Outside Terrain and Territory and Inside the Castle

First is the terrain. This Clan lives in a very thick heavily wooded forest with tall pines, oaks, and many other trees. The Southern Boarder of the territory stretches all the way to the Mystic Lure, a beautiful waterfall said to be made of melted diamonds. North it stretches to the abandoned castle in which the cats themselves live. East stops at the end of the Forbidden Forest. And West stops at the Black Lake. The woodland that they live in is higher up in the mountains so in the winter there is plenty of snow, in the spring plenty of rain, in the fall plenty of wind, and in the summer it’s extremely hot. To any non-magical clan, Hogwarts Clan doesn’t even exist, in fact exactly where it is all they see is a clearing covered with flowers.

First Floor of the Castle
Nursery-Furthest to the right on the first floor of the castle, is a large, but cozy room with a small, moss covered entrance. This is the nursery. The inside is warmed by constant heat from shifting Queens and other cats. The ground is hard stone, but, using leathers and furs from the castle walls and furniture. The cats laid furs and such on the floor, making it soft and comfortable.
Fresh Kill Hall-This room is the furthest room from the entrance. The doors are covered with ivy that the cats must climb up and then down to enter into the hall. In this hall, fresh kill is piled in the center and all the dens grab their share and retreat to one of the corners in the room to eat. The Den leaders and the Clan Master all eat at the head of the room by themselves.

 
Badger Den (Hufflepuff)-The Badger den is located on the first floor, but it’s a bit hidden. Across from the Nursery is a large rock. The Badger den cats must tap a particular rhythm onto the stone. If the rhythm is correct a small cellar-like door will open on the ground beside the rock. Once the cat has entered the door will close. After going down few flights of stairs there is a large roomy area in which the Badger cats sleep. The area is made of hard packed dirt, giving it an earthy feel. There are several beds of moss spread across the dirt floor to sleep on. In the very back of this room is another entrance, this on shown by a simple hole covered by a wood plank. This entrance leads into another, somewhat smaller den, in which the Den leader sleeps. This entrance can be opened by simply pushing against the plank.

Serpent Den (Slytherin)-The Serpent Den is located far back in one of the many hallways on the first floor of the castle. The marker for the den entrance is a large green gem hanging four bricks off the floor. Serpent Den cats must speak the password into the green gem and then the four bricks below the gem will open up to a dark tunnel. The long tunnel leads all the way down to the Mystic Lure and opens up deep inside a cave that lies behind the waterfall. The cave is mostly dark but light shines from the entrance and water from the waterfall also trickles inside the cave. Glowing mushrooms and crystal fixtures provide slight decor in the cave, but the cats also covered the stoney floor with green and sliver clothing items. In the back of the cave is a small tunnel that stretches a small distance before opening up into a small room. The room walls are covered with glowing crystals and in the center is a nest for the Den Leader. This den can be entered at any tim, but most Serpent cats leave their Den Leader alone anyways.

The Second Floor

Lion Den (Gryffindor)- The Gryffindor Den is located in a large bedroom that sits on the second floor. Strangely enough the fireplace in this room eternally burns and never goes out. This is the entrance of the Lion Den. After speaking the password clearly to the flames, the cat can walk through the fire safely without being burned. If spoken incorrectly, the fire will not let you through and you will be burned. Behind the fire is a small marble staircase that opens into a stone den. The den floor is littered with nests and piles of multipe different animal skins. The most fasinating feature of this room is the scattered piles of golden coins that were hidden by the humans who used to live there. The gold is enchanted and always keep the cats warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Not only does it do this, but it also reflects beautiful golden specks of light on the walls and ceiling. In the furthest corner of this room is a hollow cave looking indentation. This cave like fixture has furs covering every inch of wall, floor, and ceiling. This is the Den Leaders den.

The Third Floor

Eagle Den (Ravenclaw)- The Eagle Den is located on the third floor, at the entrance of the tallest tower. This tower is falling apart and a large oak tree is the only thing holding it together. To enter the tower, Eagle den cats must stop in from of a silk banner and answer a riddle, if they answer correctly, they can simply walk straight through the banner. If not, they are stuck outside. After going thrugh they have to climb up crumbled tower stairs until they reach a point at which the tree trunk blocks the stairs. This area is hollowed out into a large den. Feathers from birds and furs from the castle are littered across the floor for nests. About three or four feet above the hollow is a cliff like indention going further into the tree. This is the Eagle Den Leader's den. It's walls are covered with feathers and talons from defeated birds and dragons hang on the walls. The top of the tree stretches far above the tower and is a common nesting ground for Eagles, Hawks, and Dragons.

Joining the Clan

I'll just give ya'll a quick explanation. Instead of using wands and things like they do in Harry Potter, cats are born with one power that is based off a spell/potion/hex/enchament. A cat can only be gifted with one spell power and the power that it gives the cat has to have something to do with the spell. You use your own imagination for the power the spell gives your cat. Once Tucker or I approve of your character you are allowed to jump into the roleplay. If we ask you to lower the power of your cat because it seems over-powered, please be respectful and do as we ask. We aren't trying to be mean or single anyone out.

The Medicine cat can have three powers from three different spells. This is for the Medicine Cat only! The Medicine cats are also allowed to have mates, but they are forbidden to have kits. Medicine cat apprentice's have only one power. They get the ther two when they are no longer an apprentice. The test for this is preformed by the Medicine cat instead of the Clan Headmaster.

