Intro You’re walking through a large pasture unsure of where you are. You could have sworn you took the right turn, but maybe you didn’t. Tall grass and weeds sway against you as the wind blows. You halt any movement though as a sent catches your attention. Frantically your eyes roam around you, trying to find the source of the smell. It got to be one of those wild cats everyone has warned you about. You think to yourself. Suddenly you get the feeling of eyes gazing out at you. Frightened you turn around, only to come face to face with a brown tom. You jump back letting out a startled cry. The tom’s amber eyes shine with amusement as he sits down. “I didn’t mean to frighten you; I was just chasing a rabbit when I noticed there was another scent in the field. You alone?” Slowly you stand up and nod your head. This tom is oddly cheery for having just found another cat in his territory. The grass behind him parts to show a tall muscular ginger tom step out. His green eyes study you with a calculated look. “Spottedbark, care to introduce your new friend?” The brown tom eyes gleam with excitement as he tells about tracking you for the last few yards and finally finding you. The ginger tom listens as his eyes never leave you. After some silence the tom gives a curt nod, “My name is Emberclaw, I am the deputy of Amethystclan, we are little in number. If you’d like, you may come back to our camp and try your paw at the life of a warrior.” Having nowhere else to go, you nod your head and pad after the two toms. (sorry it sucks ^-^')★♦RULES♦★ • Forum rules are my rules! • No cussing or cheating the sensors. • Be respectful and kind to others! • Put pancake in other to show you have read the rules. • Please no extreme details! • PLEASE try your best to be active. (Note: I am a college student, so I will try my best to be on a decent chunk of the week. However there may be times where I can't get on and there might be weekends I won't have internet access. I will be flexible if you provide reasons why you will need to be gone for a bit. I get that things come up.) • No god-modding or Mary-sues. I can’t stand it when people make their cats be 100% perfect. And please keep track of all your characters, I won’t make a limit but if it becomes needed I might consider it. Have fun ☀☽Territory☾☀ AmethystClan lives in a lush green forest with an abandoned twoleg pasture bordering the east side. Here rabbits can be found and hunted by the warriors who are fast enough to keep with them. Towards the edge is an old barn that has a caved in roof, here mice can be found. The forest is thick with many tall oaks growing with a few maple and walnut trees growing here and there. There is a clearing that holds the tallest oak tree, here is where the mentors take their apprentices to train and they teach them to climb using the tall oak, which is named Sky Oak. A stream runs through the forest providing a great water source for the clan. Healing Meadow is a clearing where many different herbs grow. Close by is a hole in the ground with a tunnel that leads to an open cave with a pool of water in the center and a stone of amethyst ascending from the clear water, this is call Star Cave and where the medicine cat(s) go to talk to Starclan. ☁☔Camp☔☁ The camp is in the middle of the territory where there aren’t as many trees but a lot of bushes. The leader’s den is in a thick oak tree that’s base has been hollowed out. The leader makes announcements from a branch that is low and in jumping distance. The medicine cat’s den is a burrow under a bush that opens up big enough for storage and four cats. The warriors’ den is a large hollow fallen tree. The nursery is a burrow next to the medicine cat’s den. The elders’ den is a clump of bushes next to the warriors’ den. ∞ Allegiance ∞ ★LEADER★ ∫Sagestar ∫ Tom∫ Leader∫ frosty∫ 43 moons old∫ ∫ Sagestar is a black muzzled ragdoll with long fur and blue eyes, dislikes water and getting his fur wet he mentored Sandwish has no family currently alive, hates to admit being wrong often reluctant to take orders or advice from others, the cat he most respects is his deputy Emberclaw, his favorite prey is thrush∫ ✫DEAPUTY✫ ∫ Emberclaw ∫ Tom ∫ Deputy ∫ breezecloud ∫∫ Emberclaw is a tall muscular tom with a pale golden ginger medium length coat with dark ginger tabby stripes along his flanks, back, and up his tail. His front right paw is a white sock while his back left toes are white as well as his muzzle. The tips of his ears are black and each ear has a notch missing from it. His eyes are a cool relaxed deep green. His left shoulder has three scars running down it from a fight he had as an apprentice. While this deputy may look like he'd rip a cat's pelt off for looking at him, he is really the opposite of his appearance. He is pretty level headed and likes to think things through before he acts. While he still likes to have fun and remembers how to cause trouble from his apprentice days, he prefers to just listen and observe his clan in a relaxed manner. His calm personality sometimes makes his clan mates forget that he is one of the best fighters they have, he learned quicker than any cat would have guessed while he was an apprentice. Some cats would use this to their advantage, but Emberclaw knows he only needs to use his fighting for when the time truly calls for it. While he does seem like a stern senior warrior, he is just as happy to go roughhouse with the apprentices or give the occasional off limits tour to a group of kits. ∫ ♠ MEDICINE CAT ♠ ∫ Breezecloud ∫ She-cat ∫ Medicine cat ∫ breezecloud ∫ ∫ A small medium furred brown she-cat with black classic tabby stipes and swirls on her body and black tabby stripes on her cheeks. Her tail is fluffy with black stripes going up it and a black tail tip. Her belly, chest, front paws, and back toes are white as is her muzzle but her chin is black. Her eyes are a medium blue with lighter blue around the pupal. She has a scar above her right eye from play fighting as a kit and two scars on her right front leg from a dog bite. Breezecloud can be shy and a little socially awkward around cats she doesn't know very well, but once she is your friend she is the complete opposite. She can be talkative and goofy as well as a little random and strange. Hunting is her favorite thing to do and whenever she has free time she likes to walk around the forest enjoying the scenes and weather. Her main flaw however is she does have a temper and can be very stubborn when she wants to be. She is caring and loyal to her friends and loves to spend time with younger cats, especially kits. Troutsplash is an lithe Tortoiseshell she-cat with pale green eyes that gleam with wisdom.Due to her body build agility is her main advantage in hunting.Troutsplash is known to be considerate and open-minded.Over time experience has lead her to display good leadership skills.Troutsplash has maternal instinct when it comes to her clan mates.Her coat smells heavily of mint in attempt to cover up her scent.However the smell of fish can be faintly detected on her pelt.
♦WARRIORS♦ ∫ Spottedbark ∫ Tom ∫ Warrior ∫ breezecloud ∫∫ brown tom with black tabby spots on his body and black tabby stripes going up his tail ending with his tail tip being black. The toes on each paw are white while his eyes are a medium clear amber. While Spottedbark clearly has his warrior name, he seems to have forgotten. His personality is the same as you'd expect an apprentice's to be. He seems to have a problem with just sitting around for a long amount of time and likes to try and goof off whenever he can. It seems he will always be an apprentice at heart. While he does like to have his fun, he knows when to be serious and follow the leader's words when he is told to. He is loyal to his clan and likes to think of each clanmate as a unique friend. Seeing as how hyper he is he is often put on patrol in hopes of using his energy up before he has to return to camp. He likes to spend any spare time he can climbing trees and jumping around the branches. He often times drives his sister insane but none the less they have that sibling bond that keeps them close. He and Emberclaw have had a close friendship ever since both lived in the nursery, which may be why the slightly older cat has yet to box his younger friend’s ears in. Though Emberclaw wont shy away from reminding his friend when he needs to act his age and rank. ∫ ∫Snowfall ∫ female∫ warrior∫ foxtrots∫ ∫ Snowfall is a pure white she-cat with icy blue eyes. She's somewhat small and her eyes are her most striking feature, even if they make her seem cold and distant. Her fur is thick, almost as if she was made to live in cooler climates, and her tail is rather long and feathery to provide warmth. Her nose, pawpads, and inner ears are a rosy pink. A scar is seen just above her nose and another across her left cheek. Snowfall, unlike most might want to believe, is a soft-spoken and caring feline, in addition to being stubborn, determined, feisty, and sassy at times. Her voice is gentle and melodious, soothing, even. Although she means good, sometimes Snowfall will put her life at risk to protect others. To add on, she's often found not trusting others easily, obsesses over things, is gullible to an extent, and is very indecisive over certain topics. ∫ ∫Frostbite∫ female∫ warrior∫ 22 moons∫ foxtrots∫ ∫ Frostbite, like her sister Snowfall, is a white she-cat with icy blue eyes. However, unlike Snowfall, she has small gray flecks across her back and near the corners of her eyes. In addition, her tail is a jet black, the color stretching a little ways up her spine. Some of her toes are covered in smaller, lighter flecks as well. Her icy eyes caused for her mother to give her the prefix of frost, and the warrior name was chosen due to the resemblance of her pelt to one afflicted with frostbite. She bears a few small scars, like Snowfall, across her nose, but she also has a few scattered over her flank. She seems to be the complete opposite of her sister. She's reserved, quiet, has a bad temper, tends to give cold stares, is analytical, judgmental (although silently), and stern. Often, she's thought to have a chilled heart, but that isn't the case once you know her well. Warrior Code 1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. 2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory. 3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating. 4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life. 5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. 6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. 7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice. 8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled. 9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh. 10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time. 11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats. 12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan. 13. The word of the Clan Leader is law. 14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense. 15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet. Medicine Cat Code: 1) Medicine Cats are allowed to cross territories. 2) Medicine Cats can't have a mate, or kits. 3) Medicine Cats may cross territories to help another Clan. 4) Medicine Cats must learn battle moves. 5) Medicine Cats must do everything they can to help a cat or kit in need. |

