INTRODUCTION
Who are you, stranger, and why are you on HollyClan territory? I can see you are like me... Different. Were you pushed away from your old home by cats afraid of your talent? Yes, here we consider that a talent, not something that makes you an outcast. Actually, you'd fit right in here. My name is Crowfang, and I am a member of HollyClan. A warrior, actually. I hunt and fight for my Clan, protecting my Clanmates with my powers. Yes, we are all like you, from the youngest kit to the oldest elder. I'm sure Calicostar, our leader, and Weedmark, our deputy, would like to meet you. I suspect they'll give you a choice too. What about? Oh, I think it'll along the lines of a new home or just keep going. We don't tolerate rogues around here, but if they have powers we always offer them a home first. What do you mean what about the others? Oh... You mean the powerless. Every once in a while one gets accepted into our Clan. They have to meet with StarClan, our ancestors, to receive their power to be completely accepted. If StarClan rejects them, most likely they'll be chased off. It's a little harsh sometimes, but it's the way of the Clan. Well, we're wasting time just standing here talking. Follow me, camp is a bit far away, but I'm sure you'll be offered a night to rest before moving on, if you don't want to stay here, that is.RULES forum rules Be sure to follow them. I know it can be a little hard not to power-play or god-mode in a power-based role-play, but try not to, okay? If you need to refresh your memory, you can read them right here.
arguing and drama I'm fine with all this drama in role-play, just nothing major while I'm not here, okay? Outside of the role-play, go somewhere else. If two members do find themselves in a disagreement, I'll try to mediate but I expect you to work it out between yourselves.
stealing I don't care what type of kit-___ing it is, but it isn't allowed here. AT ALL. If ANYONE is doing something to our kits, they will be reported and ignored. Also included in this is stealing of my lay-out, anyone's characters, and any plot ideas. Generally everything on this page. You WILL be reported if I find out you've stolen something from this page.
activity Please, please, be active on this Clan! I'm not asking that you spend all your time here, but I would like for you to role-play at least twice a week. If you're going to be gone an extended period of time, just let me know in advance that way I can make a note of it and not accidentally delete you.
practicality Just because these cats have powers does not mean they are invincible. I've built in limitations to powers and will be monitoring everyone to make sure they don't go too crazy. Also, this includes "perfect" characters. No character is going to be good and kind after having a traumatic past. Make your characters interesting; give them flaws, quirks, and scars!
role-playing I don't care how you chat with one another, but while role-playing I do ask that you use proper grammar and punctuation. A few mistakes are okay (we're only human after all) but if it becomes a consistent problem, I will ask you to improve. There's also no minimum post length requirement, though I would like at least one paragraph (roughly seven to eight sentences) per post. It makes it loads easier to come up with a reply and it will help extend your writing abilities! If you have trouble reaching this length, perhaps this Clan isn't for you, though I would love to help you reach that point!
out of role-play Please use some sort of coding or something to help us understand when you're not in role-play or something. I don't care what whether it's colors or not, but just make sure it's obvious you're not role-playing.
spam Please do not start randomly posting on this page, like popping in and saying hi over and over again if you're not a member. It's quite annoying and you will be reported for it. Asking someone to come back to your Clan is okay, though I would prefer you send them a PM instead.
joining I'm going to be upfront about this and admit that I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to this. If you don't do the form my way, I will NOT accept you. Also, please do not start role-playing until you have been accepted by me. I will only allow a certain amount of apprentice to join as well, and I'll be keeping tabs on the genders to make sure they're even as well. There is also a JOINING PAGE. Please use it. You can use this link or scroll down a few posts until you see the important links section.
other I know that my rules may seem like a lot, but they're really not hard to follow, and I'll always be here to remind you of them or answers any questions you have! And just to make sure that you're still with me here, put your timezone in the 'other' section, just so I know you've read the rules.
NEWS
- April 1, 2017: I am back after a four-month long hiatus. As of right now, HollyClan is still open, but depending on my schedule and how much interest this place gathers, it may not be for much longer. I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone, but nothing is set is stone just quite yet!

