((If we're doing blood and spittle as well then Silvernight would probably count since she helped carry the body and was there for the death))

(Well, I can go with a previous suggestion of having simply having contact with blood and spit being a lower roll. Like 1, 2, 3, 4 being clean and not 1-3.)

((Snailspots mentioned Thunderfang could've been scratched too, and there was DEFINITELY blood and spit with him so either of those for Thunderfang probablY? Also are we doing the day skip thing? I could write a few posts to get it started maybe, though it might be better if you or someone else that's higher ranking in the Clan did so I don't assume too much in my posts))

(Alright, so Thunderfang, Silvernight (with lower roll), Highstone (lower roll), Meadowlark, and Jayshadow, right? I'll do the rolls now.)

Reminder that a normal roll a 4, 5, or 6 is needed to be infected and with the lower roll, a 5 or 6 is needed. Thunderfang: Infected Meadowlark: Uneffected Lower Roll Silvernight: Uneffected Lower Roll Highstone: Infected Darknesque had it planned for Jayshadow to get the disease when we made up the plot so he gets it by default.

(Yes, about two days I think I'm going to make it. I detest large time skips (unless its years) so two days will be like a small factory reset for cats to know what happened, have their thoughts, start new little plots like how we had that hunting party, etc)

[[ AHHH MY BABY IS INFECTEDDDD. Eh, it's actually okay. I had the feeling it would turn out that way, and was even considering even just saying infect him, anyway. I joined with two females and one male and felt bad, and now I have Ruby, too. I can create more male characters, I don't mind. Would you want me to do so now? I'm still going to RP Thunderfang until death, though, I've never stuck with an RP long enough for a character to die, so I want this to happen. jeez im so evil sorry Thunderfang Poor Hawkpaw, though, wow. Both her mentor and brother are infected. Her and Tumblepaw have a lot of moping to do about how much their lives are gonna suck in the near future. ]]

[Yeah. I may just have Meadowlark get infected if thats okay. She was entirely obliterated and it would be a miracle if she didn't. I'm gonna miss Highstone though... I guess I should make some more charies... Should Meadowlark die? I don't know. Help me out here guys]

(-Still at college so I can only respond oc- If you want to make more characters, have at it, we have no character limit here after all. I think. I might make some more too. Nah don't reply Fog, make some new starters whenever you want or wait for mine, however you want. Also Sootpaw needs soem love but I can't tell you which to pick for that. And yeah, if you want a character to be infected that has been exposed, just tell us first and you can have it. )

[[ Dream, if you're attached to Highstone, maaaaaaybe Eris can let you switch so that Meadowlark is effected and Highstone isn't? That would also fix the gender issue, and make it so that not too many cats are infected at the same time if both of them were to have it. It might be considered unfair, though, since Highstone did roll fairly to be infected... I don't know.
Currently have two toms in the works. One is ready, but... I'm having a hard time with the other. xD
Happy belated, Fog! And sure, I wouldn't mind pairing Hawkpaw with Sootpaw. But she's about to have a really not okay time when her brother and her mentor both go crazy with rabies. I'm sure she could use someone to be nice to her, while she can help the poor kid be a bit more social. ]]

[Alright. I would prefer to keep highstone and lose Meadow then if thats okay and it helps balance things. Thanks so much You all! And we are starting a few days later am I correct? Let me know if anything in here doesn't fit in with your plans also please.]
Meadowlark's body ached, even with all her wounds patched and prodded to the best of Tumblepaw's ability. They stung and itched, and no matter how often she washed herself she still felt undeniably dirty, both mentally and physically. Nothing seemed to indicate the sickness, despite how she felt about it, and it seemed to stem most undeniably from the role she played in the she-cats execution. She still however new that in these times she must do her best to help her clan, and so ignored the pains that plagued her as she started to walk slowly away from camp and into the dismal forest looking for prey. The normally happy and quiet she-cat had never thought of the forest in such a negative aspect before, but she could feel it now, something dark brewing in the background.
Highstone had spent the days after the incident mostly with his thoughts and his paws set on finding prey, however today he found himself lost once more in thought and without a productive thing to do. The dirt where the tainted blood had soaked the ground had mostly lost its tint. He looked around camp for a companion with whom he could find comfort, his easy going nature still slightly perturbed by the weeks events. His eyes were dark and more broody than normal as he cleaned his coat with all the vigor he could manage, always keeping a watchful eye for friend, or patrol or apprentice.
Fawnpaw found herself in her normal routine. Keeping quietly to herself as she went over her training in her head. She had been going about her duties as normal, with little notice and a calm demeanor despite the awful mess of terror and horror and blood that had invaded their lives. It wasn't that she was unconcerned with the outcome and it's occurence in general, rather the opposite, but she saw it in the eyes of all those around her. Dwelling on a thing for which they had no control would not help them. Not now anyway. And so she seemed unemotional to many of the others who spent time around her.

