"Well....We spotted a fox. it's was a ways from the camp, but still close enough to stumble apon it and damage the camp," Shadedfur explained in a surprisingly serious tone.
Echoeyes turned, "just another cat. It, no, it smells like a tom...but I'm not sure. It's an old, faint scent, but I recognize it. It's probably from earlier this morning," she then shook her head, "I dunno. Call me crazy! It may just be a cat from another clan, or a rogue. But, either way let's keep our senses alert."

Forest's eyes widened and he wrapped his tail tightly around Quietsong. "You're okay now. They're gone and won't hurt you ever again."

Snowstar and Smokefoot; The ThunderClan leader's eyes darkened at the mention of fox. She had seen foxes before, and been in fights against them. Snowstar knew they weren't pretty, and cats could be very easily hurt or killed. "Thank you for telling me. We'll need to get more brambles to surround the camp for extra precaution, and send a few cats to chase the fox out. I'm going to send you two on that patrol, you know where it is better than the rest of them."
Windwhisper; A cold shiver went down her spine. She wasn't exactly the most... easy-going cat when it came to trespassing. Not to mention that they could be hostile, and cats had attacked RiverClan before. "I will. Good observation," Windwhisper said calmly, her tail flicking over the ground with determination.
Quietsong; She gently shook her head. "What I went through... W-What happened back there will never end. They're not disbanded, a-and they know where I've gone. The whole story is t-too long to tell... But I know that... They'll c-come back one day... They're not tolerant towards cats whom r-run from them..." Quietsong looked down. "They've gotten here before, they'll be here again."

Forest pinned his ears back and stared at Quietsong with worry in his gaze. "I'd tell you to get Smokefoot and run away... I'd go with you. But I know you're both loyal to the Clan." Pausing, the tom gazed outside of the hollow then turned back to Quietsong. "I just want you to be safe."

Quietsong; Quietsong shook her head "I can't do that... I'm n-not as loyal to ThunderClan as it may seem." She sighed, flicking her tail. "I only came b-back... To try to take Smokefoot away... But he didn't want to go. So I stayed with him until... Well... until they come back to get me... I won't be surprised when they do, either. I'd go after an i-item I lost too..."

"You're not an item!" Forest meowed in shock, taken aback. "Maybe you and I can talk to Smokefoot together. Or maybe the Clan leader can think of something. I'm sure I'm not the only one here wanting to keep you safe." He said in a softer tone, petting her flank with his tail.

Shadedfur nodded, her green eyes fierce, but wide with wonder as well. She would be able to at least go near the fox again. She'd never seen one up close like that before! Shadedfur then backed out of the den, waiting for the others to follow. Echoeyes shook as the unfamiliar scent lingered in her nose. It wasn't threatening, plus it was fading. She didn't think any danger was to come. "I don't think we're in any danger," she said in a surprisingly serious tone. Echoeyes was cut off mid strife as she tripped over a root in the path. She then shook herself off, snorting before turning around. "I'm such a clutz!" She said, and it was defiantly no lie, she was both the youngest, and most clumsy out of her family. Even when they were adolescents she still know that for a fact.

Snowstar and Smokefoot; Smokefoot followed her shortly, trotting close to her. Snowstar exited the den with a strong stride, shoulders back to make her seem powerful. Her head stayed upwards, and she jumped onto the rock that she made announcements from. She began running through cats in her mind. "Shadedfur. Smokefoot. Behind me." She meowed. "You found the fox, you deserve some recognition for it."
Windwhisper; She stopped, giving a gentle purr of amusement. "Are you alright? Clumsiness can be painful sometimes." She poked at the paw that had gotten caught with her own paw. Windwhisper stared at her, concern sparkling in her soft green eyes. She still wasn't sure about the sense. Sure, they were safe, but what if cats had been trespassing?
Quietsong; She obviously didn't agree with him, one could tell from her facial expression. She didn't trust some of the cats in ThunderClan. Snowstar knew about what happened, and dismissed it. When she had told her, she had gotten respect from the leader. However, Snowstar said that they wouldn't find her here, not among all the other scents. It had been moons since they had last shown their faces there, so chances were that they wouldn't find their way back. Quietsong did have to agree with her reasoning, but paranoia still tore at her brain each day she was able to see the scars. She also said that if they were to come back, she would have ThunderClan behind her. "I don't want to put those cats in danger. I've hurt too many already; I can't be responsible for more deaths."

