Also I headcanon that Heavy was so badly injured, she wasn't conscious and since the patrol had to carry her back to camp, they just called her Heavy because she was so hard to carry LMAO Whoever takes her can choose her name! She is such a pretty calico pattern tho ;-; I will be back to put in some starters after dinner; I think I'm in charge of cooking today. My sister adopted a dog yesterday and it's fallen to me to do behavior corrections on the dog we already have to make sure they'll get along once they can be properly introduced (the new adopted dog needs a lot of space to recover, so they have to be kept separate for a while; getting our dog to understand that there's a new dog around but she's not allowed to play has been A Time.) Even while writing this I had to go out in the hall to go do redirections haha and writing the moon summary I got interrupted like, maybe three times. It's day one so it should get easier; she's already doing MUCH better than this morning. All my dog wanted to do was lurk in the hallway whining and begging anyone in the house to open the door ]] [ Heavy is so pretty o: ! I hope she'll live because that pattern <3 I'm going through the same thing, but instead it's with cats. My sibling moved back home a bit over 1 month ago & she adopted a cat (she's the sweetest child ever) while she was away. I still have our first cat (he's a mischievous little thing), and it has been a Big Time trying to get them to adjust. it's been all of the emotions possible and I cannot wait for the day that they tolerate each other... if that ever happens. sounds like it'll go well with your dogs though! my cat whines at the door when he's locked into a room with his litter box, bed & food. he's known for his screaming techniques. is it easier to introduce dogs versus cats? I've never had a dog before. ] I don't think it's any easier or harder, just depends on the natures of the animal(s) and their living situations. Luckily, both the dogs are both good with other dogs and tend to be rather laid back/calm so it's working out well. It doesn't hurt that both me and my sister both have worked with dogs a lot before, trained many animals and have done the process of introducing dogs to each other many times already. We just have to be careful how we're acting around the house because it'll be months before the new dog is healthy enough to freely interact, so having firm rules on what behaviors are and aren't allowed now and setting expectations between them from what limited interactions they do have is key to making sure they won't develop any jealousy or territorialism with their respective sides of the house, which would lead to major problems when the barriers are taken down. It's a slow and careful process. I do hope your cats eventually get along!! Finding good and respected behavior blogs can be an awesome resource towards mending any problems pets might have with each other. Usually, there's a way to fix the underlying issues and help them both feel more comfortable around each other. And did you see the healthy sprite on the front page? That one brown ear and full ginger and white tabby pattern is just. So pretty. I hardly ever get calicos in Clangen she's a gift ;-; ]]

Mudfleck
Mudfleck walked idly through the tall trees. His fur fluffed out against the frosty wind and falling snow. It was weather like this that made him almost resent his duties. He was sure he'd be better off curled up in his nest, warm and toasty. Frostfleck and Spottedfur were a little ahead of him. Perhaps they yearned to get back to camp just as much as he did.
He opened his jaws to make a comment on it, but just as he did Frostfleck stopped. Accompanied with the scent of cat. It was no scent of any of the bordering clans. His fur began to bristle as he recognized the sharp tang of blood. The tom didn't hesitate when the deputy ordered them to help this stranger, charging after her until they came upon the victim- a crumpled bundle of fur, very clearly injured. Her dappled fur a mixture of calico and blood. "What could have done this?" He mewed, cautiously creeping forward the sniff at the she-cat. "She isn't dead."

camp clearing // with stempaw Nettle
Sunhigh came and went now that leafbare was taking its effect. The days were much shorter and gave way to longer nights. Mudfleck sighed from where he lay in the center of camp, gazing up at the darkening sky. All had been peacefully in the past few moons. Except for their apparent never-ending quarrel with FlowerClan. First Bramblespots's murder, and then Stempaw decided to join with YewClan. His whiskers twitched at the thought of the spirited young cat. He reminded him a bit of himself as an apprentice. Inquisitively, Mudfleck turned his attention toward the apprentice's den, wondering where Stempaw was.
--- medicine den // with stormpaw TheKeenGlint
"Stupid mouse." Mudfleck muttered as he limped into the medicine den, holding his paw gingerly. He'd been out on a hunting patrol and gotten so distracted chasing a mouse that he'd darted right into a bramble thicket. Now the biggest thorn he'd ever seen had found itself submerged in his precious paw.
"Icepath, Stormpaw!" He called, flopping onto his rump. He gave a dramatic moan at the stinging sensation he felt in his paw.

