Bushes rustle behind you. You jump, startled, your fur on end.
A ring of cats has been formed, surrounding you. A lithe brown she-cat steps out. "You are trespassing on OwlClan territory!"
This cat is a leader, but you remain defiant. "So? I'm not ruled by the likes of you!"
The she-cat's eyes glimmer with amusement. "Feisty, eh? I'm Owlstar. Leader of OwlClan, the strong and winged." Her tail swishes back and forth, her wise gaze studying you intently.
You gasp in astonishment, glimpsing at the wings on her back. "I thought I was the only cat who had wings!"
"These?" Owlstar spreads her own chestnut brown wings. "We have been lacking members lately, but if you have wings, maybe you would like to join us?"
You shuffle your paws, not wanting to be attacked, but also a bit curious. "Why would I do that?"
Owlstar narrows her eyes. "You will learn how to hunt and fight with wings." She paused for a moment and tilted her head. "But, it is possible that it will cost your life, you defending the Clan and your fellow Clanmates."
This sounds like a pretty good deal actually...
Owlstar flexes her claws. "Will you join?"

Powers-
All Clan cats have been born with powers. Powers that you can't even imagine. OwlClan has wings and can see far in the night. HawkClan has wings too and can see far in the day. FernClan can blend in with its surrounding instantly. ThorClan can make their fur into spikes in a second. LeafClan can control vegetation. OwlClan can fly and they use it for tons of different purposes.
OwlClan cats start to grow and develop their wings after one moon. Their wings shall be fully grown at four moons. They should be able to fly smoothly by the time they are apprenticed.

Rules:
(Please check regularly)
1. No cussing, swearing, etc.
2. No apprentice queens.
3. Follow all WCRP Rules.
4. If you spam, you will be reported. When you aren't using grouping symbols and aren't rping, it might count as spam.
5. Please be active, at least once a week rp with someone else. If you are going to be absent for a little while, let me know and I will excuse you. HawkClan password is fly. Otherwise, you may be a member who has been deleted. Once you are deleted, I will save your form in case you come back. ThornClan password is thistles.
6. Your pelt is not green, blue, or pink. Make it something reasonable. You may say that it looks purple against a tree.
7. Proper grammar and punctuation are implied. FernClan password is leaf. Please try your hardest to do this, I will be fine as long as you try your best. If you are not rping, but you need to say something to the person, put it in (parentheses or brackets of some type).
8. No one liners. 3-6 lines of good roleplay will do. OwlClan password is wings.
9. Don't take fighting, mating, etc, farther than the books do. You will get a warning from me. If you continue to do this, you may be reported. If anyone is seen doing this, please alert me immediately.
10. No god-modding. Ask the person rping if it is okay to kill their character.
Example: Foxheart whipped out her claws. Snarling, she plunged them into Bumblewing's body. He died in an instant, blood gushing out. She turned to Doveflight, who was cowering in the corner. Foxheart wasted no time in plunging her claws into her throat. Soon, she lay dead beside Bumblewing.
11. No kit stealing, rescuing, etc.
12. There is no such thing as a perfect character. They all have flaws, no matter how small.
13. When not rping, please use grouping symbols such as, {([ These are grouping symbols ])}. If you'd like, you can use ~these~ instead. I like them better.
14. Please be active at least once a week. If you need to take a leave, you may do that, but notify your Clan Leader/Founder so that they don't delete you.

Territory-
OwlClan territory is full of trees. It has springy pine needles that line the floor of the forest. Surrounding camp are thick bushes and pine trees, this providing cover for the OwlClan cats. With hardly any clearings, the territory is shady and cool, with quite a few shallow streams running across.

Camp-
You enter the camp through a path made of pine. Brushing past a thorn barrier, you step foot on stone that covers the ground inside of the camp. This camp is unique, it's completely contained within a cave. Sheltered by pines, you see the leader's cave is straight ahead. It is right underneath a willow, the cave covered in moss. A small stream trickles inside of the camp cave. It runs through the middle, rocks there to help jump across. On the left side, you can make out the apprentice's den. Behind it you can see the Elder's den which is side by side with the leader's den. On the other side oof the stream, you find yourself looking at the Nursery, which is on the other side of the leader's den. On the right, closest to the entrance of the big cave is the Warrior's den. This is the biggest one of all, having a wide opening and the greatest circular area.

