She eventually woke up, finding that the den was nearly empty from her long day's rest. She quickly realized that the deputy, Emberclaw, was up and out of his nest. In playful frustration, she trotted out of the den and bounded towards the tom, playfully nudging him. "Finally up early, eh?" She purred, grinning a little. "What an achievement!"

Emberclaw purred at the she-cats teasing, "Yeah, it wasn't easy. I guess you could say Spottedbark gave me.. a nudge, in the right direction to get up. Plus I hadn't realized just how hungry I was until I came out here."

"A nudge?" She chuckled, picking out a vole from the pile. She glanced at him before beginning to eat quietly a moment. "So it wasn't you that got up! Someone else had to help you. That's cheating, Emberclaw!" She meowed after she had taken a bite.

The tom gave the best innocent face he could give, "Nah, it totally counts. His constant side kicks weren't assistance.. more.. an annoyance." The tom took another bit out of his vole, enjoying the taste and the feeling of his stomach filling. It was a nice morning, the sun was bright ready to light the day. Though you could feel that small drop in temperature, not enough to make a difference but enough to let you know what season it was nearing.

"No, it was definitely cheating." She said with a small giggle, her tail tip twitching. "We both know I'm the better one at waking up early here." She added on, the playful tone still laced into her gentle voice, "In my defense, I was exhausted from all that happened the other day."

Emberclaw finished his vole before responding. "Yeah yeah, but I'm telling you I shall master the art and then one day you might have that title removed. And the past few days have been.. interesting to say the least. The clan sure has been turned upside down for a bit."

The ginger tom gave a playful bat at the she-cat's tail, "I feel this shall be an frequent occurrence, trying to win the title." The tom buried his finished vole then sat up. "I hope we get this all figured out"

Sagestar padded out of his den ready to announce what would happen with Shortwhisker he saw Wildkit chewing on Frostbites tail "It is true he is my kin" he said ashamed he didnt know his brother Mittens had kits "he will leave at dusk but Swiftdawn and the kits will stay here!" he meowed going back to his nest and finishing his nap {Going to make a extended backstory for Sagestar when i get home}

[Sagestars Past....]
"Finally the our Housefolk are letting us outside" Mitten's Meowed with exited he pushed his brother Sage out of the way "Hey don't push me!" Sage yowled running outside "wow so many smells" Mittens meowed coming back to his mother Bella "Dont worry you'll get used to it" he heard a cat meow from the fence of the Housefolk nest "Fluffy its good too see you again did your twolegs give you extra food?" she asked "Nah a stole that mangy dogs food" Fluffy replied jumping down from the fence and landing on the soft grass "So you're first time out with your kits is it?" Fluffy asked looking at Sage and Mittens "oh yes our twolegs just let us..." her mew was cut of by a Twoleg yowling "oh that's my Housefolk better get back don't wanna worry him see ya soon Bella" he mewed leaping on the fence once again "come on Kits don't want to catch up with fluffy again later without catching whitecough" about to ague to his mother that he had thick fur and Mittens didn't when he heard the Housefolk bring out the food his favorite tuna rushing into the nest he gulped down the food leaving only scraps behind. licking his lips he went onto his warm nest made out out of a strange pelt and curled up wondering about the other cats and what there Housefolk fed them .
[The next Day]
waking up to the sound of his brother whining he got out of the nest "Finnaly i though you'd never get up and i'd be stuck inside for moons!" he mewed rolling his eyes and jumping into the grassy patch of there Housefolks garden. "I was wondering when they were going to let you and my kits of!" he heard a cat grumble "Spike! what are you doing here i told you to leave me alone" he saw a brown cat emerge from a hole in the fence, he was covered a oily substanse and he could almost taste the reek of Housefolk trash on him his fur was spiky and sticking our everywhere. "Yuck he stinks" Mittens mewed trying not to gag on his vile stench "He's your father" Bella mewed "What but he's a rouge!'' Sage yowled confused and shocked I've come to take one of my kits they are going to go too different Nofurs anyway" Spike mewed calmly confident that she would give up him or his brother. "i don't want a fight Bella you know i will win" he mewed pleading for one of his kits "Witch one do you want?'' Sage stared at his mother in shock how could she give one of us up to him?!? "The strongest one of course survivals for the fit not the weak so i'll take sedge with me" he meowed not knowing how offensive he was being "His name is Sage take him! i don't care i don't care come on Mittens we don't need them" Bella snapped nudging Mittens inside. Shocked that she could not want him he followed Spike under the hole in the fence leaving most of his fur behind stuck to the fence. "Now when your with me your gonna learn to fight for your meals!" hey mewed as preparing Sage for some sort of war "why do we need to steal food from
housefolk? he asked confused "There nofur's kit we eat to survive!" Spike corrected Sage avoiding Sages questions he heard spike let out a low growl when he saw a bony old tom slowly chewing at some pale meat "Stop him SPILL YOUR FIRST BLOOD PROTECTING MY--OUR FOOD!" He hissed at Sage "b--ut... he just eating a little" Sage squeaked at his father "It may seem small now but then he thinks its okay to eat what mine and keeps doing it until we DIE OF HUNGER NOW KILL HIM ALREADY!!!"
he growled It was either kill the old cat or face his father......

