Oakwind shrugged his shoulders, giving his tail a quick wave. "I'm not outstandingly great, nor am I feeling like cornered prey." Oakwind grinned, liking the way he had worded his sentence. "But in other words, I guess we could say I'm doing okay!" He added, letting out a small chuckle as he spoke.

Lightningstar nodded. "I'm feeling pretty much the same as you are," she replied.
"Great job, Stormpaw," Riverheart told his apprentice as he leaped into the river and swam across to join everyone else on the other side.

Oakwind nodded, letting out a small purr. "The weather is nice today, isn't it? I like the way the clouds melt into each other, and the slight wind the ruffles my fur." He said happily, turning his green eyes to the sky as he spoke.

"Yes, and the clouds are white and spread far apart, so there probably won't be any rain," Lightningstar said, enjoying the feeling of the sun beating down on her black fur, warming it up slightly.

Oakwind nodded, waving his tail through the air as he enjoyed the sensation of the sun and wind against his pelt. He let out another awkward purr, not knowing what to do.

Lightningstar sat there for a few moments, enjoying the sun shining down and the wind in her fur. "Do you want to go hunting or something like that?" She asked Oakwind.

Oakwind felt his pelt grow warm when he thought of hunting in front of his leader, but he did his best to hide his discomfort. He nodded after a few moments, turning his eyes gaze back to his leader. "Where do you want to hunt?" He asked simply, pointing to the camp entrance with his tail.
Depending on ow this ends I may or may not have a new small ship.

( Same here XD )
"The apprentices are training at the River, so they've probably scared all the fish away," Lightningstar meowed with a slight purr of amusement. "How abut the Sunrise Field?"

( *Secretly draws fan art of the two of them* What if it some day become official? That would be int resting.)
Oakwind echoed her purr of amusement, painting a picture of the apprentices jumping around in the River in his mind. "That sounds good!" He answered, already starting to pad over to the camp entrance.

( Yeah, it would be. )
Lightningstar got up and followed him out of camp. She started walking but then broke into a run, glancing behind her to see if Oakwind was following.

Hello. Sorry for being poofy )
"Okay." she said before crouching. Her pupils narrowed as she eyed the pebble. The warrior's tri-colored tail flicked as she tensed. She spent more time getting ready to pounce, even adding a little wiggle. Really, she didn't know how this normally went. Her littermates would always run away, since she wasn't particularly good at running. She guessed she would make a show of jumping at the small kit and maybe add a roar. StarClan, she wished this came naturally.

Oakwind let out a small meow of excitement, charging after Lightingstar. Considering his strides were impressively long, it only took him a few moments to catch up to the she-cat. He let his tall fling about, not really paying attention to the fact that it could get tangled in his paws. After all, he was considering challenging his leader to a race.

Lightningstar moved her paws faster. Oakwind had longer legs than she did, but she was determined to get to the field first even though he hadn't said anything about a race.

Oakwind smirked, letting out a yowl of excitement and joy as he felt the thrill of the apparent race. His claws tore up grass and dirt while he bolted forward, some of the pieces accidentally flying in Lightingstar's direction. I'm going to win! I'm not good at many things, but a race is something I'm surely going to win.
I'm going to do something dramatic while he's running next post! *Feels sorry for my little Oakwind*

( Oh no... )
Lightningstar tried to run faster but was no match for Oakwind. She closed her eyes to avoid some dirt he had kicked in her direction. At this point, she knew she was going to lose, but she kept running anyway. Racing Oakwind was actually pretty fun.

Bramblepaw looked at Sparrowfeather, confused, until he noticed Stormpaw and Riverheart. He shrugged, unsure of what was going on. "What should we do now?" He asked his mentor.

"I think that sounds good," Riverheart said. "We should probably go further downstream, though. I think all the fish here got scared away."

Riverheart walked along the riverbank, looking into the river. He found a spot where he could see lots of fish darting around in the clear water. This is probably a good place, he thought, sitting down.
Emberpaw followed Riverheart. She walked next to Stormpaw. "Why are you so grumpy all the time?" She asked him.

Emberpaw sighed, a little annoyed that he didn't say anything. She sat down next to her brother and started to fish.
"Hey, Stormpaw, can you come here for a moment?" Riverheart asked. He was standing by a tree that was a short distance away from the other cats.

Scorchkit watched the warrior feeling rather amused by her display. Deciding it was time for more play, he snatched the pebble up and headed for the other side of camp, Timberkit raced after him

Riverheart watched his apprentice walk over to him. Well, at least he said sorry for stepping on Emberpaw's tail, he thought. "Stormpaw, is everything alright?" He asked. "You've been acting awfully irritable lately."

"Can you try to be nicer to everyone?" Riverheart asked him. "I thought something might be the matter and that was why you were acting like this, but even if that was the reason it's no excuse for your behaviour."
