Brindlewing led her to camp. He led her to a shady part of camp.

Shadewillow gasped. "We need to continue healing her though!" She protested, but then rushed over to the unconscious Amberheart. Feeling fear take over, she quickly shook the she-cat in an attempt to wake her up. "Please!" She pleaded nervously, taking some strong-smelling herbs and waving them around Amberheart's muzzle.

Maplefern curled up next to brindlewing. Her bleeding slowed down and she cleaned the blood of her leg while Brindlewing cleaned it off of her ears.

Featherstar paced the camp, worrying about her warriors that were injured in the fight with the fox. How could this happen to us? She wondered.
Amberheart whimpered softly in pain.
Firewind sat by Amberheart, watching as Shadewillow and Gullpaw treated her.
Shadowkit crept out of the nursery, glancing around, before running toward the trees. He giggled when he scented a mouse and crouched down. He pounced and managed to catch the mouse.

Featherstar nodded. "Shadewillow and Gullpaw will take good care of her." She took a deep breath before continuing. "Brindlewing, I know you are concerned about your sister. However, WaterClan needs all of its warriors. You can stay with her for a little bit, but you can't be by her side until she gets better. I do need you for patrols and hunting."

(No worries SnowStorm - glad to have you back! While you were gone, a fox attacked a patrol that had Brindlewing, Maplefern, Firewind, and Amberheart. Firewind killed the fox, but both Maplefern and Amberheart are seriously injured.) |

(You can jump in wherever you want. I have Autumnleaf and the kits all open - Shadowkit just sneaked out of camp, actually. Perhaps one of your characters can find him.)
Shadowkit squealed and dropped his mouse, kicking some earth over it to hide it, and continued on toward the edge of the island. He looked down into the water. He had heard some cats complaining about having to swim to leave the island. Surely swimming can't be that bad, he thought, wading out into the water.

Ashstorm let out a huff, leaving her mopey brother behind as she stalked out of camp to do some hunting. The black and white tom was worried for Amberheart and wouldn't stop fidgeting. The gray she-cat shook her head irritably, focusing instead on the scents in the air. Taking a deep breath in, Ashstorm held it before frowning. Was that a kit she smelled?

Gullpaw breathed quickly and unevenly. His tail quickly swished from side to side. He didn't know what to do, but he ran after Maplefern anyway. "W-we need... To help her..." He stumbled over his words. "W-what are you doing here?... We need to get her to the medicine den...."

Hearing a faint squeal and a splash, the tabby she-cat's eyes widened with shock. So there was a kit out here! Breaking into a run, Ashstorm tracked the scent in the air, heading towards the sound of a splash. She knew that the water could be dangerous to cats of all ages, especially to a kit. Breaking into the clearing, stormy blue eyes searched the waters. "Kit?!" She called out, forgetting the name in her panic.

Shadewillow continued to treat Amberheart to the most of her knowledge, but looked st Gullpaw as he raced away. "Gullpaw, get yourself together!" She hissed, not having time for this at the moment and losing her patience with him.

"Don't worry! I'm coming!" Ashstorm called out, plunging into the waters without a second thought. After a breif moment of frantic searching, the stormy blue-eyed she-cat found the kit's scruff. With a small heave, Stormkit's head broke through the water. "I got you. Don't worry kit" Ashstorm mumbled out, heading back towards the shore.
