Auburnpaw Battle Training with Havenpaw
As Havenpaw batted off Auburnpaw, she felt herself hiss in annoyance. What a coward! He’s playing defensive! She once again ran into Havenpaw, with a yowl of fury. It seemed as if the young auburn she-cat forgot this was a mock battle. She seemed to enjoy battling too much, and suffered much when she lost. The thrill of the battle made her tail shiver as she swiped her brothers paw’s beneath him, and swung her paws at his ear, missing by a whisker and losing her balance when her brother had expected the move and ducked out of the way, and getting a good shot at Auburnpaw before she regained her balance. I’ll show him! Auburnpaw thought with a low growl, as she leaped onto her brother again, this time pinning him down. She turned to look at her mentor, who was still facing Cloverfur. She let go of her brother when the training had came to an end, and Auburnpaw raised her head high while she purred of amusement, her eyes glinting at Havenpaw. “Not bad. You might do better next time.” The boasting she-cat meowed to her brother. Tags: moonKT60633 (Havenpaw) OOC: also practising my battle writing skills haha :3

Amberdapple Conversation with Hatchhusk ( asrise ) What in great StarClan was Hatchhusk doing under a bush? The warrior had just recovered from heat exhaustion and became a warrior, so there was probably a lot on his mind. Maybe Amberdapple should check on him? As words started sputtering out of the young tom’s mouth, Amberdapple was caught by surprise. She didn’t know how to answer that question. “Being a healer is just as tough as being a warrior. Gathering herbs, treating patients, and sometimes… cats dying. It’s more than that, too. Talking to StarClan, understanding what other cats are going through and helping them. And- I think you make a great warrior!” Amberdapple added that last part hastily, in case the tom was thinking what she thought he was thinking. Not that she was against him becoming a healer, but that he had worked so hard to get where he was.
Blizzardkit Thinks Auburnpaw is scary (polarized ) When Blizzardkit woke up that morning, she immediately knew that something was wrong. Something was deeply wrong. The day started off normally until that night, the night of the Gathering. And then the warriors came back, and announced that Bubblingheart, the former leader of YewClan, was dead. The news struck her like a badger, and she didn’t know why. Of course, she wasn’t supposed to hear this. She was supposed to be asleep with the other four newborn kits, and Cherriberry, their mother. But she was awake. And she heard it. She didn’t get much sleep that night, and the sleep that she got was plagued by nightmares, the same ones she normally had, but worse. Why did she care so much that Bubblingheart was dead? It was the moon before Blizzardkit’s apprenticeship. Who would her mentor be? Hopefully not Rindlestripe. Not because she didn’t like Rindlestripe, but because she didn’t like Auburnpaw. The apprentice was so good at fighting it was scary. Could a cat have more than one apprentice? Hopefully not.

Havenpaw
Havenpaw shook the dirt out of his fur and purred. “That was really good Auburnpaw!” He wasn't bothered at his sister's tone, leaning forward to give her a quick lick between the ears “And right back at you, ill get you next time” Havenpaw truly loves his sisters, for all that Auburnpaw could be abrasive he knew how much she actually cared. Forestpaw too! His littlest in stature sister was a lot more skilled then she typically gave herself credit for
“We should try those moves again, just us-” With no mentors to get embarrassed when they messed up he didnt say, but he flicked his ear towards the group with meaning.

HatchhuskChanging Paths… The past moon had been a nightmare for Hatchhusk. He’d finally become a warrior, and he hated it. Hunting, checking the borders… it all felt like a chore. During his apprenticeship, he’d just thought that it was part of being an apprentice. But after a few patrols as a new warrior, it sank in. This is my life now. He was so excited to be a warrior. He wanted it so badly, it hurt when he didn’t get there the first time. But had he ever actually stopped to think what it would be like once all that was done? I can’t believe that I didn’t ever think about that… It was bad enough to fall behind, but it was even worse that it didn’t even get him where he wanted. It felt like… a waste.
The young tom looked into a stagnant puddle, studying his own forlorn gaze. Everyone told him he would be a great warrior when he grew up. But a great warrior didn’t hate his duties. A great warrior didn’t want to curl up under a bush when he couldn’t catch anything. A great warrior wouldn’t need to be told to stick with the path he’d chosen. Hatchhusk thought bitterly. But there was another option, wasn’t there? The smell of herbs, the work of quick, precise paws, the calming voice of a medicine cat. He’d become familiar, even fascinated with it during his spell of sickness but… could it really be him? Yes. A voice in the back of his head spoke up. Yes, it could.
Seized with determination, Hatchhusk stood up. I’m not helpless. I know what’s been wrong this whole time, now. And I know what I want to do, I know how I can serve the clan in a way I love. Step by step, he approached the medicine den, a new plan blooming in his mind. I want to know more about herbs. I want to know more about StarClan. I want to help bring the next kits into the world. He stepped past the barrier of the medicine cat den. I want to learn how to protect my clan, not just from rogues or foxes, but from everything that life throws at them. “Quickshade. I want to be a medicine cat.”Patrol with Quickshade It had worked out, in the end. Hatchhusk was now in the medicine den, memorising herbs and remedies as Amberdapple watched and directed him. The medicine cat had been struck by whitecough, but this had at least given him the opportunity to practise treating a real patient. The young tom was chewing coltsfoot into a pulp when he heard an unfamiliar voice behind him. “Hello, Hatchhusk. I’m Jamilah. I’ll be working with you as a medicine cat.”
Hatchhusk froze. Could there really be four medicine cats? “Nice to meet you. I’m sure we’ll… work well together” The tom managed to reply before Quickshade pushed past, asking him to go gather herbs with her. Hatchhusk perked up instantly. Herb gathering? That means… Quickshade trusts me to identify them correctly! With a slight nod to Jamilah, he dashed out of camp after her.
But it quickly became clear that the patrol wouldn't work out quite as he had hoped. We don’t have Amberdapple to help us…We have to find something! The patrol became tense under the new pressure. Hatchhusk sniffed for the scent of herbs, but couldn’t pick anything up. And Quickshade was no better, snapping at him when neither of them could find anything. “Hey, It’s not my fault! I don’t see you picking anything either!” He growled in a nastier way than he really meant. Being a medicine cat wasn’t going to be as easy as he thought!
Tagging: ivypool4life (As Quickshade) Wants to spend time with Duskfeather The two returned from their patrol cold, frustrated and empty-pawed. But this time, Hatchhusk’s foul mood didn’t last long. It was only a little setback, after all. There were moons of training to go before he’d be a real medicine cat. He took a breath, feeling a little better. He watched Duskfeather send out a hunting patrol. He always seems to have it all figured out… Hatchhusk thought. He picked up a piece of prey from the pile. Hunting. That was one thing he didn’t have to worry about anymore. The young tom padded up to the deputy. “Do you mind if I… eat with you, Duskfeather?”