History-
There were originally 4 Clans. They had always been there, never questioning their presence. WingClan, ThornClan, FernClan and LeafClan. This was how it was for many generations.
Eventually, a leader in WingClan came to power. His name was Thrushstar. Thrushstar had wild ideas. He loved the thrill of the fight, and he loved his Clan deeply. One paw-step over WingClan border? Battle. Mark the wrong rock? Battle. Even note that WingClan had done something wrong at a gathering? Battle. WingClan was strong and feared, but it wasn't healthy for them. Every WingClan warrior, apprentice, queen and elder bore scars, and many had died from Thrushstars' insatiable need to prove his Clans' worth. One night at a gathering, just as Thrushstar was about to announce a war for one of the clans stealing a piece of prey, there was an uprising. Half of WingClan argued against their leader. The other half insisted that it was the right thing to do. The leaders of the Clans quickly settled down the noise and bickering, though it was clear that if they didn't do something, that WingClan could be torn apart. The leaders of ThornClan, FernClan, and LeafClan challenged Thrushstar. If he could beat all of them at once, he could have all the Clans' territories for WingClan alone. However, if he lost, he must leave WingClan and the Clans forever. Thrushstar lost. However bold he was, Thrushstar could not win against all three of them. He fled into the night and was never seen again.
However, there was still a rift in WingClan. So, that night they changed the territories, and by the time the moon had gone down, there were two separate clans. OwlClan, and HawkClan. ThornClan had agreed to move to the other side of the Clans' territories, that way the dispute between the newly formed Clans could settle. HawkClan quickly took to the mountains where ThornClan had once lived, and ThornClan found that they much preferred the shade of the pine trees in part of WingClans' old territory. Ever since the five Clans live their lives as they had before Thrushstar's rule, and everything has gone back to normal.

A light brown she-cat with short, thick fur. She has light blue eyes and an excellent poker face. She tends to be very serious, energetic, and calm in almost every situation. If she is under a it of stress, Owlstar will not let anyone, but her deputy and medicine cats see how worried about something she is. Owlstar tends to be quite serious, sometimes her temper flaring to keep her frustration and stress under control. She doesn't have any siblings and was born in OwlClan. Her parents hoped that she would persevere like the Clan she was born in, so she was named Owlkit. Both of her parents are dead to this day, leaving her with no one to support her besides friends. She is 33 moons, a very young cat to be dealing with any sorrow.

Sunskip
Sunskip is matter-of-fact tom, and isn't afraid to speak his mind. If he disagrees with something, he will let you know. This can get him in trouble with older figures (often times his father when they get into quarrels), and even the Clan leader. However, as the healer of the clan, he often gets a free pass from his plaintive words, and rarely gets punished. He's fine with the fact that he can't have a mates or kits, and frankly thinks that they are bit too much trouble for his liking, even though when around them he does have a much softer demeanor. He isn't in good standings with his sister, Krestletail, because she won't tell him about who his brother in law, and the father of his niece, is. Even though he and his father do yell at each other a lot, it is clear Sunskip takes after Milkwhisker. Sunskip is a well-muscled brown tom with the same copper eyes as his pa. His whiskers are even the silky texture that Milkwhiskers' used to be. Sunskip has rather large paws, and he isn't afraid to swat at you with them if you annoy him. His father is Milkwhisker, his mother Hickoryleap. His niece is Sootpaw. Some cats see him as annoying, or rude. He is willing to have an apprentice at 39 moons.

Swanfeather
She is a pure white cat with dashing green eyes. She has thick, long, white fur that tends to be pretty wispy. She tends to be quite charming, almost always getting what she wants when toms are around. Normally she is very calm, and you would most definitely describe her as graceful. Swanfeather's sibling died of greencough last leafbare, leaving her to mourn alone. She has no other kin in OwlClan. Swanfeather is a bit of a romantic, always wanting to be part of a dramatic love story with another cat. At 22 moons, Swanfeather is really hoping to get a mate.

Icewind
Icewind is known to be a rather secretive cat. She can be seen going around camp, listening in on gossip as one of her hobbies. In result, she can be a source of information. However, she's known to be a bitter cat that's hard to befriend. It would take a little bit. But that's just who she is. A bit snobby, sassy, and secretive. She's not very interested in romance, at the moment, but does have a soft spot for kits. She loves them with a passion and would love to have some one day. Icewind's bitter and unhappy personality turns to sweet and gentle when she's talking to kits, or playing with them. She'd be a good mother and has the protectiveness to do it. Icewind's protectiveness really comes into play during her warrior duties. She may not care very much for other cats that are overly peppy, happy, but she happens to work best with them and could be good friends with a cat like that. Even if she didn't want to, she'd slowly learn to accept them. Once friends with a cat, she tends to be... Just a little less bitter than before, however, she never loses her personality as a whole. Icewind is a lengthy, grey she-cat with a stubby tail. She has mostly a dark grey pelt. However, she is dotted and spotted with a lighter grey, along with black and darker shades of grey than the rest of her fur. She has one pointed ear, she lacks most of her left ear. Her face is scarred on the left as well. Her eyes are a light, pastel blue. Her legs are unusually long, making her quick and agile. Her tail is stubby, being only two inches in length. She's well-defined and carries herself with pride. Her nose is black, along with her paw pads. Icewind's fur is sleek, rather than being fluffy. Her wings are the same color, however, underneath the wings, there is white along with lighter shades of grey. When the wings are folded, the white and light grey are not visible. As I said before. She's quite snobby. Icewind is bitter and unhappy, even when she has nothing to be upset about. She tends to see herself over many other cats, despite the fact that she's not any better than them. Icewind is 29 moons.

