Silver noticed the young russet tom enter the hollow and to be polite and to make him feel welcome she scooted over and welcomed him over with a kind tail flick. She believed that it was important for all the cats who lived in the Marshlands to be apart of this. They all lived here and those foxes posed a danger to all of them equally.

Red blinked. He saw a silver she-cat approach him, looking friendly. Maybe these cats weren't as bad as he thought they were. He placed his small herb bundle in front of his paws. "Hello," he said as warmly as he could. He wasn't too comfortable with strange cats, but he hoped that he could possibly get to know them better. Right now, he was focused on the she-cat. "What's your name?" he asked her.

{{ I'm trying to get everyone to join together for the cats to drive out the foxes so if you want you can already have your character in the Hollow or just now coming in. }}
"I'm Silver. What do you think about the foxes overrunning the Marshlands?", the silver dapple she-cat asked curious as to the young toms opinion. This was a serious matter and she couldn't help but let it over run her mind at the moment. She had already been attacked by a fox and it was scary. That is something that she didn't ever want to happen again, the feeling of death being so close.

Mist took her spot by her brother, licking his forehead, to which he seemed to calm down to. Her tail curled, and she nodded curtly at the gathered cats, Silk nuzzling into his sisters fur. "I agree." She meowed, her voice loud but gentle, not wanting to stir up a fight between them. They were all, as far as she knew, strangers. "If we stand as one, I think we'd pose a force strong enough to chase off those mousebrained foxes." Her icy gaze shifted onto Pine, rising to her paws. "And I'm more than willing to help any cat injured because of it." Silk watched Mist speak, but he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable with the idea of grouping as one. He shook a little, deciding that if his sister thought it was a good idea, then he'd go for it too.
(Falconwing i think i'm going to just remove nightfall altogether and just make a different character; i dont know why im not clicking with her but whateverrrrr hehe ^^')

Falconwing Blurry walked and walked for countless hours looking for prey. The tom started sprinting as he saw a rabbit dashing in the woods. The young tom, stilled continued as he heard a commotion upon him. Distracted, but the sounds, BlurryFace stopped hunting. "Any cats here?", He called loudly to the group he assumed as cats. Blurry got closer and his big eyes examined the area.

{{ Sounds great! }}
Pine nodded to the pale grey she-cat who said that she agreed with him and would offer up her skills as a healer to those in need. "Thank you, if we are to battle the foxes as one I'm sure we will win but I'm sure we won't win unscathed. Your skills will be greatly appreciated." The tall russet tabby toms yellow-green eyes then moved up as a black-grey-and white tom made his way the hollow. "Yes! You are welcome to join us. We are talking about how we should get rid of the foxes together", he meowed in return welcoming tom to join them.

Mist nodded and turned her head to the new tom who had entered. She offered a smile towards Blurry, her ears perking and turning towards Pine again. "So, how shall we do this?" She meowed, "By far, I think this is the safest place in the forest, it'd definitely reduce the risk of any cats being killed..." She trailed off, her tail then curling around her paws.

[So sorry about my poofiness.. Needy family members and whatnot ] Otter sat quietly at the outer edge of the group. He listened to all the cats put in their input, all agreeing that joining together was their best option. "So like a clan," He stated bluntly, not really speaking to anyone in particular. He wasn't one to beat around the bush. He wasn't opposed to the idea, having been banished from his old clan, it would be nice to have a fresh start. Sure, the tom didn't play nice all the time, but he missed some aspects of his old life.
Freedom tried to catch Pine's eye as he stood in front of the rest of the cats. She nodded curtly at him, showing her support quietly. Her eyes burned with anger and passion, ready to be rid of the foxes that terrorized her land.

Falconwing"Foxes? Golly, I would be afraid of them rascals.", muttered Blurry as he got closer to the group of cats. Blurry sat down and blinked rapidly than normal as he heard the cats planning how to drive them out.

Pine was surprised when Otter finally spoke up. The older tom wasn't intentionally trying to form a clan, but right now it did seem like a very good option. Looking at Otter he nodded, "There is safety in numbers, that no one can deny. However, most of us are rouges and loners and prefer the solitary life. This would have to be a group decision, not just one cats.." The russet tom simply pointed out.
Hearing what was being discussed Silver chimed in, "Well if being apart of ... a clan, as you call it Otter, keeps my pelt from being shredded and my belly full then I am in." The silver dappled she-cat pretty much got along with everyone and actually preferred company rather than being alone so she was convinced.

"It's... it's kind of each cat's decision, actually." She meowed, "Whether or not they'd like to join us, I mean." She turned her gaze onto Silver and then back onto Pine, to which she nodded again. "Regardless, I think forming a clan is the best option."

Moon listened as the other cats described battle tactics. She thought in her own head how to get rid of foxes. Suddenly it hit her. "I have an idea!" She called out. The feminine padded forward and stood up tall.