Wondering healer!Hawkheart daisytuft and wildclove were on a patrol going on yewclans borders and putting down scent markers when hawkheart heard a noise and turned around to see a cats tail in a bush for a moment then dissapere he smelled rouge and flicked his tail so that his fellow warriors would follow him as he made his way alond the trees and large bushes. He stoped as the scent led him to a large clearing where a cat sat in the center. The she-cat was a old fawn rosetted tabby with dark blue eyes and she was staring at the bush as if knowing they were there. Hawkheart feeling as if the ct was no danger to them he walked out into the clearing and steped lightly forward. " Who are you? And what are you doing on our land?" He asked. The cat looked at him with no sign of fear and said- " My name is jamilah and i am a healer.I came here becouse i know quickshade and need to speak with the cat." He flicked his tail and daisytuft and widlclove came out of the bushes and sat on ether side of him. Daisytuft shot him a glance and he pulled her aside- " Do you think we ca trust her?" He asked his sister. Tagging- lazzylake (Daisytuft) ??? (wildclove) ??? (Jamilah)

Havenspots
Warrior Ceremony!
He could hardly believe it, standing beside his sister in front of Fawnstar. Warriors! A moon early!! He didn't even know that was allowed!! The tom could hardly sit still, listening to Fawnstar give her speech- her speech about them!! About Him! He raises his tail when she addresses him, desperately willing the purr to stay in his chest. He could practically see how proud she was in her eyes! He's proud too of his sister perched beside him- and when Auburnpaw gets her warrior name they can all go on patrol together!
“I do” He vowed after her words- the purr does not stay in his chest, especially after he looks over at Cloverfur- he's very grateful to his mentor for getting him this far!
He turns his attention back to his mom, puffing his chest up and feeling his ears heat as she announces his name- leaning forward
Havenspots. Havenspots..! The clan roars it around him, Havenspots!
That's him! That's his name! Havenspots heart fills with pride for his clan. He's a full warrior now- He can't believe it!

Fawnstar »
ceremonies - @ - & lets havenspots sleep in her nest - moonKT60633
The Clan was overflowing with new members. Not only had Cherriberry requested sanctuary within PlumClan's borders along with her kits, but a new medicine cat who had grown up with Quickshade had asked to join the Clan as well. Then came the newcomer Wildclove, a kittypet who had escaped the confinements of his twoleg den. Leopardcry was also expecting once more, meaning more kits were on the way. How Leopardcry had the desire to raise another litter back to back was beyond Fawnstar, but she applauded her former apprentice for such devotion to the youth of the Clan.
While there was celebration of new life, there was celebration for another stage of life. A stage in which every warrior dreamed of living long enough to see - retirement.
Fawnstar admitted to having choked up a bit when she had announced Willowmouse's retirement. The dusky brown and white molly had trained Fawnstar seasons and seasons ago, back when she had been a spry young warrior full of energy and devotion to give to her Clan. Fawnstar had praised the molly up and down as she welcomed Willowmouse as PlumClan's newest elder. She prayed that StarClan would give Willowmouse a long, peaceful retirement. The molly deserved it. The leader couldn't imagine a cat who deserved the peace of eldership more than Willowmouse; she had served her Clan with loyalty and pride, and now it was time for her to rest and let the Clan take care of her for a change.
Another ceremony the leader had teared up for had been the warrior ceremony for two of her kits - Havenspots and Forestfreckle. Warriors already... She couldn't believe it. Both of their mentors had come to her with exciting news, telling the leader that two of her kits were ready to graduate a moon earlier than usual. She had wanted to suggest waiting until Auburnpaw was ready as well - Rindlestripe had reported that while Auburnpaw's training as going well, the molly could be a bit...too much at times - but she knew it wouldn't be fair to force the two to train another moon when they had proven themselves now. Fawnstar made a mental note to spend some time with Auburnpaw later - her daughter needed support and needed to know that she was on the right path, but she just needed a little extra time.
Once the ceremony had been concluded, Fawnstar had settled into a group with her newly named kits, beaming proudly as she gazed at her two warriors, her two kits that she would always see her as babies. They were strong and capable warriors now, but she would never forget the first time she had looked down at them, so small and fragile. Auburnpaw would soon follow suit, and Fawnstar was already proud of her daughter for what she was to accomplish in the coming moons. It wouldn't be long before all of her kits were warriors.
As the day passed on, the sun sinking over the horizon as the moon rose, Fawnstar retired to her den once the celebrations had died down. As she curled up in her nest, she was surprised to hear the sounds of pawsteps nearby. Rousing, she blinked sleep from her eyes and found Havenspots near the entrance to her den. She motioned for her son to enter, purring softly as she leaned forward and ran her tongue along his cheek. He was a warrior now, but he was still her kit, and if he wanted to stay in the leader' den with her tonight, he was more than welcome to.
And so she settled in with her son, grooming him lazily until they both drifted off into slumber.

LilacshadeTries to set a good example for the younger cats / Kitsitting Beechkit Lilacshade bowed her head to Willowmouse in respect as the elder warrior’s retirement was announced. Willowmouse was a capable warrior, and Lilacshade didn’t know she was all that old, but now that she was in the elder’s den, Lilacshade came to the realisation that she was now the most senior warrior in PlumClan. Well. Now I feel old. That only meant one thing, too. She was the model. She had to make a bit more of an effort to connect with the younger cats. Lilacshade remembered with a simmering regret how she had failed to give Hatchhusk an interest in being a warrior for the clan. Sure, he was happier now that he was a medicine cat, but she had to do better if she was going to inspire others!
So, she got to work. She made sure to talk to Hawkheart in her free time, to keep watch over Silverkit and Amberdapple while she lay in the sun, and when Cherriberry asked her to take care of Beechkit for a while, she swallowed her dislike of kits and took the job. He’ll fit in better if I spend more time with him. Lilacshade reminded herself.
She listened to Beechkit describe the nightmare he had last night, about his mother being in danger. “Well, Beechkit… We’d never let anything like that happen. We protect all of our Clanmates here in PlumClan, no matter where they’re from.” Beechkit looked puzzled. “But isn’t Cherriberry from PlumClan?” he mewed indignantly. Lilacshade let out a small purr at the kit’s misunderstanding. “It’s not a bad thing, Beechkit. I’m not from PlumClan either. But I do belong here, just like you and Cherriberry do.”

