The fox screeched in pain and tried to vote Greywind. Moon slashed at the fox' s muzzle with her front paws.

(Is this still open for joining?) {{ Yes of course, your more than welcome to post your characters bios and I will accepted them when I get the chance. }} Pine watched as the other two cats in his patrol rushed forth to attack the fox that had a pair of cats treed. The russet tabby tom evaluated the situation quickly before launching into battle as well. The tom gave a fierce yowl as he jumped for the fox. His claws scraped across the foxes flank causing it to yipe and jump sideways. It wouldn't be long before the terrible creature realized that it was completely out numbered. "Foxes!", Cora exclaimed mildly now unsure about the territory. She gave Jagg a slightly worried look before looking back at Red. "We would appreciate a safe place to rest, at least until we figure out where we are going", she meowed on the behalf of both of them. Jagg just simply loomed behind her not much of a talker in the first place.

Red nodded, starting to trust them a bit. "Okay then. That's settled," he mewed, and glanced at Mist. "Do you think this is enough?" he asked, waving his tail to the herbs they had in wraps.

(Alright great! Tell me if I need to change anything.)
Name:: Raven Name When Clan Forms:: none (dies) Gender:: She-cat Age:: 23 moons Current Rank:: Rogue Wanted Rank:: none Description:: Raven is a lean and tall she-cat, with long and graceful legs. Her pelt is mostly black, but patches of white show through on her neck, muzzle, paws, underbelly, and tail. Her nose is a pale pink, and she has a white blaze that traces along her forehead. Raven has yellow-green eyes and a small scar that cuts across her muzzle. Personality:: Raven is extremely brash and rebellious, choosing to go against the flow just for the sake of aggravating others. However, she does not hate all other cats, in fact she can be quite hospitable to those she deems worthy. Raven is also quite blunt preferring to state her opinions even if they aren't going to please everyone. However, she has terrible charisma and is bad at getting people to like/side with her. Den Location:: Raven’s den is located in the heart of the Marshlands, near the western river’s crossing. It sits on a dry patch of land, and is mainly constructed out of reeds and other wetland plants. Mate/Crush:: Open. Other:: none
Name:: Russet Name When Clan Forms:: Russetshade Gender:: She-cat Age:: 34 moons Current Rank:: Rogue Wanted Rank:: Warrior Description:: Russet is a small and lean she-cat, composing of a skinny frame and short fur. Her pelt is a pale ginger and very faint tabby stripes decorate it. Small white patches are visible along her muzzle and one her chest. Her eyes are a yellow-green color and her nose is a dark pink. Personality:: Russet is a very outspoken she-cat. She's never afraid to say what she believes, even if it goes against what most people believe. Russetfoot is also a very hostile cat, never truly letting herself trust anyone. Nevertheless, Russet believes in helping out those in need especially the ill or wounded. As soon as these cats recover, she'll send them on their way, leaving her in the quite solitude she appreciates. Den Location:: Russet’s den is located on the northern tip of Sunningrocks, right where the river flows into Minnow Pond. It is made in the crevice between two larger rocks, and barely has room for two cats. Mate/Crush:: Open! Other:: none
Name:: Smokey Name When Clan Forms:: Smokewhisker Gender:: Tom Age:: 41 moons Current Rank:: Loner Wanted Rank:: Warrior Description:: Smokey is a small grey and white tom. He has unusual large paws and light yellow-green eyes. His pelt consists of mainly white color, but an over coat of Light grey covers half of his face and his back. He has a deep cut in his right ear from a recent scuffle. Personality:: Smokey prefers the silence of his life, and doesn't do well around other people. His shy, introverted behavior has led him to be drawn into many aggressive and unwanted sistuations. The tom would much rather prefer to talk problems out, instead of settling them with brute strength. Unfortunately, his ability to peacefully talk with others are about as good as his battle moves, which is to say, not very good. Den Location:: Smokey’s den is located deep in Tall Pines, very close to Nettle Hollow. It's made up of brambles and sits underneath a towering pine tree. Mate/Crush:: Open! Other:: Smokey was born in a shelter and became a kittypet at a young age. However, a fire soon burned his house to the ground and the tom let twolegplace and became a wandering loner.

Otter puttered around camp and tried to find good, warm, dry places to build some nests. He didn't mind this kind of work, it threw him back to his apprentice days in his last clan. He mewed something about going out to gather some supplies for the nests. He padded out of the entrance, all senses alert for any signs of a fox. He padded further in to the forest and gathered some moss, leaves, and pine needles. The faint scent of a fox wafted across his path as he was heading back to the hollow, but it was an old trail, maybe by a day or two. Otter's dark pelt shimmered in the patches of sunlight as he traveled across the wooded landscape.
[Where should I plop Freedom down at???]

