Duskfeather- Gives Hawkheart a friendly nudge when he earns his name Duskfeather watched proudly as Hawkpaw, now Hawkheart, pleaded his allegiance to the Warrior Code and was named a full warrior. Time had passed so quickly, yet Hawkheart made progress even quicker. He had become a formidable hunter and fighter who was sure to aid the clan for many moons to come. Duskfeather had known for a while that Hawkheart was probably going to be his last apprentice, so he was incredibly happy that he had done such a good job. ”Hawkheart! Daisytuft!” Duskfeather chanted together with the rest of the clan, with extra emphasis on his own former apprentice. He took a quick glance in Hatchpaw’s direction. The deputy felt bad for him. It’s not his fault he got heat exhaustion and couldn’t become a warrior too. Still, if Fawnstar thought that he needed a bit more push, then he had to wait a bit longer. His time will come eventually. As the ceremony ended, Hawkheart walked up to Duskfeather and thanked him for everything the deputy taught him, even referring to him as a father figure. “I had an extra competent apprentice to work with, which made it easy.” Duskfeather said with a grin. “I wish you luck in becoming deputy one day. I think you have all the skills to eventually get into the position.” Loyalty, quick thinking and a sense of justice. All traits that, Duskfeather at least, considered Hawkheart possessed. The next sentence surprised the deputy a bit: “And im really sorry about your sister. I know you think you burdened me but you didnt you made me stronger!” They hadn’t talked about Duskfeather’s sister since the patrol he initially mentioned her. “Don’t worry, she’s relaxing in StarClan now. I know Maplestorm would be proud of you too.” He looked above into into the sky. “Someday, I’ll join her and we’ll be reunited. But that day hasn’t come yet. I still have more protecting PlumClan to do.” Duskfeather- Patrol with Cloverfur and Havenpaw Rumours recently have been spreading around that there is a badger on PlumClan territory. It could pose a serious threat to everyone if it’s allowed to roam free. Duskfeather decided it was finally time to scout the territory in search of any signs these rumors might be true. He brought Cloverfur and his apprentice, Havenpaw, with him as well, as Duskfeather thought it would be good training for the young cat. As they padded out into the forest, Duskfeather decided they should split up. Cloverfur would go with his apprentice, and Duskfeather would go alone. The deputy wasn’t afraid, fighting was his skill after all. “I’ll head west, and you guys go east. If we don’t find anything, we’ll meet up back here.” And of they went. But, no matter how thoroughly he searched, Duskfeather just couldn’t find any sign of a badger. He was relieved, but he still had to see if the others found anything. Miraculously, in his search, he had looked for so long that he refound Cloverfur and Havenpaw’s scent. Well, I might as well go directly to them.
“Cloverfur! I haven’t found anything, have you-“ but just as Duskfeather was about to finish his sentence, he felt it. The signature smell of badger dirt. It seems an uninvited guest was on their territory after all. “We should report this to Fawnstar”. Duskfeather- Is assessing the Clan's physical strength and readiness for war/Talks to Golddusk War. It was a core part of clan cats lives, yet, nobody truly wanted it. Very few cats actively wanted to spill blood or expand their clan’s territory. Every clan usually had enough prey, yet, border disputes still happened. War was something caused by misunderstandings and fear. Fear that, if you don’t attack someone, they’ll attack you first. Duskfeather would have preferred peace between the clans. But, even though he was the deputy, he was sometimes affected by this fear. The fear that his clan mates might be hurt. The fear that prevented peace. Luckily, everything had been calm recently. The clans have been friendly. But you can never be too safe.BurdockClan was still up to their occasional prey stealing, but even YewClan, PlumClan’s old allies, were now more diplomatically neutral. They weren’t hostile by any means, but the usual friendliness between their clans had largely disappeared. Duskfeather meticulously analyzed every aspect of a potential war. From who were the strongest fighters, to where it would be safe to hunt, to even if the healers could deal with the increase of injured cats. It was stressful, but someone had to think of these possibilities. Duskfeather decided to take a break from that, however. There was a specific clan mate he wanted to check on. Golddusk. As an apprentice, he got constantly distracted, yet nobody knew why. Despite this, he was still promoted and got an apprentice of his own, Forestpaw. He wanted to see if there was any way he could help the young warrior, and find out if he’s still distracted. ”Hello, Golddusk. How are you doing today? Is training with Forestpaw going well?” He waited for his response and then continued. “I wanted to ask if there was anything wrong. You seem to have gotten past your troubles as an apprentice, but I still wanted to help in any way I could.” Tagging Hawkheart Dew moonKT60633 stonekeeper

-Golddusk-training with Duststep and Forestpaw It was a hot day today. The summer heat felt unbearable to the long-haired tom, who would much rather be in the warrior’s den where it’s cooler than be outside. He knew; however, that his responsibilities as both a warrior and a mentor must come first. Golddusk watched as Forestpaw trained with Duststep. The she-cat had come along with both Golddusk and Forestpaw to help out with the training today. He saw Forestpaw collapse onto the ground after jumping onto the nearby plum tree. He noticed how both Duststep and Forestpaw looked exhausted. He heard before going out on the patrol today that two other cats had already gone to the medicine den this moon due to the heat. He reasoned that it would be wiser to stop the training for now before any of them end up falling victim to either heat exhaustion or heat stroke. “I think we should stop for now. We can pick up where we left off later.” he said to the other cats. He padded off to rest under the nearest tree, where he hoped to cool off in its shade. He felt just as exhausted as Duststep and Forestpaw. They had been training for quite some time during the day and it was quite clear to him that the heat had been affecting all of them. He nodded his head at Forestpaw in acknowledgment to what Forestpaw had said to him, too tired to answer. He laid down at the base of the tree, hoping to at least rest for a while. Golddusk’s eyes felt heavy as he begins to feel sleepy. It didn’t take too long for him to eventually fall asleep and start taking a nap under the tree. … Golddusk woke up to find himself in an unfamiliar place. However, something about this felt familiar to him. He realized that he must be dreaming at this moment. He could also tell that this dream wasn’t his own, already starting to feel the emotions of the dreaming cat. But then whose dream is it? Who could be asleep right now? Golddusk thought to himself curiously as he stood up. He walked through the dream, feeling the cat’s feeling of frustration and annoyance although the reason why this cat would be feeling these emotions, Golddusk don’t know. He spotted Duststep talking with a cat that looked vaguely like Fogshard. So this must be Duststep’s dream. Golddusk thought. Duststep must had fallen asleep at around the same time as Golddusk. He walked away, not wanting to interrupt Duststep’s dream even though it clearly was a negative one. This was Duststep’s dream after all and Golddusk didn’t want to find out what would happen if he interrupted Duststep’s conservation with Fogshard. He walked some more, feeling Duststep’s emotions fade away behind him like mist. He could sense some new emotions fading in and knew he was about to enter the dream of another cat. -Golddusk-Talking with Duskfeather/thinks about the odd dreams he’s been having lately Golddusk is in camp, having come back after a long day of training with both Duststep and Forestpaw. He was deep in thought, thinking about the odd dreams he had just been having earlier that day. He had walked the dreams of both Duststep and Forestpaw, picking up on their emotions along the way. Before he could think about the dreams any further, he heard another cat approach him. He looked up to see that it was the Plumclan deputy, Duskfeather, that was approaching him. “Hello Duskfeather. I’ve been doing good. The training with Forestpaw had gone well despite the weather today.” He listened to Duskfeather as he continued to speak to him some more. Golddusk thought about what Duskfeather had said to him. Asides from the harsh weather today, Golddusk hadn’t been experiencing any troubles lately. He shook his head. “Nothing had gone wrong today but I will let you know if I had been experiencing any troubles.” Golddusk told the deputy. (I hope I didn’t accidentally godmod on this one. I tried to reference Duststep’s relationship interaction with Fogshard when describing her dream since the training encounter said that Golddusk’s spirit was wandering from her mind to Forestpaw’s.) tigersdoroar chocolatemilk7

