x - - Welcome - - x -x- Welcome to YewClan, a claim-a-cat roleplay centered around Clangen. This roleplay assumes you have some knowledge about how the game mechanics work and I'd recommend watching a playthrough on youtube if you haven't seen the game before. There's lots of amazing Clangen content creators out there!
In this roleplay, the players write short responses between the game's turns, creating a world and deep characters out of the simulation's random events. A moon passes every three days, and the roleplay focuses on the life of the Clan as time passes. Can we lead YewClan to success? Or will the Clan crumble under pressure?
x - - About - - x -x- YewClan is about writing. The events in the roleplay are predetermined by the simulation, and it's up to the players to weave those events into a story and give them meaning.
Every three days the moons move forward. Roleplay of scenes can occur between these shifts, but much of the "roleplay" will be done in the form of prompts and responses: a character that is important to that moon's events (be it a major event or a patrol leader) will describe what actions occurred that moon; other player's characters are encouraged to describe their reactions to the event in response.
Scenes, or back-and-forth roleplay, give your character experience points and move their relationships forward, giving you in-game stats to reward creative roleplay. You are the main driving factor in your cat's progress through the game.
This roleplay will move quickly. Each real-life week will be a season in your character's eyes, each month an entire year. Little moments build into the big picture, but remember to think about long-term character goals and relationships! x - - Claiming - - x -x- YewClan is now a CLOSED RP. What does this mean for you?

-x- LGBT+ friendly; in the game, cats flirt regardless of gender and different gender identities are commonplace. There's no homophobia or transphobia in YewClan and it won't be tolerated OOC either.

-x- Activity. You are expected to, at minimum, make a prompt for any major moon events your character is a part of. This means a 4-8 sentence description every three days. More activity is better, of course, and you are encouraged to respond to others' prompts and relationship pips, but the only required responses are for moon events.
- Please let me know if you'll be on hiatus for more than one week/two moons. My DM's are open and I would like to know asap so other players can NPC your cat for major events and won't miss out on important moments because one player is not intending on replying.
- Missing more than two important moon events in a row will mark you as inactive; missing another will put your characters up for adoption by active players; repeat inactive players will give up their characters.
-x- !! NEW !! This rp is now SEMI-LIT and responses must reach a minimum of 5 sentences/one paragraph. One liners or short replies will not be tolerated. Please run all replies through a spell checker. I encourage all members to explore the depth of their character.
-x- No god-modding or controlling other players' characters. Focus on the actions your cat took in the event summaries when making starters, and save reactions to other cat's summaries for responses; a player has the right to ignore a minor event if they believe it goes against their character's personality.
-x- No excessive descriptions of gore, foul language or death. Everything must be acceptable for ages 13+.
-x- Pregnancies and kits will happen more often than usual, as the game moves more quickly than a traditional roleplay. Use the skip button on kitting scenes, please, and only describe what happens after.

Because each moon takes place during a whole month, a cat can be in multiple roleplay scenes with other cats simultaneously: unless they're reacting to the same event, those interactions are simply taking place on different days. x - - Warning - - x -x- No character has plot armor! You are following this cat through a game of Clangen and while you have some control over how your character's story arc will play out, random events WILL occur. Your cat may die with little warning or become injured or ill. By joining this roleplay, you are accepting that your claimed cat may come across hardships or die during the course of the game. The moons march ever onwards.

x - - Prompts - - x -x- Every MONDAY and THURSDAY the game will progress one moon. On these days, you will receive an Event Summary of your cat(s) actions during that moon.
Now's the fun part! Crafting prompts or responses based on the moon's events! A prompt is basically a roleplay starter and can be used to describe any event in more detail: what is happening? What does your cat do or think? Who do they turn to? Use these to set the scene and further describe and expand upon an event that occurred in the Summary.
Responses are replies to the prompt: how does your cat react? What do they do or think? How does that change their relationship with those around them? You can (and should!) chain responses with other players in a more traditional back-and-forth roleplay. A chain of responses is a scene and gives both cats relationship points, experience points, and builds character!

