(I could send Lynxpaw out?) Leopardpaw came up further downstream, her fur was matted against her frame and was dragging her down as she struggled to keep her head above water. She could swim but not well. That'd be great! |

Lynxpaw heard a faint sound from camp and padded outside to see what it was. He wondered where it was coming from until he saw a cat getting attacked by a fox. He leaped on the foxes back and dug his claws into its shoulders.

Monsters heart beat hysterically against her rib cage, her breath hard as she realized that the fox was no longer chasing her, and that another cat had taken it on to battle. Gaining her breath, she watched as the fox attempted to rid the cat from its back. Not going to let anyone upstage her, she turned, her tail still fluffed to max compacticy, and she swatted at its nose to drive away its attention from the newcomer.

Lynxpaw kept his front claws buried in the fox's shoulders and starting scratching it's back with his hind claws. He growled, paying no notice to the other cat as long as he was preoccupying the fox.

Monster dared. She dared so much, that when given the opportunity she did it. Her fangs clenched hard on the foxes wet, weird nose, drawing blood almost instantly as she used her front class to scratch into its face, aiming for the eyes, but it moved just enough to let its sight survive.

Leopardpaw looked up at him again, "I never knew anyone else did that. I thought I was the only one..." She murmured.
Lynxpaw was flung from the fox's back when Monster bit it's muzzle. He landed on his side but got up and watched Monster fight, waiting in case she needed help.

Not that she had ever felt a sensation like this, but the reassurance that she had some form of help let her stop running from the fox and face it head on. It was only when the fox drew its heavy head against her side that she had relapsed into the same kind of fear again as she felt the air flee from her body.

Lynxpaw leaped on the fox again and slashed at it's face, cutting it's head above it's eyes which caused blood to flow into it's eyes.

Gorsefang puffed out his chest hoping to impress her a bit. He considered Willowshade to be quite beautiful and had his eyes set on her.
Rabbitkit purred. The little tom was just excited to have someone who cared about him.
Eaglekit and Stonekit whisper to each other for a few minutes before wandering over to Willowshade and saying hello.

Monster barely got out in time for the fox to give one last lash-out and dart into the forest, hopefully to never be seen again. Monster panted, staring at the other cat with many thoughts flooding through her head.

Willowshade looked up and met Gorsefang's gaze for a moment but got nervous and tried to focus on the kits instead. She was nervous because she kinda liked him. She looked down at Eaglekit and Stonekit kindly, "hello." She purred to the two.