[Part two of Sagestars past Enjoy] There was not chance that Sage could be as cruel as his father lashing out his father pushed him against the fence "I thought being my son rgar you would have the guts to do it but your just a kittypet like you brother and mother all the same! i will not allow weakness!" Spike yowled lungeing at Sage sprawled helplessly on the floor he manged to roll out of his way before scambling to his paws "Whos the Kittypet now!" he meowed "I'm bigger than you i will end you can't beat me!" Spike hissed "But i'm faster than you mousebrain'' Sage growled bounding away heading for the grassy moor ahead seeing a barn this must mean the river is ahead i'm almost at the forest. his victory short lived when he heard Spike yowling yowling from the distance he jumped in the water blindly. water rushing all around him the current was too strong for him to pull away his lungs filling with water he was about to give in when something pulled him by the scruff pulling him to the surface "who's he Firefang?" Sage heard a she-cat ask "oh i don't know Ashfeather a fish" he mewed sarcaticly "It's a cat probly one of those loners who live in the barn " Firefang mewed Sagestar while coughed up a pool of water "Slow down don't want to make another river for you to drown in" He mewed laughing at his own joke {it runs in the family XD} "Thanks but who are you?" Sagestar mewed confused by these cats and there strange names. "my Names Ashfeather and this is Firefang come on Firefang our clan is waiting" Ashfeather pleaded trying to convince him to forget about the loner and go back to where they came from. "We got to take him with us we cant just leave him here its just wrong..." Firefang replied His red tabby pelt glowing in the sun "Ok you win as long as he can keep up!" she replied rushing off into the thick undergrowth "Don't worry the trees and bushes are great when you get used to them!'' he mewed impling that his clan would be his home forever. not wanting to get left behind he ran foward folowing them closer he had plenty of partice running from his father he though grimly. Finaly reaching the camp he saw all the cats gathered around him and a cat he could only assume was the leader perched on a low hanging tree branch "we found him in the lake Rushstar" he caught Firefang chating with his leader "What is his name?" Rushstar asked "He didnt tell me I'll go ask him'' he replied padding over to Sage "so you gonna tell me your name?" he mewed "it's Sage'' He relpied "Cool i'll tell him" Firefang went over and told him "Its just like the procecy said he will lead the clan after" Rushstar mewed loudly making sure the whole clan heard it to the whole clan looked at Rushstar in shock and disbelief "your going to make a loner deputy thats Insane!" he heard a young cat mew "Hush its not our place to question Starclan Nightpaw" a older cat growled at the younger cat. "Calm down" he heard Firefang meow. [to be continued in part 3] Eaglebreeze was Maggotfur and Swiftdawns dad, it said Spoiler you were warned XD

Snowfall rose to her paws the next morning. She didn't quite feel like herself, but she decided that it'd be best to get through the day, and maybe then she could return to her nest and sleep some more. Her friend, Emberclaw, should already be up, but she saw him curled in his nest. It was still quite early, she thought, and the sun hadn't even risen and taken the moon down from its throne. The white she-cat sighed. Sometimes she wished she could sleep longer, perhaps until midday if the clan allowed it, or maybe someone to help occupy her excessive free time within camp. The fresh-kill pile was full of fresh prey and the herbs were plentiful in the medicine cat's den; what else was there to do? Her claws dug into the earth, almost in frustration. At times, she wished she could spend more time with the tom that had certainly caught her attention, but she also knew he'd probably need space, especially to deal with his responsibilities. She shook her head. The early morning rays were already beating down on her as she headed for a shaded spot a little ways from the warrior's den. Snowfall didn't even bothernto eat a meal.

Dawnchaser has been padding back and forth in the camp clearing ever since he heard Sagestar announcement .He's fur bristled even more when he thought of the she-cat and how her punishment wasn't announced .Observing him from afar Troutsplash offered her wise words to him,"Dawnchaser please think about the kits it just wouldn't be fair to them .Growing up without their mother would affect them greatly so please behave your age.It was Sagestar decision so learn to respect it." The red tabby tom stared at her through narrowed eyes as he reflected on the senior warrior words.It just wasn't fair!What type of example was Sagestar putting for their clan,allowing her back into the clan he thought to himself as he settled down next to Troutsplash.Troutsplash began to groom the younger tom pelt in attempt to calm him down, sharing tongues was always a good way to unwind.