What can you respond to? There are four types of events you can reply to each moon: thoughts, major events, patrol events, and relationship pips.
Every moon, your cat has a thought. These aren't always very important, but they are often based on your cat's personality trait and can direct your responses.
Major events, also known as Moon events, are things that happen at the start of the turn. Often these events have a large impact on a cat or the entire Clan. If your cat is directly involved in a major event, you are expected to start a prompt.
If your cat is healthy, they will also go on a patrol every moon. The details of how that patrol went will be in your cat's Summary. Again, if your cat is the main character of a patrol, you should start a prompt.
Relationship pips are small interactions that happen between cats: arguments, conversations, or shared meals. These are the foundation of relationship building and are a good opportunity to interact with another player's prompt in the form of a response. x - - Patrols - - x -x- Every moon, cats go on patrol. I will, by default, assign the healer [+1 random] for a herb patrol, [+3 random] for border, and the remainder for hunting. Mentor-apprentice duos will go on a training patrol every other moon; they will always be paired on patrols if both mentor and apprentice are healthy.
Before the moon change, players may discuss which cats go on which patrol. If patrols are assigned, they will proceed in that order on the next moon and will not follow the random default. x - - Pips - - x Relationship pips are gained by:
- Relationship events each turn.
- Patrolling with another cat.
- Some moon events
Your cats can gain (or lose) relationship points in these categories:

Dislike
Respect
Comfort
Jealousy
Trust
Each cat has a value in each of these categories for every other member of the Clan.
x - - Toggles - - x -x- At any time, you can toggle these two settings: Prevent Kits and Limit Romance.
The Prevent Kits toggle is easy: when it is on, your cat cannot have or adopt kits. Use this toggle if you do not want your cat to be a parent. You can toggle this on and off any time.
The Limit Romance toggle allows you to basically freeze your cat's romantic state. When this is on, your cat will no longer flirt with other cats and cannot accept mate requests from other cats. They also cannot break up with their current mate if they have one. x - - Meta - - x -x- Mass extinction is OFF
- Once the Clan has 20 cats, there will be a vote to turn this on.
-x- Cats CAN have kits with cats that are not their mates.
-x- Same-sex kits are OFF
- But Increased same-sex adoption is ON
-x- Unknown second parent is currently OFF
- This setting will be toggled on and off periodically.
-x- Romantic interaction with former mentors is OFF
-x- First cousin romances is also OFF
-x- Leaders will automatically choose a deputy!
-x- Apprentices will graduate when they gain enough experience.
-x- Cats can retire from permanent conditions (such as chronic illness or injury)
-x- Warriors and elders can choose to become mediators.
-x- Can the game be rolled back if: ?
- Murder: Yes. First, this should be extremely unlikely because I'll be monitoring relationship bars and manually editing them if it goes too far. Unless both players agree to the feud and accept that a murder might occur, I will always keep dislike and jealousy <50%. I also ensured that, at least for the starting cast, no cat is bloodthirsty, cruel or vengeful so this should be extremely unlikely.
- Mates/breakups: Very Rarely. You can control relationship progress with toggles. Most romantic affection pips will be given through roleplay with more weight than the in-game events, so you have control over what cat(s) your character flirts with.
- Identity changes: Sometimes. I do encourage you to roll with all the curveballs the game throws, but sometimes it is simply random. If you really feel that a change of identity--either of trait, gender, or skill--counteracts everything your character arc has been building towards, then I will revert it.
- Parenting: Never. You have complete control over whether or not your cat can have kits with the toggles.
- Death: Never. Unfortunately, it's part of the game. All cats will eventually die, even if it's simply from old age. The simulation moves fast, and it's up to us to make these cats find a lasting legacy with the time they have.