Scarletdrift -x-----------x-
The bark was low and baying, distant over the snow. Scarletdrift flinched, tail flicking upward, and it was only because it was leaf-bare and the branches of the low bush he hid in had no leaves to rustle that the robin he stalked didn't hear him.
Scarletdrift put the sound out of his mind, focusing on his pawsteps, drawing three steps closer, waiting, waiting. The pounce was an uncoiling of energy and while the bird caught the motion and threw its wings out in a flutter of feathers, it wasn't even close.
Pride flushed the senior warrior as he came up with the bird in his jaws. The dog barked again, even further away this time, somewhere over the low hill that hid the BurdockClan border from where he hunted in the lower forest. The YewClan warrior shrugged, trotting away from the border, towards where he already had hid a mouse between the roots of a beech. YewClan was friendly with BurdockClan, but he wasn't about to cross the border and an entire farm field to see what's up.
He fought enough dogs for the sake of BurdockClan recently, thank you very much.
-x-----------x-
cold
-x-----------x- He was glad for his long fur, the frigid leaf-bare snows would have been nigh unbearable otherwise. Still, he wished it were warmer. Scarletdrift grumbled, pulling at a scrawny mouse. It was more ice than flesh, hard as bark between his teeth, and it wasn't as if the tiny morsel of tasteless mouse left on its bones was worth the effort.
At least his runny nose didn't turn into anything worse. A cat always worried, especially during leaf-bare, but Icepath's strengthening herbs had done their job, even if they were bitter as mousebile.
What he wouldn't give to be somewhere warmer. There had to be a place, somewhere in the world, where it never snowed and prey was bountiful every moon. Where he could have a fat rabbit any time he wanted, and not have to spend half the morning trying to pry three mouthfuls of mouse from scrawny, icy bones. Scarletdrift grumbled as he suffered through another bite. -x-----------x- Icepath -x-----------x-
Her fur wasn't easy to work with, requiring constant attention to keep it frozen like spikes. At least in leaf-bare there was little humidity. Thank StarClan for small blessings, she thought, watching over her Clan.
Icepath's eyes found Stempaw near the fresh-kill pile, her icy gaze narrowing onto the apprentice. She didn't mind that he wasn't born in YewClan. She did mind that he seemed to have little respect for his elders, his rude tongue making her bristle more than once since he'd joined the Clan.
So she was wary as he approached the pile, her gaze judging as he picked a bigger piece than Icepath thought an apprentice deserved. She didn't say anything--it was Dappleswipe's job to oversee her apprentice's behavior--but her stern gaze radiated disapproval as she slowly groomed the fur on her shoulder into place.
-x-----------x- -x-----------x- Icepath spent the last three days methodically going over each of the warriors of YewClan, checking for early signs of coughs. She'd invite each to the healer's den when they had time off patrols, putting her ear to their chests to listen to their breathing, making sure they haven't had any irregular sneezing or coughing lately and otherwise inspecting their health. Icepath knew a single sick cat could spread illness to the entire Clan, and even if it was simple whitecough--easily treatable, low mortality--the loss of able paws during the season when prey was scarce could devastate the Clan.
She'd even let Stormpaw lead Mudspeck's examination and was pleased when her apprentice did just as thorough of a check as Icepath would have done herself.
Every cat was perfectly healthy. Still, she took precautions. She gave Scarletdrift plenty of strengthening herbs when he'd come to her with a runny nose and, thank StarClan, the senior warrior's sniffle had cleared up quickly and hadn't spread. She'd told every cat to come to her if they started to feel ill, reminded each of them that a dose of strengthening herbs was a better fate than an entire moons with a cough.
When they were finally done with the last cat, watching Frostfleck's pale cream tail flick as she left the healer's den, Icepath turned to Stormpaw. "Good work, Stormpaw," she rasped, her voice scratchy from the time she'd spent asking questions during Frostfleck's evaluation. "And thank StarClan everyone appears to be healthy this season. It won't always be this easy." -x-----------x- [[ OOC : I'll take over Icepath for now; when the activity checks are over on Monday we can reevaluate where the Clan is sitting and discuss some changes requested by yall's feedback. And whispering TheKeenGlint if you want to use the "small injury" pip interaction as Stormpaw doing his evaluation, yall totally can do that scene~ ]]

