*INTRODUCTION

You walk through a dense forest, fog suffocating the air around you so that you couldn't see two pawsteps ahead of you. A booming voice is heard from somewhere above you, and you suddenly are squelched beneath a large figure. Someone calls out to them, "Off." And the figure is removed. Though you could hardly see, you can make out a small feline figure heading your way. "And, What is your business on DarkClan territory?" The tom hisses. Startled, you sputter out, "Umm... Dark-DarkClan ter-territory?" You remember what your friends told you of this Clan of cats. The most feared of them all. "Yes, are you looking to join? Or will Eaglefeather need to refresh your memory of our borders?" The tom that attacked you narrowed his eyes at you menacingly. "So, do you join?"

WARRIOR RULES

1)Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. 2)If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
3) Apprentices are forced to undergo a series of tasks as part of their warriors ceremony, including a hunting portion and a fighting portion. (See 'Ceremonies")
4)A kit must be at least five moons old to become an apprentice.
5)Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
6)The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
7)After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before sunrise the next day.
8)Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
9)The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
10) Anyone who disobeys or disrespects the current leader shall be killed or exiled.
11)warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.


Ceremonies
**Apprentice-Warrior**
In order for any apprentice to become a warrior, they must spend one day and night doing nothing but hunting for their clan. They mustn't eat anything they have caught, everything goes to their clan.
After the hunting portion is finished, the apprentice must fight their mentor until the leader tells them to stop, or until one is dead. if the apprentice survives, they earn their warrior name in this ceremony.
Leader: "I, [insert leader's name here] leader of [insert Clan name here], call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. [He/She] has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn."

"[insert apprentice's name here], do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Apprentice: "I do."

Leader: "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. [insert apprentice's name here], from this moment you will be known as [insert apprentice's new warrior name here]. StarClan honors your [insert two qualities of the warrior here (ex. bravery, strength, etc.)], and we welcome you as a full warrior of DarkClan."

**Kit-Apprentice** ~~The leader reserves the right to refuse apprenticeship to any kit he/she deems unworthy for any reason~~

Leader: "[insert kit's name here], from this moment on, you will be known as [insert kit's apprentice name here]."
"[insert the name of warrior who is to mentor the kit here], you are ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to [insert apprentice name here]."
"[insert the name of warrior who is to mentor the kit here], you have shown yourself to be a [insert two qualities of the warrior here (ex. brave, strong, etc.)] warrior. Do all that you can to pass on what you know down to [insert apprentice's name here]."

The following words are used if the previous deputy was driven from the Clan:

Leader: "I say these words before StarClan, that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice."

**Kit-Medicine Cat Apprentice**  ~~Joint-Mentorship~~ Both med-cat apprentices are mentored by the two Medicine Cats together~~
Medicine Cat: "Cats of DarkClan, it is time for me to take on an apprentice. Your next medicine cat will be [insert new medicine cat apprentice here]."

Leader: "[insert medicine cat apprentice here], do you accept the post of apprentice to [insert name of medicine cat here]?"

Medicine Cat Apprentice: "I do."

Leader: "Then at the half-moon, you must travel to CrystalCove to be accepted by StarClan before the other medicine cats. The good wishes of all Darkclan will go with you."

His points are a soft grey-brown, and the rest of his coat is perfectly white with a dusting of the same grey-brown on his scruff area. || Slightly sarcastic, Briarpaw is a witty tom with a knack for jokes. He can be overenthusiastic at times, but will quickly try and regain his composure to come off as more "mature". Robinmask|| Female|| 36 Moons|| Robinmask, like her brother, is a dark brown color, with no tabby markings. She has deep yellow eyes, not quite amber. She is lithe and small, but her frame is pretty muscular. || She is a bright she-cat, who is quite the opposite of her brother on opinions of emotions. Eaglefeather|| Male|| 36 Moons|| Eaglefeather is the outsider of the three as his pelt is a tan color and is very feathery, has little muscle but is not out-of-shape. His eyes are amber.|| He is the quiet one out of the three, and leans toward Hawkstar's opinions and actions rather than his sister's. he will do anything Hawkstar says no matter what. || No Kits/ Mate|| Siblings are Hawkstar and Robinmask.|| *Asexual* 


Foxheart || Male || 24 Moons || Foxheart is a large, long-haired, ginger tabby tom with a white chest and white socks. Despite his size, and the added volume of his fur, he manages not to appear bulky. There is a sleek quality to his build, all long legs and then frame. His eyes are a rich tone of burnt orange, like fire, and equal in their inviting warmth. Stretching from his left should and at a slant across his chest is a scar of three jagged slash-marks. He received it as an apprentice after a run-in with a fox. || Perhaps a bit like a fox, this tom can be rather sly and mischevious. Though loyal, he is ambitious and can be prone to jealousy of warriors who are stronger or faster than himself. Vixenfrost || She-cat || 27 moons || Light ginger fur with bit of red and orange mixed in. She has white spot on her chest and mouth. She has orange colored eyes. || Vixenfrost is spunky, outgoing and cunning. She often acts as if nothing ever bothers her. She is quick on her paws and likes to use her wits out outsmart a enemy. Runningstreak || Male || 33 moons || Mostly ginger and white tom with tabby markings. He has pale hazel eyes and muscular looking legs.|| Runningstreak is outgoing, somewhat patient and kind. He doesn't like to be in one place for too long. Runningstreak has a tendency to live life on the edge. Runningstreak seems to think nothing can really hurt him and that he can recover quickly. Thrushfeather|| She-cat || 27 Moons || She is a vibrant, average sized tabby with short fur and golden eyes. Her general coat is russet, but she has a white chest and darker points on her paws and tail. || Very playful, Thrushfeather is an outgoing and adventurous young warrior. She's very friendly and easy to get along with, and she makes it her job to befriend as much of the clan as possible. Silverdawn|| Female || 24 Moons || A slender but lithe silver she-cat with a lighter chest and lighter underside. Her paws are darker as are her ears and tail while her eyes are a striking amber. || A rather feisty she-cat that's generally quite spunky. She can be quite defensive about her views and prefers to do things alone. There are few she has respect for but she is very loyal and only wants the best for the clan. Twistedbreeze|| Male|| 25 Moons|| unusually large tom, looks like a lynx, well muscled and strong. his eyes are black, and he has tan markings around his eyes and nose. he has a large scar running down the left side of his face, and a torn right ear, from a dog fight. || rumor has it that he is descended from the group scourge led, long ago. was a loner before he came to the clan, his name being breeze when he first showed up. upon becoming a warrior, he has been called Twistedbreeze, due to the scar on his face and his loner name|| Social, but intimidating. very concerned with the clans well being and safety. adventurous, and a tough mentor, but loyal and has a hidden soft side|| None|| *Straight* (Apprentice Sparrowpaw)

Duskwater || Male || 40 Moons || A stocky, pale brown tom with long fur. His pelt is soft and shows faint lynx-point tabby markings. This toms eyes are a pale-muted green. || Generally a friendly and outgoing tom. Lilypaw|| Female || 9 Moons || A amber-eyed, small cream-furred tabby she-cat with a glossy pelt. She has four white socks and little speckles on her back side as well as having pure white ears. || A shy she-cat who often gets very embarrassed and flustered easily. Shadepaw|| Male || 9 Moons || A silver-creamy furred tom with bright blue eyes.