--Firewhisker was already out of camp trying to hunt. Things had only gotten worse since their hunting patrol had brought back the rabbits, and not much else. After that day, it was obvious prey was needed more than most things. Deadly sickness could be spreading through the Clan thanks to Redwhisper, a warrior who had been loyal until something that could only be described as "evil" took over her mind. His own throat was still cut from the prey he'd caught, as was obvious when he spoke, but he felt obligated to contribute extra to the Clan. With so many warriors sporting wounds and holding the possibility of being infected over the Clan, he had to step up. He had to provide when others could not.
--Silvernight had gone back and forth between hovering over Brokenpaw and hovering over Thunderfang. The kit she'd brought to the Clan was upset over his role in the fight that had occurred, minimal as it was, and she had found a new protectiveness toward Thunderfang after they had shared things in their conversation. Brokenpaw's wounds were more psychological, an area she would normally have left to her sister had she been in the Clan, while Thunderfang's were physical. Her mind was often occupied at night over which was worse, and whether or not both toms would eventually be lost to the sickness.
--Moonkit still felt burning in her throat, but it could be from the bile that continuously rose from her stomach recently. She had prayed harder to StarClan than ever in her tiny life after Possumkit was returned safe, and she had never appreciated her adopted family more - much to Batkit's chagrin, probably. She had taken to not leaving the den due to fear of the blood stained outdoors coming with the risk of disease, due to the lingering feeling that bad things weren't over yet, and due to the fact that the wind would often slam into her as soon as she left the den, chilling her to the bone. Instead, she would stay curled near Icewing, or cling close to any of her adopted siblings that would let her.
--Brokenpaw had been feeling terrible since the sickness fiasco. He wasn't physically hurt, but since trying to Icewing and her kits had gone so far he'd been feeling out of place. He had no right to hold back the older cat like that, especially when one of the kits he'd wanted to protect was outside, and he was feeling the trouble deeply. An active mind needs active paws, though, so the tom had thrown himself into helping the Clan as much as possible. Just now he was venturing to the nursery, the first time he'd gone anywhere near it since what had happened with Redwhisper. Brokenpaw peered in cautiously, his fur already bristling and the unease probably tumbling off him in waves. He just wanted to change the bedding and make sure they were all okay, but that wasn't his place either. He began to back away dejectedly.