Border Patrol with Fawnstar and Fogshard The border with the farm was Lilacshade’s favourite to patrol. The barn cats were unlikely to cause much trouble at all, being inside most of the time, and the twolegs usually weren’t much of a bother. After all, Lilacshade was used to being around them from her youth. As she followed Fawnstar and Fogshard along the road, she paused to catch a scent. Rabbit! And it’s close… Her eyes travelled towards it. And there it was. A gloriously fat rabbit, sitting just on the other side of the road without a care in the world. Putting a paw to the road, she felt no vibrations of incoming traffic. “Fawnstar… Wait here. I’ll be back in a second.”
Before Fawnstar or Fogshard could utter a word to stop her, she burst across the pavement, landing straight on top of the rabbit and tackling it to the ground, giving the killing blow effortlessly. She summoned all her strength to drag it up, over the road and into PlumClan territory. It didn’t seem like any of the barn cats had seen. She looked back at the others with an impish grin. “I think that’ll feed all these new cats, won’t it?”

fogshard patrol - Fawnstar, Lilacshade ★ "It sure will!" Fogshard replied with a grin, giving the older molly a friendly bump on the shoulder when she returned to the PlumClan side of the road. He licked his lip. It smelled delicious, and they were a border patrol not a hunting patrol...
Still, Lilacshade was right. There were a lot of young mouths to feed in the Clan and the rabbit would go much further shared between the kits.
The grey tom looked longingly across the street. He'd crossed it a few times (carefully, of course, and always alone) but he'd never wandered far, turning back at the first hint of danger or whiff of a barn cat's scent. But coming to this border, he always wondered what it would be like to just... walk down the road and never look back.
But before the longing could really set in, the patrol moved on.

Cloverfur Is named Blizzardkit's mentor & Wishes he'd had a small break between training apprentices! || with Blizzardpaw, Fawnstar Cloverfur stood, watching as Havenpaw was named a warrior. The tom had done exceptionally well, and so Cloverfur had asked Fawnstar if she could make him a warrior. She had agreed, whenever it was she agreed as well or was just proud of her kit, he didn't know, but he knew Havenpaw was ready. It turned out Forestpaw was ready as well, leaving only Auburnpaw in the apprentice den, for now. Leapardcry's only kit was due to be an apprentice any day now, and Cloverfur wondered who would be the young cats mentor. Maybe Duststep? The tom hadn't gotten an apprentice yet, and Cloverfur thought it was time, but of course he wasn't making the decisions.
It was this though that Cloverfur had hung onto when Blizzardkit stepped up when Fawnstar called her, giving her the name Blizzardpaw, and making him her mentor. He couldn't help the startled look on his face before stepping forward and touching noses with Blizzardpaw. His last apprentice had just graduated! He didn't doubt Fawnstar, and he was happy to get to train another cat, but shouldn't another get a chance? He wasn't the only reliable warrior in Plumclan!
After the ceremony was over, Cloverfur retreated away, to think. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do first, probably a tour of the territory, or they could do hunting practice. His mind couldn't help but wander away from lesson plans and to the free time one cat had without an apprentice. His head wouldn't be filled with lesson plans anymore, and he would have time to connect with other cats. He liked training apprentices, but maybe a little break in between would have been better for him. He could have trained one of Cherriberry's kits if Fawnstar wanted him to have another apprentice, but he missed hanging with his clanmates one-on-one, not having to worry about a younger cat getting mad or into trouble because he wasn't there with them. [[ I think he would be a very good dad, if he ever had kits <3 ]]

Auburnpaw Pranks Hawkheart | | Littermates Warrior Ceremony
Auburnpaw woke up in the apprentices den in a good mood. She felt great from the recent battle training with Havenpaw, because of winning, obviously. She felt so good that she decided to play a humorous prank on one of the newest warriors. She stalked over to the warriors den when Hawkheart was away, and placed a couple thorns in their nest. She purred as she slunk out of the den, only to find Fawnstar, her mother, addressing a meeting. She saw Havenpaw and Forestpaw sitting in the middle of the clearing, their faces told Auburnpaw everything. Our warrior ceremony! I—We did it! The young auburn she-cat felt thrilled to the bone, and purred of joy. However, before she could start making her way to join her siblings side, Fawnstar started the meeting. She addressed Forestpaw and Havenpaw to come forward. Auburnpaw took a step back. She quickly started to feel overwhelmed. It wasn’t long until she felt her claws slowly tearing up the ground underneath her paws. I’m as good of a warrior as any of my Littermates! I’m even better than them! Auburnpaw looked to find her mentor, who was watching Havenpaw and Forestpaw. He didn’t even look at her. She felt betrayed. Even Hatchhusk, the new medicine cat, was only delayed their ceremony because of a sickness. Auburnpaw wasn’t sick. She looked at the joy in her siblings faces. She should be happy for them. But she couldn’t. She hissed of fury as she turned around and raced back to the apprentices den. Didn’t her mother even think she was good enough? The thoughts swirled in her head, and she lied down in her empty nest in the den. She felt a low growl in her chest, and her head raced with anger. It just isn’t fair! Auburnpaw Assessment with Rindlestripe
Auburnpaw didn’t talk much in the assessment, she was too focused. She could feel how intense she was being as she chased after a rabbit and swiftly carried it back to Rindlestripe. Even her mentor didn’t look her straight in the eyes. She easily passed each of the assessments, but she had been too intense, too angry to focus well and she had made a mess of it all. She eventually snapped when she turned to face her mentor before they went back to camp, her eyes blazing with fury. “Why couldn’t I be a warrior! I’m one of the best fighters in the clan!” She hissed. Tags: lazzylake (Rindlestripe) OOC:

Duskfeather- Border Patrol with Havenspots and Leopardcry The patrol consisting of Duskfeather, Havenspots and Leopardcry left camp, aiming to check the borders. Despite the fact that she has announced she’s expecting kits (again), Leopardcry insisted she joins the patrol. Duskfeather didn’t mind, she was still a competant warrior and her pregnancy didn’t seem to get in the way yet. Also joining them was PlumClan’s newest warrior. Havenspots graduated early, together with his sister, Forestfreckle. Duskfeather knew it must have been discouraging at best for Auburnpaw, but it was true that the young molly’s ferocity was… scary, especially at such a young age. Sure, Duskfeather appreciated competent fighter in the clan, but not cats who want to spill blood. It may have been better to allow Rindlestripe to train her one more moon than her siblings. The patrol just finished checking the border with the two leg place, and they were ready to move on, when a voice interrupted them. “Hey! Aren’t you forgetting about me?” Duskfeather turned around to see brown and write tabby with a green collar standing on the fence. He didn’t seem to be hostile, but the situation was… awkward. “And you are..?” Duskfeather asked. “Call me Wildclove. I’ve been watching your clan for a while, and now that I’ve escaped my two legs, and ready to join y’all!” Wildclove responded, hoping of the fence. “Also, y’all need to check your borders better, you didn’t seem see me.” Duskfeather thought for a second. PlumClan accepted outsiders, yes. And while a cat who escaped their two legs does appear to have some skill, this cat seemed rather… overconfident in his abilities. It might have been better to consult the rest of the patrol. “What do you two think? Should we take him back? He might not leave us alone either way…” Duskfeather- Talks with Hatchhusk Duskfeather just finished sending out an evening hunting patrol. He had also been outside camp earlier today, so he decided to have a bite to eat. He picked a vole from the fresh kill pile and sat down. Lots of new clan mates have been joining the clan recently. The clan was getting pretty big, and Duskfeather couldn’t be prouder. And with Leopardcry’s new kits on the way, PlumClan had only prosperity on their forecast. As he was eating, Hatchhusk walked up to him. “Do you mind if I… eat with you, Duskfeather?” The deputy smiled as he answered his question. “Of course we can eat together. Congratulations on becoming a healer, by the way. Every cat should follow whatever path makes them happy in life, and I’m glad you found your calling.” Personally, Duskfeather wouldn’t have ever become a medicine cat. He loved hunting and defending his clan too much. But he did see the appeal of it; communicating with StarClan and saving lives. And he was confident that Hatchhusk will succeed. “I’m sure Rindlestripe is proud one of their kits has such an important role in the clan.” Tagging moonKT60633 asrise

Auburnpaws trick! Hawkheart walked over to they're den after the warrior caramony and sighed with tiredness-Been a long day! He thought. As he was about to sit in his den when he noticed a thorn sticking out of his bending. What is this! He thought. As he pulled it out he saw another three of them and then he remembered seeing auburnpaw coming out of the warrior den the hour before. He walked up to auburnpaw in the clearing and asked sturnly- "Did you do this?" Tagging- polarized (Auburnpaw)

Currentkit Thinks Cherriberry is the best (+) & is pestering Daisytuft to play with her || with Daisytuft Currentkit loved to be awake! When you were sleeping, you missed things. What if she missed her apprentice ceremony because she had been sleeping? Could that even happen? When was she going to get apprenticed anyways? Tomorrow? Later today? It had to be soon!
But when she got her apprentice name, she would have to leave her mother. Cherriberry was the best! She fed them, and cared for them, and let them sleep on top of her and around her and in the crook of her paws. And even more than that, she was with them when she was awake too! They still needed her milk, and so she stayed in the nursery with them, all four of them. When Currentkit was older, she wanted to be just like her mama!
Now it was about mid-day, and Currentkit was bored! It had only been this moon they had been let outside the nursery to play, and Currentkit wanted to see everything! She only had so much energy as a two moon old kit, but that energy was sure to grow as she did.
Lazing around the nursery, Currentkit found her target. She was a brown and white she-cat with eyes a lot like her brother's, Beechkit. Scampering over to her, Currentkit stopped in front of the cat's path, blinking her eyes up at her. "Hello! My name is Currentkit! Play with me!" She yowled, jumping about. "Please please! I'm so bored staying in camp all day! What about we play moss-ball, or you could give me a badger ride, or I could pounce on your tail!" Currentkit squealed again, bouncing on her paws. Her mother had told her not to force others to play with her, so instead she made it seem like there was no other option. She was so smart! [[ I love her! Little baby <3 ]]

Golddusk-Border patrol with Duststep and Forestfreckle/ is wondering how many kittypets live in the twoleg house This moon was an exciting moon for the clan. Not only had so many new cats joined the clan but also the fact that two apprentices had now been made warrior, one of which was his apprentice. After a couple of moons of training, he knew that Forestfreckle was ready to become a warrior. The young she-cat had been doing well with her training and Golddusk felt proud of his apprentice for her achievements. As the patrol walked on, Golddusk’s mind begins to wander once more. This time; however, Golddusk was not thinking about his dreams like he usually does. Rather, he was more curious about the nearby kittypets. More specifically the number of kittypets that can live in a twoleg house. He had heard somewhere that there can be more than one kittypets living in a house. How many kittypets can live in a house together? Golddusk wondered curiously. Two? Four? Five? How many is too many even for twolegs? As Golddusk pondered on his questions, he heard a loud noise from both above and behind him. He turned around to see a branch fall from a tree. He felt a huge sense of horror as he realized that the branch was falling towards Forestfreckle. Fortunately, the branch ended up missing her instead of landing on top of her. He quickly ran up to her after the branch had already hit the ground. “Are you okay?” he asked her, concern in his voice. 𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚌𝚕𝚞𝚎 tigersdoroar