[[ stonekeeper nope you're good! Duststep is an NPC right now, anyone can play her parts until someone claims her. Tho could I ask that you try and break up those paragraph blocks for longer prompts? It's very hard to follow when it's a solid chunk like that. I kept getting lost. ]]

ooc;; i think this reminded me, Brownie could willowmouse's kit toggle be switched off? WILLOWMOUSE - Ceremonies with Daisytuft & Hawkheart! Willowmouse’s chest puffed up with pride as Daisytuft received her name. A warrior already! How quick they grow, she mused, glancing at Fawnstar from the corner of her eye. Sometimes it felt like it couldn’t have been more than a few moons ago when she had seen Fawnstar graduate herself. She could admit she’d miss Daisytuft. Willowmouse wouldn’t consider herself a motherly type by any means, but the wide-eyed excitement of apprentices always filled her with a sense of warmth. It felt good to see them grow, excel even. She was long past the days of kitting herself, thank Starclan, but she could come to enjoy teaching- perhaps in a more official capacity? As if, Willowmouse huffed. She’d never sought a position with responsibility within Plumclan before, and she certainly wouldn’t start now. Ceremonies just made her stupidly sentimental. Shrugging off her thoughts, the senior molly broke through her crowd of clanmates. Willowmouse narrowed her eyes fondly at Daisytuft once she made it to the front, her voice a low murmur, “ good job.” She did have a reputation to keep up, after all.

Daisytuft
Warrior Ceremony! Wonders what BurdockClan cats are like (LAST MOON) Daisypaw quivered as she confronted Fawnstar’s mighty voice. She’d heard the warrior’s oath when Duststep was appointed, but it felt surreal when applied to her. The speckled molly’s tail tip twitched, but her expression remained solemn until she was a -paw no longer. Perhaps that’s Willowmouse’s influence. It was impressive how she managed to mentor both the leader and PlumClan’s newest warrior. That cranky cat would always hold a special place in her heart. Daisypaw was sure Fawnstar felt the same. In spite of her excitement, the grown apprentice risked a glance to the medicine den where Hatchpaw was curled up. Shinepaw’s tragic passing was still fresh in her memory, but the rest of her littermates had truly grown as a family, and Daisypaw would do everything in her power to ensure her brother was patrolling by her side next moon. Finally, the moment arrived. Hawkpaw was renamed to Hawkheart, honored for his diligence. Daisypaw became Daisy tuft. It was a beautiful name. The new warrior reached up to touch noses with Fawnstar, but even standing up, her ears brushed past the leader’s chin. I’ve grown a lot these past moons! As the meeting ended and the clan dispersed, Rindlestripe trotted up and gave Daisytuft a lick between the ears. The young warrior embraced in her parent’s warmth. “You’ve all learned so much in PlumClan. I’m happy you, Hawkheart, and Hatchpaw are a part of my life. I couldn't imagine you three growing up anywhere else.”Daisytuft blinked. “Growing up somewhere else? Rindlestripe. What do you-” she didn't get an answer as the masked tabby trotted away to the medicine den. Instead, Daisytuft purred as her former mentor waltzed up to congratulate her. It was still funny seeing Willowmouse appear so serious with that rainbow collar! “You’ve been a brilliant mentor, Willowmouse. I can’t wait to boast my new name at the Gathering!”… And what a splendid Gathering it was! Each leader had something good to share, despite greenleaf’s grueling heat. Chanting followed as Hawkheart and Daisytuft’s named were announced. The ground shook as Rindlestripe purred deeply. Daisypaw smiled at them, but her attitude quickly soured when her parent padded towards BurdockClan for some reason. Sure, they smelled funny, but why was Rindlestripe so fond of them? Every Gathering she saw them mingling with BurdockClan like clanmates. Following the crowd, Daisytuft noticed a smoky brown she-cat staring at her… Weird. She look a lot like Willowmouse. Was that sorrow in the stranger’s silver eyes? Daisytuft blinked, and the BurdockClan warrior disappeared. She didn't see her or Rindlestripe for the rest of the meeting. tags: N/A ooc: (Took longer than expected but Daisytuft's first warrior post is here! We got some Rindle x Dove drama too. Keeping their meeting at the Gathering ambiguous... for now )