TERRITORY
HollyClan's territory is odd to begin with, with the elements being constantly moved and whatnot. What's even more odd about it though is that it is broken off into four different sections, the main forest, the dead forest, the canyon, and the coastline.
- Evergreen Forest: As its name would indicate, this forest is always green. The odd part about it though, is that it not only has evergreen trees, but trees that normally shed their leaves in the cold moons. It's like this because cats with power over plants help keep the forest alive, helping with prey in those freezing moons. This is where they mainly practice their skills along with Color, Umbra, and Mentis cats.
- Burned Woods: The burned woods is the remains of part of a wildfire that happened many, many, many seasons ago, long before HollyClan settled into these lands. Legend has it that a cat with power of fire lost control and released their rage, burning this stretch of land so badly that nothing will grown there anymore. Everything there is either ashy gray or scorched black; there is no greenery or water flowing through this desolate place, and the air still holds the stench of smoke, like the fire is still burning. Here are where cats with power of Ignis and Umbra practice their powers. It's also a good place to practice stalking and trusting other senses than scent because of the rank air here.
- Rocky Canyon: Like all canyons, the Rocky Canyon was worn down by a river that changed course or dried up long before HollyClan moved here. Now, winds roar through the closed in walls, making it hard to hear and scent things. The footing is very rocky as well, and many cats have died trying to climb its walls. This is where cats with power over Aer, Terra, Lux, and Nox practice their talents.
- Salty Cove: A small, secluded cove in the southern part of HollyClan territory, Salty Cove gets its name due to unusually salty waters. Rocky walls jut out from the water, practically surrounding the area with only a narrow way in or out, always missed by the occasional twoleg boats that pass by. This is where cats with the powers Aqua and Tempestas practice their powers.
- Starlight Grove: Starlight Grove is where we meet with our warrior ancestors. It's just outside of HollyClan territory, and, as its name would suggest, is a small grove of trees clustered around a small pond, called Starlight Pond. To speak with our ancestors, we simply drink some water and then go to sleep where they walk in our dreams. We don't particularly patrol this area, but we visit it every once in a while to make sure everything is okay. Cats with the power of Sane visit this place the most.
CAMP HollyClan's camp is located in the middle of the Evergreen Forest, in a small dip in the ground with a steep back, impossible to climb. Each den is resistant to our powers, and have been for as long as any HollyClan camp can remember.
- Leader's Den: The leader's den is probably the smallest of all dens. It is located in the center of the circle of dens, each den spreading out in a circle from its starting point. It is a small cave dug into the steep wall that surrounds part of the camp, and hanging lichen partly covers the entrance. Directly across from it is the entrance to the camp, which the leader can always see in case of attack. It can fit two cats comfortably, but three can squeeze if they're smaller. Most of the time it's just the leader, and occasionally the leader's mate, should they choose to have one.
- Medicine Den: The medicine den is the second most complex den in the camp, rivaled only by the warriors' den. It was formerly a burrow or den used by a predator long, long ago and has been expanded since then. It now has an entrance a cat length across and a small tunnel about a tail length long to enter the den. It then breaks off into three different tunnels, all as long and as wide as the original. The one of the far right leads to the medicine cat's den, which is occasionally shared by a medicine cat apprentice. The center tunnel leads to the medicine cat's herb storage room, where little clefts in the cavern wall store herbs. The tunnel on the far left leads to the biggest room, where patients stay and are examined.
- Warriors' Den: The warriors' den is the most complex den, and by far the largest in camp, though it doesn't look it. It starts out as a small bush where the newest warriors sleep for about seven moons before moving underground. Yes, underground. The rest of the den is located in a serious of rooms all connected by a single long tunnel, sort of like a hallway. Each room houses a different power type, and there are twelve rooms to represent the twelve different types of warrior powers. Each room is a different size, depending on how common the power is. Warriors rarely ever sleep in rooms that belong to a power other than theirs, but it's not completely uncommon, especially if there is only one cat with one power.
- Apprentices' Den: The apprentices' den is just a large bush, completely and utterly resistant to powers. It's large enough to fit about ten apprentices, but the Clan has never had so many at one time. It lacks the rooms that the warriors' den does, teaching the apprentices that even though they have different powers, we are still a single Clan and must learn to live together and work as a unit.
- Nursery: A fallen log serves as the nursery. It's been hollowed out, and a tangle of roots, twigs, leaves, and mud cover one end while the other end is partially covered by hanging lichen. It's always warm inside, but not so that's uncomfortable. It also smells of milk, even when it is empty.
- Elders' Den: The elders' den is located next to the leader's den as another small cave in the steep wall. It is, of course, larger and warmer, seeing as a thick cloud of hanging lichen covers the entrance. The constant warmth helps with the elders' joints.
- High Perch: High Perch is where the leader will conduct Clan meetings. A sudden outcropping of rocks appears right above the leader's den, and is only accessible from within the den, where a hidden tunnel leads up to it.

