[Sandpaws warrior name is gonna be Sandwish say it out loud its hilarious] for the first time in his life Sagestar could get to sleep,what kind off a mentor am i? i should have known how uncomfortable Sandpaw was in trees! he thought disappointed in himself, Sagestar though that he had to do something he needed to talk to Starclan he didn't want anyone worrying about him he just wanted to know if Sandpaw would ever recover so he took the back entrance making sure to cover his tracks, {can someone be star clan?}

๐๐๐๐๐๐ข โ that name sounds kinda cute actually aha and ill be starclan i suppose? just tell me if i need to say anything specific)) As Sagestar left the camp, a starry cat was perched on a tree, her form lean and muscled. Her eyes followed the tom intently, wondering why her former clan's leader was leaving the camp with such few cats residing there. She let out a soft noise, hopping down, but she kept her distance and did not try to make any other noises to alert him of her rather eery presence.

Sagestar caught sight of the starry cat and asked "will Sandpaw recover i never should of mentoured her i failed in making her a great warrior after all her injury was my fault"

The starry cat, Birdwing, let out a soft sigh. She hated to watch her clanmates in pain, even from StarClan. "Of course she will. She is a young cat; it'll take time without proper medicinal practices but she will heal. I assure you, it wasn't your fault. I was watching and it was just the weak branch that caused the accident."

Sagestar walked away clearly realizing he got the answers he was looking for there was still one question where was Emberclaws hunting patrol.[SERIOUSLY THEY HAVE BEEN OUT FOR AGES]

( its mostly the humidity here ;__; but it sucks a lot more during summer
we're both in a bad predicament i suppose!! lol ))
Frostbite, Snowfall's sister, silently sat in camp. Unlike her, she was awfully quiet and reserved and preferred to keep to herself. At the sight of Sagestar returning to camp, she dipped her head. "Hello, Sagestar." She greeted, keeping her head low in a respectful manner.
[im in the process of making her application! and I know haha im just waiting for breeze to come back ]

Sagestar nodded happy to have such loyal warrior "have you seen your sister or Emberclaw?"he said clearly worried for there safety when he saw Sandpaw putting a crow on the prey pile "where did you get that crow"
she looked wide eyed at Sagestar "uh-h it flew into camp she lied" Sagestar looked at her back it looked as if the crow put up a fight "tell Spottedbark to check your wounds he may not be a medicene cat but he knows more about healing than the rest of us" Sandpaw nodded then raced over clearing hanging out with Spottedbark being no problem for her ,"do you helping her train for her warrior assessment" he meowed to frostbite.

she watched as Sagestar talked to Frostbite they're probably talking about usless i am she though grimly.

(already saw em! and yeah haha  i figured since i wanted snowfall to have a sibling i'd make another snow themed character lol) "I haven't seen Emberclaw or Snowfall in a while. They're most likely patrolling through the entire territory again." She replied flatly, although it was unintentional. It was just how she was. She watched the apprentice and the mentor speak speak to each other before shaking her head at his next question. "No, I haven't. I wouldn't dare take her out, all hurt and such." |

"Alright." She said silently, almost a low grumble. She didn't quite want to leave the comfort and safety of camp, she wasn't hungry for adventure like her sister, Snowfall, was. Her eyes turned to Maggotfur and she sighed, standing and quietly beginning to trot out of camp without another word.

Maggotfur wished he was young again, being one of the oldest warriors in the clan came with pressures and with Emberclaw and snowfall gone for a long time it was up to him and Frostbite to feed the clan
"so how long do you think it will take for the other patrol to get back?" Maggotfur meowed trying to start a conversation he used to being on patrol with Swiftdawn but he can't cling to his sister forever...

"I have no clue." She replied, tail flicking as she looked around for a place where she could smell the prey from. "The territory is way too big for a small patrol to cover all on their own in such a short time." Her nose was filled with the scent of a few mice, and as soon as her frosty eyes fell on the small rodents, she lowered herself to the ground. She was extremely careful not to make any noise as to alert them, and once close enough, she leaped and unsheathed her claws, catching two of the three mice. Carefully, she picked them up, setting the fresh prey on an emptier patch of grass.

"well he was trying to send small patrols out so camp is guarded" Maggotfur replied he caught a scent of a mouse "mouse over there there i'll scare it to you" he signaled her to stop while he rushed to scare the mouse bolted away terrified of the looming cat only to run straight into Frostbites hiding place.