Havenpaw
With a cry, Havenpaw leaps. He and Cloverfur are training today, specifically hunting training. The toms pads skid over the soft earth, throwing up debris behind him. Havenpaw loves training- he loves Cloverfurs face when he gets a new battle move right. He loves it when he manages to impress his mentor. Hunting training, while still fun, gives him more of a challenge. As if on cue, one of Havenpaws feet gets caught on a small pebble, sending the apprentice tumbling into the dirt. He skids a few inches- hurting nothing but his pride. The tom slowly picks himself up, tail hanging low as he makes his way back to Cloverfur. “This move is impossible!” he mopes, curling his tail around his feet. He huffs, scuffing the dirt “Do you-” He hesitates, swallowing, “Do you think I'm actually doing good at this” Havenpaw can't bring himself to look him, eyes squarely facing the ground “i keep trippin’ over everything- its stupid” He mumbles- and kicks a pebble. --------- Complains about Lilacshade - Hatchpaw - asriseHavenpaw pushed his way into the apprentice den, padding over to his nest next to Hatchpaw His recent training had had him thinking about his friend more- and seeing him hot and miserable in the shade made Havenpaw wanna cheer him up “I'm sure Fawnstar is just waiting until you feel better” the -paw chirped “You’re just as much a warrior as everyone else- even when Lilacshade was injured” Havenpaw felt his ear twitch in annoyance just thinking about it- he knew he was being slightly unfair, but it wasn't fair to Hatchpaw first! Hatchpaw A moon had passed, and yet Hatchpaw was still laid up. The suffocating heat had not gone away, and he’d felt under the weather for so long now… But it wasn’t just the heat or the dizziness, it was also the nagging fact that he was falling behind. One moon was normal, but two? Hawkheart and Daisytuft are settling into their warrior routines… and I’m just lying here… He thought bitterly. No, Quickshade says I need to rest. Hatchpaw reminded himself, trying to shake the feeling of inadequacy. But it took another voice to properly cheer Hatchpaw up, which came in the form of Havenpaw. The apprentice came by after his training, insisting that Fawnstar was just waiting for him to return to duty and that it wasn’t fair for him to be held back because of Lilacshade’s injury. “Well, I don’t know if that’s fair… She didn’t choose to get injured…” Hatchpaw mumbled, though he was happy for the encouragement. “And even so, I might not have made it anyway-” He cut himself off as Havenpaw gave him a look. “...I suppose you’re right, I am capable of being a warrior, just as much as Hawkheart and Daisytuft are.” Finally, the rain had begun, and he had little to do except listen to the pitter patter on the stones outside as he lay in the shade of the apprentices' den. But despite the depressing mood the storm had put him in, he began to feel a little better, his head cooling. Auburnpaw had recovered enough by then to begin training again, and Hatchpaw was secretly happy to see the back of her. It was a wonder such a kit was a littermate of Havenpaw, with her short temper and habit of insulting others behind their backs. So one day, he decided to do something about it. “Uh, Auburnpaw… I don’t think it’s right to be talking about other cats like that… What did they do to you, anyways? And didn’t Fawnstar ever teach you not to say things behind cats’ backs?” Almost immediately, he realised that he should have kept quiet when the younger apprentice whirled around with her mouth already open to argue Tagging: moonKT60633 (As Havenpaw), polarized (As Auburnpaw)

Forestpaw .*❁ ________________________________________________________________________________________________* Is amazed at how skilled Rindlestripe is! * Is playing a prank on Rindlestripe
Forestpaw sighed as she picked at the healthy and rather plump Meadowlark she had caught earlier. It tasted good, and she knew she should respect her kill by finishing the meal, but she just didn't feel like eating. Thoughts of Auburnpaw had been gnawing at her for several moons now, and the worries had become particularly bad today. Forestpaw was happy that her sister had recovered from the heat, and with the season finally starting to cool off, she wasn't too worried about Auburnpaw falling behind due to illness anymore. It was just Rindlestripe...
The auburn she-cat took another bite, half-heartedly spitting out the bird's yellow and black feathers to blow in the breeze. A storm was rolling in. She furrowed her brows, a chill racing down her spine as the wind ruffled her fur. Was Rindlestripe in camp too? Forestpaw awkwardly looked around, trying not to be too conspicuous as to who she was looking for.
Okay, our thoughts are safe today, Forestpaw concluded as she confirmed that Rindlestripe was out at the moment. Once again, she let her mind drift. Making time for deep thoughts was becoming a normal occurrence for the young cat. There was lots for apprentices to think about!
To start, Forestpaw replayed her recent memories of Rindlestripe, trying to get a gauge for how she felt about the warrior. The first feeling and memory that popped into Forestpaw's mind was witnessing Rindlestripe argue with her own mentor when she had been a kit and he had still been an apprentice. That day, Goldpaw had tried acquire Rindlestripe's blackbird, but the warrior had denied him and had taken the bird to the sick Shinepaw instead. Afterwards, Forestkit had witnessed Rindlestripe invite Hatchpaw on patrol as well, filling in for Lilacshade when she had been in the medicine cat den. Both were noble and honorable actions from a cat who clearly had the skill and capacity to think about more than just themselves.
However, Forestpaw still felt that there was a rift between Rindlestripe and Auburnpaw. And whether it be just a figment of her imagination or not, Forestpaw wanted to do something about it and see her sister succeed anyways. There had to be something she could do...
Perhaps I could pull a prank of some sort on Rindlestripe, Forestpaw thought, whipping her tail in excitement. "If I wanted to show that Auburnpaw cared about Rindlestripe too, I could do that!" The she-cat was getting too excited to keep her thoughts inside her own head. Whispering to herself, she continued, "Auburnpaw and I have the same colored fur! I could spruce up Rindlestripe's nest and leave a tuft of hair as a signature, and Rindlestripe would never know the difference!" The she-cat smiled to herself and quickly got up, snatching a few soft feathers from the meadowlark. Abandoning her kill, she stashed the feathers behind the warrior's den and abruptly left camp to gather fresh moss.
_____________________________________________________________________________ OOC: I'm not going to directly tag anyone, as Forestpaw is just interacting with herself. This post can be used for some of the relationship pips though if anyone is feeling creative.

