Riverpaw shrugged as he started walking again.
"Just that Foxfoot says you're a pain in the tail and that he wonders why the Headmaster allows you to stay," Riverpaw said. "Shadowfur just thinks he's still mad because you two pranked him once."

The brother laughed.
"Well, we don't care much for old foxy's opinion of us. Or anyone opinion really. But that prank was perfectly hilarious. I don't see any reason why he still holds a grudge about it." They said with amused chuckled.

And we wouldn't want to treat him like a lesser cat simply because he's crippled, now would be Sootsplash?" Smokesplash looked at his brother with a smile. Sootsplash grinned, "Of course not. We want him to feel like he is just like all the others." Sootsplash said, stopping as they reached the edge of the Black Lake. |

The brothers glanced from Riverpaw to each other and then back to Riverpaw. There was something he wasn't telling them.
"Listen, we're not completely stupid. There is something else up with you and you might as well tell us now." They said, trying to keep the interest from their expressions.

"It'd be easier to show you," he said, he closed his eyes and was silent for a moment before suddenly morphing into a young fox.

The two toms sighed and waited, obviously anxious for what this was about. That is, until the apprentice shifted in front of them. Both toms jumped back in surpise.
"What!"
"How can you do that?!"
"Are you registered!?!"
"What does this have to do with the Den Leader?!" They spewed out bursts of questions in surprise.

Riverpaw gave a bark of amusement before changing back to his cat form.
"I don't honestly know how I can change, no I am not registered, which is why you two can tell anyone, and it has to do with the den leader because they're starting to figure out that I'm an Animagus," he said, barely keeping up with their questions, he licked his chest, smoothing out his slightly ruffled fur.

"Well it'll stay that way then. Now to start our wonderful plan to throw old Cindy off your tail. What is it that he's found that has him convinced your an Animagus? Fox hair in your nest? Has he actually seen you transform?" They asked, voices changing to more of a buisness-like tone.

The toms sat in thought for a minute and then nodded,
"We'll take care of the fox hair. But as for him catching you. You've got two options. Stop sneaking out at least stop until he calms down. Or you can learn to sneak a bit better." They said in a-matter-of-fact tones.
