Mintpaw moved to get up but then remembered Aspenpaw. Glancing around, me met the eyes of Stormpaw and nodded to him. Stormpaw padded towards Mintpaw and took his place by the little apprentice so Mintpaw could follow. Giving the tom a grateful smile, he bounded forward towards Dewstorm and Bloodystar.

Dewstorm meowed " Goodbye" and then lightningclaw pushed the body in. They be gain pushing pawfulls in Dewstorm ripped out a piece of her own fur and drop in the hole. Lightningclaw did the same.

Mintpaw was in the background, trembling slightly from all the emotions "W-what are you guys doing?" He asked, hesitantly coming up to Dewstorm.

Snowtiger arrived at camp with the prey he had caught dangling from his mouth. He was happy about the prey his patrol had caught. The clan would eat well tonight. He stopped suddenly as he entered camp and spotted what was going on.

Snowstorm padded up to Snowtiger and blinked "What's going on around here?" she asked, glancing around while placing her prey down at her paws.

Snowtiger quickly dropped his prey on the fresh kill pile. "I don't know," he meowed before rushing over to the gathered clanmates. "What's happened?" he asked nervously.

Stormpaw glanced up at Snowtiger and Snowstorm with saddened eyes. He was next to a sleeping Aspenpaw and was letting her cling to him even in her sleep. "Moonpelt's kitting went wrong. She had four kits but lost too much blood and left for MoonClan" he explained, glancing around.

"I haven't seen the kits at all. I think they were placed with the other queen. As for her mate and kits, they're off burying her now. Aspenpaw took it hard but Mintpaw is with them. Moonpelt was the foster mother to both apprentices. I'm not sure about Dewstorm though " Stormpaw commented, turning his head to look towards the burial site.

Snowtiger sat looking at the two young apprentices. He was hesitant to wake them up when they looked so peaceful and content. He knew they deserved the chance to grieve with the rest of their family but they'd already lost so much.

Mintpaw was curled up outside the nursery entrance, dozing off. He had slipped out to stay by his new foster siblings in case they needed anything. In all reality, he was just too restless to sleep.
