Re: Morningpaw;; Don't you have anything better to do then to mess with me?" He grumbled silently, glancing awkwardly up at the younger apprentice. And everyone wonders why I don't talk much. Well now take a guess! ☀️;; Reedpaw rolled over in the sand and grass, her fur fluffed up not from aggression, but from surprise. She knew Morningpaw was an odd character, but she still tried to interact with him regardless. "Mm, no, not really." She replied simply, sitting down a few paces away, her tail swishing back and fourth. "I don't like to think of it as messing, I think of it more as playing-!" She stuck her tongue out and smirked. So there was someone there! Pebbleskip's heart caught in her throat as she raised her head, puffing up her chest a bit. "I could ask you the same question!" She called, glancing around. "My name is Pebbleskip of Sunclan. Finishing up a border run, no need for hostilities; I'm not here to cause trouble." While she wasn't required to tell him the truth, she had no reason to lie.For a moment, she hesitated, wondering if she could get a better look around. She quickly dug her claws into the tree trunk and made her way up it a few fox lengths. Eventually, she caught sight of the other cat. He didn't quite look warrior-age yet, so she assumed he was an apprentice. But what was he doing out here by himself? Surely Briarstar didn't let her cats wander off on their own this far away from their camp? Maybe he snuck off..."A 'paw all the way out here by his lonesome? You sure are bold, stranger." She chuckled a bit as she perched herself on a tree limb, watching curiously.--- 🌙;; Briarstar gave a nod of satisfaction. "I'm glad to hear that." Her attention drifted to the trees that overhung them high above. Some might swear they graze the sky itself. The she-cat gave a small sigh.
"The leaves will begin falling soon, I'm sure. I worry about a repeat of whitecough or greencough that swept through the clan last leafbare." She admitted. "I know you're a very capable apprentice, but I worry about it being so overwhelming..." Though often reserved, it was evident Briarstar was concerned about her clanmates.
-----------------
{{ okay so I kinda had a wild idea for somethin to add to the plot, but I wanna know what you guys think. }} {{ what I was considering was maybe before fall really hits, a huge storm blows through and heavily divides the two territories. This could either be via flood, isolating the clans from each other, or maybe it knocks over a bunch of dead trees and debris, etc. Either way the clans are separated and perhaps there's maybe an eclipse idk is that too cliche omg- }} {{ Anyway though I feel this could be interesting bECAUSE maybe some of the cats are opposed to leaving, like 'no we can't leave, this has been our home for generations, we have to find a way to make this work,' and it causes a lot of tension?? and maybe there's a prophecy where a few cats are chosen to lead the others to a new home, kind of akin to that arc in WC but maybe not exact we'll have to see }} {{ I also (hate to say it but) kind of want this event to cause the death of either Briarstar or Emberstar because I would like to have someone take over as a leader-figure but before we do that we need someone to fill the deputy position so I'm holding off on anything crazy till I think of a good prophecy and that happens :> }} {{ Sorry for the wall of text but just wanted to hear your ideas/opinions! }}

Morningpaw huffed in annoyance. Laying back down on his haunches and try his hardest to concentrate on his surroundings again. All until Reedpaw spoke again. The older apprentice sighed and decided that it’d be best if he would just talk to her. Knowing she wouldn’t give up until he gave in. “So what are your plans today Reedpaw?” He asked as if he was being forced to converse with her. Which I might as well be. But why him? Why now? It was all the time he would get to meditate today! But I guess not. I suppose I should get started on collecting herbs.He decided silently looking over at the bubbly she-cat in front of him. What was he going to do with her? Tell her to help you. A voice whispered softly into his ear. It sounded mouse-brained, but it was kind of smart. Despite how talkative she would be, he could also get a load off of his own paws. /strong] (That sounds great! But within the plot, do you think cat’s could get lost/swept away with the storm.)

