JayClan 3.0 ~ The New Era

Feathermist purred, nudging her gently. "I know, right!" The she-cat smiled happily. Just a little while ago, her friend hadn't exactly liked water. But now, she was enjoying it. Feathermist's happiness had grown at this fact. Hollyfire likes water! I think! We share a love of water, and now we can be even closer...

[Silverwind is a silverly gray cat with jewel blue eyes. She has smooth, silky-like fur and it gives a beautiful color underwater.] [Silverwind is a quiet she-cat, preferring not to talk much. She is a sweet cat and loves to help her clanmates, in whatever way, she can. She is an observant and alert she-cat, paying attention to what goes on in the clan. She is shy about her feelings and tries to hide them but, it is quite obvious. She, rarely, gets mad but, when she does, she yells and goes on a shouting rant. She loves her clanmates and will protect them with her life.] [She has a crush on Leafmist.] [Mintstream]

[Seawhisper] [Male/Pansexaul] [Warrior]

[Seawhisper is a golden brown tabby with black spots and a black line from the top of his head to his nose. He has warm bluish green eyes.] [He is a cat that is misunderstood often. He looks like a quiet cat but, he loves to talk. He has a lot of enthusiasm and will get excited, easily. Like the weather and the ocean, his emotions change quickly. He can go from sad to happy, happy to angry and vise versa. He has problems with his temper, if something doesn't happen how, he would like. He hides his emotions, when he needs but, prefers not to. He is an honest as well as loyal cat and will admit to his mistakes, usually apologizing, afterwards. He is however naive and tends to learn from his mistakes.] He also is good at keeping secrets from every cat.[ [No crush yet. I, probably, will change it in the future.] [Mintstream]

"Is something wrong?" Hollyfire asked, tilting her head sideways. She blinked innocently at Feathermist with a slight, concerned frown on her face.

I finished my form.)

"Yes, of course!" Feathermist began to worry that her argument wasn't convincing. But she took a deep breath, and let it go. "So am I. I mean, nothing else could be in this water. But I still have my doubts. And worries. But whatever, I know what's in here." She had run out of breath at this point, and took a gulp of air. "Heh... Sorry for rambling." She let more of her embarrassed tone show.

Feathermist looked at her with big eyes. "What do you mean?" She meowed, cocking her head. "Do I really?" She questioned. "I'm sorry..." She sighed. I messed up.

"I just..." Feathermist struggled to speak what was on her mind. She didn't want to be distant from her friend. She wanted to be open with her worries. Besides, she knew a lot about Hollyfire, but she had not yet told her very much about herself. Sighing, she very gently touched her nose to her companion's cheek. Taking a deep breath, she just said, "Your gesture earlier was sweet, and I didn't know how to handle that... In short, you made me blush and I stumbled out of embarrassment of me blushing." She explained. "I'm not used to it... At all."

"Really?" She asked curiously, cocking her head. "I mean, you seem like the cat that'd be able to make others blush." She nudged her gently, splashing her with a bit of water in the process. And she couldn't say that it wasn't on purpose, because it was. Feathermist gave a purr of amusement at her actions. "But hey, one leads to another! Hopefully! If that's your goal... To make other cats blush."

Hollyfire thought for a moment before responding. "Well... I don't really have a goal. Though I've always wanted a mate." She purred, a small blush forming on herself. "But it is always nice to make others blush."

Leafmist trotted into the medicine den after gathering some herbs. Shriveled catmint lay in her jaws. "This is all I could find, unfortunately." She mewed between the leaves as she came up next to Silverwind.

Jaystar stretched as she left her den. I slept in late. Yawning, she looked around camp to see what her loyal warriors were up to. As she saw Seawhisper leaving she decided she would join her. Jaystar hadn't left camp in awhile and was eager to leave. "Hello!" She called out, hoping it would reach Seawhisper's ears.

Silverwind looked at the catmint and sighed, with disappointed.

"We should probably get a warrior to come with us so we can find some more by the river."


Seawhisper turned around. "Oh! Good afternoon, Jaystar! Is there anything you need me to do?" He asked, quickly.

Feathermist looked at her, watching her purr. "I hadn't thought about adoption..." She murmured, thinking hard about the prospect. She was happy to take in kits. However, from the time she was a kit herself, her parents had always told her she would have the most beautiful kits. She didn't want to let them down by having no kits of her own. But she just didn't love tom cats. The thought pierced Feathermist's heart, but she tended not to let these things get to her.

"Really?" Feathermist asked, her ears perking. "So am I. Well... Toms aren't really my style, if you know what I'm saying. But my parents pretty much said the same thing. They kept on going on about, "Oh Feather, you'll have the most beautiful kits ever!" and "Feather, you have to bring us our grandchildren one day."" She imitated, giving a purr of amusement. "But... It's kinda impossible to have kits when you're only into other she-cats."

Feathermist laughed, purring with amusement. "You'd need to be smaller, and you still look like Hollyfire to me, not Hollykit. But you're most definitely adorable!" She purred, flicking her with her tail playfully. "Besides, I can't just show up in front of my parents anymore anyways." She meowed, flicking her tail again in dismissal. "It's a lot more complicated than that."

Hollyfire felt her ears grow hot with embarrassment. "I-I'm not adorable." She spluttered, a smile plastered on her face. "And I'm sorry about your parents... I haven't seen mine in moons either. If you ever want to talk about it, I'm here." She pressed herself against her friend as a sign of comfort. I'm so glad I met her. We have so much in common.

Leafmist nodded in agreement before turning to the den entrance. "Let's go find someone then."

"Fantastic." Jaystar purred, heading out of the entrance. "Where exactly do you want to hunt?" She asked Seawhisper, looking around the forest. This is my home. It's so different from the mountains... But I love it here.