Auburnpaw
- Moss collecting with Rindlestripe
- Caught Fawnstar talking about her
- Argues with Hatchpaw
Auburnpaw walked out of the camp, tail high, with Rindlestripe following close behind. She was relieved to finally be out of the medicine den, and out on a patrol. Her mentor told her that they were going moss collecting, and Auburnpaw felt a twang of envy as she saw her littermate Havenpaw leave with Cloverfur for hunting training. As if that’s fair! While I’m stuck on moss collecting duty! she thought to herself with a snort. Eventually, the two cats came to a stop. Rindlestripe started to demonstrate how to collect the moss from the bottom of the tree, but Auburnpaw could barely listen. She started to try and scrape out the moss, but it seemed to only get stuck in her claws as she did so. Rindlestripe sighed, and tried to help Auburnpaw. ”I’ve almost got it!” she ignored Rindlestripe’s help, annoyed at the fact they thought she wasn’t even good enough to collect some moss. It wasn’t long until the two grew frustrated with each other, and headed back to the camp empty pawed. As she was padding through the entrance, Rindlestripe took the lead, and she felt embarrassed and annoyed as she saw the glares she got from her clanmates. Why don’t any of them trust me? She growled to herself. She walked over to the fresh-kill pile to pick up a mouse, and overheard Fawnstar talking to some other warriors about her. Even her own mother didn’t trust her, and how could she? She had failed to collect some moss. Auburnpaw took the mouse, and started to walk back to the apprentices den, before being stopped by Hatchpaw. Her fur bristled at Hatchpaw’s words, as if this day could have been any worse, ”You wouldn’t understand! Keep your thoughts to yourself!” She snapped, and stormed back to her nest. Fawnstar »
Rats were not a common menu item for PlumClan. Mice were always in abundance between them shuffling about in the leaf litter of the woods and hiding among the grasses of the farm, but rats were different. They typically stayed far away from PlumClan territory, only a few bold ones strolling in from time to time.
And now was one of those times.
Fawnstar’s blue eyes narrowed as she watched Lilacshade draw near, the lilac colored molly intent on capturing the rat and making it a meal for one of their Clanmates. Leopardcry and Blizzardkit would surely enjoy the plump creature. It was large enough for the mother and daughter pair to eat on it for a few meals, though as a mother herself and knowing how picky kits could be, Fawnstar doubted little Blizzardkit would want to eat rat a few times in a row.
A strangled hiss quickly grabbed Fawnstar’s attention. The tortoiseshell wasted no time in reacting, swiveling around on her paws as she noticed the rat rear up and flash its oddly sharp rodent teeth at Lilacshade. With how rare it happened it was hard to imagine a prey animal attacking a cat, and harder yet to imagine a creature such as a rat going after a cat, but it happened, and Fawnstar wasn’t about to let her Clanmate get attacked. A rat bite was nothing to laugh about - infection could set in quick and painfully. PlumClan didn’t need one of its warriors succumbing to infection with leaf-fall painting the land.
Squaring herself up and side stepping to the left, Fawnstar angled herself just right before pouncing. A hiss left her lips as paws slammed down into the rodent’s body, paws soon followed by teeth that slipped through fur and punctured flesh, blood rushing into the leader’s mouth as she made a quick kill. The rat soon fell limp underneath her. With triumph she raised her head high, the rat dangling from her jaws, no longer a threat to Lilacshade or Hawkheart, and now a plump meal for one of her Clanmates to share.

Cloverfur - Training patrol with Havenpaw!
Cloverfur led Havenpaw out of camp, towards where they usually trained. He had planned some hunting practice today, because well... It was something Havenpaw needed to work on. Under his guidance Havenpaw had become a pretty good fighter but his hunting skills were average for a cat his age. They needed to work one that.
Once they had arrived, Cloverfur started on some basic hunting crouches, mouse, rabbit, vole, bird. Havenpaw worked on them, and somewhat got them down. This was all expected, but they needed to go out and search for real prey. That would be the ultimate test.
The mentor-apprentice pair padded for a bit before Cloverfur made them stop. He scented the air, confirming that there was a bird nearby. "Scent the air, Havenpaw. If you scent anything, go for it." He murmured in Havenpaw's ear, taking a step back.
Havenpaw picked up the scent trail fast, creeping toward the bird. It was nibbling on the ground, probably searching for worms. Havenpaw got closer and closer... then stumbled on a twig. Cloverfur sighed, and the bird flew away.
“This move is impossible!" Do you- Do you think I'm actually doing good at this i keep trippin’ over everything- its stupid” Havenpaw said, kicking a pebble. Cloverfur sighed again, not unkindly.
"You're doing great Havenpaw! Birds are hard to catch, even a full grown warrior stumbles sometimes. With practice you will get it, believe me. You wouldn't be, but when I started training, I was really bad at fighting! I didn't even want to try, because I knew I would just fail again. In fact, Fawnstar was my mentor. She helped me pull through, and look at me now!" Cloverfur grinned at Havenpaw, bumping him in the side. "Now.. do you want to go back to camp or do you want to try again?"