Stempaw - Arguing with Spottedfur & Talking to Icepath.
@gloomylatte Brownie
^--------------------------------------------------------^ "Psh, I have patience. This is a stupid lesson." After a long discussion about what knowledge Stempaw would be interested in gaining on that morning, Dappleswipe had unpopularley come to the conclusion of learning to be patient during hunting. This had then sparked the heated debate of why that had been unpopular, as Stempaw Thought knew he had already mastered the skill set. "It's easy- all you do is wait. I can do that." After many disagreements and further decisions, Dappleswipe decided not to teach him anything until he apologized, in which he had no intent of doing.
Then he saw Icepath watching.
Excited to greet the healer for a reason Stempaw would continue to push away, he padded over to greet them kindly, trying to seem angry so that Dappleswipe would begin to regret their decision. "Good morning, Icepath, how's Stormpaw? Did they find anything in their nest recently? I mean- How's healing going?"

^------------------------------------------------^ Dappleswipe-------Arguing with StempawDappleswipe's ear twitched in annoyance. Today she was set and determined to try and improve in an area Stempaw had been lacking, patience, especially after last moon's incident where the apprentice had almost been caught in a trap due to rushing after prey. Prey he had also lost because of impatience. Though Stempaw seemed to think he was a master in it, claiming her lesson was stupid. Stupid! She remained calm however, knowing when she was given an apprentice she was not guarantied an easy time. It was hard work raising up a new warrior. But by StarClan above, she would have never dreamed of talking to her own mentor like this when she was Stempaw's age. Dappleswipe understood she was a fresh warrior herself, therefore not as experienced as her older clanmates, but she was mentored well and she wanted to pass that knowledge on. It was only right to halt his training until he learned to respect her and what she was teaching him. Then Stempaw walked away. The she-cat's eyes followed him with copper eyes sharp with a stern edge. She turned and went right after the apprentice, refusing to be treated this way by the younger cat. Dappleswipe was a loving and gentle soul, always willing to help any cat in the clan who needed it. But she had a secret edge to her when it came to being disrespected, like a mother would, in a way. With a respectful nod to Icepath, not wanting to get her caught in the crossfire, she turned to Stempaw afterwards with a cold expression. A calm anger that almost seemed worse than raging fury. "Stempaw." She looked at him unblinking. "I don't remember dismissing you. Since you are so insistent that you have enough patience, you will be gathering moss for the elder's den. You'll need steady paws and claws, but that should be no issue for you, yes?" The warrior was completely unreadable as she added last. "Respect and patience make a warrior who they are, not just fighting and acting like a headstrong fool. Do I make myself clear?" Nettle (( She hates having to be like this but it must be done o7 ))

With a snort Stempaw cleared his throat and bit back a snarky reply, "patience may be something we both need to learn, because I was talking to our healer." He snapped, lifting his chin as though using Icepath as an excuse was a great idea.
Big mistake.
He at that moment realized this would be a costly thing to say, as he would be gravely punished for such behavior- so he immediately continued. "Look, I just don't see the point. Why can't we do something useful like go on a nice hunting session or battle training? I just think I'm already prepared with patience. That's all." Stempaw said, as he was so focused on getting out of the mess, he hadn't realised his Mentor's stare bored right into him, as well as Icepath's.

Icepath with Stempaw, Dappleswipe - Nettle @gloomylatte -x-----------x-
She'd lived long enough to know when to stay quiet. Icepath simply stared down at the apprentice, her blue eyes icy and disapproving. Even when sitting, her long legged height gave her plenty of space to look down on Stempaw. Icepath only let up long enough to give Dappleswipe a cordial nod as the tortoiseshell molly approached. Instead, she simply turned slightly to the side, drawing a paw over her ear to continue grooming, though she kept her ears towards the pair, curious to see how the conversation would play out from here and ready to step in if Dappleswipe requested it of her.

