Your paws brush the ground as you approach a sitting rabbit. Suddenly, a careless misstep causes you to snap a twig. The rabbit runs off, and you chase after it. After some while of chasing, you realize a large, black, furry tom watching you with fierce amber eyes from a short distance. "Who are you?" You ask him, your fur beginning to bristle. Then you notice that he doesn't have a tail. "You might want to be careful or you might lose your tail, as well," the tom says. Apparently, he realized you staring at his stump of a tail. "I was doing the same thing when my tail got caught in a Twoleg trap." You nod, and he continues, "I'm Shadowstar, leader of CloudClan." He explains. "Follow me." Shadowstar instructs with a flick of his tail. You hesitate. What could he possibly be doing? Where could he be taking you? But this 'Shadowstar' seems like a fairly nice cat, so you decide to follow him. His pace is fast; pouncing over rocks and swerving past trees. You find yourself to be a little tired by the time that he finally stops. You see many, many cats, chatting, eating, and just walking around. "This is CloudClan, the Clan of peace of intelligence." Shadowstar turns his head to face you. His fierce amber eyes softened into a welcoming expression. As your eyes leave Shadowstar's face and over to the rest of the cats, you find that they're all smiling at you. "We welcome you into CloudClan." Forum Rules - - Please follow all Forum Rules. You can read the Forum Rules here Literacy - - I'm not asking that you write a novel, but I do expect correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. What I mean by that is dnt tlk lyk dis. It's annoying and hard to understand. If you want to use "&" instead of "and" that's completely okay. When you're not roleplaying, you can use text talk as much as your little heart desires. Activity - - Please don't join then never come back, you'll be wasting your time and mine. I understand if you're busy and can't come on everyday. I do ask that you try to come on once a week to roleplay. If you don't roleplay for 3 weeks, without prior notice, I'm afraid I will have to delete you. But you can always rejoin. Respect - - My most important rule. Be nice. I hate bullies with a passion. If you are mean to someone you get a strike, 3 strikes and you're out and cannot rejoin. End of story. Kit-Killing/Stealing - - Kit-killing is not allowed by any outside users. It is allowed within the clan only if it is part of a plot that I, and the user roleplaying the kit, allows it. Kit-stealing is not allowed under any circumstances and will be reported. Roleplay - - When you're not roleplaying, use (), [], {}, OOC, or something to help others identify whether or not you're roleplaying. Like I said before, text talk is not aloud during roleplay, but is aloud when you're not roleplaying. Also, keep all roleplay PG/PG-13 Spam - - Do not spam or advertise. "_______ come to _______" every once in a while is okay, but don't make a habit of it. Characters & Realism - - No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stues. This is a realistic roleplay, so I want all characters to be realistic. So no perfect characters, please. No cats with powers, wings, or pink fur. Also, try to make the warrior names realistic as well. For example, please don't use the names Dragonclaw or Magicpelt. There is no character limit. You may make as many as you can handle. But if you make 3 or more characters, I ask that you don't make them all the same gender. I'm not going to ask you to make a tom for every she-cat, but I want the gender ratio to be somewhat even. I'm not expecting it to be exactly even but I don't want it to be 1 tom for every 6 she-cats. Also, you cannot start out as a StarClan cat or Dark Forest Cat. If you are going to start out as a queen, you must have a mate and kits/be pregnant or have a backstory on what happened to your mate and why you do not have one at the time of joining. And if you want to make a kit, you should make another cat of another rank, and can only make a kit without a mother if there is an open queen willing to foster a new kit. And since there always tends to be too many apprentices, there should only be one apprentice per every three warriors. Have Fun! - - My second most important rule. I made this roleplay for the enjoyment of myself & others. If you have an idea for a plot to make this roleplay more enjoyable, please tell me. There are no bad plots. I will do my best to try to use that plot. Sorry if these rules seemed harsh.

