Rainstar thought for a moment, "Wait to speak to Darkwind." She pointed out the tom to him. "Lilydawn is very sweet, she's over there with her kits." She pointed towards the nursery to the queen who was laying in the sun, her kits playing in front of her. "Dawncrescent is kind of quiet so maybe wait to speak to her as well." She looked around and noticed Liontail and Watersplash exiting camp. "Those two who are just leaving are also very nice, Liontail and Watersplash." She noticed Vixenfrost, "I haven't had a chance to get to know Vixenfrost but from what I've seen she also seems nice." Lastly were her kits who were exiting the apprentices den, "Then there are my kits, Stonepaw and Mistypaw."

Vixenfrost was licking her fur and making sure it was smooth. She would flick her ear occasionally listening in to the sounds around her.
Addertooth returns from hunting. He pads over to the fresh kill pile and lets his catches fall with the other pieces of prey.
Darkwinf was staring at the ground. He seemed to be growling to himself and flicking his tail back and forth. The black and white tom was lost in his thoughts which tended to be pretty negative.

Watersplash padded out into the forest. She found a flat piece of land to start in. "Okay then." She purred playfully.

Mistypaw approached Vixenfrost, "Hi Vixenfrost!" She purred happily. She looked up to the older she-cat.

Swiftflight couldn't help but chuckle quietly at the amount of choice he had of who to talk to. When Rainstair pointed out Lilydawn, something seemed to reel him towards her so smiled at Rainstar and nodded in thanks.
"Thank you again, Rainstar. I'm honoured to be a part of your clan." he mewled, as he walked in Lilydawn's direction, being aware of the kits and doing his best to avoid interrupting their playing.
He gulped.
"H-hi!" he croaked nervously. "My name's Swiftflight, Rainstar's just let me join the clan, a-and I just wanted to introduce myself to the members."

Liontail chuckled, "I thought we were training." He mrrowed in response to her playful tone.
Rainstar noticed him head towards Lilydawn and purred. Rainstar was always fond of the other she-cat, they'd been very close growing up, best friends as apprentices.
Lilydawn opened her eyes and looked up at Swiftflight with a kind gaze, "Welcome to Willowclan Swiftflight. I'm Lilydawn. It's wonderful to meet you." She purred. Her kits tumbled towards her and jumped all over Swiftflight.
The little orange kit looked up at Swiftflight with wide eyes, "I'm Flamekit." He meowed.
The brown tom puffed up his chest, "I'm Pinekit."
The little she-kit moved closer to her mother and shyly said, "I'm Midnightkit."

Swiftflight laughed at the kits jumping over him and playfully crouched down to their level, swaying his tail.
"It's lovely to meet you all! I bet you're all gonna grow up to be strong and awesome warriors!" he meowed encouragingly
He then looked up at Lilydawn again, grinning widely.
"They sure are full of energy, I'm sure ya did an excellent job of raising them!"

Watersplash easily slipped from his grip and nipped his tail. "Maybe you do too?" She whispered. She knew he was a better fighter bus she knew she was good.

Mistypaw sat down beside her "How are you?" She asked the warrior.
Lilydawn purred, "They are a challenge but I do my best."
Midnightkit hid next to her mother, just looking at Swiftflight.
Flamekit and Pinekit tried to climb up Swiftflight's fur while he talked to their mother.

Swiftflight grinned at the two kits climbing his thick, long fur.
"They sure are persistent!" he chuckled, lifting his paw to catch Pinekit who had slightly slipped.
He felt a lump in his throat as he heard himself ask,
"D-do you mind me asking what happened to their father...?"
He regretted asking such an intrusive question so soon after meeting a new cat.
"Sorry...I don't know why I said that..."

Mistypaw smiled, "I'm alright." She mewed, "my brother has been putting burrs in my nest lately though." The young she-cat mumbled in annoyance.

Liontail felt his fur heat up and rolled, batting at her.
Lilydawn sighed, "It's alright. Most of the clan knows." She admitted. "When I came here they were too young to know their father. He was killed in the fire that chased me out of my old clan, along with Rainstar and a few others." She explained.

Watersplash purred. She stumbled out of the way as he batted her flank. She regained her balance quickly before rearing up at him. "Have to do better than that." She meowed. She realized she started having fun doing this.

Swiftflight's ears flattened and his mood completely changed, he frowned in sympathy and slowly sat up, trying not to startle the kits too much.
"Aw, gosh...That's awful...I'm so sorry you both had to go through that..."
He looked up at Icestar who seemed cheerful and hopeful.
"You both seem so strong...I know we've only just met, but I admire you for getting through it and being as strong as you both are."
He smiled with empathy, placing his paw on Lilydawn's shoulder kindly.