BUBBLINGSTAR - Patrol; Mudfleck, Frostfleck, Spottedfur
"Stars," Bubblingstar muttered from where he stood, just a bit behind Mudfleck and Frostfleck. Carefully, the pale tom tread closer; tilting an ear down to the sorry looking she-cat close as he dared. His eyes narrowed as he focused, concern mounting over every silent second- until the tell-tale thump-thump of the strange cat's heart rose above the mill of the forest. Goodness, he thought, how in the world could any cat be alive looking like that?
"We shouldn't move her," Bubblingstar said at last, somewhat impressed by the stranger's sheer tenacity, "it could do much more harm than good until we know what's wrong."

Stormpaw
It had been a busy leaf-bare for the medicine cats. Whitecough, greencough and even yellowcough all reared their ugly heads in this season, and Stormpaw had quickly learned to be prepared for them. The spectrum of coughs, however, didn't mean cats were less likely to take hits. Injuries, no matter how minor, were still of utmost importance.
Ergo, Stormpaw's ears pricked straight up when she heard Mudspeck call out for her and Icepath. She couldn't see it too clearly from far away, but yikes, how did a thorn that big end up there? Once she understood the size and severity of the cut, she'd have to disinfect the area.
"If you don't mind," she mewed as she passed Icepath to memorise where the marigold was in the herb stores, "I'm going to take a closer look. Might need these later..."
Satisfied, Stormpaw padded over to her patient, gait gentle as ever so as to put him at ease. She crouched down, moving Mudspeck's affected paw with slow, deliberate care. Hmm. The brambles in the territory didn't usually have thorns that size.
"Oh, dear," she sighed. "I should be able to disinfect the site and remove this thorn, but... Mudfleck, do you know how this happened?"

Spottedfur : patrol - with Bubblingstar, Frostfleck & Mudfleck Spottedfur padded closely behind Frostfleck, knowing that Mudfleck was behind him. The chilly weather paired with the snow meant that leafbare wasn't going to be kind to YewClan. He much preferred the warmth of the warriors' den compared to patrolling, but duties were duties. Some cat had to complete them.
Frostfleck's sudden shout almost caused the silver speckled tom to leap out of his pelt. For StarClan's sake, he thought with a low grumble. The scent wasn't of any clan cats, so it must be an outsider. At least that's the conclusion he would draw. Nonetheless, Spottedfur hurried after the rest of the patrol, his fur fluffing up thanks to the light snowfall. As soon as Frostfleck, Bubblingstar and Mudfleck reached the injured cat, he came to a stop. His silver gaze followed Bubblingstar as the leader stepped closer to the stranger.
Surprisingly, Mudfleck asked a decent question-- how were they going to handle this situation? They hadn't come across any injured outsiders recently. It was a rare occurence for YewClan. "She doesn't seem to be conscious either," Spottedfur noted, stepping forward to take a quick look at the calico she-cat. "Bubblingstar is right, I don't think we should move her just yet. Frostfleck, Mudfleck. What do you two think?"

Sand jaybun! whispering Frostfleck (On patrol with Spottedfur, Bubblingstar, and Mudfleck) Frostfleck ears flattened as she heard the gray tom, Spottedfur and Bubblingspark's words. She was furious at them, HOW DARE THEY SAY THAT! She stared at the unconscious calico she-cat on the ground, her fur matted with blood, and barely breathing. "No! We can't leave her be for now! She is gravely injured and needs treating immediately. She could die at any moment!" The ginger she-cat hissed "I'm deputy and this is my final word! What do you say, Bubblingstar and Spottedfur?!" Frostfleck ears turned forward, awaiting the response of the other cats. OOC: Frostfleck is one very concerned girl!

Dappleswipe
------- Arguing with Stempaw, roping Icepath in The she-cat's ear twitched again at her apprentice's words and his attempt to backtrack. Well at least he realized what he said was a mistake, because it surely was. "Yewpaw I am not asking you, I am telling you. One day you will understand. Patience is the foundation of hunting and battle training. Until you show me with your actions that you truly are as patient as you say, and not your words, we will continue your training in full." She was done arguing with Stempaw. Dappleswipe only wanted the best for him, and coddling him was not the answer. Perhaps I've been too easy on him up until now? She flicked her tail slightly at Icepath, hoping the medicine cat would step in now that Dappleswipe had made her orders clear. The young warrior was just that, young still, and having the older cat back her up would no doubt put her at ease. (( Nettle Brownie sorry for the late reply! work was wild, but I'm off for the next few days now! ))

