Heatherstorm watched as Tigerkit went off with the medicine cat, finally breathing a sigh of relief when he did so. It wasn't that the tabby didn't enjoy helping out, but the frustration from the ordeal was a bit much to deal with. At some point soon, she really would like to talk to Shadowstar. Although the knowledge of knowing when to was a bit clouded.
Graypelt watched as his apprentice brought over the herbs, giving a slight nod as he took them from the other cat. Without hesitation, the medicine cat began creating a small poultice to be applied to the scratches. They may be only scratches but he wasn't going to take any risks with a possible infection. He twitched an ear at Tigerkit's mutterings.
"When you're old enough, perhaps you can help. But it is as you say. For now you are simply too young," The tom spoke, now beginning to press the mixture into the kit's wounds. Thinking of these claw marks, he couldn't help but be reminded of why this kit came into his den in the first place. Just the reminder alone was enough to make the gray-tom's gaze flicker with annoyance. Even if his sister was going to talk to Shadowstar, very soon would it be himself as well.

"Just something to look forwards to." Dewpaw hummed "When you're an apprentice things will get a lot better." he was moving the seeds he had organized to the stores to avoid stepping on them again. There were a fair amount of seeds and it took him a little while. Once he was done he went back and watched his mentor work.

Tigerkit patiently waited for Graypelt to put in the poultice and cobwebs in his scratches. "Thank you Graypelt, am I free to go or do I have to stay here?" Tigerkit sat down and sniffed around the medicine cat den, recognizing yarrow, catmint, the disgusting mousebile. Tigerkit watched Dewpaw sort out the large number of seeds and was impressed at how efficiently the medicine cat apprentice was working. "You look like you're going to be a great medicine cat!" Tigerkit hoped that the compliment would cheer up their spirits of getting more herbs.
Snowfur padded back into the camp and put both pieces of fresh-kill on the pile. Looking back, Snowfur watched the medicine cat treat the poor kit and a wave of sympathy came over him. "Poor kit, he shouldn't have to experience that." Snowfur looked up at the Highstone and noticed that Tiffany was sleeping in the sun. AGAIN. "Is it even possible to make a warrior out of her?" Snowfur wondered. Tiffany is pretty young, but he attitude towards training and her warrior age makes it more difficult to properly teach her the techniques. At the very least, she could be trained with fighting skills since she was so eager to attack Tigerkit. Snowfur gave his pelt a quick lick and then stepped outside the entrance to watch for any incoming cats.

Dewpaw shot the kit a grateful look "Thanks! I'm doing my best to learn everything Graypelt has to teach. Soon I'll be able to do a lot of the healing." he was good at simple things and had started to learn more complicated ways to heal.

Badgerstripe shook out his fur laying back down. "Alright Rainpaw, that was very good. Now let's practice the Front paw strike. Simply slice down award on your opponent body or face or body." He balance on his back legs and slashed his right front paw through the air a few times. "Attck with a enough force to stun them so you can attack agin." Rainpaw readied herself, pushing energy to her back legs. She had never really been only on her back legs. This one was going to be hard, she realized. She padded over to Badgerstrike, and tried to balance on her hind legs. She was not good at it, and fell over quite soon after she tried. She got up again and stretched out her hind legs, hoping she just needed to exercise the right muscles and they would work well for her. |

Another way to do this move arch you back a little and lash out." Badgerstripe arched his back before slashing his claws through the air. "I wish we had trees so we could rake our claws against them. Next time I'll being another apprentice so you can train with someone on more equal ground."