Duststep Border patrol with Forestfreckle and Golddusk | Is feeling down... Duststep, lost in thought, slowly lagged behind her clanmates as the cats made their way along the edge of the windy plum orchard. She was proud of Forestfreckle, of course- how many cats got their warrior names a moon early?- but as more time passed since her own warrior ceremony, she couldn't shake the feeling that she still didn't feel like a 'real' warrior. She no longer had the excuse of being the youngest and newest warrior, and hadn't for a while now. She glanced up at Golddusk; he had been named a warrior only a moon earlier than her, and he seemed so confident and fearless! She thought back to the many little blunders she had made in the past moon, and how many of them had been in front of her clanmates. Do they think any less of me now? Or have they always seen me as that scrappy apprentice who could barely climb a tree or work up the nerve to leave camp alone? Shaking her head, the molly tried to put those feelings aside. Bringing it up would only dampen the mood, and she didn't want to ruin Forestfreckle's mood after her big day. Stopping to collect her thoughts, she peered over the ruined wall at the Twoleg houses nearby, craning her neck to try to see inside them. Suddenly, she heard a creak then a loud crack from in front of her, and whipped her head around just in time to see Forestfreckle leap out of the way of a large branch that hit the ground where she had been standing with a deafening thwack. "Forestfreckle!" Before she could even process what had happened, her paws were already scrambling towards the young molly to help her. "It didn't hit you, did it? Are you alright?"Crouching in a corner of the old cabin that made up Plumclan's camp, Duststep nibbled at the remains of a crow. She had been watching the hustle and bustle of Plumclan as she ate, and was now almost done her meal. Scanning the area, she spotted Duskfeather and Hatchhusk conversing over a meal near the fresh-kill pile. Duskfeather... She was admittedly a bit jealous of him. A deputy, who always seemed to be in a good mood (at least he was right now) and to have a handle on everything; I wonder how he does it. Maybe I could ask? Oh, but he's in the middle of something... I'll just wait... She finished her crow and crept a bit closer, trying not to make it too obvious that she was watching the toms converse and waiting for a lull in their conversation in which to insert herself. Cloverfur Training patrol with Blizzardpaw || with Blizzardpaw Exhaling, Cloverfur got to his paws and made his way over to his apprentice. He could do this, he had proved that he could. With Havenspots and Golddusk, he had proved his worth. He was going to start with a simple tour of the territory today, maybe head over to the Orchard to look at horses. They were cool twoleg creatures, but they also didn't make much sense. What creature would let a twoleg ride on its back?
"Come Blizzardpaw, we're going on a tour of the territory." Cloverfur said, flicking his tail towards his apprentice. Blizzardpaw hadn't been born in winter, far from it, but her apprenticeship would take place during the cold season, making it harder. There wouldn't be much prey, and the grounds would be covered in snow. Today the winds were about, blowing this way and that, and so Cloverfur brought her along, thinking it wouldn't be the best day to scent different creatures.
"Here of course, is the camp entrance," he said once they had left camp. "And feel free to ask any questions as we go on!" Cloverfur made sure his tone said cheery, and he had to practically shout in open areas to be heard above the wind. The made their way through Plumclan, showing her the training hollow, Rushing Creek, bringing her along to the Flowerclan border to see the The Ruined Wall, and finally they made their way back to the Plum Orchard. He had decided to save it for last, because it was closest to camp. "This is why we are called Plumclan, because of the Plum Orchard." He explained.
"Do you see those large creatures? Their called horses. They're mostly harmless, but keep your distance. If it accidentally stepped on you you could get very injured, and most likely die. Twolegs also like to ride on their backs, so where horses are, Twoleg's usually follow. Do you understand?" Cloverfur said, his eyes not leaving the horses until his final warning, where he looked at Blizzardpaw.

Amberdapple Sick, thinks Beechkit is too loud (asrise )
“I told you, I’m fine.” Amberdapple stubbornly insisted. “You need to rest. You’re obviously sick.” Quickshade’s friend, Jamilah, told her. Although... if Amberdapple did give in, there were three other healers perfectly capable of taking care of the Clan. But she needed to train Hatchhusk! She sneezed, causing Jamilah to look at her worriedly. “I insist.”
Amberdapple was tired. She knew that she should give in. So she did, trudging dejectedly into a nest in the medicine den. She lay on her side, upset. She was fine. She sneezed again, which led into a coughing fit. She wasn't fine. She had whitecough, she knew. She watched Hatchhusk, her apprentice, technically, enter the den.
“Well, Hatchhusk, looks like you have a patient to treat.” Amberdapple said before coughing. Looks like she could train Hatchhusk after all. So she spent her time directing Hatchhusk, helping him memorize different herbs and remedies, even teaching him how to treat Amberdapple herself.
She saw Jamilah walk in. “Hello, Hatchhusk. I’m Jamilah. I’ll be working with you as a medicine cat.” The young tom looked surprised, and it dawned on Amberdapple that he hadn’t met Jamilah yet. Eventually the two left to patrol, Hatchhusk with Quickshade and Jamilah by herself, leaving Amberdapple alone. She tried resting, but the kits were so loud. Especially Beechkit. Darn kits, Amberdapple thought, chuckling to herself. She liked kits. But not when they were loud and she was sick.
Blizzardpaw Patrol (Dew )
Blizzardkit was surprised. Cloverfur’s former apprentice, Havenspots, had just been made a warrior when Cloverfur was again called upon to train Blizzardpaw. That wasn’t normal, was it? There were plenty of other capable warriors to train her, and Fawnstar chose Cloverfur? Not that she didn’t like Cloverfur, of course, but she just thought it was strange.
Anyways, it was time to go on Blizzardkit’s first patrol.
"Come Blizzardpaw, we're going on a tour of the territory." Came Cloverfur’s voice. Blizzardpaw followed him, and as they left camp, he said cheerily, "Here of course, is the camp entrance, and feel free to ask any questions as we go on!"
Blizzardpaw had never been outside camp before, but somehow the tall swaying trees were familiar. Wind whipped her fur, blowing harshly, making the young molly shiver. It was leaf-fall. That meant it was close to leafbare. And that meant... it would snow. Blizzardpaw could remember the soft white stuff, despite never having been alive in leafbare. And the thought of the snow filled her with dread. “Will it snow? And also... are there hawks here?” Blizzardpaw asked about the two things she disliked the most.
They made their way past the training hollow, down to the Rushing Creek, then to the Ruined wall, and finally to the Plum Orchard. "This is why we are called Plumclan, because of the Plum Orchard."
It wasn’t as pretty as she had imagined it, but that was probably because it was almost leafbare. Suddenly she saw a creature that made her reel back in fright. It was large, standing on four legs, much like her. But it was so big. It must be a bear. She had heard nursery tales of bears: Big, furry, four legs, short tail. But that must be a mistake – the bears in front of her had long wispy tails. Cloverfur also seemed to be watching the bears, and said, "Do you see those large creatures? They’re called horses. They're mostly harmless, but keep your distance. If it accidentally stepped on you, you could get very injured, and most likely die. Twolegs also like to ride on their backs, so where horses are, Twolegs usually follow. Do you understand?"
Cloverfur looked at Blizzardpaw. “I understand, Cloverfur.”