Were-cat, vampires, and animagus are limited to one of each for each Den. If you'd like for information on how those work with cats, ask myself or Tuckercat.

Because this is cats, Den Leaders, Warriors, and the Clan Headmaster are in the same general age range. Apprentices are younger then these three groups, unless they are an apprentice getting ready to graduate.

Badger Den Leader

His right front paw is twisted, due to falling out of a tree as a young kit, yet tht doesn't slow him down or hinder his stalking Abilties||Foxfoot wears a mask of seriousness, yet if you had known him while he was in school, you would've known the playfully, good-humored, and easy going tom that he really is||Confudus, used to confuse enemies||N/A||Foxfoot loves to freak out his young students by starting to yell at them, but never carry out his threats.

Scar located under her right eye, as well as one on her left flank thats somewhat small. Her fur is fluffed up, usually around the neck area. || Usually soft spoken in nature, but around her fellow den members, she can be quite the breath of fresh air. Around someone she likes, she could be rather... Tsundere. || Lumos. Can use this in different ways, usually to gain even further sight where it is impaired, or create a small ball of light to guide other cats. In fighting circumstances, if focused hard enough, could be used as a blinding mechanism. || No mate, crush, or family to speak of currently. ||

When he was still an apprentice he failed to save a kit from a terrible wound and it haunts him. The other medicine cat hat been out helping with the The Triwizard Competition and he had been back at the den checking the stores of herbs.||Felix Felicis- Simply tends to make him lucky however he isn't really sure he believes in it at the kits death, The Draught of Peace- If he concentrates he can make other feel a little calmer, Episkey- able to heal minor wounds by touching his nose to them.||none||


{Whiskerwing} Thistlewillow || Female || Medicine cat || Medicine cat || A black cat with white tips at the muzzle, ears, paws, and tail. Bright amber eyes, somewhat small build. Older than she actually looks. || Thistlewillow is, more or less, the 'protective motherly' type. She is very gentle to any cat within the clan, especially to those even HALF a moon younger, and will do whatever it takes to make them happy. When angered, however, she tends to be... well, bratty is more or less the word. || 1) Anapneo: An airway clearing spell. This could make it easier to swallow needed medicines, or be used to, in certain circumstances, allow malicious objects to be coughed up if they haven't reached the stomach. 2) Ferula: Can be used to make a splint from anything, even objects as simple as a twig, a leaf, and a few spider webs. Good to help broken limbs be set in place. 3) Wingardium Leviosa: Very useful for getting objects she needs to her. However, it causes her to need to look at the object for a few seconds, first. Then she can levitate it to her, to either place somewhere, take it with her, or bring it to her to use on someone, usually an herb. || None to speak of. ||

Once he has cooled though, he always returns back to normal.||Lumos- This gives Smokesplash the ablilty to light up his whole entire body, or he can just project light from his eyes. Scootsplash is built for speed and agility. He has a little bit of muscle about him, but not enough to talk about.||Sootsplash is almost a complete mirror of Smokesplash. He is a extremely sarcastic tom with a wonderful sense of humor. He can turn almost anything into a joke and he has a knack for pranks. His unserious side however can be a bad thing. Sootsplash is a bit quieter then Smokesplash, most think its just came with the spell he has. Sootsplash is loyal to friends and family like his brother, however he keep his temper in check much better then Smokesplash||Nox- This gives Sootsplash the ability to blacken any room and take all light away. If he has enough control he can also blacken himself to completely blend in with shadows and any kind of darkness, this however takes more concentration and skill.||Smokesplash is his one and only brother|| Sootsplash's mother is the Badger Den Leader, unknown to him.

{Tawnyheart}Blackdawn||She-cat||Lion Den||Warrior||All black she-cat that can sometimes be confused with Darkheart. She has green eyes and her legs aren't as long||Blackdawn is a very loyal she-cat. Once you've become friends with her, she will defend you with her life. She is a hard worker and tries hard to get everything right||Confringo-Causes anything the spell comes in contact with to explode. The smaller the blast the harder it is for her to control also weakened by water.||Blackdawn doesn't associate with her family and tends not to talk about them. Darkheart is her cousin

{Tawnyheart}Mintleaf||She-cat||Lion Den||Warrior||Silver sleek pelted she-cat with dark grey stripes and a white chest. Dark green eyes and her left paw is white||Mintleaf is a very soft spoken she-cat, who is very kind. She makes friends easily and loves to be doing something||Deprimo-This spell places immense downward pressure on the target, which may result in the violent fracturing of said target. Takes a lot of her energy and drains easily||Mintleaf's family absolutely loves her and keeps in touch. They would love to see her have a mate, but the she-cat is unsure.

Her fur is pitch black, the only exception being the faint orange markings that she has on her torso, legs, tail and ears. Her eyes are a vibrant green color and her tail is quite long. ||Spiderfang is a sassy shecat who will tell anyone off if they annoy her. She doesn't like following orders and will do her own thing, regardless of the punishments that might follow. She has a sharp tounge and makes more sarcastic remarks then she should most of the time. She is caring though, having a soft spot for her friends.||Aguamenti- she can create a small burst of water that can breafly be controlled, but only for a minute or two.||