POWER DESCRIPTIONS
There are twelve different powers that HollyClan knows about. While some powers may seem more powerful, they are all important and part of our lifestyle. Each power is limited, and only great masters can do some things, such as set fire underwater or even create hurricanes.- Aer: Cats with the power of Aer can control the air. They can change the way the winds blows to help them hunt better and even lift themselves into the air to chase after birds, but only experienced warriors can do this trick. Aer cats tend to be smaller and very fast, even without the help of the wind at their paws.
- Terra: Cats with the power of Terra have control over the earth. They can move large boulders easily with a flick of their tail, and can even create small earthquakes if they train hard enough. Masters of this power can cause large scale earthquakes, though that has rarely ever happened. These cats tend to be stockier in build, and have darker, earthier colored pelts.
- Ignis: Cats with the power of Ignis control fire. They can create fire out of thin air and control it easily. They are impervious to burning, though they tend to fear water for obvious reasons. Masters of this power can set fire underwater, thought only few have achieved this feat in the seasons HollyClan has lived in this territory. These cats come in all shapes and sizes, thought they tend to be ginger or black in coloration.
- Aqua: Cats with the power of Aqua can control water. They can turn it into ice or snow or even steam. They can also control its movements and make a sort of water whip along with various other ways. These cats tend to be sleek with water resistant coats that are blue-gray or gray along with blue eyes.
- Sane: Cats with the power of Sane are highly respected in HollyClan, mainly because the are always the Clan's medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice. They can sense a cat's pain or sickness in the Clan. They can even grow herbs in times of great need, though they mainly just hunt for them in the territory. These cats can also find herbs with a sense similar to when they can sense a cat's pain. These cats may know where to find herbs, but they still go through training to know how to use and identify each herb; that is not instinctive. These cats come in all sizes and coloration, though they tend to be she-cats most of the time. Male medicine cats are not uncommon though.
- Herba: Cats with the power of Herba can control plant life. They can help trees grow tall in a matter of minutes, and even make vines appear out of the ground to help them hunt and fight. Though these cats tend to turn to peace first, they are vicious in battles when the time calls for it. Masters of this power can feel the plants move and grow in the forest at the same time, though this takes a lot of practice and concentration. These cats tend to be smaller and lightly colored in browns and grays, and have green eyes most of the time.
- Tempestas: Cats with the power of Tempestas can control the wind and rain, making a rainstorm. This power has a slight subsections, seeing as there are several different types of storms. They are snowstorms, hailstorms, and regular rainstorms. Great masters of this power can create a small-scale hurricane, and when they work as unit they can create a large-scale one. These cats come in all different sizes, though they tend to be either gray, white, or blue with blue or gray eyes.
- Color: Cats with the power of Color can change their appearance to match their surroundings perfectly, practically turning invisible. This power takes longer than others to perfect, seeing as it takes patience, concentration, and discipline. Cats can only change the color of their fur and eyes, never the length or their body size. Cats have tried, and the results have been disastrous for them. This is a good power to have, and these cats normally scout ahead in battles, or are the best hunters in the Clan, rivaled by cats with power over air due to how quick they are. Cats with this power come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.
- Umbra: This is the newest of the powers, only recently discovered by HollyClan in the last generation or so, and it is believed to be a mutation of the Nox power. Cats with the power of Umbra can apparently warp shadows around themselves to stay hidden and out of sight, masking their scent. These cats tend to be muscular and scary looking, and darkly colored by either being black or dark gray with dark eyes as well.
- Lux: Cats with the power of Lux have a slight control over the temperature and the sun. They can move the sun slowly across the sky if they work hard enough, but never enough to drastically change anything. They can direct the suns rays easily though, using it to temporarily blind prey or enemies in battle. They can also raise the temperature by a few degrees. These cats tend to be lighter in color and come in all shapes and sizes.
- Nox: Cats with the power of Nox are similar to cats with the power of Lux, except they can help control the moon, not the sun. Like cats with the power of Lux, they can control the moon's movement, temperature, and moonbeams. Instead of raising the temperature though, they can lower it. Controlling the moon is also harder, seeing as it is always changing its own appearance and is a major part of the tides. These cats tend to be close with cats with the power of Aqua, and can come in all sizes, though they tend to be darkly colored in black, grays, the occasional white, and dark browns.
- Mentis: Cats with the power of Mentis can read others thoughts and speak within their minds. This is a rare power, and it is forbidden to read fellow Clanmates thoughts, but it is used as a battle strategy in times of war. Masters of this power can control other cats, but that is against HollyClan's law and is punishable by banishment, and, in extreme cases, death. Cats of this power come in all sizes and coloration.
MARKINGS All powers come with a specific marking that marks the cat for which power they have. Markings can come in all colors and can be placed anywhere on a cat's body, including paw pads. However, all markings are always naturally colored. Markings appear when a kit it around two moons old, and this determines the path a cat will take, whether they are destined to be a medicine cat or warrior. (Ignore the colored symbols--I'm still trying to figure out if I can change them to be black. For right now, they're staying like this. :/)

AVAILABILITYMany powers have limits on how many cats can have them, and only the four basic element-based powers are unlimited. These are based on a first-come-first-serve basis, and I will NOT make any exceptions to this. These numbers are based on how powerful a power is.