Duskfeather- Training with Willowmouse Earlier that day, Duskfeather couldn’t stop thinking about battle tactics. The thought of war still clouded his mind, not leaving despite his best efforts. At first he tried to reassure himself that it was all in his head, but after the recent incident at the border with BurdockClan, it was hard to deny that relations were strained at best. From individual battle techniques to strategies of war, Duskfeather, out of everyone, had to be the one to worry about them. Sometimes he wished time would pass quicker, and he could become an elder, telling himself that there is nothing he can do to influence clan politics anymore. But he wouldn’t give in to the temptation. Not yet at least. PlumClan needed him. After much thought, Duskfeather decided that the best way to take his mind of things was to find someone to test these new battle out with. After a quick look in camp, he picked Willowmouse. She was the most experienced warrior in the clan, Fawnstar’s former mentor, and a cat who Duskfeather respected a lot. Out of everyone in the clan, she would definitely be the best at helping him! The deputy walked up to Willowmouse and bowed his head politely: “Good morning, Willowmouse. I’ve been thinking about some battle techniques and I need someone to test them with. I was wondering if you could help, since you are a wise and experienced warrior in your own right. I await you at the training grounds by sun high.” The two cats arrived by the training grounds, Duskfeather being eager to show his clan mate his ideas. “This is all in the testing phase for now. If you have any feedback or advice I would be more than happy to hear it.” The deputy proceeded to show Willowmouse the two battle moves he thought had the most potential. “My first idea is a bold maneuver, where you throw yourself with you full body into the opponents side, with the intent to destabilize them. Then, quickly get back on your feet and try to bite and claw at your prone opponent. My other idea is one that requires high agility. You jump onto the side of a tree and bounce onto your opponent from above, trying to get them into a vulnerable position.”. As the training continued, Duskfeather tested both of the new techniques with Willowmouse. Duskfeather- Wonders what the barn cats are like/Has a long conversation with Fogshard With all the worries about war that he had been having recently, one group Duskfeather was surprised never crossed his mind were the barn cats. The deputy was surprised about how peaceful relations with them had been in the past year. No skirmishes or hostilities, just peace. It’s…. strange. The barn cats had an entirely different culture to the clan cats, yet, somehow, PlumClan had less problems from them then the other clans. Could it be that the clans bickered because they were similar? The more he thought about it, the more he began to wonder about the barn group. How different were they really? How did they form? Does their society have their own rules, like something similar to the Warrior Code? So many questions that he won’t ever get an answer to… But, between all of his deputy duties, Duskfeather does sometimes get a break. A break he sometimes uses to converse with his clan mates. He scanned camp to see if the cat he was looking for was in sight. Fogshard. There he was. The young grey tabby had always been an adventurous and kind soul. He reminded Duskfeather of his own sister, when she was younger, before she… Surely Fogshard would indulge Duskfeather in a chat. The other hadn’t gotten too many opportunities to talk, especially with how busy the deputy was, but out of everyone, Fogshard was sure to appreciate a wish for coexistence. ”Curios group the barn cats are, aren’t they?” Duskfeather said as he walked up to his clan mate. “So similar to us in some ways, yet so different in so many other ways. Where did they come from? How did they form? How different is their lifestyle from ours? How many other groups of cats similar to them are there that we will never meet, being confined to our territory? We probably won’t receive answers to these questions in our lifetimes, maybe only when we join StarClan and gain their omniscience. Despite all of this, we live peacefully with them as our neighbors. Or as peacefully as we can. It’s the same situation with the other clans too, if you think about it. Our peace is fragile, and the slightest of border trespassing could ruin it.” He sighed briefly, and then continued. “Even cats who don’t want to fight will sometimes have to, out of fear that we or our loved ones will get hurt.” He looked into Fogshard’s eyes. “Tell me Fogshard, do you believe that all us, the clans and the barn cats, could work together to stop all this death and create a better world?” Tagging jaybun! Golddusk-Border patrol with Forestpaw and Leopardcry Golddusk walked along the border with the rest of the patrol. With the arrival of autumn, the weather had become much cooler and less harsh than last moon. However, the arrival of autumn and the approach of winter also meant that the prey will grow increasingly more difficult to catch. Golddusk could hear the rumbling of thunder in the distance, signifying the approach of an oncoming thunderstorm. Golddusk hoped that they will be able to finish their border patrol soon before they end up getting caught in the middle of a storm. A movement in the distance caught Golddusk’s eyes. He paused for a moment in order to get a better view of what the movement was. There, on Plumclan’s side of the border were two cats hunting. One of these cats had already caught a mouse and the other had caught a bird. Golddusk could tell by the scent carried on the wind that these two cats were of Burdockclan. He felt furious. It was bad enough that the clan had to deal with harsh weather the past moon and now there’s a rival clan trying to steal from them! “There’s two Burdockclan cats on our territory over there!” Golddusk told Forestpaw and Leopardcry, pointing with his tail at the location of the two prey thieves. He then charged ahead, determined to drive the Burdockclan cats out of Plumclan territory and back across the stream where they belong. tigersdoroar

WILLOWMOUSE Training with Duskfeather! - is glad to see Leopardcry doing well - x Willowmouse watches Duskfeather pad off, mentally filing away the meeting time. She'd help regardless, but if the deputy himself gives you such high praise; it's a fairly potent motivator, even for a molly as gloomy as herself. Her schedule had been torn wide open by Daisytuft's recent graduation as it was. If she was watching Leopardcry's little kit with some interest- well, that would be between herself and Starclan.
Speaking of, Willowmouse watched Leopardcry squeeze out of the nursery entrance. The young warrior looked good for being a new mother, especially one so... young. It was hard to believe that Fawnstar had mentored her only a few moons ago! She bit back an exasperated huff, glancing at the sun's steady rise. Sun-high was only a little ways off, better to catch something to eat before lending Duskfeather a paw. Sending her silent well wishes to Leopardcry and Blizzardkit, Willowmouse slunk off.
A shrew and some artfully last minute sunbathing later, Willowmouse joined their hard-working deputy within the training hollow. Duskfeather was eager to begin, starting with a move that had the tom ramming into her side!
She bit back a hiss, the wind throughly knocked out of her sides. Duskfeather attempted to swipe at her in her distraction, but a hit like that took some steadying on both sides. Willowmouse danced out of the other's reach, locking them once again in a stalemate. With a great big huff, she licked down the ruffled fur on her chest. The move left something to be desired. While it did catch another cat by surprise, any advantage was easily lost without the ability for the rammer to press on it. But...
"It has some merit. But it may be better suited for a pair, rather than one warrior alone." Willowmouse suggested. Not only would it give the ramming cat a moment to gather themselves, the second could immediately punish the new opening.

Duskfeather- Snap storm with Hatchhusk It was a nice, clear day outside. There had been no more signs of the badger Duskfeather and his patrol mates discovered last moon. It fact, it had been a pretty peaceful moon thus far. A new queen with four kits joined the clan. It was a lot more mouths to feed, but the deputy knew that in due time, they would repay PlumClan for their efforts. Duskfeather was leading a hunting patrol with Hatchhusk, PlumClan’s newest warrior. Fawnstar finally decided to make him a warrior, after two moon of delaying. Duskfeather felt bad for him; not graduating with his litter mates must have hurt. But this patrol was also a slight test, to see how good Hatchhusk had become at hunting. ”Alright, I’ll head east, you head west, and we’ll meet up back here when we’re done hunting.” And Duskfeather headed of. It was a long, uneventful hunt, however. The deputy was stalking a rather skinny mouse, better then nothing, when he suddenly felt a wet drop on his paw. Was it left over dew? No, the last storm had been days ago, but then… Another one. Then two drops at the same time. The mouse had noticed it too, and Duskfeather had to pounce. In just a few seconds, rain started all over him, the wind was blowing the trees in any direction, and from a distance, thunder could be heard. This was the worst storm PlumClan had seen in a while. Duskfeather knew he had to check on Hatchhusk. He ran as fast as he could, jumping over the mud and through the rain. Eventually, hew arrived at their meeting spot. But Hatchhusk was nowhere to be found. No… “Hatchhusk!” He cried out. What if he was too late? What if he was taken by the storm while hunting? What if- Duskfeather felt his clan mates scent nearby. Thank StarClan! He ran up to the nearby bush and saw Hatchhusk huddled up. “Hatchhusk! Are you ok?” Tagging asrise