Med cat herb list 1. Borage Leaves are blue and pink star shaped flowers with hairy leaves. They are chewed and eaten. Borage increases milk in queens and brings down fevers. 2. Burdock Root is a tall-stemmed, sharp-smelling thistle with dark leaves. It is applied to bites and cures infection. 3. Catmint is a delicious-smelling, leafy plant, found in Twoleg gardens. It is eaten and is a remedy for Greencough. 4. Chervil is a sweet-smelling plant with large fernlike leaves and small white flowers. Its leaves can be applied to wounds. The roots are generally chewed and eaten. The leaves cure infection and roots helps bellyache. 5. Cobweb are well, cobwebs. You wrap them around a injury to stop the bleeding. 6. Coltsfoot is a flowering plant that looks like a dandelion with yellow or white flowers. It is chewed into pulp and eaten. It helps shortness of breath. 7. Comfrey are large leaves and small bell-shaped flowers, which can be pink, white, or purple. The roots are chewed into poultice which soothes wounds or mends broken bones. 8. Deathberries are small red berries. If eaten they will kill a cat *DONT USE* 9. Dock is similar to sorrel. The leaves are chewed up and applied. It soothes scratches. 10. Dried Oak leaf is collected in autumn. It is brown with five points and applied to wounds to stop infections. 11. Feverfew is a small bush with flowers like daisies. The leaves are eaten. It cools down body temperatures for cats with a fever or chills. 12. Goldenrod is a tall plant with yellow flowers. It is chewed into poultice and applied to wounds to heal them. 13. Honey is a sweet, golden liquid. It is swallowed. It is used for soothing the throats of cats who breathed smoke. 14. Horsetail is a tall plant with bristly stems. It is chewed and applied to wounds as a poultice. It is used for treating infected wounds. 15. Juniper Berries are bushes with spiky dark green leaves and purple berries. They are eaten and soothe bellyache and helps cats who are having trouble breathing. 16. Lavender is small purple flowering plants. When eaten they cure fevers. 17. Marigold is a bright orange or yellow flower that grows low to the ground. Its petals or leaves are chewed into pulp and applied to wounds to stop infection. 18. Mouse Bile is a bad-smelling liquid. It is dabbed in moss soaked in bile on a tick. It is used to remove ticks. 19. Poppy Seeds are small black seeds shaken from the head of a dried poppy flower. They are eaten to soothe shock and distress and eases pain. 20. Stinging Nettle are spiny green seeds that are eaten or applied to wounds. They are eaten to dispel poison and applied to bring down swelling. 21. Tansy is a strong-smelling plant with round yellow flowers. It is eaten in small doses and cures cough. 22. Thyme are small dusky green leaves on a brittle stem. They are eaten to calm anxiety and frayed nerves. 23. Watermint is a leafy green plant found in watery places. It is chewed into pulp and eaten. It helps bellyache. 24. Wild garlic is a strong, green-stemmed plant with no leaves. If a cat rolls in it, it prevents infections. 25. Yarrow is a flowering plant. Its leaves are made into poultice and applied to wounds. Yarrow expels poison from scratches or wounds, if swallowed, will make a cat vomit however. |