((Lets see....what to type.))
Dawnflame felt exhausted as she lay uncomfortably in a spare nest in the medicine cat den, barely awake but knowing someone would need her at some point in the day. Since Tumblepaw became her unofficial apprentice, she had had more work then ever between her Dreamcatcher duties, training him, and tending to what should be the medicine cats duties. After all, she couldn't just throw Tumblepaw head on into treating other cats alone. That would be irresponsible. It would take another moon or two for her to feel comfortable letting him do that. Which meant she would be bone tired until then. At least with Sootpaw out of the den and only coming to them when he needs something to calm himself and Braveleaf recovered from the fox incident, that was two less cats to worry about. She still had little Jadekit, of whom she was apparently the sole caregiver. The cats who had been involved in the...Redwhisper incident had been treated accordingly but she was worried infection could spread with everyone being weaker and hungrier than usual. Hopefully, that would be the last problem for a long while.
--
It felt odd for Sootpaw to wake up in the apprentice den after so long in a poppy induced fog in the medicine cats den. He felt the soft rise and fall of his sister at his side and relaxed just a bit, the terror of his nightmare fading as he focused on Tawnypaw. When he left camp for the first time a few days ago, it was out of panic and overwhelming feelings of claustrophobia. He had spent the day pacing at the edge of the forest with an intense focus that he lost only after hours of his self-assigned vigil. He still felt drawn to that place, that pit....but he just hadn't been able to make himself go back. Eventually he had decided to hunt and brought back a shrew but the pull towards the strange cavern had remained. Tonight, he would sneak back there and finally face what had been haunting since that night and, hopefully, he would get some answers.
--
Braveleaf grumbled sleepily to himself as he sat outside the warrior den, sweeping some snow away with his tail. His wound had finally healed, leaving a thick pink scar in its wake, and he was cleared for full warrior duty. The last few days of being mostly camp bound had made him restless but at least he had time to train Skullpaw now that he had discovered his soul power. For how delayed his training was, the younger tom was picking it up fairly well with the help of his soul mate. She may be younger but she had shown her soul powers nearly immediately at the beginning of her apprenticeship. It was her sparring that needed work....but he wasn't her mentor and it wasn't his place to critique her.
--
Pepperpaw had been jolted awake when Sootpaw had kicked her in his nightmare-induced flailing. She sneered at the tom who was now laying wide-eyed and motionless in his own nest before tucking her face under her tail to try and force herself back to sleep. The black she-cat had been training more than usual now that her soul mate had a power to work on. Between that and all the tension draining on everyone, she was tired and crabby. Between a fox attack, a dead medicine cat, and an illness crazed warrior being executed, it was a lot to handle. She had even snapped at Mousekit the other day because she was so high-strung. It was not her proudest moment. Why couldn't the clan just go back to normal?
--
Bluedusk sat near the meager fresh-kill pile and debated on whether she should grab something from it before going out on he dawn border patrol. She knew there was already a few early risers who had slipped out to hunt on their own instead of waiting for the morning hunting party. It made her feel guilty for even thinking about taking from the pile and, with a reluctant sigh, swept the snow off the few pieces of fresh-kill. She would wait. With a sulky shake of her pelt, the blue-gray she-cat made her way toward the camp entrance to see if anyone else would join or if she would be on her own.
--
Mousekit curled up in the middle of her siblings to absorb their warmth in chilly leaf-bare. her nose whistled softly as she slept, half congested from the cold that was beginning to develop from sudden icy weather. Being allowed to play in all that snow probably wasn't the best for the tiny she-cat. Being sick was making her miserable but she insisted on playing and going outside anyway, trying to hide her illness from her tired mother. She didn't want to be cooped up! She wanted to run and explore and spay on apprentice so she could try to train before her apprentice ceremony. She wanted to be a great warrior....maybe even the leader! Coincidentally, she was dreaming of just that. Mousestar, the cunning! Mousestar, the graceful!
--
Ridgefall felt old beyond his years as he rose from his nest, feeling the aching creak in his joints. With everything that had been happening around camp, he had been taking as many extra patrols as he could to substitute for injured or sick cats. Slowly, they were all recovering and several had returned to duty but the early leaf-bare meant more hunting patrols so he had no reprieve. The flat-faced tom was running himself ragged but he needed the clan to run as smoothly as possible. For both his own state of mind and Rabbitstar. There was discontent stirring around camp the last few weeks. First, Possumkit had been endangered by a fox. Then Fennelfur left camp at the urging of Rabbitstar and died, leaving an untrained apprentice and the Dreamcatcher as their only healers. Finally, he ordered the execution of a fellow warrior in the middle of camp when she hadn't done anything to deserve a severe punishment. Logically, Ridgefall knew that something had been wrong with Redwhisper but not everyone saw it that way. Some said they were too hasty or cruel. To try and combat these negative feelings toward his soul mate and how he was leading, Ridgefall was trying to keep the clan functioning as smoothly as possible.
