieve her goal of becoming the leader of EmberClan. She can be extremely shy around strangers, and she really, really, REALLY doesn't fare well in stressful situations!
Backstory:
She was born to an EmberClan queen, Roseleap, as her only kit, but Roseleap died whilst giving birth.

Riverstone|| 28 moons || female || oakstar
Riverstone is a short-haired smaller sized she-cat with a dark grey pelt with tabby stripes that seem to blend right into her pelt. A white marking stretches from her chin all the way to the underneath tip of her tail. A black stripe stretches from the back of her neck to halfway up her tail. She has deep blue eyes with white dots that completely circle her eyes. Riverstone has a notches missing out of both ears from getting into a fight as an apprentice. A scar stretches from just below her jaw to her ribs from getting cut trying to escape one of the temples as a young warrior and almost failing to escape. Riverstone is a very happy warrior, trying to avoid conflict the best she can. She is one to always put her most into everything she does, never wanting to let anyone down. She is the first to take the blame, even if she didn't do it. Despite her smiley exterior she blames herself for a lot of things that happen in the clan and is always wondering what she could do better.