Creampaw followed Briarstar's gaze, lifting her head to the trees. Her icy eyes slid over the tops of the trees, imagining the fast-approaching season of bitter cold. She shuddered slightly at the thought of another breakout. Her eyes remained focused on the trees while she breathed in the gentle air, calming herself before turning to her leader. Creampaw twisted her head to face Briarstar, looking at her softly, with a gentle anticipation in her blue eyes. She gazed intently on her leader, observing her expression and the concern in her eyes. The apprentice rested her bushy tail beside her, inbetween the two cats in a gentle motion.
"It is a fearful time approaching...." Creampaw began, pausing briefly to construct her words, "But no matter the overwhelming, it is a duty I accept to do all I can for this Clan. Do not fret for what is uncertain and yet to come." The young she-cat finished, continuing to gaze upon her leader. She then twisted to glance back at the Medicine Cat Den before turning back to Briarstar. "In fact, I'll see if I can try to restock now." Creampaw suggested softly.
( That sounds like a really fun idea! I love the build up of the event and the prophesy. And Silverheart's suggestion, that would be exciting )

((That plot idea sounds exciting! I'm especially interested to see how the cats would react to the events, especially with both clans disconnected and both having no idea if the other is planning on leaving or not.))
Badgerpaw relaxed a bit at hearing the other cat wasn't looking to fight; despite his bold declaration, he wasn't too happy about the idea of taking on an unnamed threat on his own- well, previously unnamed. Following the sound of Pebbleskip's voice, he craned his neck up towards the branches of a nearby tree, but couldn't get a good look at the cat from this angle, only patches of grey fur. But just as soon as he had relaxed, the cat's other comments made him bristle again.
H-hey! he thought indignantly, but truth be told the Sunclan cat was right, he really shouldn't be this close to the border, and he really should be getting back to camp. Not that he would let her know that, of course. Instead, he gave her a cocky smile, replying, "Sure am. I'm Badgerpaw, and I was out hunting for my clan. I may be an apprentice, but don't think I couldn't defend myself, or give as good as I get against any Sunclan cat!"

Honeyflower || Roleplayed by tinyelephant || Moonclan || Warrior(although possibly Queen if toms can be queens?) || Honeyflower is a short-furred cream mackerel tabby with a small amount of white of his throat. He's built fairly average for a tom, not dainty enough to look feminine, but not enough to be outstanding at fighting. From his pale frame, his hazel eyes definitely stand out. || His parents never pushed Honeyflower or his siblings to be the best warriors growing up, and it was clear that Honeyflower had little interest in hunting or fighting the moment he had improved motor skills beyond that of stumbling everywhere. His interest in kits and everything to do with growing up gave the leader notice, and apprenticed him off to a former queen, whose kits were made warriors not too long ago. Honeyflower proved to be fairly average when it came to hunting or fighting, never going above or beyond but was sufficient. His mentor never pressed him about this, and instead encouraged his natural strength--his empathy and caring. He has a natural affinity for comforting cats near his age group or younger, Honeyflower loves you. Really, he does. He doesn't just like his friends, he loves them with an overwhelmingly complete loyalty. He cares maybe a bit too much about everyone and shows a stunning amount of affection for a species who normally only idealize a few cats. Honeyflower certainly has a lot of love to give, but he's also a bit over-excitable. To the point of complete distraction sometimes. Things that might only produce mild excitement in other cats, send this tom into fits of hyperactivity where it's nearly impossible to get him to focus. He celebrates louder than anyone, grieves the hardest, and feels pain and anger far more keenly than he rightly should. He has so much energy and sheer feeling in him, that it is difficult not to feel fond of him even mere seconds after meeting him. He's genuinely glad to see you, whoever you are, and is a force of positive energy. When it comes to fighting or just life in general, Honeyflower is absolutely fearless. He isn't afraid of throwing himself right into the thick of things, nor is he afraid of new and dangerous situations of all kinds. When it comes to lessons and missions of importance, Honeyflower will often be the first to volunteer and his boundless enthusiasm and bravery will be a solid foundation that will support his clanmates. Unfortunately, he needs a dash of realism added to his daily life. He is reckless beyond reason and will need to be reigned in often to keep from meeting an untimely end. || Family: Blueclaw(father)- A short-furred mackerel grey tabby with some white on his neck. Has dull hazel eyes. Redstorm(mother)- orange short-furred mackerel tabby and hazel eyes,carries dilute Rosefoot(brother)- red mackerel tabby tom with a small patch of white on his throat and hazel eyes. Morningpelt(sister)- dilute blue torbie with dull hazel eyes. His parents did not have kits out of love for each other, more because they both wanted kits and thought them having kits together was an easy solution with little hatred involved, as they were both friends consenting to the idea. They were both fairly laid-back as parents, but were there when their kits needed them most. Currently, Honeyflower is 3 years/36 moons old.
**I wouldn't mind him maaaybe being considered for a leadership opportunity at any point in the future, but of course this is not a mandate.
***Would anyone like to play his siblings and/or parents? I have a bit of personality for each of them, and they're all alive and in the same clan. If not, I'll eventually make them myself, perhaps.