x - - YewClan - - x -x- Welcome to YewClan: the Patient and Hardy. Their cats tend to stay calm in the face of danger and weather problems by stubbornly waiting them out. Their territory is much more rugged than any of their neighbors, giving them a reputation for being able to survive anything. It's true: prey is spread thinner, predators more abundant, the terrain harder to patrol. But YewClan's struggles also make them strong.
YewClan's cats tend towards long fur. Their climate, particularly at higher elevations in the north, brings a lot of snow and the long furred cats do well in the cold winters. For build, they tend to be stealth-ambush hunters and so value strength and bulk over lither forms. Many have especially keen vision at night. x - - Land- - x -x- YewClan lives in mixed forest. To the south the land has more deciduous trees, mostly beech, ash and maple with some chestnut and oak. To the north, their land slopes upward sharply, forming a ridge. Here, the land is stonier, littered with exposed rock and boulders. The trees also shift to conifers: white pine being dominant, but interspersed with the yew that gives YewClan their name.
Landmarks
- Rushing Creek forms the border between YewClan and FlowerClan. The water is shallow, but cold and fast. It originates in the mountains to the north. Its banks are covered in pebbles; some cats can try and fish here, or look for pretty stones.
- Rainfang's Point isn't a hill at all, but a massive white pine that towers over its kin. Visible from much of the northern territory, it's an easy landmark to reorient oneself in the hills. The paths leading to its trunk are well-traveled and a small groundhog burrow dug beneath its roots makes for a good shelter in case any cat gets caught out in a storm.
- Green pond is an algae-covered body of water that Rushing Creek flows into. It is in the southeast corner of YewClan territory and covers the majority of the border between PlumClan and YewClan. The ground around the pond is low and marshy.
- The Ridge runs east-west and cuts YewClan's territory into two halves. It is the prominent feature of YewClan's territory and is also where their camp resides.
x - - Camp - - x -x- In the center of their territory, the flat forests of the south suddenly form a ridge leading to the higher elevations in the north. Along this ridge is a narrow ledge, a flat space scooped out from the side of the earth and stone, and this is where YewClan's camp resides. Only a few carefully guarded trails give stable footing up to their snug camp. Many dens are dug into the side of the slope, where the soil is packed and sturdy. Others are formed from thick snarls of shrub. At the southern rim of camp, a cluster of stones forms a ledge over the edge of the ridge. Cats often come here to share tongues or look over the southern territory.  x - - Borders - - x -x- BurdockClan: the Careful and Deliberate -- Friendly

BurdockClan to the south shares the longest border with YewClan. Their territory is largely fallow farm fields interspersed with some creeks and deciduous forest. They tend not to make much trouble, so long as they aren't provoked.
PlumClan is kitty-corner to YewClan in the southeast. Their territory consists of orchards and buffer forest. They tend to be the most friendly to outsiders and have many former loners in their ranks. They are old allies of YewClan.
FlowerClan is to the east of YewClan, across the stream. They live in hilly plainland. Their cleverness often leads them to trouble, getting them into problems they thought they could handle. They are typically YewClan's greatest threat: FlowerClan won't hesitate to raid YewClan's borders if they think they can get away with it. x - - Traditions - - x -x- None yet, you'll come up with these~ |

Description Dappleswipe's pelt is mostly a dark charcoal color with some black and red markings. She has red patches covering her tail and half her face and long black streak running down from the back of her head to her mid tail, Dappleswipe’s known to be very loving towards her clanmates, and will go out of her way to lend a helping paw to them. She’s a careful listener and because of this she has great reasoning and problem solving skills.

Description Long, colorful fur makes up this molly’s pelt. The predominant colors of her fur are white and orange tabby, with the orange covering most of her front half and the white decorating her back half. Here and there patches of brown tabby make their appearance, the most notable brown patch coloring the left side of her face. She has soft sky blue eyes. Due to a terrible injury, she has a harsh scar along her back. With eyesight as sharp as a hawk's, this molly catches on to even subtle gestures and movements. This skill has allowed her to look deeper into the subtly of others, allowing her to tell when something is wrong or when something is needed but a cat doesn't want to admit to needing help. This trait once caused her to overthink and look too deeply into gestures and comments at times, but over the seasons she has learned to harness this and turn it into ambition. With a Clan to protect and a family to keep safe, this calico has overcome her insecurities and now puts herself out there and makes bold decisions when needed; she feels secure in her status among the Clan now. With keen eyes, swift paws, and an ambitious heart, there isn't much that can stop this molly now.

Description Shadepatch is a is a short-haired black and cream tortie she-cat with a few heart shaped splotches on her. Her round, yellow-green eyes are full of playfulness, something that is quite in contrast to her lonesome behaviour. She often worries about her patients, though usually dismisses these worries, something that could possibly be from her wish to prove herself, since she was formerly from Burdockclan before joining Yewclan as an apprentice. She also has quite an interest in birds, especially Blackbirds.