HatchhuskWarrior Ceremony As the seasons turned and the weather cooled, Hatchpaw began to improve. Only a few days after he was out and about, Fawnstar had asked him to be ready for his assessment. Even though he was shaking with nervousness, he managed to succeed, being greeted with the satisfied expression of Lilacshade and those oh-so-important words from Fawnstar. “Hatchpaw, it’s time for you to become a warrior.”
So here he was. The sun was setting, and he was exhausted, but he sat up straight with pride as he made his vow to protect the clan even at the cost of his own life. Looking down to his clanmates, he found he really meant it. Rindlestripe, Daisytuft and Hawkheart look so proud of me now… And so does Havenpaw, too! I’m ready to be a warrior of PlumClan now, whatever it takes!
”Then from this moment on, you will be known as Hatchhusk. StarClan honours your integrity and patience, and we welcome you as a full warrior of PlumClan.” Fawnstar’s words sunk into his chest as she pressed her nose to his ear, sealing the deal. So there it is… my warrior name! Hatchhusk… He turned it over in his head a few times. Yes. That was who he was now. Hunting patrol with Duskfeather Hatchhusk strode into the forest with pride. His first patrol as a warrior! He’d waited for so long to finally get here, but it was all over now. It was still embarrassing to be so behind, but now he could finally catch up to his littermates… Yes. I am a warrior of PlumClan. And I’m just as good as them. He broke off from Duskfeather, searching for his own prey to lay on the fresh-kill pile. Almost as soon as he did, a drop of water splashed on his back, making him twitch. Not now! The clouds were dark grey, close and heavy with rain. In a few moments, it was a deluge. Hatchhusk groaned. Now he’d never catch anything! But the best thing to do now was to stay put… Duskfeather might get worried about him otherwise. So he scrambled to higher ground and found a bush to lie under. Soon, he heard Duskfeather’s voice calling for him in the forest. His scent got nearer until his nose appeared at the bush. “Hatchusk! Are you okay?” The deputy asked. “Yes…” Hatchhusk mewed. “I’m just waiting for the storm to end…” The two stayed under the bush until the rain relented, allowing them to return. By this point, the scent of prey had been washed away completely. There goes my chances of catching something today… but I guess it couldn’t be helped. He thought. Avoiding the large puddles that had formed, he headed back to camp with Duskfeather, feeling more unsatisfied than ever.Long conversation with Amberdapple Hatchhusk returned to his new nest in the warriors, tired and soaked to the bone. He curled up, hoping no one would see him. Finding too many eyes on him, he left and crawled under a lonely bush in the camp. Why couldn’t anything go my way? I try my best, I really do… He thought to himself. I hate hunting. Actually, I’m not any good at it, am I? It’s not like it takes an experienced warrior to bring back fresh-kill, but I still can’t manage that. He sat there, ruminating on ideas that just got worse and worse. What if this patrol was all a test? What if Fawnstar takes away my name?!
He looked up to see Amberdapple’s face in front of him. “Oh, I’m sorry! Was I… disturbing anything?” He asked. When she shook her head, Hatchhusk suddenly got an idea. “Amberdapple… What’s it like to be a medicine cat? I liked gathering herbs that one time… oh, and what about the patients? Do you get worried about them? I always do…” He remembered being there for Rindlestripe, Havenpaw and… with a pang in his heart, he remembered his late sister Shinepaw. “Not that I doubted you or Quickshade’s skills or anything… But I just want to be there to comfort them… I don’t know…” he began to ramble.

LilacshadeBorder patrol with Duststep and Willowmouse Lilacshade sat stiff with pride at Hatchpaw’s naming ceremony as he touched noses with Fawnstar, getting his warrior name: Hatchhusk. Yes, it was something to be proud of. But there was melancholy there, as well. When she was given Hatchpaw as an apprentice, she’d set out to break through his shell, and find the brilliant warrior he was. But the young tom had looked emptier than ever in the past few moons. He blamed himself for being behind Hawkheart and Daisytuft, she knew it. But now, he was a warrior. Duty would replace those feelings in time... Or at least I hope so. Good luck, Hatchhusk.
But now that she was newly without an apprentice, there was work to do! She stalked off for the border with Willowmouse and Duststep. Not much trouble had been given lately, but that didn’t mean that the borders could go without scent marking. As they padded around the border, a strange mewling echoed around the forest. What was that? Willowmouse began to investigate, and Lilacshade tasted the air, catching the scent of a strange cat… and milk!
Before anyone could do anything more, a grey molly emerged, with four tiny kits clinging to her back. Lilacshade gasped. What was she doing all the way out here, alone? Soon, she got her answer as the loner explained her situation to Willowmouse, begging to become a part of PlumClan. “Well, we can’t turn her away like this!” Lilacshade exclaimed. She was usually in favour of strong borders, but a loner mother and her kits were hardly a threat. In some ways, they were a gift. Lilacshade remembered how she had begged to become part of PlumClan just as Cherri had, and she considered herself loyal. And so too would Cherri and her kits, in time.
Walking alongside the loner as she returned to camp, Lilacshade spoke up. “Cherri… Hey. I have some advice. I’ve been in your place before. Remember that PlumClan isn’t a new setting for you and your kits. It’s a way of life. When Fawnstar asks you, tell her that you want a clan name, like us.” She smiled. “It’ll really make you one of us… you and your kits can be warriors, like me.” Cherri seemed to get the message and nodded, agreeing with her. “Good, I think we’ll be friends.” Lilacshade purred, casting a smile at Duststep at her success. Surprises Leopardcry with something nice Later, Lilacshade stopped by the medicine den to see her old friend Quickshade, listening to another one of her rants. “Can you believe that!?” The senior medicine cat huffed. “Me? Retire? You’d think I’d have lost all my teeth, the way he was talking about me!” Lilacshade restrained herself from rolling her eyes. Quickshade was getting quite elderly, after all. But she couldn’t bring herself to say that. “If you don’t want to retire, then he has no place asking!” She replied. “That was quite rude. I’m sure you know your skills. Oh, and by the way… Could I have those herbs there? Leopardcry said she wanted some for her paws.” Quickshade seemed satisfied with that response. “The dock leaf? Of course, you may give it to her. But tell her to ask me directly next time!”
Lilacshade flicked her tail in affirmation before dropping the dock leaf off on Leopardcry’s nest. Looking back, she took in the clan. The cats that had embraced her. The cats that she could call her friends. Cherri, now Cherriberry, and her kits had already settled in. She hoped they would be embraced just as much as she had.

