[ I have a starter for them both on page 10 I think c: I can copy it over real quick ]
[ Foxlight | Warrior | 28 moons ]
Foxlight wandered back out of the warriors den, shivering slightly as she left the protection of the bush. Since she had came back from a early border patrol, Foxlight had been fixing a hole in the roof that had let a ray of sunshine wake her up. Despite having gotten up early, Foxlight wasn't feeling to tired. She wasn't quite sure what to do, a patrol hadn't been called for a little while, but she wasn't about to up and leave camp just because she was feeling antsy. She glanced around camp, surveying every cat that was there in the hopes of finding someone to talk to.
[ Knottedfur | Elder | 87 moons ]
Knottedfur was not in a great mood. He had been woken up by an over eager apprentice that brought him fresh moss. At first he wasn't too mad, until he realized it was wet. The apprentice left the moss in the sun, but hadn't returned since. Knottedfur had planned on retrieving the moss to fix his nest, but then decided to laze in the sun for a while. His gaze drearily drifted from cat to cat, his eyes distant and unfocused as he got lost in his own thoughts.

Scarletsky was sitting near the warriors den with a big vole laying by his paws, he flicked his tail in notion for Foxflight to come and join him. He smiled as he looked at her, and padded the ground next to him with his tail.

Foxlight was delighted when Scarletsky motioned for her to sit with him, she was glad to finally have someone to talk to. She was a very social warrior, and having spent most of the day alone was her crazy. She walked over to him cheerfully, her tail swishing behind her.
"Hey," Foxlight said in greeting as she sat down beside him.

Scarletsky nodded in greeting, "Are you hungry?" He mewed, "Would you like to share this with?" He took a bite and pushed it slightly over to Foxflight not sure if she was hungry or not.

Foxlight smiled sheepishly. "A little, thanks." She took a bite of the vole appreciatively. Foxlight stretched out her front legs, her claws extending out and scraping the ground before she relaxed. "Today's been a pretty lazy day for me," Foxlight said with a small chuckle. "Which is good I guess, means the clan is doing well."
[ ok, I'm trying to draw so I'll probably disappear once or twice ]

He took another bite after her and mewed after he was done chewing, "Yeah, but isn't that what we all want is a little peace and quite, before some power hungry cat wants to take over the world." He was half joking half being serious. He chuckled a little bit, "If you ask me I'm perfectly fine sitting around, as long as i know that no one is hurt and the clan is doing well I'm pretty good." He pushed the vole over to the she cat again offering another bite.

She laughed, and nodded. "That is true... it just makes me uneasy, y'know?" She asked, taking another bite of the vole, now feeling full. She pondered for a moment, glancing around the camp before looking at the camp entrance. "Peace always seems to make me uneasy, it's been a while since anythings bad happened..." She paused, feeling as if she was going to jinx there run of good luck. This leaf bare hadn't been as harsh and unforgiving as the others, sure there wasn't as much food as during green leaf, but it was still all too good. Last leaf bare was her first as a warrior, and she remembered working constantly and even having to go look for herbs.

"Yes it does make me uneasy sometimes, just cause i know that this peace won't last forever. " He mewed, "There are always going to be hardships but it's what you do with your life that makes the difference." He noticed Foxflight was full so he finished the vole in a couple of swift bites. Once he was done he licked his chops and then started to groom himself. Once he was done grooming his fur he looked over at Foxflight and mewed, "Would you like to get some fresh air with me?

"If you wouldn't mind my company, that'd be great," Foxlight replied. She licked her paw and flicked it over her ear, before looking back at Scarletsky. "I'll race you to the entrance," Foxlight said,hopping to her feet. She hesitated a moment to see how he would respond, ready to dart off at a seconds notice. Foxlight hadn't raced in a while, but she loved it, even if it was childish. She had always been pretty quick, but after becoming an apprentice it became one of her defining features, which is how she got the last part of her name, since she is so light on her feet.

Scarletsky looked at her competitively, he stood up and mewed "You're on!" He didn't wait for her to reply and darted towards the entrance. He looked back at Foxflight and smiled mischievously.

"You conniving fox!" Foxlight shouted, fully aware of the irony of what she said. Foxlight sped off after him, quickly catching up. Her strides grew longer the further she went, as she became more determined to win. She had slowed slightly once she had caught up to Scarletsky and simply ran beside him, but now that the camp entrance was in sight, and she could practically taste the victory, she sped up. She nearly tumbled past the entrance and out of camp in her haste to reach it.

Scarletsky laughed at Foxflight's ironic remark, once he saw she was catching up and started to run besides his he smiled, but there were something hidden in that smile. He push he legs to go faster as the she cat began to gain speed, he was right behind her when she tumbled out of the entrance, his eyes went wide and he tried to stop but he skidded into Foxflight flinging over her and landing on the ground infront of her. He laid upside down and looked at the pretty she cat laughing.

Foxlight was caught off guard when Scarletsky skidded into her. She wasn't able to stop herself from falling, and once she caught her breath she started laughing. She shook her head and stood up. She beamed down at Scarletsky. "I swear, I am a warrior," Foxlight said, snickering. She was very thankful that Rainstar or Stormfire had seen, she would've had a hard time explaining why she was acting like an apprentice other than it was fun. It was nice to take a break from constantly being serious and a model warrior for the younger apprentices.

Scarletsky stood up and shook out his reddish orange fur, "Well of course you're a warrior, dummy." He giggled and started to pad into the territory, he looked over his shoulder and mewed "Us warriors can have a little bit of fun too, I mean all of our duties are done." Scarletsky wasn't the tom to fuss over if anyone saw him having fun, in fact he loved to have fun.

"That is very true," Foxlight said, hurrying after him. "I love leaf bare," Foxlight said, stopping to stretch for a moment. She ran to catch up to him, exhilarated to finally be out of camp. The air was brisk, but not nearly as cold as it had been. Foxlight preferred this sort of weather, the cold air kept her at attention and ready for anything. "It's rough to have an apprentice at this time though," Foxlight began. "I remember my first leaf bare as an apprentice was rough, I couldn't catch a thing."

He smirked "See that's where we differ, I love greenleaf." He took a deep breathe and filled his lungs with cool air, "Ahhh but I also love it when it not too cold and not too hot." he kept walking taking in is surroundings, he looked at her with amusement in his eyes, "Well of course leaf bare is hard for apprentices, they're still learning." he mewed. "Apprentices around leafbare are still getting used to their nose and not being so noisy!" He chuckled.

Foxlight laughed warmly. "I'm still learning how to not be noisy," she said with a smile. "Once I'm hunting it's easier, but... it'd be easy to sneak up on me when I'm with a patrol." She shook her pelt, trying to fluff up her fur a bit to warm herself. She still definitely preferred leaf bare, even with a thin pelt. Her light ginger fur seemed to radiate heat in greanleaf, it was a pain.

Scarletsky's fur was pretty thick which helped with the cold, he scooted closer to the she cat ever to slightly so that his warmth radiating off of him would warm her up; their fur was barely touching. |