ACTIVITY I came up with a series of activity levels, just to help me out with clearing out inactive members. This is just here to help me, pay it no mind unless your name is in black! Creator: Person who created the role-play, which would be me (Flo)! Follow the rules and we shouldn't have a problem! Admin: If the moderators are having a problem enforcing the rules, admins normally step in and tell the offender to leave the Clan. Generally, they help make new rules if we're in need. They are active and trusted members, and are in charge. Moderator: Enforce the rules. They are in charge of the role-play when an admin is not here. Active Members: Extremely active members of the role-play. Members: Fairly active members of the role-play. New Members: The newest members to the role-play. This position is generally held for a few days until I deem them able to become a member. Inactive: These members are inactive, and will not be given a warning to come back. In my opinion, if you truly cared about this Clan, it would be saved in your bookmarks or participated and you would post often enough to make me think you as active.

ALLEGIANCES leader Calicostar || 39 Moons || She-Cat || Color || 8 Lives Left Calicostar is a pretty she-cat with a slim body build and silky-looking fur that's just a tad longer than normal. It's not too long however; more or less medium in length. Her fur holds a calico pattern to it, with more ginger than black. In the ginger patches, faint tabby stripes can be seen as well. She has bright amber eyes. Calicostar is a very friendly cat who gets along with most everyone she meets. She’s very sweet and would never intentionally hurt someone mentally. I say mentally because if you hurt her or someone she cares about (the number is surprisingly low), she will attack physically, whether it was a mean word or a scratch. She doesn't take kindly to others being mean and lets them know. That being said, she's a very confident cat, and is somewhat vain as well. She likes keeping her coat kept and shiny and will stop mid-sentence to fix a hair if it's standing up and then carry on like she didn't stop. She's very lonely though, and that's why she's so friendly; she just wants a few friends to keep her company. Calicostar's mark is silver and located on the back of her left ear.
deputy Weedmark || 97 Moons || Tom || Ignis Weedmark possesses thick and perpetually ruffled fur that is ginger in color. Faint tabby stripes can be seen throughout his coat, especially on his tail where they become darker and more noticeable. His muzzle is gray from age and some of his whiskers are singed from an accident when he was younger. He has bright green eyes. Weedmark is quiet and observant, preferring to watch than participate. Cats often mistake this trait for being clueless, but he’s quite knowledgeable. Through this, he has learned how to act around certain cats to get them to understand what he’s saying and how to train apprentices through the methods that they learn best through. He’s also amassed a large amount of wisdom that he willingly shares to those who ask or need it most. However, he tends to be very evasive when answering questions, making those asking to be very specific and direct. Weedmark's mark is black and located by the base of his tail.
medicine cat Oakleaf || 30 Moons || She-Cat || Sane Oakleaf resembles a classic tabby with thick, dark stripes that curve around her fur. Her main color is a deep brown (hence the prefix oak) and there is a spot of dark fur on her side that resembles a leaf (hence the suffix leaf). She has medium length fur and an almost perfectly round face. Her build is average, as the life of a medicine cat never required her to be as fit as the warriors--if she were in a room full of cats it would be easy to overlook her. She has yellow eyes. Oakleaf didn't especially want to be a medicine cat, but her fate was sealed when her star grew in. During her apprenticeship, she secretly wanted to go on patrols and spar with the other cats her age, so in an attempt to convince herself that she loved being a medicine cat, she fully dedicated herself to her own training and sharpening her power. As a result, she is hardworking and focused, but she can sometimes be too obsessed with her work. Sometimes she'll launch herself into dangerous situations because "their injury is so bad they need a medicine cat NOW" but secretly she's hoping she'll be forced to defend herself so she can experience what her dream job would have been like. She has a repressed fighter's spirit that comes out sometimes when cats continually ignore her orders to be careful with their injuries. Oakleaf's marking is white and located on her chest.
medicine cat apprentice Furzepaw || 11 Moons || Tom || Sane Furzepaw is a long legged tom with fluffy pale silver fur with darker marbled tabby markings all over his pelt, along with darker ears and a patch of dark grey on the bridge of his nose. He has a scar that is the shape of an x between his eyes He has white toes, a white tail tip, and a white under belly as well. He has dark green eyes. Furzepaw is a bit of an odd sort, incredibly friendly and always ready to help his friends, but a bit unsympathetic when it comes to his work. He takes his role as medicine cat apprentice seriously, despite his dreams of becoming a warrior, he believes he can help HollyClan the best serving as a healer. He is deaf, but his power allows him to understand others, although he can't exactly read minds whenever he wants, considering the rules in the clan about that, he just sometimes bends the rules a little bit so he can figure out what is going on. Rules are meant for breaking, right? He is completely alright with breaking the rules if it is to better the clan as a whole, and honestly thinks that some rules are a bit outdated, though he won't ever really tell anyone that. He hasn't much of a speech filter, even calling out the leader if he thinks something is unfair. His marking is white and located on the back of his left ear.
warriors Dawnwarbler || 27 Moons || She-Cat || Ignis She a short-furred she-cat with jet black fur. Her build is more on the lean side with long legs and a long tail. Speed and agility is what makes this she-cat up. She has amber eyes. Though she and her twin are both mischievous and sly, Dawnwarbler is the more lively and energetic one. Ever since she was a kit, it was obvious that she would be a vigorous cat. She always on the move and never seems to stop; although in hindsight, it isn't necessarily a good thing. She has a bit of trouble calming herself when she gets in these high energy spikes. It doesn't happen too often, fortunately, but if it were to arise then luckily Duskraven would be able to settle her down. Besides being the spunky energetic she is, Dawnwarbler is notorious for her clever and creative thinking... along with getting in trouble. Being one for adventure, she and her brother are always up for something risky. Dawnwarbler's mark is gray and located on her left shoulder.
Duskraven || 27 Moons || Tom || Ignis He is a black tom with amber eyes. His build is more on the lean side with long legs and a long tail. Speed and agility is what makes this tom up. He has amber eyes. Though he and his twin are both mischievous and sly, Duskraven is the more laid back one. That being in a sense he isn't a chatterbox who speaks with no ends meet. Though this cat, he certainly know what to say. He knows how to use his words rather than his claws, and oh he is certainly the charmer. Definitely one to compliment any she-cat. While to most he seems to be just flirtatious, to him it just shows his respect for she-cats. With Duskraven's words and mischievous behavior, he seems to spell out trouble more than his sister. With these two together, however, there is the definition of trouble there. Two siblings with a strong bond and a strong sense for doing something daring. Duskraven's mark is gray and located on his right shoulder.
