Minkpaw nodded. "Of course!", she mewed. Seeing Lilypaw's shyness made Minkpaw smile with amusement. "I'm pretty sure I smelled something in that direction." She pointed her nose towards a group of bushes that seemed to be leading into a clearing.

Hawkstar hopped onto the Meeting Rock, a serious expression on his face. "Cats of DarkClan! gather here beneath me!" He yowled. Keeping his composure, he let his amber eyes scan over the camp, making sure his cats heard him.

Lilypaw had a smile on her face at Minkpaw's acceptance. Feeling happy from her kindness. Her ears pricked at her next words and soon the she-cat looked in the direction pointed out. Lightly she lifted her head to scent, catching onto the scent of a mouse. "I-I smell it too.." She reported, the small she-cat looked over to Minkpaw with uncertain expression though her smile still stayed. Deciding it best, the she-cat held her gaze for a moment before slowly turning away, stepping lightly as a precaution as she headed towards the scent.

[ All i've got is Duskwater and Shadepaw in camp. Just to let you know. ]
Duskwater's ears pricked and he soon headed over to the voice of Hawkstar. An expectant stare came over his face as he gazed back to the leader atop the rock.
Shadepaw had already been sitting nearby and soon lifted himself to a closer spot, only to hear what Hawkstar had to say though. Nothing more.

Stonefleck scents the air for prey. He crouches down smelling a vole near by. Stonefleck slowly begins to move forward making sure to keep his paws silent.

Minkpaw followed behind Lilypaw, still smiling with excitement for the hunt. She could hear the faint sound of trickling water, and knew their must be a stream up ahead.
Spiderface emerged from his den at the sound of Hawkstar's summons.

Lilypaw gives a shy glance to Minkpaw before her ears had caught the sound of moving water as well. A stream? She thought, her mind searching for a moment before she caught sight of the water. Her expression brightened considerably at the appearance and she soon placed a dainty paw into the clear liquid. Oddly enough, the little apprentice did like water, quite a bit actually. Quickly enough though the apprentice stepped out, shaking her head in order to focus. At the moment they needed to hunt! "S-Sorry..." the she-cat apologized with a nervous tone before she continued. "T-there's a mouse.. u-up ahead." Added on the apprentice in an attempt to regain at the very least some control. Though she already knew Minkpaw had seen her already seen her kit-like incompetence.

Hawkstar cleared his throat. "As you have surely noticed, our clan is without a deputy... And I have made my decision. The next deputy of DarkClan shall be Stonefleck." he announced.

Minkpaw never noticed Lilypaw's slip-up, for she was also distracted by something. Her face, scrunched up at first, quickly melted into pure delight. "Frogs!" she exclaimed, probably a bit louder than she should have. She quickly ran past Lilypaw and crouched in front of the first toad she saw, simply staring at it's face.
Spiderface glanced around the camp for the newly appointed deputy, but couldn't see him.
