Brindlewing felt happy. He had just met the She-cat of his dreams. Forget about Amberheart and Featherstar!
Maplefern limped to her brother. "Where have you been?" She hissed. She smelt Airclan on him. "You smell of Airclan" She gasped.
Brindlewing turned to his sister Wow, i think fireclan just heard her! "Say it louder, i don't think the mice quite heard you" He meowed. "I found a Airclan cat on our territory" He came up with an excuse. Lets hope she takes it! Wait this is Maplefern, She can tell the truth from anything!
"Yes and i'm a mouse" Maplefern told him. "Who gets happy to see an intruder? I could see your happiness from the border. Just tell me, You are meeting some she-cat at the border aren't you?" She snapped at him. But she was actually nicer than the usual Maplefern.
Brindlewing nodded. "Don't tell Featherstar, Don't tell anyone" Brindlewing meowed. I'm dead! Maplefern will tell every single blade of grass in the forest if i make her mad. For Starclans sake, she might even go across the border and tell every blade of grass over there
"I'm your sister, do you really think i would tell on you? We aren't kits!" Maplefern reassured him

Amberheart pricked her ears as she overheard Brindlewing and Maplefern's conversation. An AirClan cat?? She thought, feeling a little envious. She knew it was Ravenstep that she wanted to be with, but she had to admit she had liked the other tom mooning over her.

Maplefern licked her paw. Happy for her brother. But she was still unhappy. she had self confined herself to the camp because of her injuries. She had to make herself useful. She padded to Autumnleaf. "Do you need anything?" She asked.

Amberheart nodded to acknowledge his words but didn't respond.
Autumnleaf looked up at Maplefern. "Actually, could you possibly watch the kits for a little bit? I could really use some fresh air and a good stretch. I'd like to leave camp for a little while, but with these four," she looked at her kits, giving Shadowkit an especially hard stare, "are too much trouble to leave alone."

"Yes! I love kits!" She tried to sound..... Happy. Little furballs! She sat down. Watching the little kits.
Brindlewing touched his tail to amberhearts cheek. "What's wrong?"
(what time is it in the clans time? Does it happen to go off of your time zone?)

Tidepaw raced after his leader. FINALLY! He had something to do. He wished that Icepaw was here, but he knew that if he had woken her up to come with them she would no that've thanked him.
Dawnstream looked over, and saw the happy expression on her sons face. It made her mouth curve at the edges. Turning her head she could just catch a whiff of FireClan scent if she really strained her nose, the wind blowing it to her from their territory. She wondered how her brother was doing. She heard he had kits now. Maybe one day she would meet them. She turned her attention on where she was heading. She wondered if there would be any skirmishes on the border. She unsheathed her claws, hoping to be ready for any confrontations.

Autumnleaf nodded to Maplefern gratefully as she padded out of the nursery.
Shadowkit, Frostkit, and Heatherkit were wrestling inside the nursery. Fawnkit sat to the side, watching them.
Featherstar lead the patrol out of camp. Firewind followed her.
Amberheart shook her head. "Nothing," she murmured.

Maplefern watched the kits, Purring as she curled her tail around her paws. I want kits someday, but i am too focused on being a warrior, and a good sister.
Brindlewing watched Maplefern from a distance. He admired his sister's patience. Im surprised she is watching kits! She has the patience of a new apprentice! He looked at the little kits. Someday, i will be watching me and Thistleberry's kits. It pained him to think that he might lose his kits if he has them with thistleberry.

maplefern smiled at the kits. she flicked her tail on the ground for them to give chase.
Brindlewing slipped out of camp and swam to shore. he silently padded over the smooth green grass. Using this oppurtunity to practice walking lightly. He smelt the smell of mouse, Creeping slowly he came to a point that he could see the mouse's tail. he pounced and caught it. Feeling it wriggle beneath his claws he let it go. letting a purr of amusement escape him as it ran away.

Maplefern lifted her tail and lightly swatted Shadowkit with it. She got an idea. "You want t learn the hunters crouch?" She asked the kits.
Brindlewing neared the border He eventually saw Thistleberry pad down the hill. He smiled. He loved seeing her. He looked up at the darkening sky. "Hey." He meowed too her. She nuzzled him.
Thistleberry purred "Hey, Brindleperfectwing." She meowed, letting out a mrrow of laughter

Gullpaw took stock of the herbs, he sorted them and tried to remember their names. "L-let's see... We're running low on um..." He murmured to himself. He shook his head, he didn't remember the names of most of these herbs. He put the herbs away and went to tell Shadewillow they needed to find some more, he looked around for Shadewillow.