Swiftfoot || 26 Moons || Tom || Aer Swiftfoot is a small, wiry tom with all white fur except for the black marking around his eye. He short, pointed ears and a naturally friendly face that lends to his good-natured atmosphere. His tail is long, which is good because it helps him balance as he's always showing off how well he can climb. He has blue eyes. Swiftfoot is easy to get along with and likes to have a wide circle of friends. He makes a lot of jokes, and he mysteriously seems to vanish whenever there's anything "heavy" going on. No one can recall seeing him lose his temper, although he has been known to kick people if they refuse to leave his favorite basking spot--but even then he seems to be only half-serious. He's a showoff and enjoys making the trees "sing" by blowing wind through their leaves almost as much as he enjoys rustling bushes to trick his fellow warriors into thinking there's prey nearby. When he's alone, he tries to master the ability to walk on air, but he always ends up landing on his face and would be incredibly embarrassed to be caught in the act. Deep down, he's insecure and fears confrontation, so he tries to tries to brush everything off with a joke. Swiftfoot's marking is black and located around his left eye.
Crowfang || 23 Moons || Tom || Tempestas Crowfang is a tall and lean tom, built more for running and hunting than fighting. His fur, a dark, stormy gray in color, isn’t short, yet isn’t quite long either. It’s caught somewhere in the middle and feels as silky as it looks. His tail is especially plumy. He never quite grew into his paws, as they are a tad too large for his body, making him clumsy at times. His eyes are wide and placed close together and are a very, very pale blue, almost appearing white in certain lights. Closer to his pupil, there are slightly darker and very, very small streaks of blue. Crowfang is ridiculously stubborn. Once he has his mind made up, it is nearly impossible to change it. That isn’t to say he’s mean or rude, he’s actually very nice and ever the social butterfly, he’s just strong-willed. Along with his stubborn streak is an odd sense of patience. While teaching (or being taught), he is actually very patient, giving attention to every detail and taking his time as needed. Doing other menial tasks, such as waiting to go out on patrols, however, he dislikes dawdling. He gets irritable when waiting on others, especially if they’re running late. He loathes being behind schedule. When the missing party will finally show up, he’ll often be found giving them a lecture on punctuality and its importance. It’s a rare view into his normally carefully checked temper. Crowfang's mark is pale pink and located on his back left paw pad.
Poppyheart || 21 Moons || She-Cat || Herba She is a petite but elegant she-cat, able to be nimble on her feet; it does her well while hunting. Her fur is on the longer side and is a light chocolate brown, with various dark freckles splashing her pelt. She has pale, wondrous green eyes that always seem to be shrouded with an outlandish gleam. Poppyheart could be described as an imaginative, whimsical sort of she-cat. She is prone to having her head in the clouds most of the time, which may be frustrating to those who seek to have her full attention. Despite her young age, and her eccentric personality, she offers a surprising amount of wise advise to those in need, and may come off as being much more sophisticated than she appears. When she is not occupied in her own little world, she concerns herself with her peers, and is sensitive to others' needs. She often sacrifices much of her time and energy into helping anyone with their problems; this, and her inability of rejecting her Clanmates in fear of hurting their feelings, leaves her kindness with the possibility of being taken advantage of time and time again. Having a mature outlook on life, Poppyheart aims to utilize and develop her powers as much as possible, and is fiercely determined to serve HollyClan with everything that she has. Poppyheart's mark is white and located on her underbelly.
Mockingsong || 20 Moons || She-Cat || Aqua Mockingsong is a long furred she cat that is soft to the touch. She has dark tabby like markings on her fur that slowly grow lighter until they turn silver, the primary color of her coat. She has a white chest and a white muzzle, along with a primarily dark grey plumy tail. She has tufts of fur that shoot out from her ears and from the tip of her ears as well. She has pale green eyes. Mockingsong is a bit of a fireball. She is always ready to help her clanmates, of course, but she has the tendency to call others out when she feels they are being fox-hearts. She is loving towards her family and friends, but is wary with outsiders. When she doesn't know the other cat she can come off as snarky and rude, but thats just her prickly exterior. Once you get to know her she can be a real sweetheart. Mockingsong's marking is black and located on her chest.
apprentices Flurrypaw || 11 Moons || She-Cat || Tempestas Flurrypaw is an almost carbon copy of her brother- she is a fluffy, long legged she cat with a pale silver coat with darker marbled tabby markings, markings that turn into solid strips on her legs and tail. She has a white chest, muzzle, and toes, along with a darker coloration on the bridge of her nose and and "m" shape on her forehead, one of the few differences between she and her brother. Her fur is thick and kit like, something that will never go away, even when she is older. She has pale green eyes. Flurrypaw is an incredibly energetic she cat- no one knows where the energy comes from, its just there. She has an inquisitive mind, her motto being act first, ask questions later, her thirst for knowledge getting her into more trouble than its worth usually. Eventually this will die down, but even now, as she prepares to become a full fledged warrior of the clan, her curiosity gets the best of her. She is incredibly loyal to her friends, less to her clan as a whole, but would do anything for any of her clanmates, seeing them as family since they practically raised her and Furzepaw after their parents died. She is an open book, the opposite of her brother. Flurrypaw's marking is white and located around her left eye.
Bramblepaw || 9 Moons || Tom || Umbra He is very large for his age, enough to say that he is excessive in size. Lean, but muscular, he is well-built for fighting. He has a sleek, dark gray pelt with swirls of black markings ticking his fur. His dark blue eyes hold a deeper sense of docility that isn't reflected in his intimidating figure. Many would believe Bramblepaw as an ambitious, condescending type of tom he appears to be. In reality, he is extremely insecure about himself and his own abilities. Among his Clanmates he is timid, terribly so, but yearns to form a friendship with anyone who is willing to approach him; he may be unaware that his quiet, yet threatening aura may scare some off from speaking to him. He often feels perturbed towards his power, fearing that one day he will use it incorrectly and never again appear visible to his Clan; of course, while this seems far fetched, it puts much anxiety on his mind. Although he has a complicated view of himself, Bramblepaw knows one thing for sure: he wishes to become a great warrior one day, one who could be acknowledged and respected by HollyClan. Bramblepaw's mark is black and located on his chest.
Falconpaw || 7 Moons || Tom || Terra Falconpaw is a muscular brown spotted tabby tom that blends in well with his surroundings. As far as his coat goes, he’s a rather plain looking cat with nothing special signaling him out of the crowd other than his tail, which is just fluffier than the rest of his short fur. His eyes are plain as well, being amber in color. Only with a closer look are the golden flecks near his pupil visible. Falconpaw is a rather closed-off tom. He doesn’t easily trust those around him, really only opening up to them if he has known them for a while. When he does open up to others, they’ll find an inquisitive and easily amused tom that will be loyal to then end, or until they give him a reason not to be. Seeing as he prefers his own company to others, he’s a bit of a loner within the Clan. It’s not that he doesn’t enjoy other’s company (he does in certain increments) he just has a low tolerance for overall ridiculous behavior. Falconpaw is also a firm believer in survival of the fittest. He sees no point in helping others if they’re hurt; in his opinion, if they were stronger, they would never have gotten hurt in the first place. It’s one of his least desirable qualities, but he’ll put his beliefs aside if the cat in question is someone he holds close to his heart. Needless to say, him acting as such is a rare occurrence. Falconpaw's mark is black and located under his right eye.