Moon moon moon!! Also a few very big announcements: whispering Sand jaybun! TheKeenGlint - Yall have been here for 10 moons and as such have graduated to full members! Yall earned another claim slot and can pick up another cat whenever one becomes available!! quokka has been marked as inactive. They have not logged on to the forums in over a month and have not replied to any moon event for over two weeks. As such, BEESONG is now open and available to claim. HEAVY is also still open, though be warned that broken back + infection have a high mortality chance. :( She has a chance to pull through, but it's not looking good. Myrtleleaf sorry, but your form is denied. You're missing too many elements of the form which tells me you haven't read the front page. ]]

(( MOOON
Wow really glad they did not go after the dog even if their group is a decent size, Dappleswipe definitely would rather just warn Bubblingstar about it first if its not causing current trouble. Also another good lesson for Stempaw not to always be on the offensive.
Stempaw talking to a FlowerClan cat omg!! The drama is so good... Dappleswipe is gonna be calm about and ask who that was but knows that can't be good lol
And she's got a little crush on Mudspeck awww Dapple is on an emotional rollercoaster this moon! ))

[[ Yeah, other than that slight scare with Bubblingstar, things went smoothly this moon. It's a little worrying only having one event each moon, like the game is winding up to do something extra awful after being so calm for so long ;-;
Scarletdrift also apparently gave her advice this moon? If you have any ideas of what she might want to let off her chest to a senior warrior with more experience, you can totally start that scene. I really want to see where that interaction would go~ I might only have enough time this moon for a single call-response tho, so feel free to really get into it hehe
I'll get Icepath's starter up after dinner~~ ]]

Mudfleck
The snow had fallen heavily within the last moon. Now it blanketed the forest floor like a great white cat. Not leaving a corner uncovered. The faintest rays of light shone down through the bare branches, dappling the snow-covered forest.
Mudfleck pushed his way through the thick snow. It slowed him down and dragged at the fur along his belly, making him pause to sneeze or shake out his fur where snow had gotten clotted. He was leading a hunting patrol with Frostfleck and Scarletdrift, but they hadn't had much luck so far. The cold stung his nose and paws, and there was the occasional birdcall, but too distant to track. But Mudfleck's thoughts weren't as focused as they should have been, he was deep in thought reflecting on a dream he'd had.
Dreams didn't usually mean much to him. He often had simple dreams like chasing mice or basking in sunlight- maybe even the occasional nightmare. But this dream had felt... different. Either I'm mouse-brained or maybe... Maybe he'd been sent a sign from StarClan! But only medicine cats received dreams from StarClan. He wasn't a medicine cat, was he? Nonsense. He'd ask his clanmates what their thoughts were, perhaps they'd help to decipher it.
He stopped and signaled with his tail for the others to pause as well. They'd probably assume he'd caught a scent, but it was the complete opposite. "I had a dream." Mudfleck announced.