Welcome to CloudClan. The Clan of Peace and Intelligence. Some cats call us weak because we would rather discuss than fight. We don't like to fight for no reason, but if our Clan is in danger, we fight like all of TigerClan, so don't underestimate us. CloudClan cats normally have silver or grey fur and blue or green eyes. It is common to find a black or white cat, but is very rare to find an orange or brown cat. Most likely, if you find a brown or orange cat, they are most likely not Clan-born. Season - - new-leaf [ ] green-leaf [ ✕ ] leaf-fall [ ] leaf-bare [ ] Prey - - Rabbits (Very Common) Thrushes (Common) Mice (Common) Starlings (Uncommon) Voles (Uncommon) Squirrels (Rare) Predators - - Foxes (Common) Badgers (Common) Dogs (Common) Adders (Uncommon) Wolves (Rare) Eagles (Rare) The first leader, and the founder of CloudClan was Cloudstar. Cloudstar was a long-haired, light-golden tom with stunning amber eyes. Originally, he was a kittypet named Cloud, coming from a friendly household. But one day his Twolegs had disappeared, and Cloud was forced to live on his own. With no more housefolk to feed him, he taught himself how to hunt for food. He picked up strategies of survival in the wild quickly. This newfound freedom, away from the boundaries that Twolegs had always placed on him, was like a wild paradise. But the excitement didn't last very long. Like it always had, leaf-bare rolled along. Temperatures dropped and snow fell. Prey was scarce, and it was freezing. There was no place to keep warm. For all of Cloud's life, he had stayed inside the warm confines of his Twoleg den, until now. He struggled to find food and shelter. One day, he came across a group of loners and rogues sleeping in a cave in what seemed like an abandoned camp. As Cloud got to know them, he learned that one of them was a former medicine cat. However, he was sent into exile because he had become a father. But even though his Clan had given up on him, his ancestors had not. Starclan had sent him a message that, "a cloud will pass by for the new sun to rise." This medicine cat taught Cloud the ways of a Clan cat. Cloud, from then on, was known as Cloudstar, and thus...CloudClan..

Territory - - CloudClan's territory is a very moor-like area. It is mainly out in the open, but there are a few spots with good cover. The Meadow The Meadow is very colorful with flowers and has a nice fragrance. Although it seems like a place in which prey might roam around, it's not a place that should be used for hunting grounds. The Meadow provides many herbs for the Medicine Cat to use, except for catmint, which is only found in Twoleg gardens. Butterflies like to play in this area, so kits are sometimes brought here to play and chase after them. The Moor The Moor is used as a small training area. It's a medium-sized clearing with some big and small rocks scattered around and tall grasses, perfect for teaching hunting skills and fighting. There are no trees around this area. Many mentors and apprentices can use this at once, despite it's smallness. The Forest CloudClan's territory ends soon after you are in the forest. Natural moor hunters, CloudClan cats prefer not to hunt in the overgrowth, leaving it to AlderClan. The forest does provide some variation in prey, with small woodland rodents and birds usually not found on the moors. Abandoned Twoleg Barn This barn has been without twolegs for a long time. Without twoleg intervention, grass has grown through the wooden cracks on the floor sprouting seedlings and attracting mice. The barn is currently inhabited by 2 loners, an older tom and his daughter. Both cats are friendly towards CloudClan, and welcome them into the barn anytime. Out of respect for the loners, who pass valuable information to the clan and provide them a place to spend the night while traveling, CloudClan usually leaves the barn's mice alone, only taking prey when invited to do so. Moss Rock Formation A large, mossy rock formation that sits on the moor. It is unknown when it was made, and if it is natural, or made my twolegs. Nevertheless, it is a favorite spot for apprentices, who love to explore and play inside it. The Gorge A large scar in the ground splits open the far part of CloudClan territory. It is treacherous ground and most cats avoid it. The bottom of the gorge is a breeding ground for snakes, and is often found teeming with squirming black bodies and threatening hisses. A stream passes near the bottom of the gorge, and can be an emergency source of water in a pinch, if a cat is willing to brave the snakes. The Tidepools An area of tidepools fed from the waterfall that rages in PeakClan territory. It is a valuable source of water for the otherwise parched moors, and often contains a stray fish or two. It is a favorite spot for cats to relax and play in the water, especially during the heat of greenleaf. Camp - - CloudClan's camp is located in between two small hills. This is one of the most covered areas within the entire camp. The Lookout Tree The Lookout Tree is right above the camp. It gives a good view of the entire camp, perfect for guarding it. New warriors also stay here all night for their vigils. Leader's Den The Leader's den is in a small cave bellow the Highstone. Since