elders Cloudygaze || 87 Moons || Tom || Aqua || Retired Early due to Failing Sight || Originally Named Skyrunner This gray tabby tom is a rather odd cat in appearance with lynx-like tufts on the tips of his ears and a bushy tail along. His build is more lanky than sturdy, not having very much power. Considering his age now, it would be surprising he's growing frail. His eyes are blue, but they have a cloudy appearance to them. Not too long ago he began losing his sight, everything becoming a blur. Seeing he couldn't continue with his duties as a warrior he decided to retire to the elder's den early. His original name was Skyrunner, but he decided to have on the name Cloudygaze to signify his disability. With his vision failing fast, he knows it won't be long before he's completely blind. Cloudygaze is a humble and soft-spoken cat. He's the cat you'd want to go to if you want to rant about all your problems and feelings. Being an excellent listener with a whole lot of patience, he's earned some respect by a few in the Clan. Behind calm demeanor is a broken heart. He lost his mate a while back when she attempted to climb to the Rocky Canyons. Though hearing others talking about relationships and seeing families grow makes him happy, there is still the heavy feeling that echoes in him and makes him feel down for a while. Cloudygaze's mark is white and located on the right side of his neck.
starclan Hollystar || Died at 103 Moons || She-Cat || Herba || Died from Sickness || Originally Named Holly Hollystar is a small, dark ginger she-cat with spiky fur. Her paws are creamy in color along with her tail-tip. She has dark, forest green eyes lined in a very pale green, much like that of a holly leaf, giving her name. Hollystar has a short temper and attention span. She is rather ditsy at times, tripping over her own paws all the time. She loves to laugh, but is easily offended at times. Touchy as she is, many adore her for her bravery, and, at times, her humility. Not afraid to say she had made a mistake, she was also made fun of a lot as a kit. She ignored her tormentors, thinking that they only bullied her because she was different than they were. She is, at times, prickly and difficult. Hollystar's mark is cream and located on the right side of her muzzle.
dark forest This will be filled as cats die throughout the role-play.
cats outside of the clan Lichen || 32 Moons || She-Cat || Powerless For a she-cat, she has a surprisingly strong build with strong hind legs that make her an excellent leaper. She has long, pale white fur that givers her an overall larger appearance. At a first glance she seems startling, but looking into her eyes proves otherwise; they radiate an aura of calmness. Looking at her again however, there is a long scar that runs from her right shoulder and all the way down her back. She has dark green eyes. After having barely survived a fox attack that wiped out her family, Lichen fell to a state of silence. Haven't having encounter too many cats in her travels, she eventually convinced even herself that she was a mute. She had been so accustomed to the actions someone with no voice would take that she fell to it. Getting to know her a bit better and past her timid shell, she is a kind and gentle soul. She had only gone through something traumatic that caused her to shy away.