(Omg i missed so much so quickly haha)
Greywind had been taking prey back to her den when she caught the distinctive musk of a fox on a downwind breeze. She had continued to the den cautiously, conscious that her own den was an old fox set and may be taken over now. The ex warrior dumped her catch behind a bush, deciding that the scent of fresh kill would only attract a fox to her.
She quietly padded around the sunning rocks so she could scout the area around her den to check for any unwanted guests. To her dismay 2 foxes were padding around the area, noses to the ground and stances stiff - it was unquestionable that they were picking up her scent. Greywind watched them and tried to think of a plan. One fox wouldn't be a problem for an experienced warrior like herself but two were another matter entirely. Unfortunately she hadnt noticed the sudden wind change untile5 it ruffled her long pelt. The foxes turned on the lone shecat immediately, charging her together. It was a matter of seconds before they were upon her giving the grey cat no chance at getting ahead start.
Greywind managed to effortlessly dodge the first foxes attack but couldn't quite avoid the others sharp swipe. She managed to turn her body just in time for the blow to land on her shoulder blades instead of her softer flank. Matching the foxes attack speed, the ex warrior slashed at both foxes before retreating hastily. Her back ached and blood oozed from the fresh cut but she pressed on deep into the pine forest. The area was littered with the scents of more foxes and other cats.
"I guess im I'm not the only one with an unwelcome vistiors!" she thought to herself.
The other cats were generally friendly in the marshland - well, at least more friendly than a fox - so she decided to follow their scent. Hesitantly she approched the thick patch of nettle, carefully following a path already trodden down by another cat. Before she entered the hollow she checked behind her for signs of the 2 foxes; they seemed to have given up chase for now.
Greywind padded into the hollow, eyeing the other cats with a suspicious glance, before sitting down amongst them silently.

"Welcome, I see you've come here to escape the foxes like the rest of us. We are currently discussing the best option possible", Pine meowed to the new she-cat, Greywind. Her long fur was ruffled and it looked as if she was panting from running possibly from the foxes. "You are welcome to join us and speak up if you have anything to say", the russet tabby tom meowed to her before turning to Moon. "Yes Moon, what is your idea?", he asked eager to see if it was a possible plan of action.

(Sorry, dinner and shower poof ) Moon cleared her throat and meowed, "We can attack as four patrols, one coming from each side. We'll be hidden in bushes, ferns, and trees. The fastest cats will lure the foxes to our positions with some freshly-caught prey, and make it appear as though it was moving itself. When the prey is in the middle of the attack zone, one patrol will attack them from the right and scare them into the claws of the patrol on the left, who will attack the foxes, the patrol to the north will attack then, and finally the patrol to the south. Surprise will be our element."

"Where will any... um, stationary cats stay?" Mist paused, glancing towards Silver and her brother, Silk. "Some are injured and I wouldn't want them heading out while they are. It'd be dangerous and not the wisest thing to do." She meowed, ears perked, letting Silk sleep next to her as she spoke to the strangers and tried to settle on a common goal. "Additionally, if we're going to attack, I'd want, well, herbs, just in case... these little bundles won't supply for long."

[Going to be extra poofy over the weekend. I have to go camping- meh. I'll try and get a post up at least once between tonight and Sunday evening, but no promises]
Otter sat and listened to the other cats toss ideas around. The large black and gray tom would go along with any plan that had merit. Not wanting to draw attention to himself, he staid quiet- he had said what he had wanted to say and didn't care to say much more. Whenever a cat spoke, his eyes locked on to them. Otter wasn't the best cat to have in a clan, but he was enjoying the feeling of togetherness that he had been missing since being banished from his prior clan. He didn't want to speak to boldly of clan life, for fear that someone would trudge up his past and he would be cast out again.
Freedom raised her voice and spoke, "Do we cave enough cats for a plan that ambitious, though," the she-cat questioned. "We would want AT LEAST 3 cats in each party- 3 to stay behind and watch over the injured, 3 in each party, and some for the distraction. It doesn't seem plausible unless more cats show up.." Freedom was as optimistic as the next cat, but she could see find little things to worry over, given the right circumstances.

{{ DimeStorePoet The foxes have been attacking all the cats in the Marshlands. So far most of them have gathered in the Nettle Hollow as it is the perfect sanctuary for the cats to get away from the foxes grasps. You can have your cats already in the hollow and chime into the conversation or you can have your cats outside the hollow and recruited to join the crusade against the foxes when a patrol goes out to find more cats to take down the foxes. }}
Silver was listening intently to what the other cats were saying and agreed with Freedom and Greywind. "I think before we attack we should have the chance to do some recon on the foxes, see if we can get more cats to join us, and stock up on healing herbs." The silver dappled she-cat gave a firm head nod to show that she strongly believed in this course of action. They would need to play this smart, not just use tooth and claw.
After hearing what everyone had to say Pine spoke up. "I love your idea Moon, however I do believe we do not have enough cats to that that course of action. Even if we were somehow able to get that many cats I think that it would be smarter to attack each fox individually with a strong force. But like you did say the element of surprise would be best. But Silver is right those are the thinks that we should focus on right now." The russet tabby tom then turned his head and looked at Mist. "We must make sure that everyone can be properly healed if injured. You are right about needing to stock up on supplies, but you might also need help if there is more than one injured cat. Is there anyone else here who knows anything about healing and herbs?", the tom asked looking around the thrall of cats that stood before him.
*cough* Kestrelfeather I know you wanted Red to possibly have a medicine cat position. Here is your chance ^^^ *cough*

"Silk would've helped in gathering, he knows a tad bit about herbs, but... he's hurt, so someone else would be really valuable." She meowed. "Regardless, any courrse of action is alright with me. I trust your judgments and I'll do my best in healing those injured."
Mist stiffebed a moment, looking away, up at the sky through the thick greenery hanging above. Perhaps they were all destined to meet and drive them out? It couldn't have been coincidence to just stumble all in the same place, but she felt deep down inside of her that there was some sort of reason behind it. Mist didn't linger on the thought, however, instead letting her mind wander elsewhere. Where would she gather herbs from instead? Who would help her in tending to those that were hurt? Would the foxes attack her while she searched for herbs to add to her supply pile? The grey she-cat sighed, her feathery tail swishing behind her small form before curling around her injured sibling.
"If we are going to attack the foxes... would it be smart to go out and gather herbs beforehand? In case of an emergency, I mean." Mist questioned, projecting her voice so that all cats could consider her concern. She knew it was a legitimate question, and she knew no life should ever be lost under her watch.