Scarletdrift -x-----------x- A dream?
Scarletdrift snorted, using a paw to skim the snow and toss it at Mudspeck. "Every cat has dreams, mouse-brain," he teased. "Last night I had a dream that YewClan was being attacked by huge ravens, like, bigger than eagles, and I was the only cat that could fight 'em."
Snow splashed around his paws as he leaped into the air, miming grabbing a bird with a soft mrow! He landed deep in a snow drift, the cascade of white covering him completely, and he floundered for a few moments before he broke free, spluttering, his fur spiked. Embarrassing! Well, too bad. He shook the flakes from his long fur. "So what was your dream about? I bet it wasn't half as cool as mine, though," Scarletdrift said, settling in and licking some of the cold from his paws, though his ears and eyes were attentive on Mudspeck, curious to see what the brown tom had to say.
-x-----------x-
the dream
-x-----------x- He slashed at a raven's wing. In his dream logic, the raven bled black feathers, a whole stream of them flooding down over his head like a waterfall, silky and dark. Scarletdrift spit one out of his mouth and grinned his most savage grin. "A bird doesn't stand a chance against a YewClan warrior, especially not me!" he taunted as the bird struggled beneath his paws.
In the dream, he was able to shake the raven's neck despite it being several times larger than him. It was very cool. Bubblingstar looked up at him with awe in his eyes, cheering Scarletdrift's name. A chorus of other faceless voices joined him and the white and ginger tom basked in their appreciation, feeling it flood his veins with strength.
With ease, he practically flew between the massive ravens, taking each of them down with a sharp slash or a bite. He was a hero and he was so, so cool.
A howling cry rang in Scarletdrift's ears. He stumbled to his paws, his claws out as he leapt out of the warrior's den, snarling, ready to take on a dozen, no a hundred ravens--
Cold snow slapped his face, shocking him awake. He sneezed snow from his nose, flinching back into the warmth of the warrior's den, blinking sleep from his eyes. Another howl, not a raven's cry as it swooped on YewClan's camp, but the raging wind as a storm swept across the ridgeside camp, echoing between the stones and the trees. A blizzard raged outside. Scarletdrift couldn't see the edge of the ridge from the warrior's den, the snow and wind was so dense.
He groaned and trudged back to his nest, curling up and flicking his tail over his nose. No cat would be going out in that, not anytime soon. His stomach grumbled and he grumbled after it, shuffling restlessly in his nest, but there was only a slim chance that something was still on the fresh-kill pile and it wasn't like he was going out in a blizzard to check. Scarletdrift rumbled his dissent again, wishing the dream would pull him back. -x-----------x- Icepath -x-----------x-
Her paws ached from the snow. It stuck in between her pawpads, grabbing hold of the long, curling fur there and freezing into clumps that made it difficult to walk any distance without stopping to clear them with a few sharp licks. Unfortunately, their destination wasn't close, but YewClan's stock was desperately short on moss now that they had a cat with a broken back to care for.
Icepath had never seen that injury herself. It was rare that a cat lived long enough to be treated with an injury so severe, but the silver smoke healer was trying her best with what knowledge she had. And now infection... she thought, panic fluttering in her chest, making her paws move faster against the rough ice.
"There won't be fresh moss in the forest for another moon," Icepath mewed, turning slightly to face Stormpaw. When had her apprentice gotten so tall? Icepath still had to look down to talk to her--she had to do that for every cat in YewClan except for Spottedfur--but it wasn't as far a distance as she felt it should be. She cleared her throat. "There might be some remaining under the snow, but it'll be soggy and even when it dries, it'll dry hard and useless for anything but holding mouse bile. The only place we can go for fresh moss is the cave."
The cave where she'd seen Bramblespots' shade, all those moons ago. The red spotted molly's image, crisp with stars, was seared into Icepath's mind, flashing when she blinked. She shivered as a spike of guilt speared her heart. It was hard to swallow past the sudden pain, but she managed, somehow, finding the proper pair of pines that marked the turn off from the main trail. "Careful," she warned, looking over her shoulder. "It's a precarious climb, even in greenleaf. I usually wouldn't risk coming here in leafbare, but it can't be avoided. Follow in my pawprints."
Icepath took a steadying breath and relied on her memories of past climbs to guide her paws to the best stones. They could go slowly, safely. The longer they took on the climb, the more time she had to prepare her heart for the cave.
-x-----------x-
organizing herbs
-x-----------x- It was leafbare and the herb stocks were low. They always were, around leafbare, and it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but Icepath worried anyways as she laid out their dismal stock.
She had a little catmint held in reserve, just in case greencough hit. If she hadn't any catmint at all, Icepath would have been horribly paranoid of any cough. As it was, her worry was merely simmering, the result of caution and not desperation. She carefully tucked the fragrant leaves back into their place, ensuring they'd be as potent as possible if she needed them.
At least the burdock root stock wasn't suffering. Icepath had enough burdock for an army of injuries, plenty enough that she didn't worry about being stingy when smearing the pulp on the injured calico's infected wound. She'd packed on as much as she deemed helpful. There was still enough burdock for five more moons of generous doses. It took her several minutes to put it all away, but in this case, she was glad for the monotony.
She had nearly as much betony as she did burdock and Stormpaw's hard work collecting daisy stems last moon meant they had a sizable stock of that herb too. Icepath had added some of the daisy to the burdock poultice. She had a few other small bundles of herbs: elder leaves, goldenrod and mallow, but only enough for one or two cats. Icepath hoped no cat needed them, but also was reassured that she had some if any cat did.
Counting herbs soothed Icepath. The repetitive nature of the task was calming, the scent of the herbs grounding, and the more she worked, the more herbs she had to count, put her worries at ease. -x-----------x- [[ OOC : I'm trying to keep Icepath's characterization as close to how Cassie portrayed her, but if there's anything that feels off or just advice lmk, Keen. You interacted with her much more closely than I did and I'd like the challenge of keeping her as in character as possible !! I kinda feel like I'm cheating because I'm allowed to peek at the herb stores in game whenever I want to xp I can also look at exactly what cats were treated with what herbs each moon which is also nice. But that's a lot of details to update the moon summary with ;-;
Scarletdrift really does think he's still a young warrior. ]]