Sootpaw
Sootpaw is a loyal, over-eager she-cat who's always bouncing around ready to help with anything. To some, she is seen as annoying, always poking her snout around every corner searching for something to do. However, her excitement can be contagious and often gets other cats in a good mood. She's always happy to help clean the moss and ticks from elders, queens or kits, usually a dreadful task for apprentices. So long as she's contributing, shes happy. The she-cat eventually wants to have a mate and kits of her own, but until then, she's more than content to do tedious tasks to help out her Clan. Sootpaw is a small light gray mottled she-cat, with dark, almost black toes and the same dark ear-tips. She has a medium coat, with a fluffy feathered tail. Sootpaw is small for her size, but that doesn't sway her constant need to prove herself. She has stunning dark blue eyes, like that of the sky once twilight has broken. She has dark gray wings, with lighter gray mottled dots speckling them. Because Sootpaw is always so eager, she makes for a poor hunter, usually giving away her position to prey by wriggling around or giving a nervous yet excited mewl. This also makes her pretty bad at surprise attacks. She is 7 moons.

Dappledsky
Rank: (Young) Warrior
Personality: Dappledsky is a very happy go-lucky type of she-cat. She loves spending time in groups, and she has a sort of ease around her that makes her easy to get along with. The grey tabby is, however, still riding on the feeling of being a warrior. She feels like she is somewhat superior to others, and her loyalty is always to herself over anyone else. Nevertheless, she loves younger cats, and is already hoping for an apprentice. Dappledsky is a sleek grey tabby she-cat. Her eyes, a pale green, are speckled with flecks of gold, and her pupils are shaped more like slits than circles. Her fur is very long, hiding her tight muscular build. Protruding from her back are two elegant white wings, and she always strives to make these look stunning, no matter how long it may take in the morning. Dappledsky is extremely self-centered and vain. Her first priority always seems to be herself, a flaw that can cause many arguments. She can also be stubborn, a factor that plays into her vanity, and she will defend her point well after realizing that she was wrong. Dappledsky adores younger cats, and her self-centeredness only makes her want to 'pass on her skills' even more. Dappledsky is 17 moons.

Dreampaw
Dreampaw is shy and gentle pawed. She tends to be very loving and happy once you get to know her well; if you don't know her she tends to be skiddish. She is a pretty calico she-cat with pale blue eyes, a very pretty sight. This she-cat hates to hurt other cats, having the mindset that blood is her enemy. Normally she is nice to be around, very outgoing as well as intelligent and playful. Dreampaw is about as unagressive as you can get, hating to go into battle unless she is forced to. Even when she goes into battle she may use weak moves so that she doesn't do as much damage to her opponent. It is very easy to break her heart; she trusts and cares about every cat she knows. Dreampaw will have her revenge if you break her heart. Dreampaw is 7 moons old.

Seedflame
Seedflame is an older tom and thus has a more toned back and thoughtful personality. He would much rather stay put and plan through a strategy than rush straight into a problem. In many ways this gives him an advantage, and makes him more likely to succeed at the things he attempts. However, it can also make him extremely hesitant, and more often than not he will deem a task 'impossible' and abandon it. He is deadly loyal to his clan, and would sacrifice his own life multiple times if it was for the better of OwlClan. Seedflame is a skinny black tom, with flecks of dark grey color around his eyes and muzzle. Despite only being 45 moons, the warrior has the scruffy looks of an elder. His pelt is extremely thick, and due to it taking a long time to groom, is almost always messy. His eyes are a dull amber, and though they are widely regarded as the color of fire, they carry no youthful spark within them. He has countless scars across his body, but the most noticeable is one that stretches the length of his left flank. The wound has healed and reopened to many times for his to count, but the older tom doesn't seem to find this a problem. His wings are pitch black, with the tips of the feathers lightening to a dark grey. He is extremely critical of others, a trait that can often lead people to believe he is rude. He can also be extremely hesitant in his actions, and being indecisive is like a second nature to him. On top of this he can be seen as fanatic and doesn't understand why his fellow clanmates don't feel the deep loyalty to his clan that he possesses. He is willing to have an apprentice, but he would be very stern with them. Seedflame is 45 moons, a senior warrior that is older than Owlstar. He is bisexual, but thinks that having kits at his age would be impossible.