Cloudstar was such a big cat, it's big enough to hold three warriors. The ground is carpeted with moss. Another large piece of moss in the back of the den is where the leader sleeps. Medicine Cat's Den The Medicine Cat's den is a cave right next to the camp entrance. It is lined with moss and has a small drinking pool in the back. The dens are lined with feathers and shells, meant for maximum comfort for the medicine cat's patients. There are little cracks in the cave where the herbs are stored. Warriors' Den A very large bush where the warriors sleep. There are pieces of moss everywhere inside the den, each one of which a warrior sleeps on. The branches of the bush are thin and spread out, so cats can fit through easily. The leaves are also good for protecting against stormy weather. Apprentices' Den A slightly smaller bush where the apprentices sleep. There are pieces of mods everywhere in the bush where the apprentices sleep on. The branches are spread out, but thin, allowing small cats to fit through and sleep. Leaves provide protection from wind and rain if it is a stormy night. Nursery The Nursery is a fallen tree decorated by feathers and shells. The kits and queens stay inside the now-hollow log, which is lined with soft moss and sometimes if new kits have been born, soft feathers to ensure comfort. Usually the moss is a little bit messy due to playing kits. It is located next to the medicine cat's den. Elder's Den The Elders' den is way in the back of the camp. It is a beautiful tree surrounded by a shallow stream. During the night, the elders sleep under the tree, in its roots, and on sunny days they have beds of moss outside the tree for them to lie on. The branches and spread-out leaves provide good shelter in stormy nights. The inside is lined with moss and is decorated with shells and feathers. Highstone The Highstone is where the Leader makes important announcements and holds Clan meetings. It is right above the Leader's den. Fresh-Kill Pile The Fresh-kill pile is in the center of camp. This spot is always kept muddy and cool, so the prey won't rot or go bad. During leaf-bare, it will be moved around depending on where the sun hits, to make sure it doesn't freeze; otherwise it isn't able to be eaten.

Leader - - Shadowstar Shadowstar is a large fluffy black tom with amber eyes. He is very sweet and accepting of new members. Shadowstar was born a kittypet but wasn't fond of the sheltered life and wanted to be part of the clans his mother told him stories about when he was a kit. 40 Moons Ƈσяαℓ Mєямαι∂ ღ Deputy - - Name DESCRIPTION Age Screenname Medicine Cat - - Greypelt A fluffy gray tom with a glossy tinted pelt. He has darker mackerel tabby stripes marking his face, back, and legs. He also has a ringed tail that ends in the same gray that also darkens his paws. His chest is a lighter silver, as are the faint lighter markings on his face and he has deep amber eyes with a maroon hue along the edges. Graypelt can seem rather demure at times as he doesn't really engage in conversation with others. He can be quite the pessimistic tom. often thinking of the bad possibilities in a situation as opposed to the good ones. Some cats would avoid telling him anything about possible plans simply because of this reason. Though he himself is not bothered by those who think of him to be a downer. To him, he's only thinking of everything. A bit judgemental, would be another word used to describe him, once he has a specific impression it is hard for him to budge. He is however, a very gentle medicine cat who is careful with his craft. Healing his clanmates has always been something he's enjoyed, although this might be impacted by the fact that he's a bit lousy at warrior duties. 32 Moons 🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃 Medicine Cat Apprentice - - Dewpaw A slim black tom with grey eyes. He had short fur and a long tail with a bend near the end of it. He has dark almost spot like markings across his fur, his markings are visible, but hard to tell them apart from his already dark fur. He had a white chest, muzzle, and paws. The tip of his right ear has a little bit taken off due to an accident as a kit. Dewpaw is energetic and eager, he enjoys working and is quite friendly. Due to his upbeat attitude and kind disposition he has been known to be taken advantage of at times and sometimes does more work then he signed up for. Dewpaw is gradually getting better at realizing this but nowhere good enough. He was born in the clan and his parents died not to far after. 