Featherdawn looked around for a cat to come hunting with her. She wanted to have someone with her in case a she came across a fox or a badger. Scanning the camp, she tried to see who was busy and who was available. "Everyone seems busy." She murmured to herself.

Emeraldsky came out of the warriors den, he stretched and yawned. Just haven taken a nap he was energized from last night's guard duty, He scanned the camp. He glanced at the fresh kill pile but he wasn't hungry, he then spotted Featherdawn just sitting next to the entrance.
Padding towards her, he smiled as he neared and mewed. "Hey Featherdawn! What's up." He sat down beside her but not touching, his tail flicking back and forth slightly.

Featherdawn turned her head to look at Emeraldsky. "Oh hello Emeraldsky. Not much with me just trying to see if anyone wants to come hunting with me." She briefly wondered if he would like to come with her.

His ears perked, "I can go with you." He smiled, an shuffled his paws, which were getting antsy to do something. He wanted to do something for the clan before he ate.

Lightningsong decided to take his time walking through the forest and took in all the scents around him. He nearly stepped on a mouse but managed to dispatch it and fell over. He got up shook himself off and buried the mouse.

Falconfeather scented a another clan cat nearby. Quickly, she licked her wounds clean before they got any closer. They weren't very deep. Hopefully, they weren't too noticeable.

Lightningsong lifted his head and saw falconfeather. Hopefully she hadn't seen his fall. "How are you?" he whisper called.

"Yes. Yes, I'm out hunting." It wasn't untrue, she came out here to hunt and did end up catching a mouse. She just didn't keep it.
(I really just miss band. We're going for sweepstakes two years in a row. That would be the first time in my band's history to ever get it. I'm so excited, and my lips hurt so bad from all the practicing!)

Lightningsong looked at Falconfeather she was acting weird. He shrugged it off. (I've got not clue what happened to Falconfeather I guess I missed that lol) "Okay then let's get back to hunting.

Falconfeather realized Lightningsong had found something. She scented the air and realized it was a mouse. Letting Lightningsong catch it, she turned around scenting the air for more prey.

Lightningsong caught the mouse. He decided to pspread out a little after that so they could cover more area of prey

Falconfeather spotted a squirrel at the foot of one of the trees. Quietly, she crouched down and edged forward. Then she pounced, landing on the squirrel and killing it with a bite to the neck.

Falconfeather quickly caught the rabbit and delivered the killing bite. It was a pretty good sized rabbit and was heavy as it hung limply in jaws. Altogether they had caught a mouse, a squirrel, and now a large rabbit. She dragged it over to her squirrel and sat it down.
"Should we hunt some more or is this enough?" She asked Lightningsong. She wanted to go back to camp and lick her wounds.

Lightningsong looked at the pile. "I think we should be good. I have another couple mice along the way. This is a pretty good haul." Lightningsong picked up some of the prey and headed to where the other mice were buried.

Falconfeather did the same and began heading back to camp. Her shoulder started to hurt again and she hoped the walk back to camp didn't take too long.

Lightningsong made it back to camp and set all of the prey on the pile. He walked away from it and sat down looking around