Silver nodded and picked up as much as what they had collected and led the way back to the hollow. She was unsure of the new comers but they were all new to each other so it would just take some time to get used to. On her way back she noticed Otter out collecting bedding for the dens. The silver dappled she-cat gave him a friendly wave of her tail as she passed by. From what she had seen and the short time she had spent around the tom she felt fondly towards him.
Pine was able to dart out of the way just in time for the foxes jaws to snap shut on empty air. The russet tabby tom then darted forwards ramming into the fox knocking it off its paws. The fox flailed and terror filled its eyes as the cats attacking it piled on top. Pine gave a yowl of victory as he pounced on top clawing the fox fiercely. The fox cried out yelping and wailing as it struggled to free itself and run from the attacking cats.

Red smiled back before picking up his herb bundle. He waved his tail in Cora and Jagg's direction, motioning them to follow. He started to pad behind Siver and back to the hollow.

Lily was startled at the group of cats sudden appearance, but she was certainly thankful. She jumped to her feet and moved to scramble down from the tree. They needed help! She leapt to the ground and rushed toward the fox. Her shoulders stung painfully, reminding her of the last time she tried to fight with thi fox, but the other cats were fighting too. She leapt toward the side of its face and slashed mercilously at its jaws and ears.
Tiger growled lowly at the cat groups sudden appearance. He didn't like being approached by large groups of cats. For him, that was worse the being trapped in a tree by a fox. He didn't move a single paw when the she-cat dove from the tree to run, instead he glowered at the group with irritation and a disaproving looking flashing across his eyes. They were doing it all wrong. They seemed to be attacking it in all of its strong points. If they simplly would've attacked it in the blind spots immediatly, it would have run away by now.

Jagg stepped forwards first with weary eyes and quickly followed the red tom. He wanted to go first just in case it might be a trap. His thin yellow tail flicked sideways motioning for Cora to stay close so he could protect her if anything happened.
Cora watched as her brother went first motioning for her to stay close, and she managed to stay a tail-length behind the sandy colored tom as they traveled to a supposed safe hollow.
Pine managed to put in a final blow shredding the foxes face above the eye before it stumbled to its paws and scurried away yipping into the undergrowth. Panting the russet tabby tom watched as the fox came to its senses and left the attacking cats. Noticing that he had leaf litter in his pelt from the fight the tom gave his coat a quick shake and licked some of the dead leaves out his longer belly and tail fur. "Is everyone okay?", he asked then looking around to assess the situation.

Seeing Greywind act the way she did, Pine wanted to calm everyones nerves and stepped forwards in between the two cats. "We are all friends here", he meowed firmly wanting to make sure that no more fights broke out. Turning to the new she-cat and tom he spoke evenly, "I am Pine, this is Greywind and Moon. We were looking for other cats, to join forces with us. These foxes are too formidable to take on alone but together, as you must have just seen, we were able to stand up to the fox and drive it off." The russet tom looked from the tom to the she-cat curious as if they would join them. "There are others of us, and we have taken up residence inside the hollow just southwest of here. Its safe there, and the foxes can't get in and theres enough of us there so that they don't try and attack us. You both are welcome to join us", he meowed in a friendly tone.

Red continued to pad forward until they reached the hollow. He padded in, looking back to see if Jagg and Cora were still following them. "Welcome to the hollow," he welcomed them. he padded farther in, looking for a place where he could set his herbs down for later.

"Thank you", Cora meowed stepping evenly with Jagg as they padded into the clearing of the hollow. "Where would you like for us to make a nest to bed down at?", she asked curiously looking around the pine hollow. The place looked secure, could use some reinforcements in a couple of places but overall the hollow seemed very safe from the threats of the outside creatures and elements.

Lily watched the fox run off and jumped a bit at the she-cat's hiss. She turned toward the others as the male introduced himself. "Thank you so much!" Lily meowed happily, "And I'm Lily. It's so nice to see some other cats!" She mewed in a cheerful tone, looking at the three cats with a gleeful and friendly gaze. She glanced up at the tom who was moving to get out of the trees. "He's not the most friendly of cats." She said lowly to the other cats in a sort of whisper.
Tiger eyed the group from the tree and watched silently as introductions were made. He then moved to his feet and easy leapt from the tree. He looked at the group with narrowed eyes and stood completely still. He hated the thought of cat's moving to join together. He could fight alone better then he could fight in a group. But these cats clearly needed someone to tell them about foxes. They went about the attacks all wrong. At least in his opinion they did. And who else is supposed to tell them? But was living with this group of mouse-brains worth the sacrifice? He might have to think about that.

