"Well, we've been playing keep away." Scorchkit nudged the pebble in front of her. "Want to join in?"
Swifttail yawned and glanced around. He groomed his pelt down, even though he knew it wouldn't do much to keep the dirt out he could at least start the day clean.

Swifttail prodded Emberheart gently. "Still half asleep?" He teased.

Swifttail caught her paw in his mouth and nibbled it gently. He purred. "Come on, now. It was your choice to hunt at night."

Patchriver nodded. "Sounds good." She said despite her doubts. It sounded like a pretty rough game and she remembered how the kits had tumbled around when playing before. She sent a small prayer to StarClan that she wouldn't hurt any of the kits. "Who has the stone now?" She asked looking at the kits and not sure how to start.

Oakwind fluttered open his eyes, becoming aware of the cats around him. The sun shining through the den blinded him for a few moments, but after a few more his vision was corrected. His muscles still stung from the day before, as he had volunteered to hunt with the morning patrol. As you could imagine, he returned to camp with only a limp mouse swinging in his jaws. He heard the whispers of Emberheart and Swifttail on the other side of the den, so he turned his gaze towards the pair. The pair of cats hadn't noticed his awakening yet, but he suspected that wouldn't last long.

"Being excited isn't a bad thing," Riverheart said. "It'll help your apprentice be more excited and eager to learn."

( Emberpaw just swam across the river, so you could have Stormpaw swim across or have Sparrowfeather help Bramblepaw swim across. )

Ravenwing sat down by the medicine cat's den, licking her wet fur. Her chills had calmed down a bit, and whe decided it would be best if she groomed her fur down so she looked sleek. She sighed, still wondering what her sister was trying to do. Tawnypool blinked. "Really? You will?" She asked, tilting her head with excitement. "I-I'll probably more of the apprentice than my apprentice himself." Tawnypool added, sighing.

( Lórien I have Lightningstar open. ) Bramblepaw stepped into the water slowly. He got used to walking along the bottom of the river and started to walk quicker. Suddenly, the bottom of the river was gone, and Bramblepaw realized that he had forgotten to look for when the river got deeper. He thrashed his paws around wildly, being thrust above and below the surface.

"You keep doubting yourself. Trust me, Tawnypool, you'll be a great mentor," Riverheart assured her.

( Lórien Here's the starter. ) Lightningstar walked out of her den, blinking slightly at the sunlight, which was bright in contrast to the darkness of her den. She had just finished eating a mouse and looked around camp for something to do.

Oakwind twisted his head around, seeing his leader walking out of her den in the corner of his eye. Hm, I wonder if I should get my lazy tail up and try to socialize with someone in this clan. I haven't had a good conversion in a while... Oakwind rolled over lazily, stretching out his flexible limbs in the process. After a few more moments, he got onto his four paws, trotting over to Lightingstar.

Scorchkit passed it around. "It's just keep away from each other. So, I guess I have it now.."
Swifttail flicked his tail. "It always looks low to me."

Bramblepaw tried to calm down, but it was difficult. Come on, just close your eyes and focus. He took three deep breaths and his paws slowed down. He carried himself across the rest of the river and looked at Sparrowfeather. I hope I did okay.
Lightningstar looked up when she noticed another cat walking over to her. "Hello, Oakwind," she said.
"I'm sure she'll be fine," Riverheart said. "She's probably just a little cold."

Oakwind dipped his head in a respectful greeting, letting out a kind meow. "Hello, Lightingstar! How are you?" He pleasantly asked, tilting is head slightly to the right. He shuffled his paws slightly while he kept his gaze on his leader, worrying that he would embarrass himself.

Bramblepaw nodded, glad that his mentor was proud of him even if he didn't show it. He made a mental note to remember to look for when the water got deeper.
Riverheart looked at Stonepaw. "It's your turn," he said. "Remember to keep your paws moving and look for when the water starts to get deeper."
"I'm doing alright," Lightningstar said to Oakwind. "How about you?"

"I know, I'm not mouse-brained," Stormpaw snapped, stepping carefully into the water, a small hiss rising from his throat as his grey paws hit the water. Shaking his head, the elder apprentice trudged on, pausing for a moment when the river became deeper. The tom shuddered, remembering the moon when he had to swim in order to help heal his shoulder. He pushed forward, paddling carefully, letting out a screech as he swam right into a rather strong current, his head bobbing under momentarily before he struggled back up and paddled the rest of his way, paws suddenly finding solid ground. The tom scrambled his way out, looking a bit like a drowned rat.