Golddusk-training patrol with Forestpaw It was a clear autumn afternoon. Golddusk had decided that it was time for Forestpaw to take the next step in her training. Over the past moons, Golddusk had seen how well she had performed with her teamwork training. Now all she needed to do was learn how trust both herself and her clanmates in a battle. Trust was the most important part of working together as a team and without it, even the most well trained of teams will eventually fall apart one day. Without the ability to trust one another, a clan wouldn’t be able to function as well as they do now. “Okay Forestpaw, today we will be learning about how to trust one another while working together as a team. Are you ready?” he asked Forestpaw. tigersdoroar

Forestpaw .*❁ ________________________________________________________________________________________________* Teamwork training with Golddusk
Forestpaw smiled at Golddusk as he spoke, starting today's lesson on teamwork. Being influenced by and watching over Auburnpaw these past few moons had been a hit to her confidence and ability to trust, but the tortoiseshell she-cat had slowly come to admire Golddusk as a mentor. He taught her well, in a way that was usually easy for her to catch on, and she respected him for that. Trusting him to teach her today's lesson would come just as easy as trust had come over the last several weeks.
“Okay Forestpaw, today we will be learning about how to trust one another while working together as a team. Are you ready?” Golddusk asked.
"Yes Golddusk! I would trust you with my life, this should be easy!" She responded eagerly and continued to listen as Golddusk began describing her tasks. However, as the lesson continued, the familiar friend of doubt started to creep into Forestpaw's mind.
I can certainly trust Golddusk, she thought. He will always be by my side in battle. He is loyal to me, and to Plumclan. But am I trustworthy? Could I defend Golddusk in battle? I'm still a new apprentice... and what if... what if a battle became so fierce that it required me to put my life on the line for another cat? Could I do that? Could I do that for Plumclan? I'm not even a full clan cat...

Auburnpaw Caught sneaking out of camp by her mentor
Auburnpaw stretched out of her nest, then slowly padded into the clearing. She could hear the new queen and her kits in the nursery, Cherriberry. Auburnpaw didn’t know if she trusted them yet. They could be from an enemy clan! Auburnpaw’s mind flooded with possibilities, what if there was more trespassers on Plumclan territory? Auburnpaw felt her claws unsheathe, until she decided that she needed to protect her clan herself. My clan needs me to check our borders! She had told herself, and before long she started making her way to the exit of the camp. She walked confidently, tail and head high. She had been waiting to use some of her newly taught battles moves, which excited her more. She had only made it halfway to the border when she heard a disappointed hiss. She turned around to see her mentor facing her. Rindlestripe had caught her sneaking out of the camp. Tags: lazzylake (Rindlestripe) OOC: silly silly Auburnpaw

Havenpaw
Havenpaw was determined.
Well he usually is, but battle training with Fawnstar?? Havenpaw could feel the excitement from his paws all the way to his tail tip. Never had he been more set on showing off his skills- especially in front of his mama. Squaring up to the duo across from him and his mentor he had to suppress a purr. He’d always be play-fighting with Auburnpaw when they were kits. But something about an actually spar was much more exhilarating. He’d have to keep on his paws if he wanted to catch the she-cat off guard- he knew her tricks Rindlestripe was a harder one- it was obvious that the warrior was much bigger than the ‘paw. But Havenpaw knew how to use that to Rindlestripes disadvantage.
So yeah, Havenpaw was determined He shifted his weight a little as he settled into a fighting crouch beside Cloverfur- letting his mentor take the lead
OOC: In cherriberrys little pip thing it says she talks to Havenpaw, i wont write it but pretend he went over there to welcome her to the clan like the polite lil man he is Ps. OOC: Haven calls Fawnstar mama bc i said so

[ apologies for such awful replies, i've been traveling all day ^^; ] Fawnstar »
It was hard to believe that her kits were almost ready to be made warriors. In just a few short moons they would be standing before the Clan receiving their full names. Did time truly fly by that fast or did she just feel like her kits were growing up so quickly due to not spending a large amount of time with them? With her duties as leader it was hard to sit down and actually spend time with her kits, but that was something she had realized the moment she had discovered she was expecting. Raising a family as Clan leader was doable, but hard.
She slyly glanced toward Rindlestripe as the patrol headed out. As a parent themselves, Rindlestripe knew the struggle of not having enough time to be with their kits every day, but compared to Fawnstar the warrior had much more time on their paws to spend time with their kits than Fawnstar did. She loved her position as leader, but sometimes she did find herself wondering how easier her life would be if she had remained a regular warrior.
Attempting to shake these thoughts from her mind Fawnstar motioned for her patrol to stop. She nodded toward each cat, glancing toward them all, eyes lingering on Auburnpaw and Havenpaw a moment longer, love shining in her blue eyes for a split second. ”Rindlestripe, Auburnpaw, you will be going against Cloverfur and Havenpaw. Before any apprentice can become a warrior they must prove that they can overcome a challenging battle.” With a nod she signaled for the four to begin, stepping back so that Fawnstar may observe and watch where her kits excelled in and where they needed a bit more help.

assessing hatchpaw - asrise & warrior ceremony
One of Fawnstar’s favorite parts about being leader was giving an apprentice the news that they had passed their warrior assessment, and today was no exception.
After moons of being held back due to the scorching heat that had raged throughout the Clan lands the last few moons, Hatchpaw had finally recovered enough to start back on his training. After speaking with Amberdapple the leader concluded that he could resume his training, and by resuming his training that meant he could have his final assessment before, hopefully, becoming a warrior. It was past time for the young tom to be given a name, and Fawnstar wanted to see to it that he received his name as soon as possible.
She had decided to test both his hunting and fighting skills. Setting out with Lilacshade and Hatchpaw, the assessment soon began. While a little unsteady on his paws - Fawnstar presumed it to have been from remaining locked up in the healers’ den for some time - Hatchpaw had managed to catch a good assortment of prey, and once they had moved on to the fighting portion, the young tom once again had proved himself.
Fawnstar had gazed upon him proudly as she declared, ”It’s time for you to become a warrior.”
—-
As evening painted the sky with brilliant blues that soon melted into splotched pinks and dashing purples, Fawnstar called the Clan together for a meeting. Once her Clanmates had all gathered she called forth Hatchpaw, proudly reciting the ancient words that had been passed down from leader to leader.
With the young tom’s vow to protect his Clan even at the cost of his life, Fawnstar raised her head and tail proudly. ”Then from this moment on, you will be known as Hatchhusk. StarClan honors your integrity and patience, and we welcome you as a full warrior of PlumClan.” Leaning forward the tortoiseshell leader pressed her nose against Hatchhusk’s ear, silently welcoming him as a warrior herself.