11 Moons 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 Warriors - - Heatherstorm A slender, pale brown she-cat with darker tabby pointe markings on her face, backside and tail. She has a slightly lighter chest and paws, while her ears and tail tip are very brown. Her eyes are a soft, heather-blue. Generally, this she-cat is very kind and sweet. Often all she wants to do is help out and fulfill her duties as a warrior. But aside that, she does strive to be friendly to all cats in place of her brother, who is quite the opposite. In fact they are so contrasting that she makes a point to think of all the good things that can come out of any situations. Should anything ever threaten CloudClan, she seems to have a shift in personality. Almost a bit of a darker side in a way. Simply put, she would not tolerate anything trying to hurt her clan and would fight mercilessly to protect it. It is not often that she gains the traits from this serious side, but if it weren't for her brother's own pessimistic existence, she would probably have always been this cold and unflinching cat. 32 Moons 🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃 Redfleck A fluffy red-brown tom with white flecks and forest green eyes. His presence is humble but dignified. He's friendly to those who approach him, but doesn't often approach others; despite that, he's strangely charismatic and makes friends easily. He radiates an aura of self-confidence, which sometimes lands him in trouble when it borders arrogance. He has a kit-like sense of curiosity, leading him to poke at things without knowing fully of the consequences of his own actions. However, underneath all his selfishness and impulsiveness, he's deeply loyal to his Clan and cares to make sure that nobody feels too out-of-place among his Clanmates—he likes visiting the nursery and playing with the kits. He was originally a loner who wandered in with his sister, Sky, as a kit. They were apprenticed immediately and raised in a Clan, and he forgets most of his kithood. 28 Moons Redfleck Skyflight a white and very-pale gray calico with dark blue eyes and a very long tail. She's adventurous and competitive, often challenging the rest of her Clanmates to playful races. She's especially talented at climbing trees, but can't run too quickly because she tends to be clumsy with her paws. Hunting is her specialty. She has a bad tendency to gossip and likes to witness drama. She was born a loner, but was accepted into Cloudclan as an apprentice with her brother, Red. 28 Moons Redfleck Robinsong Robinsong is a slender black and white she-cat with green eyes. She has a splash of ginger fur on her chest. Robinsong is a mature, level headed, and patient she-cat. As a fairly young warrior, she has a good idea of how young cats think, and how to express her thoughts as words. She is very analytical and somewhat cautious, not usually willing to take risks. She is very patient with kits and apprentices. She is friendly and can be a fun friend as well. There is a chance that Robinsong may not be clanborn due to the ginger in her pelt. Robinsong thinks little of this notion. Her mother had never disclosed her father, and had passed away during her kitting. 24 Moons ~Skyblaze~ Leafstorm Leafstorm is a tortoiseshell and white she-cat with bright leaf green eyes. She has a white muzzle and paws and a black tail tip. Leafstorm is a level-headed and kind cat who is always willing to help a cat in need. She has a calm, graceful air about her and has a motherly aura, especially to younger cats such as apprentices and kits. This changes in the face of battle, where she can become a whirlwind of fury and fearlessness. Leafstorm is usually very diplomatic, but also knows when it is time for battle instead of words. She is a supportive and intelligent mate who is not afraid to speak her mind and offer her opinions. 37 Moons ~Skyblaze~ Amberfoot Amberfoot is a slender she-cat with a ginger pelt and has green eyes. She has a black overcoat, a black blaze that starts at her nose and stops on her forehead, white muzzle and white neck. She has black stocks on her front left leg, back left and right leg. Her front right toes are white and her underbelly is white. Her tail is striped with ginger and black. She is outgoing and brave. She likes to help others in trouble as much as she can. She will become fierce when threatened and fight to defend herself and others. Born in Cloudclan to Honeydapple and Shadeclaw with her brother Badgerstripe. After a few moons after being made a warrior. Honeydapple passed away in the elders den due to old age while Shadeclaw passed away due to sickness. 23 Moons Taiyou Badgerstripe Badgerstripe is a black-and-white tabby tom with green eyes. He has white paws, chest and muzzle. The stripes on his body are gray mackerel loose. Badgerstripe has a long fluffy tail, a pink nose and two notches in his ears. He also has a scar on his left shoulder and across his right eye. He is bossy and fierce, but loyal and likes to follow the rules almost all the time. He has a hot temper and sometimes loses it in certain situations. He's quick to jump into a fight. He may seem rude he's really not. Born in Cloudclan to Honeydapple and Shadeclaw with his sister Amberfoot. After a few moons after being made a warrior. Honeydapple passed away in the elders den due to old age while Shadeclaw passed away due to sickness. 23 Moons Taiyou Snowfur Large white, long-haired tom with lighter golden markings on his pelt that looks like the reflection of the sun on the clouds. Deep, kind green eyes full of sympathy and wisdom. He is a little strict about the Warrior Code, but has everyone's best interests at heart. He wants to maintain good relations with other Clans and actively searches for any new rogue or loner who wants to join the Clan. He is always thankful of Shadowstar for taking him in many moons ago and keeps his kittypet collar under his nest. Snowfur aspires to become a deputy and longs to have a family but believes that a she-cat should deserve a better mate. Whenever he can, Snowfur visits his parents and siblings in the Twoleg house, discussing life between the two worlds. 