Flashkit was dropped off to YewClan by his father not long after his birth. Ever since, the young cat has stayed mostly to himself. He’s quiet and tends to stick to the sidelines. When he does indulge in kit play, he is alone before he’s with the other kits. He is skilled at moss-ball and quickly catches on to concepts dealing with hunting. Although grateful to the Clan for fostering, he is still finding his place amongst his clanmates.

Description A small long-furred cinnamon tabby with pale blue eyes. She still clings to the sentimentality of her pink leather collar. Clan life has sharpened Hazelpelt irrevocably, molding her formerly insecure, naive self into a fierce warrior with a long memory. Kind to her friends and outwardly self-assured, Hazelpelt struggles to keep a lid on her brewing inferiority complex. Whether she's doing a good job at it is anyone's guess!

Description Bliss, now Myrtlesprout, has been a loner as far back as she can remember. And she definitely looks the part, with her black and white scruffy pelt dotted in old scars. Despite the unkempt look, Myrtlesprout is long and lean underneath, promising a brutal fight for anyone who crosses her path.
Her high independence, general lack of compassion, and selfishness made it hard for her get along with anyone else; much less become a member of a group. The sole exception being Quickshade, one of her only friends- seeing them settle down in PlumClan made her realize just how lonely she was. Saffron and his rogues were happy to take advantage of the moment of weakness, but Myrtlesprout for all her faults, doesn't really wish any cat harm. YewClan provided her the perfect out, and if she can make another friend along the way; that's just fine by her.

She looks for what could be most advantageous to herself and now her new kits - 'loyalty' is a rather loose term. Swift as the wind, Hopbramble is sure-footed and resourceful, teaching herself or finding others to teach her skills that have aided in her survival thus far. To this molly, the ends always justify the means.

Description Mistleheart is a long-furred white she-cat with gray patches on her body and piercing yellow eyes. Mistleheart has her origins as a loner kit living in a barnyard close to PlumClan's territory. One day, rats attacked the barn where she and her mother Lily lived, causing them to evacuate. Mistleheart's mother Lily was then tragically killed by a monster on the Thunderpath. She was brought into YewClan as a kit by Stemriver, Dappleswipe and Spottedfur. As a young adult cat, Mistleheart was very loyal to the Clan she was brought in as a kit, and is not willing to give up her place as a YewClan cat. She also used to follow the Warrior Code to the best as she can, and wished to be the most loyal warrior of YewClan. However, as a mid-aged adult, after she witnessed Whorldusk being broken after his father's death, and having kits of her own with the help of Frozenlaurel, Mistleheart realized that the Warrior Code wasn't everything, and that her family, friends and Clanmates were more important. She became thoughtful and respectful to other cats' emotions, whether it was grief, joy, or anger. When emotions overtake the fluffy white warrior, she may even unwillingly break the Warrior Code - just to protect her loved ones, until she realized what she has done. Mistleheart loves to tell stories to the kits of the Clan. Mistleheart loves to tell stories to the kits of the Clan. Mistleheart also hopes to become deputy one day, even though she is starting to get older in age. Mistleheart is currently in a relationship with Slatefoot that took a while to kindle because of her unsure feelings towards she-cats, having kits with the help of Frozenlaurel and her previous relationship with with Foxclove before she tragically died due to rogues.

Description LOST
Thrushfleck is a long furred red speckled tom with cream markings. The cream markings consist of mittens, an underbelly, and the entirety of his tail. He's nimble and skinny, a born and built hunter who took after his mother in more ways than he can truly count. What in him even resembles his father? A question he isn't sure of- as even his sky-blue eyes full of youth and vigor were inherited from Heavy. He lets his intuition guide him through life, reflecting on the lessons instilled in him by his mentor and parents, not wanting to let ANYTHING happen to anyone under his watch like the accident that befell heavy. That being said, he interacts with others with cheer and optimism, wishing to keep everyone happy and on their toes. with his playful antics. He wants to see the good in people, trying to place himself in the metaphorical shoes of others even if his assumptions are.. entirely wrong. Its not that he doesn't have his downtrodden moments, or that he can't sense when he isn't wanted, but he's a people pleaser at heart. He doesn't wish to see others down, acting as an emotional rock for his mother and siblings. His position as older brother is a role he is very proud in.

