Fall ;; Good heavens, the delicately-built she-cat thought as she continued her trek. If it gets any colder, I might become a living icicle! Fall twitched her whiskers as snowflakes landed on them. The temperature was dropping and so was the snow, already sticking and piling on the ground. It had come as a surprise to Fall; a marsh seemed like the least-likely place to have snow. Well, she mused, padding deeper into the woods, it must be cold enough. Suddenly she heard the whisper of paws. Her ears pricked straight and she froze faster than a snowflake. She slid into a nearby holly bush, peering through amber eyes at a group of four cats. Strange. She'd never seen so many cats (even though it wasn't many) together at once. Well, that was a lie, she had seen large masses of cats. But, being more of a loner, it still came as a surprise to see others together. She knew it was pointless hiding in the bush; they would most definitely smell her.

๐๐ถ๐ธ๐ฝ {{ There has been a time skip of two moons. The cats have become closer together and most have settled into the life of possible clan life. I have decided to designate Silk as the main medicine cat and Red as her apprentice. We can still RP it out but I would like Silk to start having visions from Starclan to unite the cats as a clan. }}
{{ My cats Jagg and Silver are both still in camp in the main den }}
Pine had just caught the scent of a starling when the scent of a stranger cat filled his scent glands. Calling out he gave a warning yowl to the yet of his patrol. Moving towards the stranger cats scent he called out, "Show yourself I know you are there", he meowed confidently.
Cora had just made a kill and held the mouse in her jaws when she heard Pines warning yowl and perked up. Curious as to what might be wrong the sce-cat quickly trotted to Pines location and found him calling out into the bushes. There must be another cat, Cora tried to sniff it out but the scent of mouse was too strong and that was all she was able to smell.

my cold is making me aggravated :'( )
Fall ;; Thoughts raced through Fall's mind faster than river water. Would she stay put, make a run for it, or reveal herself. By nature the she-cat was suspicious of others, and she didn't know if she could trust these cats. She scrutinized them a moment longer before making a decision. They didn't seem hostile... The grey-and-white she-cat slid out from the holly bush, amber eyes sparking with nervousness and curiosity. "Hiding was pointless," she meowed plaintively, her tail sweeping over the frosty ground. "My apologies for disturbing something." Her tone was friendly but heavily guarded, and her body was tensed all over.

sure! not being apart of the group of cats yet, Cedar will be outside camp.)
Cedar ;; Another snowflake landed on his muzzle. The brown-and-white tom's muzzle twitched in annoyance. The weather was only getting colder and colder, and the snow kept falling and falling. The tom had been perched up in a tree when a mound of freshly-fallen snow and decided to plop onto his sleeping body. Cedar nearly toppled off the tree limb before regaining balance and muttering curses at the snow. He never liked winter. When it snowed, the ground would slushier than ever and clumps of the white, cold powder would stick in his fur and he's have to clean it out with his tongue. Now, he was trekking through the forest, hoping to find some prey. He also disliked leaf-bare because prey was much more scarce. Catching two creatures in one hunt would be lucky. Today, the tom was not particularly in the best mood. Cold weather usually affected him this way, but a new scent in the air set him on-edge. It seemed to be an increasing number of cats moving into the forest. Every now-and-then Cedar would find fresh traces of the cats. He didn't know if they were friendly or not, that is what upset him.

Silk had recently been allowed to go out and about by Mist, who had deemed his earlier injuries fully healed. It'd only take his fur to grow back to cover most of the scars left by the foxes just moons before. The injuries had left him immobile in camp in Mist's den, and he found it quite boring and lonesome, especially while being so shy and quiet. The snow underneath his paws were a new sight for him - he hadn't been alive to see the stuff fall from the sky or trees or even see himself step on it. He thought it was nice. It was a nice change from the usual heat and humidity. Silk hadn't been expecting to scent another cat, however, and as he did, he felt himself panic. He shook, looking around and heading for a snow-covered bush, where he crouched and did his best to hide within. He hoped the other cat wouldn't notice, or was less experienced and wouldn't scent him. He gulped. He wished he'd stayed back in camp.

(Sorry I poofed again! Been a bit busy lately! I'll just post a starter for my cats for anyone to reply to)
Lily found herself awakened by a chilling breeze drifting through her pelt. She sighed and stretched out her front paws, holding back a yawn. Shaking out her fur and stood and looked about to find the source of the wind. Her bright eyes landed on the small, but long crack that ran along the side of the hollow. Lily's ears twitched a bit as another breeze came through the crack. She'd have to work on fixing it again. Lily turned and padded out of the hollow, shaking out her fur again. The moss had gotten stuck in her long fur and she was tempted to clean it out. But it'd have to wait. With a cheerful bounce in her step, she trotted toward the tree line to look for any beds of dry moss.
Tiger sat outside his hollow, having just finished cleaning himself, he looked around at the other cats simply. He'd slept wonderfully, better then he had any other day. He gave that to the proper nest, however there was a nagging in his head. He sleep was mostly benefit of the other cats, he didn't have to feel like he always needed to look over his shoulder. Tiger shook his head with a dissmissive twitch of his tail, he didn't need other cats. He was here because they needed him. Or so it seemed. Pushing himself to his feet he gazed over the camp. Serveral hollows had cracks, but they weren't large. Still, they were worth fixing.