38 Moons Flamestripe Tiffany Light brown spotted Bengal she-cat with blue eyes. Sassy, spoiled, and from a very wealthy household, Tiffany has put off being given her warrior name and needs to go through extensive training to become a warrior. She purposefully performs poorly at hunting because she doesn't want to get messy and refuses to fight in order to maintain her silky fur. She stills wears a collar around her with some fancy gold lettering and often bullies Tigerkit because of his background story and calls him names using Twoleg words. 24 Moons Flamestripe Bluenose A small silver tabby tom with icy blue eyes. Bluenose has a permanent glare and always looks like he's looking at a dead rat. He's known to be grumpy but is actually quiet when you get to know him. Since he is quiet that fact many cats don't talk to him thinking he's grumpy doesn't really bug him. He's very indifferent and has been called out on it before. Bluenose is nothing special when it comes to his skills. His is perhaps a slightly better fighter than cats his age but nothing to really stand out. He is a clanborn cat. 26 Moons 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 Name DESCRIPTION Age Screenname Name DESCRIPTION Age Screenname Apprentices - - Owlpaw a small, short-haired tan tom with darker brown splashes of fur on both shoulders and each paw. His eyes are wide and a dark amber, fading out to a lighter orange towards the rims. He's quite soft spoken for his wild thoughts and imagination. Sometimes he tends to be anxious, but usually he's very aloof and reserved. He tends to secondguess himself often, but once he thinks he is right then he will explode once somebody disagrees with him. He likes to stay objective and hates drama and loud arguments. Some cats may describe him as a loner in his own clan, but he doesn't seem to mind that. 6 Moons Redfleck Sunpaw Sunpaw is a fluffy jet-black she-cat with bright amber eyes. Sunpaw is a definition of a ball of energy. This hyper, feisty, and energetic she-cat is always running around, and generally poking her nose where it doesn't belong. It's impossible to dampen her enthusiasm or her inquisitiveness. Nevertheless, if someone took the chance to sit her down long enough, they would find a fun and lifelong friend. Sunpaw can become fiercely protective of her friends, and defend them tooth and claw. Assertive and bold, she will usually say what she thinks. Because of her candidness, she can become disappointed when someone lies to her. She is also fairly competitive, and can become disappointed when she fails at something. 6 Moons ~Skyblaze~ Nettlepaw Nettlepaw is a dark brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes and long, pale whiskers. Her fur always seems to be bristled and messy,no matter hard she tries her fur never lays flat. She has a bushy tail and her stripes are loose. Nettlepaw is confident and energetic. She's focused and witty but her crude ways are troublesome at times. She's adventurous and also clear-headed, between her and Pinepaw, she's the loudest and quite bossy. Overall Nettlepaw is loyal and brave, she'll find a chance to be the first picked for anything. Born in Cloudclan with Pinepaw, her father is unknown and her mother was Duskwhisker. She passed away from greencough. 8 Moons Taiyou Pinepaw Pinepaw is a dark brown, almost black, tabby tom with amber eyes. He has a bushy tail also and his pelt has a glossy shine, he has a nick in his left ear and a scar across his muzzle when Nettlepaw took a training bout to rough. Pinepaw is calm and reversed. Unlike Nettlepaw, he has little confidence in himself, sometimes becoming anxious around others especially in large groups. He likes to stay to himself sometimes but does enjoyed a little company at times. Born in Cloudclan with Nettlepaw, his father is unknown and mother was Duskwhisker. She passed away from greencough. 8 Moons Taiyou Rainpaw Russian blue she-cat with light gray eyes. She is small, but fast. She is quite shy, and doesn't talk much. She is constantly looking after her father, Oakfall. She talks to him a lot and takes care of him. She wishes he'd be okay some day, and her hope is that her taking care of him will some day make him be the warrior he once was. 10 Moons ~Tigerblaze~ Name DESCRIPTION Age Screenname Queens && Kits - - Stealthcreek Stealthcreek is a small, fluffy blue-grey she-cat. She has stunning blue eyes and a very sweet personality. The she-cat absolutely adores helping and working with kits and young cats. More often than not she is very outgoing and friendly towards most other cats. At first she may be overlooked, but other cats quickly realize their mistake when it comes to a fight. While most of the time Stealthcreek tries to be more polite and kind, she can also be rather clingy. She acts of love to protect those she cares about. She will do what she can no matter the odds, no matter what challenge is thrown at her. She tends to get jealous of others and it can be her downfall. If someone