Description A sleek, thick coat painted with a dusky gray is the dominant coloring on this molly. Splashed throughout the dark gray are even darker rosettes, inky black in color. The rosettes mostly dapple her flanks and back, while on her tail and forehead they appear as typical tabby patterns. Breaking through the darkness of her pelt would be a soft white chin, chest, underbelly, and paws. Her eyes are a pale yellow-green. Loving is an accurate way to describe this cat. She has a big heart that beats within her chest, a heart that is full of compassion and love for her Clanmates. This love that she harbors goes paw in paw with her desire to become Clan leader - to be able to serve her Clan as leader, to be able to protect them with multiple lives and guide them where their paws need to go, is the ultimate act of love in her opinion. She is also quick and steady on her paws; it's hard to trip this molly up, and with sharp reflexes and unshakeable paws, this feline can go just about anywhere she wants.

Description Pondspeckle is a gray speckled tom. He has lots of energy, rarely getting tired. His eyes are leafy green with small golden flecks. Him and his brother were born in the city, their father, Laurel, the only one to take care of them with their mother having left. Eventually they left the harsh city in favour of the forest, and were found by YewClan, and have been living with them ever since. Pondspeckle is especially clever and cunning, and he is quite fast as well, and even though he has kittypet origins, he is fiercely loyal to his Clan.

His pelt is lined with scars from the hardships of warrior, his most prominent a scar vertically down his face. Hayfeather is a kind and polite cat. Always there to offer a smile and good-natured attitude to any and all cats. His eyes are a handsome aqua colour, and he sports a pair of magnificent whiskers that turns into a whorl, hence his name. Not only that, he sports a whorl hair tuft and he have whorl inner hairs. His underbelly, lower muzzle and paws are white, and his long tail curls up in a big whorl. In terms of personality, Whorldusk is insecure, often having a negative outlook of life, due to the death of his sister, Blizzardkit at a very young age, which traumatized him. He is also very clever and uses his wits to solve problems his Clan may face. Whorldusk does not respect the Warrior Code, believing that dead cats from StarClan shouldn't control the living Clan cats' lives. Whorldusk is also aromantic, meaning that he isn't interested in the idea of having romantic relationships, a mate, and kits. He is indifferent about the idea of becoming deputy, but he would be pleasantly surprised if he does become one. His main goal in life is to be the best warrior that YewClan has ever seen.

While certainly not a mastermind, she dutifully carries out the demands or requests of her siblings and parents in fear of upsetting anybody. Some may fear she'd grow to be a pushover or a coward unable to face the frontlines of battle- and perhaps they would be right, or perhaps not. Though in a world as harsh as this, she's a bleeding heart and offers to others a gentle paw of kindness and understanding that she could only hope to get in return.

While he’s not the most social, he will help others when he can, even if just to prove his capability. Sometimes, he wonders about his loner roots, and who his father is. To pair, Whisperingpaw is very friendly and cheerful, putting most of her energy bouncing on her paws, wanting to do everything being an apprentice has to offer. His Clan is strong, he's strong--plenty strong enough to keep up with Hopbramble's kits--and he's probably immortal. After all, he's practically a warrior already. This tom is, for the most part, playful and happy, especially in his youth. But he still has a lot to learn, and while that's something he understands, he feels a little out of place and uneasy around those with more experience than him. Despite being in a deal of pain because of his injury and age, he is a light-spirited cat and is eager to make a good impression among the clan.

Storm-mask is a short-furred, fluffy, grey she-cat with with patches and stripes of grey, both lighter and darker. Some of the dark grey markings form a mask around her luminous silver eyes (that can be easily mistaken for brown at first glance). Storm-mask is a compassionate cat whose happiness rubs off on her clan. Her bad moods, especially her occasional irritation, can influence clanmates as well, however. Intelligent and skilled in herbcraft, she dedicates herself to helping any cat who needs it. After growing disturbed with fighting, she decided to train as a medicine cat. She has had an unwavering faith in StarClan ever since, and she's eternally grateful to them for giving her the opportunity to reconvene with lost loved ones.