Sorry I'm so poofy. >.<
We can rp if you'd like! In my experience, this Clan takes a few days to really amass members, so as long as we can keep it bumped up near the top, people should start joining. If my form didn't scare them away; it can be a lot...

[[ Don't worry, I end up being poofy a lot. cx
Yeah, it kinda does take a bit. Nah, you're form isn't that much. I just had a bit of trouble with it at first because everything had it's own section section and I was just used to putting appearance, personality and such into own form and these were descriptions I had already typed up from old Clans haha But you're setup is fine. It's organized, and it's not really asking for too much~
I'm up for some roleplaying then. Would you like to start or should I? ]]

I've tried doing a paragraph-type form but found that not everyone would add the things I was looking for all the time. I figured it would be better if I was more specific. ^^'
I'm perfectly okay either way! Before we being though, is there a specific character I have that you'd prefer to rp with?

[[ Good point. At least you'll get what you're looking for~ cx Hmm, I don't have a preference of which character you use, but do you think you could start first? I have to head off somewhere soon so I'd be able to reply when I got back. ]]

> The sound of faint whispers woke Poppyheart with a start. The grass was shifting, she noted, imagining the plain taste of dew on her tongue as she yawned. The ghostly whooshes of wind rang in her ears, and she practically shivered as if she was right among the grassblades. "It's morning." She concluded, blinking slowly as her blurred gaze cleared. She didn't notice if there were any other cats in the room, but thoughts of the day's possibilities were already running through her mind. "Eat. Then hunting? Most likely. Calicostar will tell us." Poppyheart murmured halfheartedly. Getting up to her feet, she stretched before she left her room, then took her time exiting the hallway and den. For a second she wondered if anyone else was awake, but she paid no other mind to it as she made her way to the middle of the seemingly empty camp, her destination being the fresh-kill pile.
> There was only two things that made Bramblepaw feel secure: being noticed and sleeping. The latter, he thought, was his preference. But even in a deep sleep was he uneasy, as quiet whines escaped from the back of his throat, his legs giving the occasional twitch that would lead one to believe that he was having a bad dream. Yet his expression remained peaceful, calm even. He wouldn't have known if he was making a ruckus or not.