What was he going to do with her? Tell her to help you. A voice whispered softly into his ear. It sounded mouse-brained, but it was kind of smart. Despite how talkative she would be, he could also get a load off of his own paws. ☀️;; Tipping her head to the side, Reedpaw tucked her paws underneath her as a breeze came off the lakeside. "Well, I don't know. I know I'm supposed to be training soon but ... nothing quite yet! What are you up to today?" She inquired.
Truly, Reedpaw wasn't quite sure what to make of Morningpaw. He was certainly a bit grumpy, but Reedpaw always secretly assumed maybe he just had a thorn in his paw and needed some cheering up. Even if that wasn't really the case, she just enjoyed any kind of company, despite not realizing most cats thought she was a bit of an annoyance. At least it wasn't intentional.
Pebbleskip gave a smirk as she slid down from the branches, just on her side of the border. Now the two could really get a good look at one another, and Pebbleskip gave a small chuckle. "Better watch yourself there Badgerpaw, some big mighty hunting warrior could toss ya into the lake!" The tall she-cat puffed her fur up, but immediately burst into laughter. "Well, lucky for you, that won't be me."
She gave a swish of her tail and watched him with curious eyes. He didn't seem to be too much younger than her, and after all, she was a newly made warrior still. As she glanced back over her shoulder towards her home, her ears pricked upon hearing a voice calling out for her.
"Well, looks like I'd better be going... You better be careful, 'paw. Don't go gettin' yourself into too much trouble. S'gonna get dark soon." She smirked as she began bounding towards her home eagerly. "Hope to see you at a gathering someday. Ta ta~!"
----
🌙;; Briarstar gave a small nod, glad that she could confide in Creampaw. She certainly was a kind cat, and Briarstar respected her and often treated her as if she were her own at times. Never being able to have kits was one of her many regrets, but she found comfort in the spiritual kin that were her clanmates.
"Are you excited to go to the next gathering? It's not too far away now." She asked, following after her for a moment. She was about to mention something else when she heard the mutterings of two apprentices behind her.
"I told you, he ran off on his own! How was I supposed to know where he went?"
"Should we tell-"
"Tell whom, what?" Briarstar turned, towering over the sibling apprentices. She certainly was intimidating at times...
"Oh, uh- nothing! Nothing really I mean, just um-"
"Badgerpaw separated from us when we were hunting!" The other blurted out.
Briarstar's neck fur stood up on end. Just when she was hoping these three would be ready to leave and hunt without their mentor's supervision, she was proven wrong. And it wasn't the first time. "You two had better come back with him in tow. Take Junipertail with you. Now."
"Y-Yes, Briarstar."
The two hurried off to find one of their mentors, while Briarstar let out a sigh. "Creampaw, am I too ... relaxed as a leader? Giving them these chances all the time?" She asked, hoping her clanmate would be honest with her. "It's so important for them to strike out on their own every now and then, but... I'm starting to think it's not such a good idea anymore. They could get hurt..."
Maybe it's time I revoked that rule... She thought inwardly. But she wasn't sure... She'd have to sleep on it...
---
{{ I'm glad everyone's on board! Alright so to start out maybe little bit by little bit, the cats seem to notice there's a little less prey going around. This could be addressed at the next gathering, but could be chalked up to it just getting closer to leaffall/leafbare. I think after little things start going wrong here and there, I might choose a few cats to receive a prophecy, but the question is, what should it be? Any suggestions? Should it be that a great something is going to split the clans further apart, and they will have to travel across the lake to the mainland and find a new home, which is going to be an incredibly difficult task? Or maybe something else? I'm all ears for suggestions! }}