WILLOWMOUSE Retirement. - x - x Willowmouse knew she was a stubborn cat, but not even she could ignore the aches and pains of growing old.
Her joints ached and clicked more and more often each day, and the energy she'd once had escaped her. Like it or not, she wasn't a young warrior anymore. Her duty to her clan was her only passion, it was all she'd known her entire life- the idea of not doing it anymore... well, it scared her. Willowmouse had seen the way elders slowly degenerated in the past. I'm going to end up the same way. That she couldn't do anything to stop it was even more terrifying.
But she wasn't foolhardy. She'd never put her clan-mates at risk over something like pride. Moving to the elder's den was still the hardest thing Willowmouse had ever done. @ placeholder

Hatchhusk Herb Gathering - Wind in the trees Hatchhusk followed behind Amberdapple towards a patch of herbs. The she-cat had recovered from her whitecough quickly, thanks to the help of Quickshade and Jamilah. And me, too. I helped make her remedies each day. He thought with pride. Hatchhusk was settling into his role as medicine cat, listening to her instruction well. He wondered about what the half-moon meeting would be like. He’d not been on one yet, and he couldn’t wait to meet the other medicine cats. Maybe we could be friends, trading herbs instead of bickering and fighting like the warriors…
As they split up to go search for herbs alone, Hatchhusk felt a wind rustle between his ears, whistling through the trees. His fur stood up on end as he felt a presence. Something was pulling him in the direction of the wind, and it wasn’t just the current. I need to go there… but why? But he didn’t need an answer to that question. The tom walked through the orchard, out into the cornfields… He was leaving PlumClan territory now.
Hatchhusk… Hatchhusk… He heard a voice calling faintly along the wind. “Who are you?” Hatchhusk asked, before shaking his head. It was just the wind. But it still called out, guiding him to a clearing beyond the cornfield. The sickly sweet scent of death clogged his nostrils, choking him. He coughed, before laying his eyes on the source. Oh, StarClan! It’s a queen… poor thing… The medicine cat circled the body, digging a hollow to bury her. It looked like she had died kitting. When he was about to shift her, he felt movement under his paw. He jumped back with a frightened yowl. Her kits! They’re alive!
The wind whistled around him again, but this time, Hatchhusk knew what it was. StarClan. These kits belong with PlumClan, where they can be cared for. That’s why I was led here. He picked up the tiny newborns by the scruff, burying the mother before returning with them towards camp, hoping that Amberdapple or Jamilah would be there to help keep them alive.

Lilacshade Border Patrol - Large dog with Daisytuft and Forestfreckle Lilacshade led her patrol along the border with the farm, keeping across the road. The scent of a dog wafted across the air, fresh enough to overpower the scent of the monsters. Great. That’s the second time it’s been lurking here, now. With so many kits to take care of, it was the last thing PlumClan needed to have a dog in the territory. “Daisytuft, Forestfreckle, stay behind me. We might have a dog on our paws, so keep alert.”
The patrol crept closer to the scent, in the grasses that grew along the bank of the border, their noses twitching as they worked out where the scent was. Lilacshade had insisted they keep cover. After all… If these two young warriors get hurt, that’s my responsibility. After a while of searching, she caught sight of the dog on the other side of the border. It seemed to be pacing about, but not bothering to cross.
“Hm. You two, check around for any dog scent on this side. I want to know if it’s been on this side of the territory.” Lilacshade meowed. She went to do the same, one eye still on the dog. That’s worrying news… We must be ready for it, if it ever decides to jump that road… She was aware just how dangerous dogs could be, and she didn’t want one anywhere near her clanmates.

Fawnstar »
Green Pond stretched ahead, its waters rippling as a cold breeze stirred throughout the four Clans’ territory. On a day like this Fawnstar would have suggested staying in the comforts of camp, but she knew the borders needed to be checked. With leaf-bare looming over them and cats beginning to fall ill, PlumClan needed security. With that in mind she had gathered Duststep and Wildclove to accompany her. Duststep was becoming a fine warrior, and Wildclove was new to the Clan. Fawnstar decided she could show him part of the territory while on this patrol, giving him a chance to see where borders began and ended.
The leader was not surprised to find YewClan scent flooding her senses as her patrol neared the border, but she was surprised to see movement on the YewClan side. Her ears perked forward as she signaled for her patrolmates to stay where they were; PlumClan and YewClan were neither friend nor foe, and Fawnstar wanted to keep it that way. YewClan was still finding its paws after the death of Bubblingheart and the ascension of Dapplestar. The last thing they needed was animosity.
It didn’t take long for the YewClan patrol to notice Fawnstar and her two companions. It was YewClan’s deputy, Heavy, who commanded the patrol, her steps confident yet slow as she allowed her own patrolmates - who Fawnstar could see were the warriors Pondspeckle and Hazelpelt - to near the border. Silence lingered between the two until Duststep came forward, asking excitedly about Mistleheart’s new litter. Fawnstar was quick to congratulate the queen, happy to hear that YewClan was doing well - she mentioned how PlumClan had an abundance of kits as well. They would not be lacking warriors in the coming seasons.
Talk of kits had Fawnstar thinking about her own three. They were all now warriors, capable and independent. How fragile and dependent they had once been, how they had mewled for Fawnstar when she was not nearby, how they had relied on her for meals and warmth… Now they were warriors. All three. The leader swelled with pride only for it to deflate when she recalled the news the Clan had received just a few sunrises ago. Mysh had died. The father of her kits had died without seeing his litter fully grown. What had caused his death, Fawnstar had no idea, but she mourned his loss. Hearing of his death had covered her with sorrow, but she knew she had no time to allow grief to consume her. As Clan leader she couldn’t stop and sulk in her sorrow; so she focused on the positive. She focused on how their kits had grown into fine warriors. She focused on the patrol she was currently on. It was better this way.
Fawnstar mentally returned to the conversation at paw right as Pondspeckle let it out that rogues had been frequenting YewClan’s borders. The tortoiseshell’s eyes narrowed; she knew of the recent member, Hopbramble, who had been welcomed into the Clan with her five kits. Had something happened there? Was the former rogue and her litter alright? Fawnstar shifted on her paws. PlumClan was very open to outsiders, but she would not hesitate to unsheathe her claws if rogues keen on destruction slipped past YewClan borders and into her Clan’s territory.
She flicked her tail in thought, ruminating on whether or not she needed to start making a plan. ”PlumClan is here to help should you need it,” she replied coolly to the YewClan warriors. If rogues were a threat to one Clan they could become a threat to every Clan. Fawnstar needed to prepare for every possibility and she silently hoped YewClan would be prepared as well.