Shadedfur felt a rush of anxiety, yet pride as she stepped up to sit just behind her leader. She sat, gazing around at the cats staring on. She sighed, but kept her expression serious as she felt a surge of happiness rush through her. Shadedfur gazed at her many clan members; picking out her family members, there was Lightningfoot, her brother. And there was Flurryheart, her aunt that had joined the clan not so long ago. Of course, Echopaw and Redpaw were gone. Shadedfur then realized that she didn't know her two sister's warrior names, or if they even had one at all. They'd left just two days before the ceremony, which devastated both her and her two brothers, Lighting foot and Windrunner. Windrunner! she thought, where is he? she scanned the camp clearing, seeing him secretly enter the camp and sit behind the group of cats, his white and grey, tabby pelt soaked. where has been? she thought to herself.
Echoeyes purred, "I've got a thick skull, trust me." She then blinked, her different colored eyes sparking. Echoeyes sighed, "I've got something called h-Heterochromia," she said with a a runt he'd muzzle, "that's why my eyes are blotchy, and mismatched in color," she explained, "I also can't see as well as an average cat. That's why I'm the clutz I am," she said with another purr. In a way, she was proud of her condition. It helped her prove to other cats that she was just as good as any other warrior, Heterochromia and all.

"You're not putting them in danger. If they choose to fight for you, then they are doing it because they want to. Or they care for you." Forest responded, smiling slightly. "I'd fight for you. And maybe... maybe they won't be able to find you. Or maybe..." The former loner trailed off, not eager to speak his mind. "Maybe we could somehow make them think you are dead."

Snowstar and Smokefoot; Snowstar cleared her throat and began calling cats under the highrock. She waited until many cats had gathered, looking over them with a satisfactory glare in her eyes. Smokefoot's eyes scanned the crowd. Quietsong was nowhere to be seen, and that worried him. Where else would she be? A shiver went down his spine as he remembered one of the last times he didn't know where she was. Shaking the thought off, he reminded himself that things were different now. Snowstar sat on the rock, and cleared her throat again. "I'm sorry to disturb your evening. However, we have news that has become alarming to ThunderClan alone. Just earlier today, Shadedfur and Smokefoot found a fox on our territory. Obviously, I will not be taking this lightly. I will need cats to volunteer to go out and begin building on the brambles; If the creature was to attack, we all need to be on guard and ready."
She took a second to stare at the sky. "Tomorrow morning, we will send out a patrol to find the fox and either chase it away or kill it. This patrol will be lead by Shadedfur and Smokefoot, as they know where the fox has been nesting. I expect you all to be on guard, and ready to attack the potential threat at any second now." She meowed, flicking her tail. The way her jaw was aligned, and the way her ears were back, any cat could tell she meant business. Snowstar was known to be a kind cat, but when her clan was threatened, she was no fun and games, all serious. She stared straight at the queens, whom were nudging their kits back into the Nursery. Giving a satisfactory nod, Snowstar looked back at Shadedfur and Smokefoot. "Anything you two would like to add?"
Windwhisper; "Ah, alright." To be honest, Windwhisper wasn't phased by any of the Heterochromia. She didn't know there were side effects, however, she was happy to learn about her condition. It did make sense to her, as many things did. "But just so you know... You're just as good a warrior as any of us here, maybe even better, Heterochromia or not. Don't let it bring you down." She meowed, flicking her tail. "No cat deserves to think less of themselves just because of the way they were born, after all. We're all different, and we should learn to accept and love our differences. They're part of who we are as a cat. Your condition may make it a bit difficult to see, but you've pushed past it amazingly. And to me, that's pretty spectacular." She paused momentarily and a small smile crept onto her face. "If it makes you feel any better, I think your eyes are gorgeous just the way they are."
Quietsong; Quietsong was taken aback by his suggestion. She even went as far to lower her ears backwards in confusion and disapproval. "Dead? It's not like they're here, we can't just fake my death right now. To find them, we'd have to go beyond the places where Kittypets live. It's quite a journey... And they'd check for a heartbeat. An objective cannot be completed until the heart stops beating... At least, that's what they told me." She meowed, obviously uncertain about the whole "faking death" thing.