Cloverfur Training patrol || with Fawnstar, Rindlestripe, Havenpaw & Auburnpaw Cloverfur had to admit he had been slightly surprised when Fawnstar had said she wanted to join them on their training patrol. He and Rindlestripe had had planned this session a few days ago, having brought the idea to Duskfeather so they could get together today. Really, why should he? They were her kits after all, she probably just wanted to see how they were doing.
The large training patrol made their way through Plumclan territory, stopping at the training hollow. Cloverfur stopped beside Havenpaw, facing Fawnstar. He supposed that she would tell them what she wanted to assess them on, and he was right. Getting in position beside Havenpaw, Cloverfur faced off against Rindlestripe and Auburnpaw.
Cloverfur didn't want to be too over confident, but he wanted to see how his skills would match up with Rindlestripe's. He knew he was a good fighter, but how good? Was he a good enough fighter and teacher to have him and his apprentice win?
Going for Rindlestripe, Cloverfur stayed low and dashed toward their sideflank and knocked into the older warrior. He couldn't depend on his size and weight in this battle, Rindlestripe was bigger than him. Hoping his attack had winded Rindlestripe, Cloverfur struck them again, "clawing" at the side he had previously attacked. Cloverfur risked a side glance at Havenpaw, (a decision that probably wasn't the smartest) and his apprentice seemed to be doing fine.
[[ I feel like I need to work on my battle scenes in general ha ha. I hope I didn't have the pace go too quick or something else like that <3 ]]

WILLOWMOUSE Stumbling into Cherri! - grumbles that Amberdapple's advice isn't helpful - x Willowmouse's joints ached. It was a consquence of getting older, but not one that she had to like. Amberdapple had insisted she take a break for a few days, but what kind of suggestion was that?! Her joints were going to ache whether she used them or not. Rather that she'd be given a few poppy seeds and sent on her way than to be confined to camp. Young cats, Willowmouse sniffed to herself, stubbornly padding her way up the border.
She paused to renew one of their scent marks, only registering a strange, shrill sound when Lilacshade didn't fall back in line behind her. What now? Willowmouse grumbled, mouth starting to open to scent the air for herself. The brown molly nearly jumped when the foliage rustled at the same time, an unfamiliar queen stumbling out into the open.
"W-wait, please!" The queen pleaded, her wide eyes glancing between the patrol, "I heard you can help me."
The four kits clinging to the loner's back picked up their mewling in response to their mother's distress. Willowmouse bit back a sigh, well aware she'd already lost this battle. Lilacshade's support of taking the poor queen in only sealed the deal.
"Alright, alright," Willowmouse huffed, flicking her tail to motion them all to follow. mentions Duststep & Cherriberry, @arise

fogshard patrol - talks with Leopardcry ★ Fogshard followed Leopardcry out of camp, confusion written all over his face. Sure, Blizzardkit was old enough to be left on her own for short periods now, but he hadn't thought the golden queen would use one of those moments to ask him to spar. "Leopardcry, what--" Fogshard was silenced by a snap of the molly's tail and his pawsteps stuttered before he picked back up, eyes furrowed.
The silence was only broken by the howling gusts of wind through the orchard's trees. The branches were bare: what few leaves had stubbornly tried to hold on had been dislodged by the cold winds days ago. Fogshard shivered, Leopardcry's silence making his nerves brittle.
Finally they reached the small training hollow, protected from the harsh wind by a dead, rusted tractor and a thicket of growth that had sprung up around it. It was here, with the wind howling dully around them, that Leopardcry sat, her fluffy golden tail curled around her paws. Her eyes were like the setting sun: bright, painful. Fogshard only managed to stare into them for a pair of heartbeats before he had to look away. "Fogshard," Leopardcry said, and her voice was exasperated. "Blizzardkit is yours."
The grey tom startled, freezing under the words. "What? That can't be..." his voice trailed off. Leopardcry's claws flexed in the soil, tension across her legs pulling his eyes back up to her face. Her sunny eyes were narrowed, somehow brighter, more focused, as she glared.
Fogshard panicked. "How was I supposed to know!" he mewed, his instincts screaming at him to flee. This was a fight he couldn't win. "You didn't tell me. How--"
"Really?" Leopardcry said, her voice as icy as he'd ever heard it. "You know how these things work, Fogshard. And she has your eyes."
The wind gusted, howled. He felt like he was being swallowed whole, trapped inside of a monster's maw. "Ah," he said softly. "Does this mean, um. That we're mates?" he asked, dreading her reply either way.
She didn't grace him with a reply, only another heavy glare before she stood back up and stalked away. Fogshard felt frozen to the ground. He felt watched. When he shivered, he doubted it was because of the growing cold. StarClan, he had a kit.
★ I was hoping to plan/write this when someone claimed Leopardcry, but no one did and well, this scene has to be written before the next moon. Yall will see why soon (; ★

Auburnpaw Battle Training & Listens to Rindlestripe intently. Finally! Auburnpaw thought to herself, some real battle training to test out her new skills. She couldn’t wait to show Havenpaw and Fawnstar just how great she was at battling. She walked excitedly behind her mentor and leader, her paws itching to start it already! Fawnstar had paired up the two mentor-apprentice pairs, which meant Auburnpaw was with Rindlestripe and her brother was paired with Cloverfur. She felt her claws flex in the ground beneath her, but with a sharp gaze from her mentor she sheathed her claws. Fighting like kits! Auburnpaw thought to herself. She listened intently to her mentors plan, and nodded when he had finished. She felt her mentor flank against her, facing directly at Cloverfur. She felt her gaze lie on Havenpaw, and with a yowl from Fawnstar, the training had begun. She instantly rolled over Havenpaw and the two continued to paw at eachother. Havenpaw
Havenpaw yowled, letting Auburnpaw roll over him, using the momentum to get on top.
He reared up and batted at his sister's exposed belly with soft paws- Springing away into a crouch. The tom was more than happy to tire his opponent out by staying on the defensive. He felt his tail sway- despite it being a mock battle Havenpaw felt the thrill of it. Not that he makes it a point to enjoy battles- most fights between clans end in tragedy- or foxes or badgers. But in training he let himself lose a little.
He shot a glance over at his mentor- meeting his eye briefly. Havenpaw felt a spike of pride- and some anxiety when he sees Fawnstar observing. He cant let either of them down! Swaying his tail a little more, he shot a smirk at Auburnpaw- hoping to goat her into leaping again
OOC: sneaking this in to pratice my fighting scenes- something very needed