» Dawnwarbler & Duskraven - -
Both the Ignis twins were awake; although, one seemed to be more awake than the other. Dawnwarbler was sitting in her nest and grooming herself contently. Duskraven on the other hand was still laying in his nest looking a bit cross, trying to see if it was worth getting up yet. The tom's black ears twitched slightly hearing the sounds of warriors stirring. "Morning already?" He muttered a bit grumpily, still not feeling properly awake. His sister didn't seem to appreciate the comment as she gave him a little shove. "Duskraven, hush." She scoffed, though there was a hint of amusement lingering in her tone. The tom caught this and cracked a small smile. He then settled himself down back in his nest and closed his eyes. A few minutes wouldn't hurt, would it? Dawnwarbler stared at her sibling for a moment and when he dozed off again she rolled her eyes and smiled. The black she-cat gave her chest a few quick licks before rising to her paws and quietly slipping out of the room and padding through the tunnel to the exit.
» Dawnwarbler & Poppyheart - -
The black she-cat emerged from the bush of the warrior's den into the sunlight. Her amber eyes narrowed slightly as the adjusted to the bright light. Dawnwarbler looked around the camp briefly and noticed the Herba warrior Poppyheart making her way to the fresh-kill pile. She gave a grin, seeing the opportunity to strike a friendly conversation. she briskly padded over to the she-cat. "Morning Poppyheart!" She greeted the warrior enthusiastically as she padded beside her. "How've you been? I feel like it's been forever since we've talked." Dawnwarbler questioned the warrior. In the back of her mind, she hoped she wasn't pestering her too early. Hopefully not.

{ @/falle, Cool beans~ and thank you! ❤ @/feather, it's okay, Christmas takes a while to prepare for! }
> It was only until she felt another pelt bump against her own when Poppyheart realized she wasn't alone. It took her a moment to respond, or even acknowledge her new companion besides her. "...Good morning, Dawnwarbler. I'm doing just fine." She managed, her clouded gaze lingering on the other she-cat, as if pondering her presence. "Time does happen to fail us, doesn't it? It's the most unreliable resource we have," She mused, "Such a peculiar gift." Once they arrived at the fresh-kill pile, Poppyheart observed the collection of prey, ultimately deciding on a small mouse to feed herself. "Do you wonder if other animals behave just as we do? With their own civilization, their own Clans? Perhaps we are their biggest threat, just as foxes and dogs are to us." To anyone else, she could have simply been blabbering nonsense for no particular reason; however, these were the kinds of thoughts that were always being contemplated in her mind. As she picked up the limp body of her mouse, she didn't seem to invite Dawnwarbler to sit with her, but she did occasionally look back at the other she-cat, wondering if she would still be interested in speaking with her.

» Dawnwarbler & Poppyheart - -
The she-cat's head tilted thoughtfully as she listened to the warrior's musing. Dawnwarbler pondered her question for a moment. She didn't mind that Poppyheart jumped into such psychological thoughts. In fact, she much appreciated it. She loved talking about odd things like this that might seem nonsense to others. She snapped back to reality, having been lost in her thoughts and noticed the she-cat move somewhere else. By the way she looked back at her, Dawnwarbler assumed she was inviting her to sit with her. The black she-cat gave a grin and padded over to Poppyheart, then sat down beside her. She cleared her throat and gave her answer. "To answer your question my good friend, possibly. I mean, I'm sure their civilizations aren't as complex as ours. Though, that is something interesting to think about. We're so focused on how we work, that no one really looks at how everything else works." Dawnwarbler's head tiled curiously and her amber eyes flickered with much intrigue. "Huh, that's certainly something different to think about." She commented aloud, partly to herself and partly to the warrior sitting next to her.

((Hello! I just joined so I'm gonna fling one of my cats into the mix here if that's cool))
- - Swiftfoot
Swiftfoot had been awake since before the crack of dawn and was enjoying testing his aer abilities by stepping out onto thin branches and trying to stay light enough to avoid snapping it by supporting himself with wind. He was wobbling over a particularly narrow branch when he overheard Poppyheart and Dawnwarbler below. His ears perked up and, after listening for a moment, he decided to join in. "I'll tell you what animal has civilizations like ours!" he called. He tried to make a graceful leap off of his branch and land noiselessly on the ground beside them, but when he jumped the branch snapped loudly under his feet and his landing was more of a thud--but he shook it off with as much dignity as he could. "Ravens," he said. "I follow them sometimes. They avoid places where one of their own has been hurt, which means they talk to each other. And I've seen them using twigs to fish bugs out of logs. They're almost as smart as us." He waved his tail and smiled, proud of his answer and not quite understanding that the question had been more philosophical and not literal.
