Graystorm padded into the nursery and looked around, his green eyes searching for only one cat. He had been intrigued by Cora ever since she had joined the Clan, and although he didn't want to admit he was smitten, it was true.

"They seem to be there all through leafbare but they don't come out much. In newleaf, they are more active which is dangerous and in greenleaf and leaffall, you have to watch for them but not as bad as newleaf" Firestrike mewed

"That's cause you're just not ready yet." He explained. "How about this. If you wait a moon, I'll go out and catch the best mouse in the forest just for you. Does that sound good?" He mewed coaxingly to the kit. |

Graystorm lowered his head so he was eye-level with the kit. "Well, mouse is different from milk." He explained."It's a lot harder to chew and it'll hurt your teeth. And your body is completely used to milk right now, so if you suddenly had something else, it would make you ill." He explained, hoping he was getting through to the kit.