Bubblingstar is known for his loving, compassionate manner within his clan. Outside of it, he often impresses at gatherings by his eloquent manner of speaking. Underneath his composed, warm demeanor however; Bubblingstar is incredibly clever and well aware of it.

A spotted grey she-cat with a band of cream coloured fur around her chest and shoulders. Coppersplash was born Oatkit in a single litter in BurdockClan, but her mother died in childbirth. Unable to bring himself to care for her due to his grief, her father gave her over to another queen. Oatkit didn’t interact with her littermates, jealous that they had a real mother. Because of this, she grew up alone. With no real connection in BurdockClan, she looked over the border. She was good at climbing trees, and longed to have these skills recognized as useful. Near the end of her apprenticeship, she realised that she wanted to start her life anew, so she decided to move to YewClan, resolving to overcome her loneliness and find somewhere where she belonged.
Pondspeckle taught her to be friendly, use her words over claws, and to bend the rules. He helped her be better at climbing. She was honored for her patience and given her name at 13 moons.

Foxclove is a small mostly ginger molly with a cream neck as well as cream socks. She has some cream coloring around her right eye, which are copper. As a kit, Foxclove (then Foxkit) left camp with her sister and witnessed her death. Since then Foxclove has blamed herself for her sister's death as well have a fear of hawks. From when she had been a kit, Foxclove had always been a great speaker, and that skill has not only carried on to her warrior days, but improved. She hopes to use her skills to good use one day. As well as being a great speaker, Foxclove is very kind and loving. She hopes to find a cat she can rely on as a partner one day, but for now she directs her loving energy towards all of her clanmates, especially the kits and apprentices.
She was mentored by Slatefoot, who taught her to be friendly, stay collected, heed her morals and avoid fights. She was honored for her devotion and graduated at 13 moons.

Frozenlaurel is by nature inquisitive and curious, always wanting to know what's going on, maybe this is what makes him rather sneaky. He is generally quite quiet although energetic and stealthy, despite being a former kittypet he is aware of what he needs to be a good warrior and incredibly ambitious towards his goals.

Stormkit is only 2 moons old, so it'll be a few turns before she really has anything to do, but there should be some cute relationship pips to interact with until then <3 For all y'all: I'm gonna go grab dinner and I'll put up all of the initial thought bubbles for moon 0 so yall can have a practice starter (; Hopefully we can get a majority claimed tonight because tomorrow is thursday which means a moon's worth of events! Name change: N/A
Description: This beautiful she-cat is an unusual feline indeed. Her thick coat appears spiky and like frozen spires, but it is as soft as chick down and is a warm comfort to ailing kits. She stands fairly tall, strong, lean legs that cause her to tower over most. Her face is sharp and triangular, with pale that seem to pierce the soul.

Icepath is an empath at heart, though she doesn't show it, she has this way with a feeling a cat's emotions that if one is particularly sad or angry that day, she'll try to comfort or soothe them...maybe sneak some calming herbs into their prey. Her voice is said to sound like ice cracking, hence her prefix. Little know it, but she loves singing, but you didn't hear it from me.

Do note that healers will be required at least one patrol response every moon, as well as more activity than the other roles ^^ Also don't make the description too long, mk~ TheKeenGlint yes! any major change can allow you to edit the description. Stormkit
In a little nook, not too far from the nursery, Stormkit was sat by herself, tucked as far in as she could go. She needed a place where she could hide and think by herself, and this was perfect.
She had only recently internalised the reality that, when cats die, they don't come back. Stormkit barely had any memory of her mother, Mosspond, but one stuck out the most — she had a lovely smile. When she looked down at Stormkit with such an affectionate gaze, the little one felt like everything would be alright, and that the world was a safe place. Knowing that she'd never see her mother smile again...
Stormkit whimpered. She just needed some time alone to try and make sense of it all.
(OOC: Because Mosspond's name is crossed out in the Tree, I assume she passed away a moon or so before this one?)

Description: Spottedfur is a lean, silver speckled tom. He has silver eyes and a burn scar on his hind left foot. He is known for being compassionate towards others, whether they’re from YewClan or not. Spottedfur is a renowned hunter among most of the warriors. He sees most things in a positive light and refuses to acknowledge negativity. Spottedfur is fairly clairvoyant, but doesn’t dabble in it too much.