Whitesky
She is a very commanding she-cat. Has a lot of ambition and fierceness. Sometimes she has difficulty keeping her mouth shut. She is defensive of her home clan, Owlclan. She hates being insulted. She might even start a skirmish. A short furred sleek she-cat. Her fur is a graying white. She has one big blue eye that has little gray spots and a smaller yellow eye with orange speckles. She has black and orange spots all over her fur. She also has long legs and a short stubby rabbit tail. Whitesky is 34 moons and willing to have an apprentice. She can sometimes be overly protective of her Clan. She is believed to be half FernClan, but it isn't confirmed as she doesn't know her father.

Snakepaw
He tries very hard to be the best apprentice he can be by taking training very seriously. He still enjoys having fun and goofing off and is quite a jokester, but never during training sessions. Snakepaw is a lean, jet black tom with golden eyes. He also has a long, narrow tail. His inky, iridescent wings seem large for his body. Snakepaw is 8 moons, almost a warrior! He is a much better hunter than fighter. Snakepaw likes to take his time and consider his options. This is why hunting is easy where he has time to strike whereas battling is in the heat of the moment.

Krestletail
Krestletail is a lovely she-cat who takes after her mother in many ways, and not just in appearance. She has her sweet tone and understanding and motherly nature and was padded after by many toms. However, no one actually knows who her mate is, despite being asked the question many times, not only by her parents and brother but by her own daughter as well, never said a thing. Every time, she just shakes her head and walks away. However, she does wish she could tell her clanmates, her mate doesn't want the clan to know. Krestletail is a sleek mottled gray she-cat with brown underwings like from father, and gray overwings from her mother. She gets most of her features- like her coat color and lean body- from her mother. Again, like her mom, she has blue eyes, though a couple shades darker. She has a long tail and a light frame which she uses to dart around a battlefield, quickly leap into flight or creep close to a piece of unsuspecting prey. Because she won't tell anyone who her mate is, she can be seen as untrustworthy and secretive. Her mother is Hickoryleap, her father Milkwhisker. Her brother is Sunskip. Her sweet kit is the apprentice, Sootpaw. Krestletail is willing to have an apprentice at 39 moons.

Sundapple
Sundapple is quick-thinking, witty and very intelligent. She is generally sweet-natured and cares for others. Sundapple stands up for herself and her beliefs to the point of stubbornness. She has good intentions but isn't always the best at carrying them out diplomatically. She can be sassy, but the other side of her is sweet. She is a white calico, black tortoiseshell, and golden tabby she-cat. The calico is splotched on her back and on her paws. the tortoiseshell is on her face, belly, and ears, and the tabby is interchanged between the splotches of calico, between the tortoiseshell, and on her legs and tail. She has emerald green eyes that look like leaves on a tree. She can be a little abrasive and upfront about her feelings towards other cats, but tries her best to fix what she says. It is hard for her to hold her tongue and can hold a very big grudge. At only 18 moons, this brand-new warrior is looking forward to having an apperntice sometime in the future.

Milkwhisker
Milkwhisker is a brisk old tom, who enjoys telling stories to apprentices and kits when he's not sleeping. And boy, you better believe that if you disturb him in his sleep, he will turn into a warrior from the dark forest. When disturbed, he can be stronger than any healthy warrior, with a tongue sharper than a thousand thorns. 'Cranky'', would be an understatement. He waits for the day when he can join StarClan and have strong legs, a shiny pelt, and a young body again. Milkwhisker is a plump, old tom, with dull chocolate-brown fur, and a messy unkempt pelt, no matter how much he grooms it. He has a long, fluffed out tail from age. His whiskers, though used to be silky and long, have now grown stiff and wiry. Milkwhiskers' wings are a slightly darker shade of brown than his pelt, with constantly ruffled feathers just like his fur. No matter how much he preens them, they always keep their dull, messy look. He isn't afraid to glare at you with his dark copper eyes, as a warning to stay away. He is very snappy when tired, and because of his old age, is not nearly as agile or fit as he used to be. His mate is Hickoryleap. His kits with her are Sunskip, Krestletail, and Bettlefoot. His grand-kit is Sootpaw. Milkwhisker is 81 moons old.