Quietsong; "Hopefully..." She murmered, glaring down at the ground unsurely. She kept thinking back; What she had told was only a mere atom in the scope of it all. She was a different cat, and she knew it. She even had a different name. Occasionally She heard growling of the name in her ear, or was referred it in her nightmares.

Shadedfur nodded before stepping forward, "foxes are dangerous, but they ignorant and noisy like a kittypet! We will know if they are around, and we can prevent an attack. Beware!" Shadedfur then bowed her head, and spoke quietly to Snowstar, "I will be ready when you feel I am needed, Snowstar," she said in a strong, yet calm voice. Echoeyes could feel her pelt go hot. She smiled, "t-thanks. That means a lot," she purred quietly. Echoeyes then grunted, "I don't get it. Your always so positive and supportive. You're always faithful. How?" She asked while slowing to walk with Windwhisper.

Quitesong; She fell quiet, unsure of his abilities. She knew that he must've survived somehow, so trusted instincts. However, she didn't want to threaten his life for her own. Giving a gentle sigh, Quietsong's tail wrapped around her body and lied on her paws.
Snowstar and Smokefoot; She nodded. "That will be all. I will be contacting the warriors to be on the patrol as soon as possible," Snowstar meowed, flicking her tail, dismissing the meeting. She turned to properly face the two cats. "Wonderful. For now, get a full stomach and a rest. We need you at full ability tomorrow." She meowed, jumping down from the rock.
Smokefoot gave a nod to his leader, and shrank back slightly. He felt bad about not being able to talk to her, but something in him just froze up whenever he tried. "Should we go get some food?" He asked, changing the topic quickly. "She did say to be at our best."
Windwhisper; She blinked, thoughts running through her head. Giving a gentle purr that rumbled at the back of her throat, she began to walk slower as to stretch out the time. "It's who I am. I want to help, it's what I was raised to be like. There's no dark backstory. It's just that I've seen cats suffer and there's no cat that deserves to think down on themselves. If there was anything that I could do to prevent that... I'll happily do it."

Shadedfur smiled, "sure," she said while trotting over to the fresh kill pile. She looked over the food, the clan wouldn't be at a loss without their catches today. Shadedfur decided she would let Smokefoot decide on what to eat first.
Echoeyes purred and rubbed against Windwhisper, "well. It's amazing!" She said happily. Echoeyes focused on her paw steps, she noticed they began to reach a muddy patch. Common for riverclan, but it was a pain to get out of her long, white and grey coat.

Smokefoot; The tom jumped down. He scanned around, still looking for his sister. Taking a deep breath, he assured himself that he was fine. She was fine. Everything would be okay. Looking over the fresh-kill pile, he considered what he should get. Mice were decent, thrush was his absolute favorite though. Squirrels would give him much more energy, though, so he selected one. Looking over at her, he waited for her to get something before he walked off.
Windwhisper; "Oh, thank you." She meowed, a new pep in her step. The compliment had obviously made her happy, as even her eyes seemed to glow at this point. Her face was flushed, red under her fur. Gently stepping into the mud, she waited for a second with all of her paws out. Measuring how deep it was, she slowly began to put more paws into it until she was striding through the sticky mud, still careful of places where a cat could fall in.
Quietsong; "I'm hoping you're right." She meowed, gently nudging him. Why are you even doubting him, he's probably right... They have other trainees.