Stempaw - Arguing with Dappleswipe & Icepath Brownie @gloomylatte With an annoyed snort, Stempaw let out a sigh. "I am patient," he muttered crossly. "I learned that in... I can prove it." He forced himself to his paws, and with a sad glare toward Icepath, he turned to flee to the apprentice's den. TheKeenGlint In hopes of spotting Stormpaw before he fell into his nest, just to cheer him up, he went into the healer's den. "Stormpaw?" He let the word echo in the den, before he saw the grey-pelted she-cat talking to Mudfleck. She seemed busy. In hopes she hadn't spotted the tom fleeing, he made a quick dash for the exit, swiftly making his way to the apprentice's den.
Snuggling down, he fell into a deep sleep.
The echo of emptiness forced Stempaw to open his eyes. Was he awake? No. This wasn't the apprentice's den. He shifted in his nest, which he then realized had disappeared. Then he saw a glittery figure, tall and lean, approach him. "Hello, Stempaw." They seemed to mew. He stood back, hackles raised. Even aware that the cat was most likely dead already. "W-who are you? And why have you come to me?" He hissed, narrowing his eyes. "I've come to tell you about Flowerclan."
"I'm not with them anymore," Stempaw growled furiously. "So Ia don't care."
"They miss you, Stempaw." The warrior meowed. "They want you to come home."
"So, you're from Flowerclan? I'm not going back. They don't miss me. None of this is real." He snapped; his eyes still narrowed. Turning away, he tried to run away, tried to wake up, but he felt like some sort of force stopped. him. A million voices began to echo: 'They miss you,' and 'come home.' and 'they want your back.' He couldn't take it. He raked at his foreleg, trying to wake up.
With an alarming jolt, he woke up in the den. His leg bleeding from where he'd scratched it, and thankfully it was still afternoon-light outside, so he was able to walk out and walk into the medicine den. He tried avoiding Icepath as he walked in, so he just called out to see if Stormpaw would answer. "Hello?"

Dappleswipe
------- Asking Scarletdrift for advice Dappleswipe was very grateful to be sharing tongues with another cat right now. Snow covered the whole forest now, and the short haired cat was suddenly very jealous of her long haired clanmates as the cold seeped through her to the skin. To be honest she had been wondering if she should ask Mudspeck to share the prey with her, he had been so nice to her lately, and she wondered if... No, no Mudspeck was nice to everyone, surely he was just doing the same for her! Though the thought of the tom now made her suddenly very bashful. So instead she had settled down with a rabbit to share with Scarletdrift, one of the senior warriors. Although she did not exactly like the tom's daughters, she respected and admired him very much. After grooming the other for a while, she suddenly sighed and looked down at her own paws. A lot was on the she-cat's mind, maybe sharing it with a cat she trusted would help. "Scarletdrift... If I'm being honest, I don't feel like I've been a very good warrior as of late." The young cat looked back at him, her copper eyes sad and pleading. "Give me your very honest opinion. Am I doing well with Stempaw? I feel no matter what I do I can't get through to him! Frostfleck trained me so well, and I know that my very first apprentice wasn't going to be easy. In all honesty, I had hoped it wouldn't be easy just for the expirience of it all. Now I'm not so sure I'm fit to train any cat..." Dappleswipe sighed again and rested her head on her paws, dejected. (( Brownie SO TRUE idk how I missed that interaction pip!! Poor Dappleswipe needs advice so bad lol and I love that she went to Scarletdrift. Also snuck in a mention of her lil crush hehe :> ))