Her hiding spot was beside a bush, having a hard time blending in, but she managed. She swatted the mouse with her unsheathed clawed paws, knocking it back and off balance before she moved over to land the killing blow. She set it by the other two mice, shifting a few leaves to cover it while they kept hunting. "There's... a bird nearby." She said as she heard a flapping of a small form above them in the trees.

Nice find he thought but he didn't wanna be outdone by a younger warrior he saw the bird from above a plump magpie this catch was going to be easy he thought, getting into a hunting crouch he sprung on in the air hooking the bird, almost instantly his claw tore off causing him to fall back to the ground "my claw it got ripped off!' he yowled in pain for his bleeding paw.

As he fell and the magpie began to fly, Frostbite growled adn leaped into the air, just high enough to bring it down with her. She swiftly killed it, then set it down and looked at the warrior. In frustration, she looked back at the prey they caught. "There's herbs in the medicine cat's den. I can try to treat you the best I can. Pick up a mouse or two and I'll get to it." She said, picking up the magpie and two mice, choosing to carry more so Maggotfur could be careful.

Swiftdawn watched her brother leave for a hunting patrol, she wasnt used to being at camp without him, i guess it had to happen sometime she thought, Maggotfur and her brother had been so close ever since their mother, Lilystorm died from green-cough Maggotfur always blamed himself for not giving her his share of catmint, she had told him multiple times its wasn't his fault but he couldn't seem to be reasoned with, then he watched when Eaglebreeze (the medicine cat) died he seemed to stop grieving and looked angry at both of there vigils Swiftdawn still doesn't know why.

Maggotfur limped to camp with and saw Swiftdawn's expression of shock "i wish Eaglebreeze was still here" she meowed he was about to disagree but he didn't want to break her heart she had nagged Eaglebreeze to get a apprentice but he said that there was nobody with the right skills,what a lie! he thought padding over to Spottedbark who seemed to be talking to Sandpaw.

Once in camp, Frostbite set the prey on the fresh-kill pile and trotted into the medicine cat's den, waiting for him to follow. She didn't think twice. Before her mother died, she had taught both Snowfall and Frostbite a few things about healing. First, the she-cat picked a few leaves of stinging nettle, chewing it quickly into a poultice and turning to apply it to Maggotfur's wound, hoping that it'd help the wound heal. Next, the she-cat did the same for horsetail, taking a few stalks and chewing it up, quickly applying it to treat any possible infections and to stop the bleeding. She then handed the tom a few poppy seeds to help ease the pain, and while he would do so, she began to wrap his paw with some cobwebs, however not covering all of it so it'd allow for movement.

{XD yeah Eaglebreeze is a male and was the medicine cat he gave Spottedbark training before he died but Spottedbark was more of a warrior so Eaglebreeze didn't force him to be a medicine cat XD }
{i hope cloud doesnt mind me making this awesome backstory but i can understand she is very busy good thing i have a free weekend}

{yeah Eaglebreeze gave basic training to snowfall and frostbite after he let go of spottedbark cause he knew it was to late to get a new apprentice}
Maggotfur felt better after the poltice went on to the prey pile and grabbed a small mouse he felt that's all he deserved after failing like that in front of a younger warrior.

Frostbite followed him out, trotting to pick an older critter from the pile, a smaller rabbit laying beneath. She ate it quietly before looking at him. "Not even a thank you, mister?" She asked, almost as if she was poking fun at him, before she moved to dig up the rabbit's remains.

Sagestar grabbed a crow from the fresh kill pile and went back to his den he had been trying to ask star clan when he should make Sandpaw a warrior and they kept saying now was the right time,"why now she hasn't done her warrior assessment he knew it would be foolish to go against a Starclan dream he "i have a -announcement to make from this day forward i will make Sandpaw a warrior " W-What " she yelled in disbelief "you may not know this but Starclan thinks we need you as a warrior" Sagestar pointed out calmly

Her ears perked, turning towards Sagestar. She then glanced at the wounded apprentice. Why would he make her an apprentice now? She hadn't yet done her assessment, as the tom stated, and she was wounded, the she-cat thought to herself. She opened her mouth to challenge the leader, but decided against it, instead eyeing Sandpaw.

Sandpaw snapped "respect your elders" Maggotfur joked.

She snorted, "Mmhm." Her eyes turned onto Swiftdawn, then turned to the apprentice. She turned her back to them, deciding to lay under some shade in the camp, her tail tip twitching. She was worried for her sister, unsure of where she was, and wondering why it was taking so long.