Battle Moves 1. Back Kick - Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws. 2. Belly Rake - A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws against the soft flesh of the opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back into control. 3. Front Paw Blow - Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed. 4. Front Paw Strike/Forepaw Slash - Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent. 5. Killing Bite - A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort. 6. Leap-and-hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed. 7. Partner Fighting - Warriors who have trained and fought together will often fall instinctively into a defensive position, each protecting each other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers. 8. Play Dead - Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes his/her grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in attacking position. 9. Scruff Shake - Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponents neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them. 10. Tail Yank - Grab your opponent's tail and yank it with such force your opponent is thrown off balance. 11. Teeth Grip - Target your opponent's extremities- the legs, tail, scruff or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight. 12. Upright Lock - Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip him under you. This makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so it takes great strength and speed. 13. Half-Turn Belly Rake - Turn onto your side, slip under the opponent's belly, rake it with your claws, then swiftly turn back onto all fours out from under your opponent. 14. Badger Defense: Leap over opponent, turn on your back legs and bite opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers. 15. Duck and Twist: Simple defensive move. The cat ducks then twists around, rolling over onto his/her back, and then springs to their paws. 16. Jump and pin: Complicated move. Leap backwards, and bounce off the wall. With precise accuracy, land on the cat. Hunting Techniques: Hunter's Crouch - Keep your body low with your tail sticking straight ahead. Hind legs must be ready to leap and front paws must be ready to pounce. Is also a good fighting techinique. Fishing Catch - When fishing in a lake or river.keep your reflection away from the water. When the fish comes, quickly hook your paw into the water and scoop the fish onto the surface. Finish it off with a quick killing bit. Squirrel Race - When the squirrel runs up a tree to escape, you quickly run up the trunk beside the squirrel until your fast enough to block it to the top of the tree. You chase it down next and hopefully catch it. Very complicated technique. Bird Leap - When the bird is aware that it is being hunted and begins to fly up, you leap as high as you can and bat the bird back down. Recommended for older apprentices to learn. Mouse Stalker - Keep your pawsteps light on the ground and try to slide them so the mouse won't feel your pawsteps. |