Golddusk-Herb gathering with Jamilah
Today, Golddusk had been tasked to gather herbs with Jamilah. The new medicine cat had told him that they were gathering some rosemarys today and explained in detail to Golddusk what rosemary looked like and how to identify one. Golddusk carefully looked over at the plants, trying to figure out which one was a rosemary and which one was not. He hadn’t been on a herb gathering patrol like this before. The closest he had gotten was when he was an apprentice and he went out to gather moss with Cloverfur all of those moons ago.
“Is this rosemary?” he asked Jamilah, batting at the plant gently with his paw. “Yes, that is indeed rosemary!” Jamilah answered him. Golddusk nodded and then he gathered the plant with his teeth, careful not to shred it. He walked with Jamilah in order to find more plants. Suddenly, Jamilah stopped. Golddusk bumped into her, not expecting her to stop. “Why did you stop?” he asked the she-cat before he took a look around and realized where they are. They had arrived at the clan’s graveyard where the dead of Plumclan are buried. They must have taken a wrong turn by accident and ended up here.
“Looks like we’ve arrived to the graveyard for Plumclan cats.” Golddusk said quietly to Jamilah as he began to walk ahead. The two cats traveled together in silence for a while, neither of them wanting to speak as they looked for more rosemarys. After a few moments Jamilah spoke up, “Can you tell me about some of the cats buried here?” Golddusk thought for a moment. He didn’t know about all of the cats buried here. The only two clanmates he knew of are Shinepaw and Nightpaw. Still, this she-cat is his clanmate now and should get to know some of the cats buried here. “Of course, but I only know of two cats buried here.” Golddusk told her as he prepares to inform her of his deceased clanmates.
“There was a cat here called Shinepaw, who was the son of Rindlestripe and apprentice to Fogshard.” He said, remembering the young tom. “The other cat was called Nightpaw. I’ve rescued her when she was a kit and I an apprentice. She was also an apprentice to Fogshard.” Golddusk said, remembering the young she-cat. He couldn’t imagine how hard it would’ve been on Fogshard to loose both apprentices. Knowing that those apprentices would have never received their warrior names. He shook his head sadly. These apprentices are gone too soon. “They both are now in Starclan.” Golddusk said to Jamilah.
“Starclan?” Jamilah asked him curiously. Golddusk was a bit surprised at this statement but then remembered that this cat did come from outside the clans. It would make sense that she wouldn’t be quite familiar with the knowledge of their warrior ancestors yet. “Starclan is where all clan cats go when they die. Our ancestors resides there and so too do all of our clanmates who had passed.” Golddusk nodded and then he looked up at the sky. He sees that the weather is overcast and gloomy, making the day darker than it usually is. He wonders if the weather will clear up later when night comes and he gets to see all of the stars. Both cats then continued to keep looking for the rosemarys in silence.

Duststep Border Patrol with Fawnstar and WildcloveA shiver running down her pelt from the chilly weather, Duststep stayed close to Fawnstar and Wildcove as the cats made their way across the edge of Green Pond. As miserable as it was out, she was in quite a good mood after Fawnstar had selected her to join the day's border patrol- it must mean she trusts me!
She noticed Fawnstar's ears perk forward, signalling her to stop, and as she focused on Yewclan's side of the border she could just make out three cats who soon stepped closer. She wasn't too familiar with Yewclan's cats, but she recognized the leader of the patrol as their deputy, Heavy. Uncomfortable with the silence and tension building up between the two sides, she tried to recall what else she had heard about their clan, and remembered overhearing from a clanmate that a cat named Mistleheart had had kits very recently. "Are Mistleheart and her kits doing well?" As the Yewclan cats nodded in conformation, she smiled and stepped slightly closer to the border to talk, releasing a breath she didn't realize she had been holding. "Oh, that's good to hear. She had four kits, right? What a pawful that must be, but fate must really be on Yewclan's side to bless your clan with such an abundance of them." As her and Wildclove chattered on with the Yewclan cats, both sides sharing their clan's gossip and positive recent news, Duststep noticed that Fawnstar was oddly quiet. She wondered what was bothering the leader, but made a mental note to ask her later away from the prying eyes of the rival clan. It was only Pondspeckle's mention of rogues that seemed to snap her out of it and trigger an offer of help with the issue. The conversation quickly fizzled out, and Duststep bid a polite nod and words of farewell to the Yewclan cats as they returned to their territory- before they accidentally divulged any more sensitive information, she figured. Starting towards the direction they had been heading before being stopped by the Yewclan patrol, she glanced over at Fawnstar almost pityingly, opening her mouth to ask her what was wrong before quickly closing it as she changed her mind. On second thought, maybe I'd better wait. I don't want to put more on her plate now that she has rogues to worry about too.

