She stiffened. "Sagestar, don't you think that there should be a patrol in the morning to make sure she isn't here? You know... Since she's leaving the clan." She suggested, eyes on her leader befroe looking at Dawnchaser.

"The last I seen her was in the undergrowth but there's not many places for her to hide".Dawnchaser lowered his head "She won't be able to get that far so a patrol in the morning sounds good" he added agreeing with Snowfall suggestion.

She nodded, dipping her head respectfully before turning to trot back into the warrior's den. She was exhausted from all that happened in the day, her cheek having stopped bleeding and dried up. Quietly, she curled in the far back of the den on her nest, slowly fallign asleep.

Dawnchaser sighed in relief when Sagestar announced they'll look in the morning for her.He hesitantly padded to the Warriors den but was quite nervous since he'll be sleeping close by Maggotfur.Hopefully the tom would move on and accept that his sister had a few loose screws in her head.

The very next morning, Snowfall was yet again the first awake. She sighed, not really wanting to get up, but knowing she had to. She rose to her paws, stretching her small form on her nest, then hopping off and heading outside. At hearing that she'd be leading, she nodded, looking over at the warriors assigned to her.

Dawnchaser groaned hearing his name."Out of the cats starclan why chose me" he whined as he sluggishly dragged himself out of the den.He stood there for a few moments halfway asleep.

Once the cats were gathered, Snowfall motioned for them to follow. She headed out of camp with them, her tail flicking. "If you catch her scent, let us know."

Dawnchaser followed behind the patrol a few mouse lengths.Keeping a good distance between himself and Maggotfur would be nice.He sniffed close by plants for any trace of Swiftdawn in attempt to catch a lead.

She noticed the tension between the two, but she paid no mind to it. She felt like it wasn't quite her business. Her eyes flicked over to Maggotfur. "You know her scent best. Why don't you lead us?" She asked.

She shrugged, deciding she'd slowly trot inside the barn. Curiously, she sniffed the air, catching the familiar scent. She wasn't able to pinpoint her exact location, however.

all of a sudden he heard squeaking kits "Hey give that back Wildkit!" one of the kits meowed "its was mine first Applekit!" Wildkit Squeked back while the otherctwo folowed their mother

She growled lowly at the sound of a voice, but her guard lowered as she realized they were merely kits. "Maggotfur? Dawnchaser?" She asked, unsure of what to do.

Dawnchaser relaxed once he heard the kits playing with each other.He was right behind Snowfall when she called out for them."I don't know what to say but try not to scare them" he murmured noting how the she-cat can come off unfriendly with her gaze.

Dawnchaser backed away just in case not wanting to make Swiftdawn uncomfortable.He patiently waited off to side for the she -cat's explanation.It was best to let Snowfall do most of the talking for the patrol.