threatens her or anyone she loves... well, things get ugly. You don't want to be the cat that gets in her way, that's for sure. Stealthcreek is very loyal to her Clan and will even risk her life to save it. The she-cat wants nothing more than to do her best. Battle Moves - - Back kick Explosive surprise more to catch opponent from Behind. Judge opponents distances from you carefully, then lash out with you back legs, taking the weight on your front paws. Back rake A bit like Belly rake, if your a SkyClan cat this move works best. If your fighting a cat from the front, jump over the cats head and score your claws down their back. Belly rake A fight stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws across soft flesh of opponents belly. If your pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back in control. Double death bite Seems dishonorable and is only used against very evil cats. A partner and you take on one cat. Once you've got a hold of your opponent, your partner helps hold down enemy cat, and you both bite hard down on enemy cat's throat. Two pairs of jaws will cut off airway and cat will choke to death. Like I said, it's considered dishonorable and would only be used against evil cats like Tigerstar. Dizzy dance Only can be preformed by a extremely small and quick cat against a larger and at least somewhat slower cat. The cat charges head on then swiftly leaped sideways, ducking under the cat then as soon as the cat preforming this attack is out from under the other cat it spins and leaps over it. Then once More spins but rams the side then jumps over/goes under the cat and rams the other side then land one final blow by leaping onto the cat's back and grabbing the scruff with teeth and using your free paws to batter the cat's head. This attack should in the end result in a dizzy or confused enemy. Dizzy tackle A great move for swift young warriors facing older, larger warriors. You run in circles around them at top speed until their to dizzy or tired (if the were chasing you) to keep up. Then you tackle them. While they are down, attack. Caution, standing directly over them makes you vulnerable to the Belly Rake. This is a One-on-one move and is not recommended in a place with many foes. Front paw blow Frontal Attack. Bring your front paws down hard on you opponents head, claws unsheathed. Front paw strike Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the body or face of your opponent. Claws unsheathed. Killing bite A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort. Leap and hold Ideal for a small cat facing a large opponent. Spring onto the opponents back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of your opponent paws and in the position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Leap-and-cover Ideal for making your opponent feel much pain, leap onto your opponent's back and put your paws over their eyes. For the moment the opponent is blinded, sink your claws into the soft skin around their eyes. If your opponent doesn't run away, take advantage of their temporary blindness and perform leap-and-hold move. Making sure You never know if a opponent is actually dead. When an opponent goes limp, they become vulnerable, so make sure they are really dead. Bite and slash. Claws unsheathed. When you think they have gone to StarClan, pray and leave. Partner fighting Warriors who have trained and fought together will often instinctively fall into a paired defensive position, each protecting the others back while fending off an opponent o either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be whirlwind of danger for attackers. Play dead Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxed his grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and you are in the attacking position. Scruff shake Secure a strong teeth grip in the scuff of your opponents neck, then shake violently until he or she is to rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, which are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them. Tail trip The opponent moves to you and at the right moment, trip them with your tail. Teeth grip Target your opponents extremists- the legs, tail, scuff, or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap and hold, except your claws remain free to fight. Unbalancing act If a cat is going to bring down all its weight on you while rearing on its back legs, role towards your opponents hind legs to unbalance him. Upright lock Final, crushing more on already weakened opponent. Rear up on your back legs and bring full weight on your opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip him under you. This move makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so requires great strength and speed. Battle Tactics - - Approach from behind your enemy The advantage is gaining the higher ground is that you can charge at greater speed at the enemy, who will be weakened by having to fight uphill. Use the light from the sun The sun should be behind you to dazzle your Use the light from the sun enemy. In green leaf, the midday sun is especially bright and cruel to cats who are used to sulking under the cover of the trees. In leaf bare, the low sun hovers around the eye line like a troublesome