Hickoryleap
Hickoryleap is a sweet old she-cat with a very patient temper unlike her mate, Milkwhisker. In her warrior days, she used to be quiet the active cat, as given her name. She's constantly scolding Milkwhisker for hissing at young kits when they tramp on his tail during his naps. She's always had a vague interest in herbs, though she didn't want to follow the path of a medicine cat, for she wanted to be able to have a family, which she has. Hickoryleap is a dark gray she-cat with a light gray underbelly and tail. She has brilliant blue eyes and a nick in her left ear from her warrior days. The old she-cat, unlike her mate, has managed to keep a groomed pelt and neat feathers, though she isn't as good with flying as she used to be. Her pelt still has some of its bright sheen from when she was younger. Though as sweet as honey, Hickoryleap, unfortunately, has rather bad memory, and constantly has to turn to her mate with help for remembering small tasks. His mate is Hickoryleap. His kits with her are Sunskip, Krestletail, and Bettlefoot. His grand-kit is Sootpaw. Hickoryleap is 79 moons.

Fenneltuft
An open but somewhat rude she-cat. She loves to tell stories to others. Fenneltuft is fairly bossy when it comes to ordering Apprentices as she used to be deputy moons ago before retiring due to her losing her left eye. She might seem fierce and hard to open up too but really she is sweet. She has long brown fur with small white spots over it like a deer. Her eye is a dark blue. Her ear has a small bite in it from a battle when she was an apprentice. Her legs are black and their is a black spot on her nose. Her fur is meduim and is somewhat curly. Fenneltuft has a smaller tail. Her tail is mainly brown with black speckles. Fenneltuft has been through a lot and can be very misleading with the way she talks. She is fairly nice once you get to know her but she has grown a cold exterior to newcomers. Fenneltuft is 76 moons.

Rogues & Loners-
Athena
Athena is a light brown tabby she-cat with gray-blue eyes. She has black tabby stripes all down her flank. Her short wispy fur gives her a dangerous look that most Clan cats flinch away from. She has black wings that stand out. She generally has a cold personality, leading to curt words and easy fights. She has quite great fighting skills, used to living by herself. Hunting isn't a problem either, being self-taught. She snaps easily, has a constantly flaring temper, and tends to send cats running. She rarely admits any weakness, being capable of taking care of herself. Athena may be descended from the great WingClan, her parents driven out. Athena is 23 moons.

Peppermint.
Peppermint is a very sweet little cat. She's always looking to please those whom she spends time with. She's the kind of cat that's passive, but one wouldn't want to cross her while she's angry. She apologizes for no apparent reason, even if it's something small and fixable. She doesn't have any intent to hurt any cat, believing that every life has value and worth, even if the cat had been terrible in the past. Peppermint tends to get a stutter when she's nervous, along with fidgeting her wings and paws from under her. She feels regret and remorse for many things and is kept up at night thinking about past conversations and things she had done right. She gets held up on simple little things like that, and bigger things make her feel terrible. As she is mildly anxious, she tends to stay to herself. She attempts to not bother clan cats and believes that if she's alone, she can't make a fool of herself. She can be very shy at times, but always polite and respectful. The she-cat has a small build. Everything about her is small--Well, almost everything. Her wings are bigger than they should be, making her clumsy and have to drag her wings or fly everywhere. Overall, she's a silver she-cat with light grey markings. They're softer, with less sharp edges and more swirly patterns, curves, and half-circles. Her nose is a light grey as well, but her paw-pads are a pastel pink. She has one particular marking just under her left eye that looks like half of a heart. Speaking of her eyes, she has light green ones. They're a lighter green, like grass in spring. She has quite a few scars. One which is hidden under her left wing by the feathers, but the most noticeable one is on her neck. It goes from her shoulder to her jaw-line. She's quite embarrassed about it and gets flustered talking about it. Her over-sized wings constantly drag on the ground, making the ends usually dirty until she cleans them. They're the same color as her fur, a light silver. She's nervous and very anxious. She gets held up on things and is a little bit of a push-over. She's sensitive, and extremely clumsy due to her wing size. Peppermint is a very young cat, at 11 moons.

How to Apply: To apply, you need to pluck the petals carefully. Make sure the petals aren't rotting, it means that these aren't good anymore. Now you chew it into a poultice and lick it into the cat's wound. Make sure the wound is clean before using. The petals are generally sour. Often times, medicine cats will pluck the flower from the stem, this way they can use the nectar and the petals. The nectar is added to give relief to the patient. Lots of times, it will be mixed into a poultice. To get to the sweet nectar of the flower, you need to take the part in the middle of all of the petals and slice that open on top of a leaf.
