Lilypaw looked over to Minkpaw quickly at the random exclamation, her eyes wide for a moment before they rested on the toad. Looking confused for a heartbeat the she-cat inwardly shook her head and daintily headed over. "S-should we catch it?" She whispered to the other apprentice, her amber gaze uncertain. She didn't really like to eat frogs, but every once in a while the apprentice would see a warrior grab one from the pile.

"It's so cute though. Frogs don't taste that great anyways," Minkpaw replied, sticking her tongue out. The toad leaped away to the other side of the stream, and she watched it with a small look of longing on her face.

Lilypaw thought for a moment, her amber gaze following after the frog. "Do you.. want to follow it?" She asked quietly, feeling a bit intrigued by the expression Minkpaw had. The apprentice really wouldn't mind if it would make the other apprentice happy.

Lilypaw nods slowly before following after the she-cat. She felt a bit hesitant at first but seeing Minkpaw seem so excited, in a way it was amusing to the cream she-cat. Deciding it best, the apprentice soon coaxed herself into doing the same, hopping along right behind Minkpaw. Where the frog was taking them she was completely unsure but doing this was actually kind of... fun?

Minkpaw hopped after the toad and followed it until suddenly, her nose bumped into a what felt like a mound of dirt. She paused and looked up. The toad was hopping around a den of some sort. Once it cleared the opening in the ground, it continued on its way. Minkpaw didn't follow it.

Lilypaw froze at the den as well, a overbearing feeling of uncertainty once she peered through the hole. "We need to get out of here." She whispered to the other apprentice. A bit more composed to serious than usual, but the small apprentice didn't want to take any chances. Course she hadn't scented anything but anything dangerous usually attacked with surprise.

"I don't smell anything. Maybe whatever lived here moved on?" Minkpaw said. She crouched down and peered into the opening of the den, finding a smaller hole inside of it. Minkpaw's expression changed suddenly. "Maybe this is a rabbit hole!", she exclaimed. Though she was trying to act brave for Lilypaw, she was actually beginning to feel uneasy.

TwistedBreeze woke up in the warrior den, and get to his paws, stretching and yawning. blinking sleep from his eyes, he shook bits of moss off of his pelt before padding out into the camp, glancing around for someone to go hunting with.

Lilypaw scents the air again as if to try and be sure. Though her nose caught onto nothing as before. The she-cat wanted to drag back Minkpaw from getting any closer, not for fear of whatever it could be but fear in general for the other apprentice. She could fall in! Or worse.. "I-I don't know about that.. I don't scent.. any rabbits around.." The apprentice mewed, her amber gaze twinkled with worry and uncertainty. Absentmindedly the cream she-cat took a step careful step back.

"Some borage leaves, in case someone comes down with a fever." Spiderface replied. "Hopefully they shouldn't be too hard to find." So he turned and headed for the camp exit.
Minkpaw turned back to look at Lilypaw. "If there's no scent then their can't be anything to worry about...right?" she mewed faintly. There's gotta be something to bring back to the clan. She thought. Turning back to the hole, she could see something small flickering out of the small hole. This isn't familiar. Fear pierced through Minkpaw, making her heart beat wildly. Suddenly, as if in response, something flashed out of the hole. Minkpaw yowled in pain. Snake!

Lilypaw watched carefully, her expression showing clear nervousness before her eyes caught a glimmer of something in the hole. "Minkpa-!" But it was too late. Before the apprentice could try and stop, Minkpaw's cry pierced her ears and fear made her blood turn cold. It was a snake! As if in response, Lilypaw unsheathed her claws and rushed over to the other apprentice's side. In mere seconds she bit down on the snake, hard, in an attempt to have it release Minkpaw. Was it venomous? The she-cat wondered hurriedly with horror as the snake wouldn't let go.
Silverdawn had just finished burying the rabbit she had caught before the voices of something akin to clamour hit her ears. Was that... Lilypaw and Minkpaw? She thought with worry before she quickly trotted off in the direction she heard the cry from. Once Lilypaw's fear scent hit her nose the she-cat swallowed hard before quickening her pace, only to find the scene laid out in front of her. "Minkpaw!" She called out quickly before she pushed Lilypaw aside and flung the snake away from the two.

Robinmask was in camp, watching the few cats left. she had seen everyone come and go out on unorganized hunting patrols, when she heard a scream coming from somewhere in the forest. She stood quickly, leaving the camp in a hurry to try and find the source.

Minkpaw was frozen in pain and fear, an excruciating stabbing sensation in her front leg. All she could see was the triangle-shaped head of the snake before it was flung away from her. Stupid, I'm so stupid... was the last thing she thought before blacking out.
Spiderface pricked his ears at the sound of a cat yowling and saw Robinmask run past them. "Obviously, something's wrong", he said calmly but quickly, and, flicking his tail at Twistedbreeze, launched himself after Robinmask.

TwistedBreeze bounded after the other two cats, catching up quickly and skidding to a stop upon finding the apprentices. "what happened" he asked gruffly. glancing around, he spotted a snake, laying motionless nearby.

"Minkpaw!! Please get up!" She uttered out, her voice filled with fear and worry as she attempted to nudge the other apprentice. Lilypaw was visibly shaking as she watched Minkpaw pass out, her body freezing as she realized how helpless she was. She should have gotten them both out of there! She knew there was trouble and yet.. she stayed.. This was all her fault, wasn't it?
Silverdawn faced off with the snake, darting quickly to the left and then the right before she pounced on it. As the snake was already injured and weary from being flung, there was only so much it could do and the she-cat took advantage of that as she gave it a killing blow to the head by whipping it down to the ground. The she-cat was visibly panting before her ears pricked at the sound of the other cats arrival. "Minkpaw's been bitten." She reported carefully before her amber gaze trailed to the two apprentices. "She needs help, and fast."

Spiderface's eyes widened with shock. "That snake must have been venomous. I've never dealt with these kinds of injuries before", he said nervously, pacing. "Let's get her back to camp. We'll need to stop the bleeding, and perhaps give her something that can remove the venom from her body."
