Ferntail
Ferntail sheathed her claws, not noticing that they had unsheathed themselves. She let out a deep sigh before glancing at her paws. "Every cat knows her as Rainstar." She mumbled. "I just know her as my sister. I mean, we were hard on each other as kits but she took away what I could've been." She replied to him sadly. She didn't want to talk about it any further than that. Not that Rainstar was a bad cat, but since then Rainstar and Ferntail had distanced from each other. "She doesn't even recognize me as a sister anymore." |

This time, Raventwist couldn't fight the surprised look from his face. Rainstar? Taking away something Ferntail, or any cat for that matter, could have been, their potential? Shaking his head slightly, he focused back on Ferntail. "I'm sorry that that happened to you, honestly and truly." He said, "And I apologize for bringing such a heavy topic to light."

Shaking her head, she forced a light smile. "Its the past now. I guess we both haven't been... well, we're both mouse brains at times." She chuckled softly. "Anyways, I should go..." She mumbled. "It was nice talking to you though." She met his eyes, her own shining. |

(I kinda take relationship stuff as they come. It's kinda hard for me to jump into an RP saying 'This character likes this character', ESPECIALLY without RPing the two together first.)
Raventwist nodded at her, his smile coming back. "It was lovely talking to you as well." He said, dipping his head to her, his smooth personality setting itself back into place, "We should do it again sometime."

[Yeah, I take them slow. I do think Ferntail should have a crush and a comfort level towards Raventwist, but its not something I want to race towards ] Ferntail
She brightened up again. "I'll see you around." She turned tail, padding away contently vanishing into her den with a long overdue yawn. She settled down in her nest, but she couldn't sleep yet. She rested her head on her paws, her eyes closed but not asleep. He really is something. Ferntail thought quietly, to embarrassed that she had even said that in her mind. |

Raventwist watched her pad off, twitching his tail happily. It wasn't everyday that he got to have a pleasant conversation with someone. It was almost odd. He stood and purred, walking off to go find someone to pester.

Usually if I see a cat that I like from someone else I'll rp with them and see what happens, but I don't force it. How a cat is described and how a cat is roleplayed is two different things. I 'ship', I guess?

It was coming upon highnoon now. A patrol had left earlier in the day leaving Smokesong to her own resources. She had just finished the small sparrow she found laying beside the fresh-kill pile instead of on it. She slowly go to her paws. She almost felt relieved she didn't have an apprentice to mentor, leaving her to do her own thing. She glanced around before deciding to slip out of camp.
» Rowanflame
Rowanflame found amusement in the apprentice. He had been sunbasking majority of the day, doing nothing to contribute. He almost felt bad, but decided he didn't care. He'd do something tomorrow. Maybe. He had a dead vole with him, but he wasn't eating it. He rolled over on his backside, the warmth of the ground on his pelt was enough to keep him sastified. He rolled onto his side and relaxed.

Redfur
Redfur spotted Smokesong slipping out of camp and decided maybe she would like some company. Upon catching up to her, the tom hung behind slightly before he spoke up, "Am I alright if I join you?" He caught up to her side now, inclining his head just slightly so it tilted. He had a hopeful expression on and inside felt like an apprentice all over.

Smokesong turned her head, her eyes widen in surprised as she looked over to him, she recognized Redfur quickly by just the sound of his voice. He looked really eager to get out of camp. She flickered her tail and she gave a soft smile before responding. "Sure." Her whiskers twitched slightly and her eyes brightened. "Wanting away from the Apprentices?" She teased lightly. She walked almost silently, heading towards the far eastern side of the territory.

The tom flicked his tail, falling into step beside her. "Very much so." He mumbled, the apprentice entourage was not something he wanted to be sucked into again. He noticed her tease and replied with a little smirk plastered on his muzzle, speeding up so that he walked two or three steps ahead of her, exaggerating his walk. "Do all she-cats walk like this?" He retorted playfully, glancing back at her. |

Stormfire Stormfire blinked in suprise as Rainstar mentioned the missing eye. "No, I didn't check." He forced a calm expression, worried that he missed something very important. "I geuss everyone is okay, Badgerstripe injured his tail, but other than that i think we are all just a bit shocked and shaken up." He meowed. "Well there is nothing ineresting about the burrow, I'm not completely sure that it belonged to that fox, or the one eyed one, you mentioned. You may see it if you like, but it might be dangerous. Its possible the fox could return."