Early in the morning, just before the break of dawn, a white form emerged from the warrior's den. She was hungry, as she usually was when she rose each morning, and she quietly padded to the fresh-kill pile. Her eyes darted to the leader's den a moment, and then to scan across the camp for any other movements before she lowered her head to pick a meaty rabbit from the pile. Carefully taking it in between her teeth, she settled for a spot by some greenery, laying on her stomach as she began to eat in silence. Snowfall sighed quietly. She hoped someone would wake up soon. She wanted some company.

Emberclaw's head rose off his paws as the last bit of sleep began to fade. Sighing just lightly he got up and stretched, satisfied at the feeling of the muscles loosen. He shook out his fur then looked around at the nest near by. The twins laid silently sleeping with each others tail across the others back. One nest he notice was empty, signaling another cat was awake. He padded out of the den and looked over the camp. Everything was silent and peaceful, just how he liked it. White caught his attention as his eye landed on Snowfall. Shaking his fur out once more, he started towards the early riser.

Hearing paws meet the ground, Snowfall's head turned towards the deputy. She hadn't been expecting him to be up so early, with all the responsibilities he probably had, but she sat up a little and dipped her head respectfully. "I wasn't expecting you to be up so early, Emberclaw." She mewed softly, her icy gaze fixed on him before turning back to the prey, returning to her original position. After a moment of silence, she spoke again after swallowing her last bite and digging the remains, trying to strike a conversation. "How has it been?"

Emberclaw gave a soft nod in greeting, his fur feeling a little hot as he still wasn't use to cats giving him authoritative respect. "It's been going good lately. Patrol formation has been smooth and little has disrupted the flow of the clan. Though between you and me, its been a paw full trying to get it all organized." the tom admits with a bit of an uneasy chuckle.

