Oh goodness. I just caught SOMEONE using my laptop and please ignore anything I've said on this clan. My older sis who also reads warriors and role plays on these forums has posted loads of stuff as me. I just read what she wrote and I'm appalled. That exact post is copy-and-pasted onto all the claim a cat clans you can think of. I wasn't even going to role play in Valley clan and I'm terribly sorry for sounding like a noob  I'm going to go kill my sister now. |

Where are you?``He called. There was no response. The rest of the clan had already made it to the tunnels to shelter, but Stagleap was determined to find his kits. The trees surrounding the moors danced in the strong winds when suddenly, he caught sight of a bundle of blue-grey fur partially hidden in a bush. Stagleap hurried towards it. His eyes widened with joy as he found three tiny kits.

He didn't believe for a moment that either of them were fantastic hunters, but together they made a pretty good team, and queens would certainly appreciate the fresh-kill. The brown apprentice couldn't help but grin; now, he had a story of his own to tell Frogpaw and his mother, and perhaps he might even impress his father... "Let's take it back to camp. I bet our mentors will be impressed!"
[ i lied im replying now but i'll be poofy cause im mentally drained ] Nightpaw purred in thanks. "I bet!" he meowed cheerfully, though secretly he wasn't sure Blackfoot would have anything to say on the matter. He shook off his disappointment at the thought to lead their way back to camp and to the nursery, paying no attention to the now mostly awakened camp. "Rosefall?" he asked, peering inside and trying to keep his voice soft in case she had fallen back asleep. "Cedarpaw and I brought you some freshkill." |

Feeling immensely proud of himself, Cedarpaw followed his friend across the camp to the nursery. I sure hope Rosefall is awake! The young cat was secretly hoping that the queen would be just as excited as he was, given that it was his first catch and he wanted to share the excitement with as many cats as he could. He settled besides Nightpaw and patiently waited for the queens' response.

Doespot's head dipped in an abrupt nod. She felt kittish for needing reassurance - what, was she 6 moons again, out in the territory for the first time? It was just talk of the prophecy, she told herself, so there was no reason to fuss. She followed Scorpionheart towards the lake shore, still keeping all her senses alert for anything out of the ordinary. It wasn't too quiet or too loud, which comforted her, but still. She bid for time by lapping at the water. Running long distance required a body's upkeep after all. "I can't remember if there's fish here or not," she meowed apropos of nothing. She stared out at the water. Was there even a way to reach said maybe-existing fish? There were some logs out there, but Doespot didn't trust her swimming skills enough in case she fell in.
Scorpionheart shrugged her shoulders as she bent down near the water's edge and looked into it. "Dunno, I've never been much of a hunter," she answered. "They tried to make me a hunter when I was an apprentice because of how quick I am but I could never catch the prey." With a laugh she rolled over onto her side and let her paw touch the calm water, sending out slow ripples. |

She hoped that wasn't too personal a question, if it was even any of her business. She couldn't quite relate to Scorpionheart - she had never wanted to be anything but a scout, even if the idea of being a hunter tickled her mind from time to time - but she could image it would be a troubling time. Not to mention discussing it with warriors who may or may not believe her, and needing to switch mentors. But maybe it hadn't been bad at all. It made her wonder about the current apprentices and if maybe they would switch as well.