bee, keep your enemy from facing it, and they'll have trouble seeing an attacker from any direction. Know were the wind is coming from If there is a strong wind, it should be blow from behind you toward the enemy, blinding them with dust and holding them back like a current of a river. If you wish to preserve the element of surprise, the wind should blow from the enemy position toward you so your scent is carried away from them. Conceal the size of your force The number of cats in your battle patrols can be hidden to confuse the enemy from a distance. Cats packed tightly together will appear as a small attacking force, encouraging the enemy to be over confidant and make poor strategic decisions. Alternatively, is cats are spread out in signal file, they will look like a solid border of warriors, which will seem impenetrable to an advancing enemy. Attack from both ends of the Enemy first If both ends of the enemy line are defeated, the cats in the center of the line will have to fight the two fronts. Even if they are outnumbered, the will be out flanked, vulnerable, and in disarray. Keep fresh warriors in reserve Always have adequate reserves of fresh, fit warriors behind the battle line. They will be able to replace injured warriors, launch a separate attack if the enemy tries to encircle your forces, or fend off a surprise enemy from the rear. If the battle is in your favor, finish it by sending your reserve warriors behind the enemy line to surround them and demand surrender. Feigned retreat and ambush A group of strong cats charges at the enemy, screeching, then turns and withdraws. Repeat this until the infuriated enemy finally breaks it's line and gives chase. Then the trap is sprung. Other warriors positioned in rabbit holes and other dips in the ground-out of enemy eyes line- attack as soon as your opponents have gone past. The enemy will be forced to stop and turn around to fight the unexpected threat, as they do the retreating cats must turn and charge back at them with full speed. The enemy is caught between two bodies of attacking cats and will quickly surrender. Water Combat - - Double-Front-Paw Splashes water into the face of the enemy. Underwater Leg Sweep (Front of Hind) The opponent will not see it coming under the water so won’t have a chance to brace himself before losing his balance. Push-Down and Release Almost all non-XeoClan cats panic if they are submerged, while XeoClan cats know how to hold their breath underwater. This move can be used to secure a decisive victory, because it’s most likely to make the opponent surrender. Underwater Clinch Uses warrior’s weight to hold the opponent below the surface, with a firm grip that enables the warrior to bring his enemy spluttering back to the surface before forcing him under again. Tail Splash Temporarily blinds opponent by flicking water in his eyes. Underwater Push-Off Crouching and erupting out of the water into opponents, using surprise and impact to knock him off balance. Sandpaw Splash Using noise of water splashed at a distance to create a decoy, leaving opportunity for a surprise attack. Above-Ground Combat - - The Sky-Crusher Landing with all four feet on top of an opponent, flattening him like a leaf. The Flick-Over Landing with front paws outstretched to sweep the opponent off his feet and roll him onto his back. The Kick Kicking down hard as the warrior nears the ground, then using momentum from landing to spring away before the opponent can retaliate. The Slice Dropping down with claws unsheathed for maximum injury. The Branch Swing Holding on to the branch with front claws and swinging hind legs into the opponent’s face. The Reverse Branch Swing Holding on to the branch with back claws and striking with front legs through the swing. The Trunk Swing Sliding down the trunk and springing off at head height, using hind legs to push off and clear opponents. (Good if tree is surrounded.) The Reverse Climb Climbing backward up the trunk as the opponent advances to gain advantage of height; often followed by Trunk Swing. Surprised? - - Move quietly and communicate using tail-signals. Cracking twigs, startling birds, and rustling bracken will tell the enemy exactly where you are. Keep downwind of the trespassers so that your scent doesn’t give you away. Look for freshly broken twigs, overturned leaves on the forest floor, remains of prey, or a clump of fur caught on a bramble. Any animal that moves through the forest leaves behind signs that it’s passed-and signs like this could lead you straight to the invaders. Keep your mouth open to search for unfamiliar scents. Be careful: If there is scent when there is no breeze to carry it through the forest, it could mean that your enemy is very close by. Light-colored pelts are easily seen against brown and green foliage, so stay in the thickest cover. Keep low-the enemy will be looking for movement at normal head height, not close to the ground. Never miss an opportunity to perfect your tracking ability. In the nursery, kits sneak up on their mothers and pounce with their moss-soft paws. Apprentices leap out on one another from behind bushes and tree stumps. These are more than just games. One day, these skills could save your life and defend your Clan.