( Hamilton As for the prophesy, what kind of prophesy? Is it as a guidance to a new home, or a merging of the Clans, or something else? Or completely unknown? )
Creampaw sat quietly while the apprentices spoke with Briarstar, lowering her eyes to the ground but keeping her ears pricked with interest. She kept her opinions from her thoughts of the situation, merely listening for understanding. As Briarstar returned, Creampaw lifted her blue eyes from the ground to look at her leader. She was a bit taken back by the question, which caused her to pause and glance off into the distance in thought. The medicine cat apprentice ended up sitting back down on her haunches before returning her gaze to her leader. There was a softness in the glimmer of her eyes, and she spoke gently.
"Briarstar, you're an incredible leader. No one doubts your ability to lead the way a Clan should be led," Creampaw paused briefly, almost-nervously curling her tail around her paws. "And they're young, they have mistakes to be made. It's not like they won't have a bit of mischief and fun." The she-cat paused again, glancing down at her paws before lifting her eyes back up to Briarstar. She paused not out of fear of being hurtful, as that was not her intention or how she saw her words forming, but because she feared judgement of her honesty. "That being said.. if they make mistakes without consequences, they will continue to make them. We need to understand when we are in the wrong in order to make ourselves right."

But yeah if you have any ideas lemme know. }} Also I'm thinking maybe one of the storms wipes out the 'current' medicine cat, since we don't actually have one for Moonclan yet. Maybe this could move Creampaw's growth along a bit since she'd have to take on that responsibility on such short notice? }}
---
🌙;; A soft sigh escaped Briarstar, but she managed to give off a kind smile towards Creampaw. "You remind me so much of my sister," She actually gave a small laugh, "It's been a long time since I've met a cat as ahead of her age as you." She rested her tail tip on the apprentice's shoulder. "I appreciate your honesty, Creampaw. I'll have to mull over everything till sundown, but until then, I'll keep your words in mind."
She dipped her head as she gave a swish of her tail, standing up and stretching out her legs. "I'm going to see what those apprentices are up to. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening." She began to pad out towards the clearing when she paused. "Maybe if we're lucky, the apprentices will have returned with something." She teased, her ears swiveling before she padded off to see how the rest of her clan was doing...
Briarstar almost never spoke of her family, and it was surprising that she had brought it up at all. Not many of the cats knew about her history. It wasn't something she really spoke about. Though she didn't fear her clanmates would change their opinion of her, she felt that maybe some things like that weren't entirely important. It hadn't shaped her any differently than her clanmates. This was who she was...

{ That's so cool! Hamilton is fantastic, I love how many people here know and love it Ooh, that would be interesting! }
Creampaw returned the smile, looking up to Briarstar almost as a young cat to her mother. With the mentions of a sister, thoughts began to swirl in the mind of the apprentice. I never knew she had a sister... Though she has always seemed more reserved. The young cat paused her thoughts, her ear giving a slight twitch. I have no means to be curious, I know my leader as she is and must respect that.
These thoughts were in and out of her mind quickly, as she continued to listen to her leader. She was deeply touched by the kind comments, and could only pray to StarClan her words of advice were well-chosen. As Briarstar began to pad away, Creampaw rose to her paws but remained where she way. She gave a slight chucke, nearly a soft giggle, before dipping her head and watching her leader walk away from where she stood. The medicine cat apprentice let out a deep breath before turning and heading back towards the Medicine Cat Den to check for low supplies.

🌙;; As Briarstar headed to her den, she was surprised to hear the low rumbling of thunder off in the distance. Her ears pricked as she poked her head back out to look around. Through the trees, the clouds didn't seem to be very thick. If they were lucky, it would just be a quick sprinkle, and it would be over.
"Hey, Creampaw, you in here?" Larkpaw, a fellow apprentice chimed, shaking a few feathers from her whiskers. By the looks of it, she'd just been mowing down on a bird. The milky-eyed apprentice sniffed at the air with a grin, "I may not be able to see you, but I can smell you! Well, I mostly smell tangy herbs, but I can still smell you!" She laughed, pricking her ears to listen for her friend.
"You busy?" Of course, she couldn't have known her friend was busy with things. Larkpaw had a habit of having, well, bad timing.