She started to pace, tail swaying behind her as she went back and forth. "Get Paleheart here please Stormfire." She flicked her tail, stopping. That fox is more a warning than a threat itself! "I need to talk something over with him." She said more gently this time, rather than snapping at the deputy. "Would you mind just checking Badgerstripes tail over? If it gets infected, it could be bad for him." She suggested. "And yes, your idea for extra patrols will be used. Send two patrols at dawn and two at dusk." With that, she took a seat, flattening her ears with a worried sigh escaping her parted jaws.

"I don't walk like that!" She laughed. She ran up to catch up to him, mimicking how he was exaggerate her walk. When she caught up she began to walk normally, finding the exaggerated version of the walk gauche and off-putting. "Between you and me, I'd rather walk funny than be the Apprentices entertainment" Nudging his side as she said so. The Forest began thinning out and the sounds of the forest died out as they probably scared off everything nearby.

Redfur narrowed his eyes at what seemed to be a challenge. "Are you testing me?" He chuckled softly, flicking her ear with his tail playfully. "I guess I get the award for best entertainer." He said, trying to sound cocky. "And what do you get?" He poked her, his intentions to make her just slightly irritated.

Stormfire The tom was rather suprised at Rainstar's change of tone, but cooled down as she explained what he must do. "Right away Rainstar" he meowed, turning away and padding off into the medicine den. "Paleheart?" He meowed calmly, noticing the medicine cat in the den. "Rainstar wants to speak with you. Shes on the high cliff now." He breifly told Paleheart why and trotted out of the medicine den, looking around for Badgerstripe.

Badgerstripe
Badgerstripe followed after a short while, padding along briskly. Upon reaching camp, he stopped by the oak tree, giving himself a quick grooming to look presentable, before padding into camp. His tail had a dried coat of blood and fox saliva, which he hoped not many cats would notice. Once in camp, he flopped down onto his side in the shade in hopes of a light rest.

Stormfire Stormfire noticed Badgerstripe sitting under the shade of an old oak tree, and Lynxstep sitting nearby. "Hello you two" he forced his meow to sound friendly and calm, even though he couldn't help but rethink everything. "Are you alright?" He focused his question on Badgerstripe, particularly interested on checking if his tail was alright. "I know I'm no medicine cat, but Rainstar asked me to check your tail amd see if it could get an infection."

The tom sat up when his leader approached, wrapping his tail around his paws. "Well...the fox did seem larger than normal..." he confessed thinking back to the attack, "He was quite tall now that I think about it. I'm usually around the same size of a typical fox,but this one was quite a bit bigger than me." He looked over Rainstar's shoulder out towards the forest, "As for the missing eye I'm not entirely sure, but he'll probably have one now. My claws caught him right over the eye, it'll most likely become infected or he will loose sight in it." He replied looking back at his leader, "Has this fox caused issues in the past?" he asked her curiously.

Flicking her tail and narrowing her eyes in troubled thoughts. "The fox that you had run into is what two-legs call a cross breed. I believe the fox is more cunning and agile than a regular fox and is bound to come back for more blood. Especially after getting a taste of Badgerstripe." She pointed with her tail to the tom that sat talking with Lynxstep just a few tail lengths away. "And yes... the fox has caused problems in the past. That's why I'm worried."
Badgerstripe
The tom lifted his head, letting out a massive yawn. "Go ahead, while your at it, mind the fur. I'm quite fond of the color scheme." He huffed, sitting up, then noticing his worried expression, "I'm alright, just a tad sore." He mumbled.

"A cross breed?" He asked confused, his ears flattening against his head. "If it's a mix between a two leg's dog and a fox it's bound to be twice as dangerous, those mutts bad enough on their own." He mumbled, his plumed tail flicking back and forth. "What are we going to do about it? I chased it out of the territory, but if what you said is true it'll be back soon." Worried he looked at the rest of the Camp, "We don't need some mangy mutt causing more havoc, he's already injured one Clan member we can't let him harm another."
