"Okay I thought I would take Volepaw to hunt since he still has more energy." Dawnlight said leading the apprentice back away from camp. "That works for me," said Hickoryfoot with a sigh. It looked like whatever she did, her apprentice would always be more active than her. "Don't run Dawnlight ragged, Volepaw." Like you have me, she added silently. "I won't." Volepaw dipped his head happy to be able to burn energy. He looked up at Dawnlight waiting for her to lead the way. Dawnlight nodded to the other warriors and lead Volepaw out to a hunting spot she used when she wanted price. Rosebriar went to the side of camp and started cleaning her face. |

Can't believe my sister actually went on patrol," he purred with laughter. Rosebriar nodded awkwardly finding it hard to breathe. She tried to play it off. "She led well too." She said trying to stay calm. Turtlepaw made her way out of the apprentice den. |

"I know that everyone here is quite nice it's just hard to talk to them." Rosebriar said having finally found her tongue. It was harder because she was extra nervous around toms. "Is there something you want me to do today?" Turtlepaw asked. "...I get that," said Elmheart, a little embarrassed. He cast a glance at Turtlepaw, trying to think of something. "Can you make sure the elders and queens have gotten prey?" He looked back at Rosebriar and tried to think of something to say that wouldn't continue the silence. "Have you heard any interesting clan gossip?" he asked, giving up. |