"E-er, kits aren't quite my thing. For both of us, actually." She replied, then looked elsewhere. After moments of silence, she caught the conversation between Troutsplash and Dawnchaser, then proceeded to groom her own fur from the mess it was in the mornings.

Dawnchaser grunted when he heard Sagestar mention kits and the fact he was sulking."Like anyone would touch those half-born kits," he meowed lowly to Troutsplash. The older warrior tail twitched half-heartedly at his comment but remained silent since she was in no position to scold him.

Snowfall shook her head again, "N-no thank you." She muttered. She knew she was clearly disobeying him, but how could she trust him when he let a traitor back into the clan and into their ranks again? She could feel her head spinning slightly, confused, but she knew she didn't want to go near those kits. Even if it meant good for the clan, sure, more numbers for them, but she refused to even look at them. Snowfall didn't think they were disgusting. She just thought of Swiftdawn's re-acceptance into the clan when she saw them. The she-cat felt a bitter taste in her mouth and it growing dry in a frustrated manner.
Frostbite had made her way out of the den, early enough to catch the conversations going on. She snorted as she heard Dawnchaser, her icy eyes clearly showing the same disgust the tom had. "For real..." She grumbled, using a clawed paw to push a mouse in front of herself. "As much as the code stresses kits and all, I don't think I'll ever like those half-born furballs." She spat, ears lowering in an angered manner as she began to eat. "Besides, they were born to a traitor. And I respected that warrior..."

Beekit rushed into the warrior den tripping over his own tail "i'm going to get you!" Applekit meowed practicing her stalk as if she was going to pounce on every bush until she found her hiding littermates.

At the sight of the kits, Snowfall sighed and turned, deciding she'd head out of camp, more so to be alone. She did so quietly, not making much noise to disturb the others, her paws carefully avoiding anything that might snap or crunch under her weight. She eventually found herself by the stream that ran through the territory, laying beside a boulder. She let out a quiet snort, resting her head on her paws.
From where she sat near the two warriors, Frostbite's cold gaze swept over the loud kits. She couldn't help but let out an irritated snort, turning her head away. "They're gonna wake the whole clan up." She growled, more to herself, but loud enough for Dawnchaser to listen.

Dawnchaser tail twitched in annoyance but deemed to hold his tongue. He was glad that he wasn't the only one who thought the same way.The tom nodded his head in agreement with Frostbite comment."They're free to run about the camp without their mother mentoring them how irresponsible" he added as he observed them.
Troutsplash excused herself between the two. She wouldn't allow herself to listen to such a toxic converstation. The kits were a lovely addition to the clan and hopefully they will grow into strong warriors.She softly purred watching them fondly hopefully she'll be able to mentor one of them in the near future.

Although alone, Snowfall felt at peace. It had been so long since she had silence and was allowed to rest in the forest, surrounded by nature.
Frostbite flicked her tail. "Those kits are bound to get us all into trouble, anyway. Running into the warrior's den like that is only gonna earn 'em a scolding. Besides... they aren't supposed to leave the nursery without their mother, isn't she? Or has that mousebrained cat grown irresponsible?" There was harsh bitterness laced into her tone, but that's also how she usually was. "I wouldn't even have let 'em in. Even less after what she did."

Grabing the kits by the scruffs Swiftdawn and moving them out of the warrior den "the warriors den is not place for kits!" she mewed looking at Dawnchaser as she spoke.
Sandwish made her way through the camp almost tripping on one of the kits "Watch it!" hey hissed almost droping the prey out of her mouth,after taking the prey to the pile she went over to relax in the clearing watching Hazel kit try to help Breezecloud with the herbs "Looks like Breezeclouds already found a apprentice to boss around" letting out a meow of amusement Sandwish went to sit by Troutsplash who she had always looked up to for ability to stay cool under pressure.

Sagestar walked up to the cats "i don't like Swiftdawn for what she did either but kicking her and the kits out wont solve anything" he mewed trying to calm down there hostile feelings towards the kits that were his kin.
Maggotfur say near the wall of brambles never looking so depressed ashamed that his sister would betray the clan like she did.

"Swiftdawn can run off and have kits but can't even keep an eye on the furballs she produced" Dawnchaser wrinkled his nose utter disgust when Swftdawn came to retrieve her kit."Your right they have no right coming close to the warriors den nor will they be fully accepted by the clan".He fell silent when Sagestar approached them but still ignore what he had to say about the whole issue.
Troutsplash dipped her head at Sandwish as she acknowledge the she-cat presence. She hissed at Dawnchaser comment,"That is enough from you two don't make me put you on extra duties!".It annoyed her that she had to listen them belittle the kits it wasn't right especially infront of their leader.
