Not really, though Storm & Pond have a bit of romantic like for each other. What should the omen be about & who should recieve the dream? It makes sense for it to be Storm but if it was Pond that could be why they're patrolling together. Also should the omen/dream be about Bubbling retiring? I think that would make sense. Maybe they both had a piece of a dream and then they realize it on the patrol and put it together? I agree, I think it should be about Bubbling’s retirement. Do you wanna start or should I? I probably won't get my replies up until later today |

i would love having slatefoot as deputy <3 but it really could go to anyone! funny that both of bubbling's apprentices have chances for the position. lazzylake i was thinking of having bubbling announce his retirement to the clan, maybe the day before they leave for the ceremony? it could be a chance to have a small festival type event with everyone! starclan cats could show up star wars style to watch the party lol |

Okay so for Blizzard, since she reincarnated ig I hink for StarClan she's sorta there but not.
It's like how when a leader loses a life they're like there but not if you know what I mean?
Also for the festival can the Clan cats see the StarClan spirits? If so they could tell Bubbling that Blizzard go a second chance or smthn
Also btw in 5 days I will be leaving for a week, I will probably get responses up if anything really major happens but otherwise won't

We now have an art thread!if yall want to have a story thread for like, longer bits that don't fit in the roleplay lmk and I can make a page for that. ^^ I might make one anyways just because I want to put some Frozenlaurel backstory bits and also maybe write some early scenes that never played out (like maybe the Bramblespots murder plot? because that never even got touched/commented on much since it happened so early in the timeline)

And Bubbling DIES from his injury the moon he doesn't have lives to tank the hit lmao. I rolled that back because it doesn't really make sense??? If he was weak enough that the injury would kill him, I don't think he'd willingly give up his lives just before that??? Tho if you want the death to be canon, maybe he lets it take one of his lives first and then retires after? Or you can just hand wave that entirely and say he was steadily recovering and retired after he was recovered. Your call jaybun!but I thought that was hilarious timing. esp because this was, what? small announcement! We're officially over a page of cats, (25) which means it's time to ask The Question:
mass extinction toggle. Leave it off, or turn it on? The poll also has another option to turn it on at moon 70, so five moons from now.
Turning mass extinction on means that, on any moon update, there is a CHANCE that 2-8 cats can die from a tragic event. This may not happen for dozens of moons, but it could also happen the moon after we toggle it on.

I voted turn on at moon 70 so that Hopbramble and her kits will have time to shine before a mass extinction event might take one of their lives 😊👍 But I do agree we have a lot of cats to manage in a role play, so a reduction in numbers would be a good idea, so we have less NPC cats. Also, the fact that this Clan role play is closed. |

i honestly did expect that might happen, elders are not great at surviving in clangen's rng! i think i'd like one moon or so after his retirement before i let him die, so a recovery before passing on his lives sounds good to me!

Wow yall came to a consensus quickly! Mass extinction will be turned on after seven moons. so mid august. Hopefully this will cause some good drama and also keep our cat level manageable~
I also sent out my first (small) wave of invitations. This time table should also give some of them time to settle in if/when they decide to pick up a character!

Ouch, poor Bubbling. I also figured that would happen too, it'd be YewClan's luck!
Just to be clear, Bubblingstar had six lives before retiring? Hope I'm not misunderstanding anything about losing another life. I'll start writing Dapple's leadership ceremony shortly! Naturally it will be a very big post so I'm starting early