Auburncreek Warrior Ceremony! {--} with Fawnstar, Havenspots Auburnpaw started the day with a large stretch, yawning, the sound of a meeting starting. She walked out of the apprentice den shortly after the new apprentice, Blizzardpaw did. The young apprentice had brought life to the den, Auburnpaw thought. After her siblings had left, the last moon was lonely and quiet. Auburnpaw would never admit that, however. She wasn’t the type to admit her weaknesses. But something interrupted her thoughts. The sight of her mother standing in front of the clan, and Auburnpaw quickly followed suit to sit at the front of her clanmates. This was it! The young molly felt the glares of her clanmates on her. She had to admit, she wished she had her littermates beside her. But she stood tall, her tail high and raised her head to face her mother’s approving gaze.
Her leader had repeated the ceremony, and Auburnpaw eyes glistened. “I do.” She meowed pridefully. She tried to catch the feelings that her clanmates had around her, some felt almost suspicious, and untrustful. She wasn’t blind, of course Auburnpaw knew how much her clanmates didn’t trust her fierce personality and harsh instincts in battle. But here she was, earning her warrior name. Auburnpaw purred, and stood confidently. At this moment, she didn’t care. She was rewarded for her courage, and was given the name of Auburncreek. She saw Rindlestripe, and for the first time, put their past quarrels aside. That could be remembered later, for now, all that mattered was her warrior ceremony. She touched noses with her mentor. I am finally a warrior! Now nothing can hold me back!
The ceremony was finished, and she made her way out of the clearing, ready for her first warrior patrol. Then she was met by her brother waiting at the entrance. He asked her if she wanted to patrol with him. She looked surprised, she hadn’t expected Havenspots to be so eager to patrol with the fierce young molly. However, she just nodded at him. “Of course.” [[My moody lil apprentice is finally a young warrior! I’ll continue the patrol prompt soon. And thanks for the code, Brownie! ^^]]

He watched her sitting before the group- chest bursting with happiness. He knew his sister would make and excellent warrior. He’s also happy that she’ll be moving into the warrior den. It was weird not having both his siblings scents around- hes so so glad hes got both of them now. He's sure he's the loudest, shouting her name."Auburncreek!"
ᓚᘏᗢ . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁ ┈┈ ☽◯☾ ┈┈ ݁. . ⊹ ₊ ݁. ᘛ⁐ᕐᐷ Hunting practice - Auburncreek
It's a pretty gloomy day for hunting- but it never hurts brushing up on skills! Thats his logic as he approaches Auburncreek, slightly surprised when she says yes!. He was always excited to go out with his siblings as warriors- so he was in a pretty great mood He pads along after Auburncreek, watching her hunt. After a leap he purrs“Shoulda hunted like that sooner and maybe you’d have made warrior with us!”He meant it to be a playful jab- but the moment its out of his stupid stupid loud mouth he winces. Not at all what he had wanted to say“That- sorry” he mumbles, feeling the awkward air prick his fur “That came out wrong” Idiot!
OOC: Trying a new thing for 'different time in moon' idk if ill keep it i thought it was cute. Anyways gosh darn it Havenspots!! keep yout mouth shut!

FAWNSTAR — reminds quickshade to grab prey from the pile ( ivypool4life) giving willowmouse advice ( jaybun!) Evening fell over PlumClan quicker than a hare sprinting the fields. Cats were beginning to turn in for the night, lounging about in the middle of camp and sharing tongues with friends and family before retiring to their dens. A chilling wind circulated throughout the camp, a reminder that leaf-bare was upon them and promising snowfall in the coming days. An overcast sky was the first indication that harsh weather was on the horizon. Despite the threat of snowy weather, PlumClan’s fresh-kill pile was full, they had an abundance of kits within the nursery with Leopardcry expecting more, and they had yet to garnish any trouble from the rogues pressing on YewClan territory. So far this leaf-bare was going well, but Fawnstar knew not to speak too soon. The season was still young and Quickshade had already received the scratchy throat and painful throes of whitecough. PlumClan was lucky to have so many healers among their ranks, but a wide assortment of medicine cats could only do so much when their herbs could wilt away in the morning frosts. Getting up to her paws, Fawnstar passed by the medicine cat den where Quickshade happened to be curled up nearby, the poor molly’s eyes watery. Concern was visible on the leader’s face as she mewed, ”Go get you some prey, okay? The pile’s full and the Clan wants you to feel better. Go eat.” Half a command and half a wish, Fawnstar’s voice was both level and worried. There was no need to deny prey when the pile was this full in leaf-bare. The leader stood there a moment longer before resuming her walk, paws taking her toward the elders’ den where Willowmouse was resting just outside. Affection vibrated in Fawnstar’s throat as she came to nuzzle her former mentor. Announcing Willowmouse’s retirement had been a bittersweet one - the old warrior deserved her rest after seasons of dedication to her Clan, but it was odd seeing her looking so old and worn down. It didn’t feel like it had been that long ago when Fawnstar had been a new apprentice, eagerly bouncing underneath her mentor’s paws. ”How is retirement treating you?” She questioned as she took a seat, wrapping her tail tightly around her paws. ”I hope you’ve been resting. Elders get aching joints worse in leaf-bare, and pushing yourself too much won’t help.” Much like with Quickshade earlier Fawnstar’s voice was mixed - a tease intermingled with seriousness. Willowmouse was sure to have something to say about the tortoiseshell’s ‘advice’, but it was true. If the aging molly wasn’t careful she’d put herself in pain when it wasn’t necessary. [ sorry for no fancy layout! I’m only able to use mobile right now ]

Auburncreek Hunting training patrol {--} with Havenspots Auburncreek followed her brother out of the camp, and she felt the gloomy presence of leaf-bare echoing in the wind, it wasn’t going to be long until it was here. Havenspots looked energetic, even if it was just training. Auburncreek felt a bit of frustration, she had expected when she became a warrior to stop all the training patrols of an apprentice, but she guessed her brother just wanted a reason to patrol with her. The two siblings stopped, and starting to practise their leaps. Havenspots was first, he leaped high, which impressed Auburncreek. The young molly wasn’t the greatest at jumping, her use of skills was much better in battle. However, she regained her posture and sprang. She leaped high into the air, and landed solidly on her paws. I’ve never leaped that high before! She turned to see Havenspots surprised aswell. The tom purred, “Shoulda’ hunted like that sooner and maybe you’d have been made a warrior with us!”
Auburncreek’s fur bristled. Did he have to mention that? She had tried to push the thoughts of her littermates ceremonies happening a moon before hers out of her head. Her brother’s mean words awakened a strong fury she hadn’t felt since a moon ago. She lashed her tail, “Well, maybe you should keep your jaws shut and understand how selfish you are!” The molly turned around in disgust. She didn’t feel like training anymore. She hissed under her breath as he tried to apologise. It wasn’t long until the training went incredibly sour, and the two littermates started to head home in silence.
