Cedar ;;
Similar interests, eh? "Interesting," he muttered, smirking inwardly at the other cat's discomfort. His ear twitched at the word 'Clans'. It sounded familiar, somehow. "Clans?" He inquired, still teasing but truly interested. "I've heard of them."

"Y-yeah, I-I thought so.." He mumbled. "If you'd, umm, like to see them... I suppose I could take you to the place we're sheltered at." He added, trying to speak up so he'd hear him, taking a moment to shyly look up at the tom.

Cedar ;;
The tom stiffened as the tom inched ever closer to him. Not as a threat, but in an uneasy, embarrassed way. "Um.. I guess. Sure," he mumbled, whiskers twitching furiously. "Let's get moving." Cedar wanted to get moving fast; he was somehow uncomfortable around the smaller cat. "What's your name?" He cursed at himself as he blurted. Fox dung. You're making the situation worse.

Freedom shrugged off the snow that had gathered on her pelt as she trudged through the barren woods. She had been snooping about for a while, but had been having little luck finding prey. All she had caught in the past few fox-lengths of time was a mouse. Her paws felt numb and she figured it was about time to head back into camp and warm back up. As she turned to head back to camp, mouse dangling from her jaw, she saw a flash of red fur flash in front of her. She blinked a couple of times, all senses suddenly on alert. She crouched and moved back the way she came. The scent of a fox floated across her path and she bolted, eyes filled with fear. She skidded back into camp quickly- almost bowling Otter over as she did. "Fox-- stalking--," She gasped. Luckily she had lost the hungry creature a ways back, having circled around several times. Her fur began to flatten as she realized that she was safe. She shook off her feeling of fear and dropped her fresh-kill on the small pile of snow covered prey.
Otter shot to his feet as Freedom came skidding into camp, fear wafting off of her in waves. She gasped out a couple of words about a fox and he turned all his senses to outside the camp entrance. He was on high alert, not unlike any other time. Otter was always ready for a fight.

{{ I apologize for my absence snowy your cat has been accepted. }}
Pine looked at the newcomer before him as noticed the others of the patrol join him. "You are fine. We are no threat to you. However this is our lands, from where do you hail from?", the russet tom questioned wanting to make sure the cat wasn't from Tangleclan coming to spy.
Silver was awakened by some sort of commotion and now with some rest from standing guard the she-cat rushed to the camp entrance. She found Freedom and Otter on high alert, "What is happening?", she asked curiously.

"S-Silk." He mewed quietly, leading him towards the direction of the camp. He wasn't sure if Pine would be okay with having a stranger with him, but he didn't want to risk much.

Freedom had finally regained her breath after the scare with the fox. Her minty gaze snapped to Silver as she emerged from the main den, questioning the goings-on in the camp. "I had a bit of a run in with a fox. I think I outran it, but it wasn't my calmest moment," the she-cat admitted, kicking herself for acting like such a kit in the face of danger.

Fall ;;
The grey-and-white she-cat's gaze flashed with an unknown emotion. "Not far from here. I just came here from afar. It's much different here than where I was," she replied, her voiced holding a wistful edge. "And you?" Fall's amber eyes flitted across the others, her eyes less guarded.

"A fox!", Silver gasped at Freedoms words. "There is a right to fear them, but we are stronger now... together", the she-cat meowed stepping forwards and sniffing the air for the foxes scent. Not scenting anything she quickly scraped her way up the closest pine to its first branch. From the height of her perch the silver dappled cat could see out of the hollow and into the forest. "I can see the forest from here. If the fox tries to come into the hollow we would be able to see if before hand if there is a sentry placed here", she meowed thinking of the safety of the group of cats. With leaf-bare here prey was scarce and a hungry fox was known to do many daring acts for just one scrap of food.

"I have been here for many moons, as well as my fellow comrades", Pine meowed. "However these lands are not safe to be in alone. There is many foxes on the prowl, foxes that we have not yet had the chance to rid our territory of. I do not wish ill on you, join our ranks and you can stand a chance of survival. With leaf-bare now here there is no where to go until the sun warms the earth again", Pine meowed giving the she-cat a chance to join them. Yes it was one more mouth to feed, but she seemed old enough to hunt on her own and strong enough to fight as well, this new cat would make a great addition to their growing ranks. "You do not need to answer now as to weather you wish to join us. But for now you are welcome to stay with us. We are currently a hunting party. Help us hunt for prey and you will get your share and a warm nest to stay in until you have made your decision."

Cedar ;;
"Silk. Weird." Cedar smirked as he followed the tom in the supposed direction of the group. "So, do you have a leader or something? Like a Clan?" He'd heard Clans have leaders to lead the Clan, so maybe the group had some sort of founder.

Greywind had to hold back an eye roll as Pine spoke. This tom was almost too nice, just letting in cats they barely knew without consoling the rest back at the "camp". As often as she compared it to her old clan life though, Greywind knew she much prefered this life. Clan life where she came from was more formerly structured but the bitter memories of it made the more relaxed, forgiving group they had started to form alot more appeling. The grey shecat relaxed her tense shoulders and fully sheather her claws, and tried to paste on a friendly face without making it look too over done. It was difficult trying to hold her features in a way she rarely did. (( i have literally spent most the day trying to come up with a background for Greywind ))

Lily pulled the large pile of moss across the camp, stopping at the hollow she stayed in. After searching for a few minutes, she mixed some mud in with the moss and then moved to the crack. She slowly began pushing the mass into the crack and when it was she covered the outside with mud and a few sticks. Lily looked at the rest of hte mos resting on the large oak leaf. With a twitch of her whiskers, she moved inside the hollow and began adding fresh, dry moss to the other's nests. When she was satisfied with the change and when she ran out of moss, she moved out of the den and looked around for something useful to do.
Tiger jumped to his feet, clearly startled at the sudden clamor by the entrance. He got to his feet and calmly made his way over, hearing fox tossed every in the conversation. He stopped near the group of cats, tilting his head. "Something wrong?" He asked calmly, but his eyes blinked curiously. There was probably a fox sighting and by the looks of Freedom, the she-cat had been the one to run into it.

( I am sooo sorry for not replying ;o; )
Fall ;;
Fall listened with interest to the tom's explanation. She shot a glance at the grey cat beside him, who looked untrusting of her and was now forcing a friendly face. She let out a sudden huff of amusement at the cat's expression, an ear flicking as she did so. "This sounds very interesting. I don't have an exciting life at the moment, and maybe, this might add an edge to my boring existence." She paused for a moment, looking around distractedly. "I'll join." She felt kind of silly from her over-dramatic tone, but shrugged it off. It was her way, her mother had told her once.