She let out an amused purr, sitting back up with her tail curled around her paws. "I'm glad it's going good, then. Personally, I don't think I'd be able to handle that much... work, or the stress that may come with it." She sighed, offering a friendly smile. "On a different note, being an early bird has its downsides. There's never anyone else up!" At that, Snowfall groaned in a joking manner, hating the fact that she'd have to spend most mornings alone, or kind of alone. Regardless, she usually was one of the first awake.

Emberclaw glanced back at the warrior den with an amused smile, "Yeah I can understand how it can be a drag. I usually try to wake up so I'll have time to plan ahead, but my nest is just so inviting. Though I guess being deputy I need to start taking on the responsibility. Maybe you could teach me your trick."

"Oh, well I guess that can't really be taught then. Patrol would be great, I need movement to wake up, and it's still cool out so it'll be comfortable." Emberclaw meowed as he flexed his claws a little, eager to feel the forest floor beneath his pads.

She nodded, standing and stretching a little before she began to slowly trot out of camp, glancing back at the deputy to make sure he was following. Once out, Snowfall sighed, a smile spreading across her lips as she smelled the air. It was fresh, and she wasn't surprised with all the trees nearby. A few dry leaves crunched under her paws, a familiar noise that the she-cat missed. "Lead the way, then?" She asked quietly, halting her movement and waiting for him.

Taking a refreshing breath, the tom felt himself relax a little once he stepped into the forest. He heard the leaves crunch and made a mental note to begin thinking about what to do once the leaves began to change. He nodded to the she-cat as he stepped just a little ahead of her, "I thought we'd head towards the pasture, check there to see how the rabbit trails are running, then we can go towards the old barn and check to make sure no one has tried to make it a home."

"Sounds like a plan." She meowed in response, different scents filling her nose. She almost felt her mouth water as she caught the scent of a rabbit, but she wasn't on a hunting patrol. Her eyes scanned the srroundings, just in case anything or anyone did try to intrude into their territory, and as she realized it was just the two of them so far, she lowered her guard

Emberclaw kept only a step ahead of the she-cat, he ears perked and listening. He opened his mouth just slightly so he could get a better scent. Rabbit filled his nose reminding him he needs to get a hunting patrol organized. The scent of grass, weeds, leaves and trees filled his senses next, offering comfort in their own way. His eyes remained focus as they scanned the land around them.

Sandpaw was waiting for the hunting patrol to get back, she had been stuck at camp with an injured leg with no medicine cat all she could do was hope for it to heal in time for her warrior assessment, seeing that spotted bark was still at camp she asked if he knew anything about mending legs "will it ever get better?" she asked she wouldn't be able to live with herself if she was unable to become a warrior “I should of never climbed that tree “she mumbled to herself finally deciding to go to sleep. |

Spottedbark sat outside the warriors den having woken up recently. He felt a pang of sympathy at seeing how irritated Sandpaw was with her leg being injured. "I'm sure it will heal just fine, Emberclaw said it didn't feel broken when he gave it a look that day. Just have to give it time." he meowed to the younger she-cat.

Sandpaw scoffed clearly not believing what Spottedbark said, Emberclaw’s patrols taking ages she thought don’t know why Sagestar has so much faith in him, seeing Spottedbark looking the other way see thought spoiling this golden opportunity would be wrong, Sagestar won’t mind if I bring him a thrush or two he’s to much of a deep sleeper to care what I do while his napping, thinking that she is a genius she padded out of camp sniffing for prey, almost instantly he caught the scent of crows gather at crow food [rotten body of a vole] the crow food might be gross but the crows are tasty stalking the flock intently she got ready to leap at them. her injured leg weighing her down she only managed to scoop off the ground, despite her tight grip it kept pecking he back with pain searing her back she bit down on its belly not its neck waiting for it do go limp, turns out it was a long wait longer than if she had gotten the neck, satisfied with her messy kill she sneaked back to camp, Spottedbark would be expecting to see Emberclaw returning not me wait till he sees the surprise! She thought.

Her eyes stopped at some flowers a moment, distracted and mesmerized by them, before she looked elsewhere, keeping herself alert for anything out of the ordinary within AmethystClan territory. In the near distance, the she-cat could faintly make out the pasture, and she eagerly picked up her pace. As of yet, she had not picked up any foreign scents, but she hoped that Emberclaw would alert her if anything strange was around.
