Leafsong sat in her den, sorting herbs. It was very messy because a mouse had gotten in there and ran around the den, scattering the piles of carefully sorted herbs. She noticed she was running low on catnip. Leafsong padded out of the medicine den to go and collect some more.
Nightclaw felt a little hungry so he walked over to the fresh-kill pile. He spotted a small thrush near the top of the pile and decided he'd eat that. The black tom laid down and took a bite of the bird.
Foxpaw dropped to a hunting crouch when she saw a brown rabbit munching on a blade of grass. Her ginger paws silently carried her closer to her prey until she was close enough to pounce- or so she thought. Foxpaw leaped, landing just behind the rabbit, which was running away. The apprentice ran after it, but the rabbit was soon so far ahead of her that she had no idea where it had gone. With a sigh, Foxpaw sniffed the air in hopes of finding something else.

Liontail looked at her and smiled, "Thank you Watersplash." He murmured and nuzzled her neck.

Liontail purred softly and sat down next to Watersplash. He looked at the she-cat in front of him and knew that the feeling he felt earlier was not a hallucination.

Watersplash watched as he sat down. She gazed at her paws. She realized that she actually had feelings for this Tom. She didn't want to push it so she decided it wasn't a good idea that Nestle up with him.

Rainstar padded into Leafsong's den, "Hello Leafsong." She meowed kindly to the medicine cat.

Watersplash looked up at him. "Sure." She purred. She playfully flicked his nose with her tail before darting off.

(Hey Luna. Just for you I added an herbs list. Hope you like it. If it's hard to read I can make some adjustments to make it a little easier.) Rainstar padded into Leafsong's den, "Hello Leafsong." She meowed kindly to the medicine cat. (Thank you so much! Don't worry, it's not hard to read.) Leafsong looked up from her herbs when she heard a voice. "Hi, Rainstar," she replied. "Do you need anything?" She hoped that the leader wasn't hurt or sick, or that if she was it wasn't anything bad. |

Rainstar purred at the medicine cat's concern, "I'm perfectly fine Leafsong, just checking to see how you are settling in." She sat down and looked around the den, it was the perfect space for a medicine cats den, with the small pool of water in the middle and the different levels of roots that were perfect for storing herbs.

Waterspash decided to be clever. She stopped mid run, spinning to attack him. She jumped on his back trying to pin him down.

Liontail stood his ground, digging his claws into the ground so that she couldn't push him down. "How's that working for you?" He teased jokingly.

Waterspash purred in mock frustration. She held on to his shoulders and peeked over his head. She purred and licked his face. "Its working just fine!" She teased.

Watersplash purred and jumped off of him, she headbutted his chest gently. "Mean furball." She purred.

Leafsong noticed Rainstar looking around the medicine den. "It's perfect, isn't it? There's spots for me to store herbs and there's enough space so that sick cats can stay in here if I need them to." She paused. "We're all really lucky that you found this place after the fire. It's a great place for a Clan to be."

Rainstar smiled kindly at Leafsong, "Thank you Leafsong. It was a clan effort. I wouldn't have found it without all of the help I had." She sighed softly, remembering when they found this place. "It's almost the full moon. We'll be taking a journey to the Starcave soon so you can meet the ancestors and officially be the clans medicine cat."

Leafsong nodded, excited about getting to go to the Starcave. She had spoken with StarClan before, but it was only briefly, in dreams, and at the place in her old Clan where they had visited StarClan. She had never actually seen the Starcave for herself. "What's the Starcave like?"

Rainstar purred, "The Starcave is amazing. In the center is a large pool. The walls are covered in sparkling stones that reflect the moons light when it hits the water through a hole in the top of the cave." She explained, her eyes bright as she remembered it, remembering every moment of when she received her nine lives.

Leafsong listened to Rainstar describing the Starcave. It sounds so beautiful! I wish I had gotten to go there, too... The medicine cat shook the thought from her head. It doesn't matter, you'll get to go there soon. "It sounds like a wonderful place," she told Rainstar.

Liontail batted gently at her side, "Does not." He purred.
Rainstar purred, "You will love it Leafsong. Only you and I are allowed to go there from our clan until you get an apprentice." She explained. "When we find other clans that border us then they may also use the Starcave for their leader and medicine cat."

Rainstar sighed gently, "I think when the time comes that we find another clan, I will appoint a deputy and we will take care of visiting the new clan's leader to discuss the relationship between our clans" She explained, remembering how the leader had done it in their previous clan.
