"Then there's Perchheart, too," she added, "I've seen him at gatherings."
Perchheart seemed like a... friendly cat. She just couldn't see him being her father. Nor Darksplash. Or any FernClan cat to be honest. You'd think that if you heard a name, instantly you'd know who it was. But it wasn't possible for this case.
She gave a slight twitch of her tail as the sun began to rise.
"I need to get home..." she murmured, anxious that one of her clanmates would realize she was missing. Or worse- a FernClan dawn patrol would be sent out and she gets caught on territory that is not her own.

"Of course. I'll come back when I can," She promised. She then quickly turned, whisking away into the shadows before the sun would be fully up. She needed to get home.

Lionpaw flicked his tail in goodbye. "Stay safe. I'll try to investigate Perchheart and Darksplash while you're gone." He felt strangely sad to see her go. Even though they had just met, it felt like they had known each other for much longer.

As the sun rose, Echopaw stirred. He left the apprentices' den and went into the main clearing of the camp, trying to find something to do. He wandered around the camp as the rest of his clan began to wake up.