Heatherstorm heaved a small sigh before her ears pricked, watching as Snowfur left for camp entrance again. The she-cat's interest was slightly piqued. Was the tom doing something interesting? She couldn't help but wonder as her paws brought her to the entrance as well, peering outside to be met with the other warrior again. "Would you like to come with me to speak to Shadowstar later?" The brown tabby asked, her blue eyes wide with wonder.
Graypelt finished with Tigerkit's dressing and looked over to Dewpaw with a flat expression. There was some sense of pride that swelled in his chest by what his apprentice had been saying about him, and about their role in the clan. Still, his attention was soon taken by smaller dark-furred tabby tom again. "You're free to go, I'll call you back later on to check on how the scratches are healing," He stated, his amber gaze was very clearly eyeing the kit right now. From what he could see, the poultice and cobwebs had been applied finely as always, but for them to be worn by a kit of all cats.. he couldn't help but worry for how long they'd stay on him.
Probably not long at all. He commented inwardly. Not like he could stop the tom from messing them up anyways, but he did have some hope that the kit would respect what they had done for him more than that.

When the kit was out of earshot Dewpaw muttered "I don't want to talk poorly about a clan mate. But who in their right mind claws a kit? That just seems cruel." he watched the it move away, a worried look on his face. When herbs got hard to find they couldn't be wasting them on injuries that could have been avoided.

Tigerkit nodded to Graypelt, "I promise to stay good until you can take the cobwebs off." Feeling a little hungry, Tigerkit padded out of the medicine cat den and sat near the fresh-kill pile, wondering what to eat. Tigerkit noticed that TIffany was already fast asleep on the Highstone and felt a little uneasy. She could attack without any notice, but maybe his Clanmates would help him.
Snowfur sat outside the entrance breathing in the fresh, cool breeze that flowed through the moorland. In less than a moon, TIgerkit would be known as Tigerpaw and a new mentor would be assigned to him. Hopefully Tigerkit learns defensive techniques if Tiffany would dare attack Tigerkit again in the near future. Hearing a rustling sound and the scent of his Clanmate, Snowfur turned around to see a brown tabby she-cat asking him a question. "Sure thing, we've got to let the leader know that attacking a kit is not okay. Also, would Graypelt be interested in telling his side of the story? How badly injured is Tigerkit, because I can see TIffany sleeping the day away." Snowfur looked up and glared at the sleeping Bengal she-cat. When she came to Cloudclan, she seemed to be suddenly displaced from a seemingly wealthy Twolegplace, coming in with a gold and sparkly collar.

Bluenose was lounging in the shade near the fresh kill pile. His tail flicked slowly showing that he wasn't asleep, just closing his eyes. The warrior wasn't interested in talking to any of his clan mates and had cracked open an eye when the kittypet jumped the kit. He had snorted and closed it again.

Rainpaw nodded, another apprentice would be a good idea, but also in battle she was going to run into cats larger than her, she knew. It was good to practice on a lot of different sizes of cats. She remembered when she was a kit and would try to stalk Oakfall from where he was. Back then, she didn't understand that something was off about him. She just saw other kits playing with their father and mothers and since her mother had passed, she thought Oakfall would be okay with it. That day, when she had pounced on him and he had lashed out at her, calling her rat-food, she had to be protected by another warrior. They explained to her that Oakfall was in a fog state of mind and didn't know what he was doing. She never crept up on him again. |

( Okay, since nobody responded the first part, I'm gonna teleport my cats back into camp with their food lol. ~Skyblaze~ ) Skyflight trotted back into camp happily with a bird and two squirrels hanging from her jaws. Redfleck and Owlpaw trailed from behind together, the warrior holding two blackbirds and the apprentice struggling to carry his medium-sized rabbit. Skyflight, as hungry as she was, carefully dropped her kills in the empty pile save for the squirrel she planned to share with a friend. Peering back behind her, she called, "Robinsong! Wanna share this squirrel?" |

"I think that's enough training for today. "Let's head back to camp." Badgerstripe said turning around stretching his back legs for a second and padded over to the edge of the training meadow waiting for Rainpaw. The black and white tom was feeling a little sluggish at the moment and wanted to head back to camp probably return to his best, he so figured that Rainpaw wanted to go back and check on her father.
