Any further contemplation was put aside. The black she-cat's ears perked, hearing someone call to them from above. Her amber eyes flickered up to see Swiftfoot perched on a branch. Dawnwarbler watched the Aer cat land non-too gracefully down in front of them, wincing a bit as she heard and saw the branch snap under him. When he hit the ground however, she couldn't help but give a little smirk in amusement. She gave a chuckle and greeted the tom. "Hey there Swiftfoot." Her ears perked up in interest hearing what he had to say. Her head nodded slowly, gathering in the newly-brought information. "Ravens, eh?" she mused. "I never knew that. The more you know, mm?" The Ignis cat gave a wide grin at this.

[[ Happy Holidays guys! Sorry I haven't been on lately, things just have been busy around here. Also, I'm working a lot this week so I won't be able to come on much. I'm not working Wednesday or Thursday so hopefully I should get some roleplaying in~ ;D ]]

It seemed as if Poppyheart was reacting in slow-motion. She hadn't truly noticed whenever Swiftfoot had made his appearance, although she did happen to hear his...graceful landing. Still, it wasn't enough to snap her out of her thoughts. That is, until he provided an answer to her pondering. "Ravens." She murmured to herself, after swallowing her mouthful of food. "Ravens, ravens, ravens. Lovely creatures, really. Do you suppose they know of us? Do any sort of creatures know of our very existence? We know of so many...yet, they seem not to know of us." As she rambled, she tucked her paws under her chest, while her tail flicked from side to side. She made no effort into eating, nor to continue the conversation. Poppyheart simply sat, frozen in place, her eyes fixated to the distance. "Ravens..."

The black she-cat tilted her head thoughtfully as she pondered Poppyheart's musings. That was quite the interesting thought. Were there other creatures who thought of them the same way they thought about them? Dawnwarbler contemplated the idea for a moment before answer. "Others must have some idea of our existence—probably not as in much detail as we do—or they wouldn't act they way they do when we're around. I mean think about it, prey would just simply ignore us if they didn't acknowledge our existence. So in some ways, they do..." The warrior trailed off noticing that the she-cat was lost in her own thoughts. She gave a chuckle and turned her attention to the tom. "Get what I mean Swiftfoot?" She asked, her amber gaze sparking with curiosity. She wondered if he was even listening to their ramblings.

JESUS, I am so sorry for my unannounced hiatus guys! I ended up transferring schools and subsequently moving and things have been hectic since.
If any of y'all are still interested in this Clan, please post here again so I can see if I should keep this place open or not.

Are there any powers that gives the cat extra speed? Hello! There aren't any technically. I focused more on elemental powers. I think you might get away with extra speed by having Aer powers, but I'd double check over the powers list. |

Hi! Sorry I was gone for so long; I had to restart my laptop for updates.
So Furzepaw's mentor is Oakleaf (obviously, since she's the medicine cat), and Flurrypaw's is Crowfang, which is my character! And also the only warrior with the same power as her. ^^'

Sorry if this is sub-par; it's been a few years since I've role-played as one of my fursonas. ^^' That being said, my posts will be shorter than I normally have them until I get into it again. Also, I'm assuming you want to role-play with Crowfang and Flurrypaw? If not, I can totally change characters, no problem. I also have Calicostar, Falconpaw, and Weedfoot.
Crowfang was currently curled up in his nest in the warriors' den, staring at the entrance and knowing he should get up and be a productive member of the Clan, but he was still tired from the moonhigh patrol he volunteered for.
He laid there for a few more minutes before standing up and stretching, letting lose a small squeak as he yawned before padding out of the den, pausing at the entrance and blinking as his eyes adjusted to the brighter outside light. He could always move the clouds to cover the sun better, but he knew better than to abuse his powers like that. The last thing he needed was a Herba cat yowling at him for denying their plants the sunlight they needed.
Once he was fully adjusted to the sunlight, he padded towards the middle of camp, wondering where Flurrypaw was and if she felt like going to Salty Cove for some training. |