Otter followed Lilly's movements with his bright amber eyes. He dipped his head slowly to her as she padded out of the nettle hollow and out into the forest. Otter shuffled his feet in the thin layer of snow that covered his paws. The cold wind ruffled his dense marbled fur.
Freedom grumbled as Lilly moved past her and out into the hollow. She blinked her minty green eyes open and stretched, before following Lilly out into the open. Freedom shook out her long ginger fur and yawned in the harsh light of the morning.
Ghost clawed his way down the tree that he was perched in; little pieces of bark falling below him. He leapt the last few tail-lengths down and his feet sank into the ever deepening snow. Ghost enjoyed leaf-bare quite a bit, seeing as it was the one season where he was almost invisible in the barren landscape. His white pelt meshed with the white powder that covered everything in the forest, making him a silent and invisible threat. He watched a pretty, blue eyed she-cat pad out of the entrance to the nettle hollow. His pale eyes followed her as she retreated into the forest.

Lily's looked at Otter, her whiskers twitching contently, "Goodmorning Otter." She mewed lightly with a small nod to him as she contiued forward. She looked at Freedom and gave another blissful greeting. "Your fur is looking splendid, you must tell me how you keep it so clean sometime." Lily mewed cheerfully. And although she was interested in how she kept her fur clean, as Lily's fur was hard to keep clean and she was willing to try almost anything, she wanted to fix the crack in the hollow. So with a polite dip of her head she moved to the edge of the forest. Her eyes scanned for any moss-beds and after spotting a good pile further into the woods. She shook out her fur and began trotting toward it.

sorry for a not-so-fast reply! ;w; )
Cedar ;;
The fresh scent of a tom-cat made the brown-and-white tom's fur stand on end. He froze, nose twitching, hackles raising. "Who's there," he hissed. He picked up the cat's fear scent as he stared around, catching a glimpse of fur between the leaves. "There's no point in hiding," he remarked, a bit less hostile. This cat did not seem threatening. He should not be the one to start a fight, even though how much his claws itched for one.

๐น๐ช๐ป๐ฝ๐ต๐ ๐ฌ๐ต๐ธ๐พ๐ญ๐ np! silk is lgbt btw aaa)
Silk whimpered as the tom caught his scent. He stood then, after he had acknowledged him, keeping his head low and his eyes on his paws. It wasn't rare to run into a stranger in the territory, especially when they weren't even a clan and hadn't established borders to keep others away. But he had neber seen Cedar before and he wasn't sure what to do. Attacking wasn't an option, Silk was small and most likely weaker and less experienced to take the intruding tom down himself. Perhaps he would mean good? Silk didn't know. "W-w-who are y-you?" He whispered fearfully, shyness in his tone as his eyes flicked up to look at the stranger.

Cedar ;;
The long-furred tom's fur prickled down his back, unsure of whether how he should view this cat. Smaller and most likely a bit weaker than the large tom, he was most-likely not a threat. Releasing a gusty sigh, the tom's tail swished in annoyance. "Name's Cedar." His pelt washed with unease at the shy gaze of the tom. Why was that? Pushing the thought away, he tensed again. "I'm not here to cause a fight. I'll be on my way." He tore his uneasy gaze from the other cat and turned tail, stepping back into the denser undergrowth.

"U-um... W-well, there's a... group of cats living here... if you'd like to join us?" He questioned softly, shrinking back a little even while he was standing up. His eyes left Cedar and instead rested on his own paws, still a little shy and nervous. "Y-you don't have to.. But I'm sure you're more than welcome to come and stay with us. It's a... s-small group of cats, I think, and they're very kind and f-friendly.."

Cedar ;;
The tom stopped mid-stride. A small group of cats living in the forest together... his assumptions had been surprisingly correct. He turned back, his eyes sparking interest. "A small group of cats... What do you even do, though?" He was not going to so easy on this cat; in fact he enjoyed teasing him. "Is it all: 'sharing is caring' and all that fox-dung?"

Silk stiffened before whimpering quietly. He didn't like the teasing nor the questioning and would much rather just show him to them, but he knew that it wouldn't be a great idea if he didn't want to see himself. "N-no... I don't know. W-w-we all have s-similar interests, so well, you see, w-we're just trying to get by together is all. K-kind of like a clan, yeah?"
