just as a heads up, for the next moon, i don't think I'll be available since my husband is going to be in town and we're celebrating his bday week so I'll be really busy with that. and then i may be pretty spotty for almost all of august and into September cuz i'm travelling for work. I'll be able to get something up sometimes, but i would not bet on it haha. work trips are usually really eventful and busy

Yall I officially spent way too much time here.
I had a dream someone joined the forums trying to join YewClan, but just... made a self-insert OC in the introduction board and started spamming one-liner dialogue posts using all the YewClan cats and their new OC? in introduction? And we were like. Just letting them do their thing because I tried to go in and explain how it worked and they just complained we weren't acting the characters "in character enough" and that the plot wasn't interesting?
But apparently ignoring them also the wrong move, because I "woke up" (in the dream) to find that they'd come over to this thread and started harassing all yall both on the thread and in DM, trying to convince yall (rather rudely) to give up your characters because you weren't worthy of playing them?
so I just want to let yall know that apparently I'm managing rps even in my dreams now :thumbsup:

early moons are in! I wonder if the game actually cares about season continuity aka making all moons of summer hot because well, I've never seen this many heat exhaustions in a typical season.

Brownie I love the name Whorldusk for Whorlpaw because the word dusk is related to darkness, and there is darkness in Whorlpaw in his grumpiness and his weak loyalty to the Warrior Code. The other names, Whorlmeadow and Whorlflood doesn’t suit him in my opinion. Also I feel so bad for Foxpaw who wasn’t made a warrior despite her warrior assessment last moon, and for Stormmask who have gotten BOTH heat stroke and a mangled tail that his moon! I’m so afraid she is going to die from one of those! 😭‼️

Poor Dapplestar will be having a crisis with both medicine cats out of commission- I really hope Stormmask pulls through. Also, I didn't have time to write much for it last moon, but I had to do something for Heavy's deputy naming ceremony! When I have it finished, I could post it to the stories channel

So um. I apparently wasn't paying close enough attention to the relationships and uh. SOME cat got like 80% hate somehow in the last two moons and. Maybe. Did a murder. That's on me, I'm supposed to be watching those bars like a hawk and I have not done my due vigilance.
So rolling THAT back because. ooops. Sorry? (if anyone can guess who the pair is, the murder and murderee, you get a gold star!)
Gonna go through every cat and nix some high dislike bars across the board ^^
tho uh. Can we open a dialogue about how yall want to handle dislike bars in the future? On one hand, dislike happens; it makes for more interesting character dynamics. On the other... murder? I am willing to allow dislike bars and just cleanse murders when they pop up.