( Posting so you guys can tag me when I'm online. When we manage to all be on here at the same time, should we just go out on a patrol? There doesn't seem to be much we could do in here, other than giving Owlpaw his apprentice ceremony if we wanted to do that. )

( Off to the Border page? Also, I didn't see Sunpaw earlier. I was thinking of taking all my cats along, and you can too, if you want. )
Skyflight stretched and yawned in the bright sunlight. While the camp usually was shaded by the hills for most of the day, at around noontime was when the harsh sun struck the poor cats below; but the greenleaf heat wasn't so heavy today as it was for the days past, and she felt grateful for the extra energy she suddenly had again. Her paws itched for something to do—anything, whether it be just going out for a run in the clearings or having a snack. Her stomach grumbled at the thought of sharing a freshly caught, plump rabbit with a friend. Hey, that's not a bad idea.... considered the she-cat with a tilt of her head.
Standing up, Skyflight trotted over to where the fresh-kill pile was—only to find it exhausted of the best picks. She stared disappointingly at the tiny thrush lying in the mud.
"What's wrong?" came a meow from behind her. A crimson-pelted tom padded up to her side and followed her gaze to the fresh-kill pile. "Oh. Well, wanna go hunting?"
Skyflight shrugged. "Sure. You should take Owlpaw with you."
"I can't seem to find him anywhere," laughed Redfleck, but suddenly started when something jabbed at his leg. "Oh, there you are."
"Uh, may I come too?" Owlpaw just stared at his mentor.
Redfleck blinked. "Of course. And why don't you grab Sunpaw, too?"
Owlpaw nodded and ducked out of the conversation, scampering off.
Skyflight, now unofficially kicked out of the conversation, just whisked her tail aimlessly and stared at their quiet camp. "Oh, Robinsong! We're going hunting. Care to join us?"

(Sure, after everything gets setup)
Robinsong had been sunning herself in a corner of the camp. The young she-cat was just recovering from a minor cold, and wanted to get as much of the sun as possible. The black and white she-cat raised her head when she heard her name and blinked at Skyflight. "Sure! Where to?" She mused, getting back to her paws.
Meanwhile, Sunpaw was by the Elder's den, patching up a small hole with moss. StarClan knows what Elders would say if the harsh sunlight penetrated the tree that they slept under. She had just finished plugging the hole when she heard pawsteps behind her. The young jet-black apprentice leaped down off of the branch she was on to greet her clanmate, having already scented him.

( Sorry for poof )
"The moorland!" Skyflight replied. "It's so claustrophobic in here. I just want space. And a fresh piece of prey." She jumped from one foot to the other; it took conscious effort for her not to dash off to the clearings, where the horizon seemed endless and the ocean of tall grass went as far as the eye could see. As the moments passed, she began to notice, quite painfully, the emptiness in her stomach. "Redfleck," she called. "Tell your apprentice to hurry up."
"What? No. Let him take his time." Redfleck flicked his tail dismissively.
Owlpaw stood, waiting expectantly for Sunpaw to drop down beside him before he announced the hunting patrol. To be honest, Owlpaw felt very nervous. This was his first real patrol! He thought Redfleck would make such a big deal out of it—that everyone might have. It was scary, just asking to be on one, when just weeks ago he was confined inside camp. Now there was this new freedom—no, there was this new unknown that was there now. And it consisted of expectations and maturity. He had chores to attend to, prey to catch, battles to fight. He couldn't brush off the feeling of restlessness and his quickening heartbeat.
"S-Sunpaw? My mentor said we're going hunting and wanted you to come along... I think Skyflight and Robinsong are coming with us, too."

(No worries!)
Robinsong let out a purr of amusement at this; she could almost feel her denmate's excitement on her fur. "Excited to be on patrol?" She asked teasingly as they waited.
"Great! Of course I'll come!" Sunpaw mewed brightly. Ever the little flash of energy, she darted by him without waiting for a response, already heading to where the patrol was gathered. As a new apprentice, it was her first patrol as well, but for Shadowstar's daughter, nothing seemed to be too daunting of a task.

Skyflight chuckled. "As excited as a kit going out to catch butterflies for the first time!"
Owlpaw jumped aside as Sunpaw practically blew by him. He narrowed his eyes at the breeze his friend made as he ran by. The moment passed, and then the small tan tom was running too, trying not to fall too far behind as they approached the three warriors standing at the camp entrance.

Pinepaw padded out the apprentice den looking around camp, he noticed a patrol getting ready to leave camp. He sat down to give his pelt a quick wash, licking his right paw and drew it over his ear a few times.