Quietsong; The she-cat looked out. She had nearly forgotten that they weren't in ThunderClan. For some reason she felt at home, even if it was just that moment. Giving a gentle nod, she exited the little ex-home with a graceful jump. Landing on a few leaves that crunched under her paws, she looked back up at Forest to make sure he was coming as well. Slow-poke. A mouse could catch you! She teased internally, not completely aware that he couldn't hear her taunting.

Quietsong; She looked at him and gave a slight smile along with a short nod. She wasn't sure if it was appropriate to talk anymore. After all, she didn't feel comfortable doing so yet, and this was all so natural to her at this point. Quietsong was happy to support Forest and be shown where he had been living. It was a big step to be shown such an important piece of his history. In return, she also shared something she kept close to her. Her voice. She had already decided that one day, she may share her history. But now was not the time. She wanted to be closer to him before revealing what she had done and what she went through. Rather, that felt like the better decision.

It was small, but then again, she wasn't that hungry. She followed Smokefoot to a shaded areas under a tree. "So.." she said searching for conversation started, "guess I was wrong about today being dull afterall." Echoeyes awkwardly stepped through the mud, her paws making terrible popping and sticking sounds with each step. She decided to use the roots sticking out of thr ground her advantage. She hopped from root to root with only a few paces in between. Echoeyes felt something flutter inside her, a new feeling she didn't recognize.

Smokefoot; Giving a slight snort of amusement, he nodded. "Tell me about it. I can't believe we found a fox!" He meowed, lying down. Biting into the squirrel, he kept remembering how much better a thrush would have been. The shaded area was nice; Cooler than the other air. The ground felt nice to lie upon after a long day, filled with chasing rouges and running from foxes. It cooled him down quite nicely. His fur was lighter, so that also helped. But he couldn't imagine what it was like for a cat with longer fur, that had to deal with the fluff all the time. Windwhisper; Managing to get out of the mud, she brought her right paw up to her face and began licking it off. She had learned that it was better to get off immediately, instead of letting it dry. Honestly, it was better to wash it off with anything but a cat's tongue. It tasted absolutely disgusting. Dipping her paws in small puddles, she washed them off quickly. The mud was sticky, which Windwhisper was obviously annoyed by. Flicking water and excess mud off her paws, she shook her entire body off just for good measures. "Ugh, mud. Sticky, messy, disgusting mud." She muttered unhappily, looking back at Echoeyes.

Quietsong; "Yes, please..." She muttered, nodding slowly. "I really don't want anyone knowing that I even have the ability to talk. Most cats thought I was born muted." She flicked her tail and the ends of her lips curled up slightly. "Which was exactly what I was going for. If I've never talked, I'll never be expected to. But if they know I could..." Quietsong sighed, staring up at the trees. The sun was setting at this point, meaning they really should hurry back to camp. The moon was rising, along with the stars. "I would have to answer so many questions. It's rather nice being silent... You don't have to reply if you have no response." She meowed calmly.

The she cat then huffed, feeling lazy again, though her voice was still energetic, "now we get to track that mangy thing down. Won't that be a joy?" She said sarcastically. Shadedfur then took a delicate bite out of the shrew. She always felt awkward when eating in front of other cats. She was a fraud it would come off as rude or pig like. Echoeyes landed on hard ground again. She shook herself off, bit of mud flying everywhere. She shook her back paws out as best she could before quickly licking the remaining mud from her forepaws away. Echoeyes huffed, "tell me about it," she said with an annoyed hiss before shaking herself off again. "Certainly doesn't help when you have a white and grey, long haired coat!" She said with a slight eye roll.
