Cinderpaw stiffened slightly as Firepaw changed from leaning on her brother to leaning on her instead. Cinderpaw didn't say anything but simply stared at her with a stunned expression for a heartbeat. She took a second to compose herself and bite down any rude retort she wanted to say and kept herself from shifting so that Firepaw was left with no cat to lean on. Cinderpaw had been told in the past that she wasn't very considerate of others, and she was trying to work on it. So despite how uncomfortable Cinderpaw was, she simply stayed where she was and used an inviting tone when she spoke.
"We were going to go play prey and hunter, would you like to join us?" She was careful to keep her voice as it usually sounded, if a bit strained.

Speckledpaw had been debating whether or not to follow through on Hawkaw's advice of leaving when Firepaw walked over to her brother, whining as she did so. Speckledpaw backed further into the den and turned to face the others, now severely confused. Moments before Speckledpaw had been afraid that she would bite his tail off if he tried to speak to her, now she sounded desperate to have the others talk to her. Speckledpaw didn't quite understand what was going on, and was mildly afraid at how easily Firepaw changed from hissing to using a playful tone.

The tom chuckled softly. "Well thanks. I feel like an apprentice now." He rolled his eyes. "I'm sure my tail will be fine, I'll cover up the fox scent and meet you back at camp." He suggested, noticing how winded Lynxstep looked. But before they could refuse; he disappeared behind the shrub that the fox was behind, already working on covering up the scent, rubbing his fur against most everything around there. He had left his prey near Stormfire to pick up after he was done. |

Raventwist smiled and chuckled. "Don't fret over your traits. You wouldn't be here if you weren't considered a good and valuable member to the clan. No need to worry about the small stuff." He said before leaning closer and whispering, "And for the record, there's no harm in embracing your physical qualities as well."

Amberfoot padded back into camp with Black claw beside her. She carried a mouse in her haws while Black claw carried a vole. They headed over to the Fresh kill pile and sat their prey down.

Lynxstep nodded before turning away and heading back towards camp, brushing up against anything that smelled vaguely of fox on his way back. A light breeze ruffled his fur and he purred happily, the scent of leaf fall was in the air and with it came the promise of cooler weather and fatter prey. While the prey numbers would drop significantly, it also meant they would be fat as they would be stocking up and storing fat for the winter ahead. Lynxstep slipped into the camp's entrance and padded over to the fresh kill pile, proudly dropping his squirrel in the very top. He sat down in the shade a little ways off and began to groom his paws, cringing at the taste of fox and mud that was clinging to them. He looked at them in distaste and decided that personal grooming wasn't going to cut it this time, his whole pelt was streaked with mud and he reeked like the ginger canine he chased off the territory. He sighed, a trip to the river was in order of he ever wanted to get clean again.

Stormfire grabbed the prey Badgerstripe had left for him, he had to get to camp now. Truding through a small bush, he made his way to the camp. As the grey tom passed the entrance into camp, he stopped by the fresh kill pile to drop the prey. Spinning around to look at the camp, Stormfire noticed Amberfoot and Blackclaw carrying prey. "Hey, Amberfoot!" He padded over to the cats. Stormfire couldnt see Rainstar around camp, probably in her den.

Stormfire shook his head, "i just wanted to tell you about Vixenpaw if you were wondering where she was." The tom began to explain, "Vixenpaw wanted to go out hunting but couldn't find you anywhere, i asked what was wrong and she told me that she wanted to go outside, so i took her hunting. I didn't even tell her much but she made a great catch with this sparrow, you mentored her very well."

Badgerstripe
Badgerstripe followed after a short while, padding along briskly. Upon reaching camp, he stopped by the oak tree, giving himself a quick grooming to look presentable, before padding into camp. His tail had a dried coat of blood and fox saliva, which he hoped not many cats would notice. Once in camp, he flopped down onto his side in the shade in hopes of a light rest.
Rainstar
Flicking her tail, the she-cat exited her den with a usual calm expression. She positioned herself at the base of high cliff, settling down to watch her camp bustle around. The apprentice's warrior ceremonies will have to be planned soon.... she thought quietly to herself as she spaced out, staring intently at what seemed to be the willow tree.
Ferntail
Blushing just slightly, she cleared her thought. "No I shouldn't be ashamed." She admitted that he was right. "But again, you have to admit, my season suites me." She smirked, noticing how embracing and relaxing the tom had got, giving her all the more reason to relax as well. |

Rainstar is 38 Moons. Old enough to be a good leader... And young enough to still have a mate although she hasn't found the right tom yet. She's not a flirtious she-cat. She's on her 8th life as well. According to a prophecy, she lost her first life before becoming the leader. She had died as a kit at birth, but was given her 8 lives from then on. The prophecy was: "When the rain finally falls, a new beginning is granted, for more than one but with time comes wisdom." If the prophecy doesn't make sense, I can explain it.

No problem c: And if you're talking about Rainstar and Lynxstep then I agree, in moon terms there's a big gap but in reality it's only a year and a quarter difference between them which really isn't much.
