Unfortunately for her, Buckpaw was already outside. With his back turned to the entrance to the apprentice's den, he didn't realize Foxpaw was running out until she collided straight into him. "Woah!" He yowled, spinning around. His fur stood on end until he saw it was her. He relaxed a little, but his tail flicked with slight irritation. "Careful, there." He mewed.

He didn't seem to notice the fact that she had spaced out, and he had talked about waking up for slightly too long... At the mention of food, his ears perked up. "Yeah. That sounds good." He mewed, standing up.

Buckpaw sighed between bites of mouse. "I just have to look after the elders. I really wish I could have gone on patrol, though..." He looked on into the forest with disappointment. Then he shook his head, clearing his mind, and then turned to Foxpaw. "How about you?"' "Not much, just a bit of hunting" Sitting up, she whispered, "I haven't seen my mentor in ages, I've begun to train myself" She jumped up. "You wanna help me do some hunting?" She yelled while running away through the entrance. Not listening to tell if he was following her, Foxpaw started looking for prey. Spotting one she stopped, dropping into a hunting position. Slowly heading over to it, she pounced. {I'm just testing out something} |
