Stormpaw woke up as Dewstorm passed him and he realized that he fell asleep next to Aspenpaw some time during the night. Stretching slightly, he bounded after the newly made warrior in curiosity.

'Dewstorm?" Stormpaw quietly called out, having tracked her out to the river. He padded up to her and carefully sat down next to her, curling his tail over his paws.

Brokenleap nosed his way out of the elder's den and gazed around, shifting his weight off of his left hind leg as he did so. He hated how his leg interfered with his ability to serve the clan, even though he was thankful he could still patrol and hunt on occasion whenever it wasn't acting up. "Yeah, and I went straight from the apprentices den to the Elder's den," he whispered quietly, still reflecting on that concept. "Probably the youngest elder in clan history too."

Brokenleap smiled gently to Lostfang. "It's not as bad as it is on most days," he meowed, his voice holding a slight twinge of thankfulness in it. Though sometimes I wish I could have done more for my clan, he added to himself, subconsciously glancing at his leg.

Brokenleap purred softly. "Well, I do miss having denmates," he admitted, remembering the night he received his warrior name. He had moved straight into the Elder's den, though part of him hadn't minded it at the time. Still, he couldn't help but wonder if Starclan had a purpose for him being in the Elder's den right now, if nothing else than to keep the new elders company when they retired.
