Hi there! cometchaos okay so for the BurdockClan lore! Here's a bit of trivia: Falconwind and Shadepatch (as an apprentice) were first described on page 42 by Slatefoot. Back then, we didn't know what Shadepaw looked like so she was originally described as a brown tabby. Anyways, Chestnutpaw is Falconwind's kit! He was the only kit to survive in his litter. Fennelspring and Hollowgale (the bully siblings) were older apprentices when he was born; I'd assume roughly the same age as Shadepatch. Hollowgale is very bossy and loves to exaggerate, so he blames Chestnutpaw and Falconwind for Shadepatch leaving. In actuality, Falconwind was struggling to keep her kits alive, which is why Chestnutpaw gets defensive about it. They were under circumstances that no medicine cat could control. Fennelspring is just a smidge tamer in personality, but plays off her brother a lot. If they're on patrol together then she'll often copy Hollowgale (catching the same number of prey, using similar battle moves, etc.) She's often described as his shadow. |

Brownie - I'm going to be going away this weekend for a few weeks (I think I get back July 15/16) so this is going to be my last moon for a while. I totally understand if you have to put my cats up for claim while I'm gone!

Blizzardkit: Is scolded after failing to sneak out of camp
Foxkit: Took a sunbath with Hayfeather and Bubblingstar
Bubblingstar: Thinks Foxkit was nice to him today
Scarletdrift: Shared an embarrassing story about Shadepatch he was asked not to share
Hayfeather: Complained alongside Shadepatch
Scarletdrift: Somehow collected many ticks in his pelt, and grumbles about the itchy bites (Those darn nonexistent apprentices!)
Drizzlemimic: Bristles after being scolded by Whorlkit
Foxkit: Follows Drizzlemimic all day
Blizzardkit: Has a mock battle with Drizzlemimic (Very popular with the kits!)
Frozenlaurel: Deliberately takes a moss-ball away from Foxkit so he couldn't annoy the older warriors with it
Frozenlaurel: Gives Blizzardkit advice ("This is how you make your sister shut up")

Ok, Shadepatch's family time!~Lakespirit - A cream, grey, and white short-furred bengal tom with emerald eyes - Shade’s Brother.  ~Crowfrost - A black long-furred she-cat with heather-blue eyes - Shade’s Sister.  ~Whisperdream - A ginger and white long-furred she-cat with heather-blue eyes. Shade’s Mother.  ~Beelight - A black and cream short-furred tom with green eyes. Shade’s Father.  ~FUN FACTS TIME-Shadepaw left in the middle of the night so Lakepaw thought she died or disappeared and decided to become a medicine cat, now they meet at the half-moon medicine cat meetings :D -Crowfrost became a young deputy after the previous one froze to death in a leafebare blizzard which totally isn't foreshadowing -You remember I previously mentioned Shadepatch leaving because a lot of the clan thought she was a coward for running for her life from a dog instead of protecting the cat who told her to run? Yeah Whisperdream was that cat lol -Scar stuff: Lakespirit got his scar from a rogue on the moon he got his full medicine cat name, Crowfrost from a training accident as an apprentice, Beelight from an owl as an apprentice for the one on his back, and a fox as a warrior for the one on his chest -The images were made in Clangen Catmaker, you can just google it if you wanna find it -The ingame personalities for each cat going from the top to the bottom would be: Nervous, Cold, Compassionate, and Loyal -Lakespirit and Whisperdream are fine with Shadepatch having left, Beelight and Crowfrost think she's a traitor to their family and clan for leaving |

Also, I wanna ask you guys if it would be fun to make Burdockclan have a tradition (maybe Shadepatch could at one point mention it?) and I'm thinking that it could be that the Medicine Cats get a plant accesory when they get their full name? I feel like it would be fun to OOC make a fun little tradition for a different clan (especially since we can already make cats for the other clans (apart from Plumclan) too)

figured i'd put my headcanons for bubbling & hazel here so my thought process is a little more transparent!
Bubbling:
- major slacker as an apprentice and a young warrior. he'd originally wanted to pursue healing but chose to let icepath have the apprenticeship; and struggled with motivation afterward.
- he always had a bit of a crush on icepath as they grew up together, and he was a little jealous of her path in life as well.
- he only began to put in real effort in being a warrior after his first apprentice died- and he didn't take another until slatefoot.
- nearly considered leaving yewclan when he was made deputy under cloudystar, but they had a heart-to-heart.
Hazel:
- uses gosh, golly, and jeez a lot! it's a really obvious tell about her kittypet origins.
- a house cat through and through. she'd never spent much time around other cats until yewclan, and isn't the best at reading body language.

The Bubblingstar and Dappleswipe pip this moon  I feel so bittersweet about it. They have such a nice and trusting dynamic. I think I'll do some more planning on the leadership ceremony this moon. My first instinct when I saw Red was to claim her again  I guess that's just the way I am with elderly sick cats. But I hope she gets through! The chances seem slim, especially with leaf-bare on the wind. Is redcough contagious in the game? Or is it just passed on in more milder terms like whitecough? |