Description:
Dapplepaw's a copper eyed, short-hairred She-cat. Her pelt is mostly a dark charcoal with some black and red markings. She has red patches covering her tail and half her face and long black streak running down from the back of her head to her mid tail, Dapplepaw’s known to be very loving towards her clanmates, and will go out of her way to lend a helping paw to them. She’s a careful listener and because of this she has great reasoning and problem solving skills.

Cat's name: Beesong
Name change: N/A
Description: Beesong is a long furred she-cat with a cream colored coat and a darker ginger stripe beginning between her ears all the way down her spine and then spreading across her fluffy tail. She has icy blue eyes white socks on all four paws along with a white chest, neck, muzzle, and stripe between her eyes. Beesong is a quiet and soft spoken cat, not one to cause trouble or argue as she is a people pleasure and tries to avoid conflict. She is nervous and easily scared, but she is super kind and gentle towards others. She has a good memory, keen eye, and easily picks up on things.

QUACK quokka Sand all yall are accepted~ Editing the front page now so yall might get a few pings when I set up the tags. Feel free to set up a starter whenever you'd like! Glint has an awesome example of what one of those could look like (and I'll get mine up sometime after I'm done with the front page). Sand- this format should be extra kind to time zones; I was hoping to get the summaries up around 3est (which is usually when I have a block of time to do things) which would be late for europe and middle of the night for SEA. tbh it might even be helpful as it'll give people time to write prompts to respond to for moon events ^^ Quokka - welcome to the forums! Also this format is going to be new for everyone so feel free to experiment and see what works. I'll probably be tinkering with some of the rules and settings as we go along to make everything work smoothly on this end, it's going to be a learning process all around oh and @swaggycassie replies all go here! and TheKeenGlint yeah, she shared Spottedfur's silver eyes and the StarClan guide's coloration. Mosspond was 116 moons at time of death, so it probably was complications of the birth that killed her :(

Bubblingstar is known for his loving, compassionate manner within his clan. Outside of it, he often impresses at gatherings by his eloquent manner of speaking. Underneath his composed, warm demeanor however; Bubblingstar is incredibly clever and well aware of it.

mk the front page is updated, I finished doing some last minute tweaks to the save file, and I did a little research onto how the skill trees and traits work.
also I just realized this was the first Clan banner I've made since 2017. wow does time pass. I am four computers distant from that time and don't have any good fonts anymore tho

Cat's name: Frostspeck
Name change: Frostfleck
Description: Frostfleck light ginger tabby she-cat with fluffy, soft fur that is slightly lighter on her underside. Her blue eyes seem to constantly be glittering with mischief. She's on the smaller side, but you wouldn't know it from her larger-than-life personality. Frostfleck got her name when she was born a small, weak only-kit in the dead of leaf-bare. She was born cold, and it seemed she wouldn't survive. When she miraculously did, she was named Frostkit as a reminder of her resilience. This is a trait that persisted, and Frostfleck was a precocious apprentice and young warrior. She's charming and likeable, and prone to humorous, dramatic embellishments which make her entertaining but less than suitable for roles of seriousness and responsibility.

-x- - --- - -x- He knew Stormkit was hiding. It was the entire Clan's duty to watch over their kits, doubly so after Mosspond's death. Scarletdrift... wasn't very good at the job. But he'd learned a few things watching Beesong and Frostfleck grow up, enough to know when to pretend to look the other way and let them have time without feeling like an older cat is at their scruff.
So he watched the small nook where Stormkit hid herself away, plenty close enough to dart in if anything happened, but far enough that he knew the young kitten wouldn't think she was being supervised. He set to grooming his long fur, keeping alert even as he wound down from the morning's dawn patrol. "It's alright," he said softly to himself. "I won't let anything happen to you. Not more than it already has, anyways." He flicked a twig between his paws. "YewClan will keep you safe, Stormkit." The words, so far from her ears, helped Scarletdrift the most. Still, he knew they were true. And he'd continue to watch over, but let her have her space until some other cat came to take his place. He was good enough for that task. |