Lily turned to the other she-cat who she thought to be the one Pine introduced as Moon. Lily's tail swung contently, "It's nice to meet you too! How long has this gathering of cats been going on? I haven't heard of it before." She asked curiously, blinking her eyes with extreme interest.

He didn't want them to feel forced into joining them, but wanted them to know that they were welcome to join them at any time.

Otter dragged the bedding in to the hollow and dumped it near where he was going to build the nests. He went and picked up the few pieces that he had dropped and began putting together the nest. The large, muscular tom started by laying the pine needles down first,, to help creature a moisture barrier. Then he piled on the leaves-for a nice plush feel, and lastly, he plopped some moss on the top. He did this several times, before retreating back into the forest to gather more supplies.
(I'm trying to stay pretty vague about where he is putting the nests. Could I get a description of the future layout of the camp?)
Freedom snuck through the undergrowth, stalking after a large vole. She had felt that hunting was her best course of action, considering the surcumstances. As the vole stuck it's head down in the dirt and leaves to snuffle around, Freedom pounced and landed atop it. It squealed, but was cut off. Freedom swiftly offed the creature and padded to where she had left her other fresh-kill.

He flicked his tail towards it. "Right there, I believe," he mewed.

{{ @chasingfreedomsheart Of course. Warriors Den - Large juniper bush, closest den to the camps entrance. Ivy has tangled its way throughout the bush giving it more solid structure to protect everyone from the elements. Apprentices Den - Close to the warriors den along the edge of camp is a fallen pine where a cave-like den has been created between the upturned roots and the trunk of the tree. Behind it is the bramble wall and a couple of plants have grown up around it. Elders Den - Is located within the fallen pines branches. Has to be reinforced with moss and leaves but keeps dry and warm most of the time. Nursery - A large honeysuckle bush that is butted up against the bramble wall on the other side of the hollow towards the back. Big enough for multiple queens and their kits to live comfortably. Medicine Cats Den - Among the shelter of the tangled and upturned roots of the pine tree with a large bush on the other side to give it walls all the way around and shelter the exposed parts of the den. Leaders Den - Away from all the other dens but closest to the nursery is an old oak close to the bramble barrier. Within its gnarled roots it is hollow at the bottom perfect for three cats to fit in and possibly a forth if they were small. }}
Feeling the cold breeze pick up and the smell of rain heavy in the air the russet tabby tom looked to the skies. It was almost dusk but the clouds had began to darken the sky blocking out any last bit of sun light that was left. The storm would hit soon and it looked to be a nasty one. "Well decided what you will, we must get back to the hollow", Pine meowed lashing he feathery tail to indicate Moon and Greywind were the cats he was speaking about. "I don't wish to be caught out in this storm, lets head out", he meowed to the two she-cats and started to lead the way back to the hollow. It wouldn't bother him if either of the two new cats tagged along, heck he would prefer it, but he wasn't going to be pushy. The tom just simply didn't want to get wet, with the cold breeze gusting through the tall pines he knew that it would have cold rain and the temperature would drop more that it already had.
Reaching the hollow Silver looked around at the progress that had been made with the dens. The biggest one was a large juniper bush and she could tell it needed a little more reinforcing before this storm hit. "Good choice Red", she commented when Red spoke about the same bush that she was eyeing. "This storm is coming", she meowed flicking her til up to the sky, "Lets try and stuff up any holes before it hits so we can all stay warm and dry", she instructed.
"Sounds good to me", Cora meowed and looked to Jagg who nodded in agreement. The sandy tom was the first to move and he started to work on the outside of the den stuffing the holes full of moss and leaf-litter that surrounded them. Cora however went on the inside of the juniper bush and began to work on the roof of the soon to be den, she was then joined by Silver and together they worked on finishing up the den and possibly starting on another and finishing before the storm hit.

Lily perked up at Moon's reply. The other she-cay was friendly and she really was glad to have 'run into them'. She turned back to Pine as the russet tom spoke. Her gaze drifted to the sky. It did look like the weather was taking a turn for a storm. She glanced at the tom she had been with when the fox attacked. Despite his rude and sarcastic nature, she didn't want to leave him behind. He had saved her after all hadn't he? Even if he insisted it was for his own personal benefit. She stood up as the group of cats began leaving, she had a persistant urge to follow them. To be safe. But it appeared the tom wasn't moving. He was watching though. Perhaps she could talk to him.
Tiger, while a bit lost in his own thoughts, felt a steady gaze on him. He slowly turned until his met the gaze of the she-cat who seemed to be intent upon staring at him. What terrible manners. Did she think she could intimidate him? A flash of crude amusement flashed across his face and Tiger stared cooly back at her. Moving slowly and with obvious defiance, he sat down and curled his tail around his paws. Giving a silent challange, as if she could scare him into doing anything. Which he severly doubted.