((Oops I totally have to add a Hamilton quote as well. Also that drawing looks amazing!) ((Maybe as the lack of prey and things keep worsening a group of cats close to Starclan (leaders, med cat/med cat apprentices) would be sent to the Crystal to ask Starclan and be given the prophecy there? Just an idea. Also, not sure if you'd be interested in taking Badgerpaw on the journey to find a new home, but if you were, it could possibly happen right before/after he becomes a warrior, as I'd imagine the disaster that splits the clans apart would be more than enough to keep him from swimming around the lake. Then again, it's going to take a while for him to become a warrior if he keeps sneaking off and causing trouble in the clan like this, haha.))
Badgerpaw's whiskers twitched in amusement as he watched Pebbleskip's retreating form. Though his fur still stood on end from a mix of embarrassment and indignation, the warrior's carefree and nonthreatening attitude prevented him from being confrontational about it. Actually, he was glad they'd parted on good terms, which was a bit unusual for him. Maybe it was outweighed by pride; after all, he'd just had his first encounter with a Sunclan warrior all on his own.
Speaking of, he wondered what the other two apprentices he'd been with were doing. Had they already returned to camp without him, or were they looking for him now? A guilty glace up at the sky made him focus on hunting. If he was going to spend so long out in the woods, he may as well catch something on his way back to camp like he was supposed to.
A few minutes later he'd managed to catch a decent-sized squirrel, but despite being almost halfway back to camp hadn't caught so much as a whiff of prey aside from that. Maybe he was distracted, or just wasn't in the right spot after all. Either way, his earlier pride was tempered by disappointment that he could not catch enough to make up for lost time. Internally he berated his own mouse-brained idea. Well, there was nothing for it now but to get back to camp and hope no one had taken too much of an interest in his disappearance. Picking up his catch in his jaws, he continued padding back towards camp.

Tigerfur || rped by *ShatteringStar* || Moonclan || deputy || A beautiful, tall tabby with pale grey fur and black, shattered-like stripes. Her fur is long and sleek which helps against water and the cold and her tail is a bit longer than most with a white tail-tip. Distinctive tabby marks frame her long face and she carries a large set of intense, deep forest green eyes. || Her personality is usually collective, witty, kind, and it is very evident that she is beyond her years. She is hard working and a skilled hunter who normally prefers the company of one or two, although she is fine with leading large groups. She does have a dark side and most would say that she is border-line on becoming a psychopath due to her not having many emotions and being so silent and calculated when she's by herself. The good thing though, is that it doesn't seem to contradict her judgment or really show up much. She does have fears and will sometimes act on them or over react to them. || History: born into the clan, Tigerfur's parents were both well respected warriors and she use to be so happy with them. On one fateful morning, however, she awoke to find them missing and slowly she distanced herself from everyone. Over time, she has gotten better at being less reclusive, but she still occasionally goes out looking for them.
Brackenclaw || rped by *ShatteringStar* || Moonclan || Warrior || A large muscular tom with a dark brown tabby pelt. His fur is average in length and very thick which makes his appearance even larger although you can still see his muscles ripple under the fur. His stripes are black and usual, covering his entire body except for his face and underbelly. He has fierce amber eyes that seem like pools of dark honey and an old scar on his left ear. || Brackenclaw has a very aggressive and persistent personality which propelled him through his apprenticeship long ago. On occasion, he can be good humored and enjoyable to be around. He is very loyal and will defend the clan to his death, but his ambition often temps his loyalty. He is not a cat that you want to be against. || He was born into the clan though his father is unknown.
Blazepaw || rped by *ShatteringStar* || Moonclan || Apprentice || He is an average sized tom with pale, sand-colored fur. For the most part, his fur is short and thick to were you can easily see his muscles under his coat. His eyes are an azure blue and a bit more round than most. || Blazepaw is known for being a mischievous troublemaker and is normally a very laid-back cat. He likes to have a ton of fun and often forgets the consequences which gets him into a lot of trouble. He can be serious and at times, very thoughtful. Over all, he is very enjoyable and courageous, encouraging others to just have fun as well.
Indigopaw || rped by *ShatteringStar* || Moonclan || Apprentice || A small and lithe black she-cat with fur as soft as a rabbit's. Her pelt is long and sleek which helps her swim and her beautiful eyes are an aquamarine color. Her face is a bit shorter than most and her paws are stubby, but she ignores that. || Similar to her appearance, Indigopaw is just flat out adorable! She has a very vivid and bubbly personality and she loves to have fun. In a way, she can manipulate others through her innocence, though she only does this when she has too. She does have the best intentions at heart and is a very comforting and loyal friend.

{ That's going to be so sad, but I'm all for tragic storylines! }
|| MoonClan || In Camp ||
Creampaw pricked her ears at the sound of her name, turning to face the source. She turned to see her young friend coming from behind her. The medicine cat apprentice glanced towards the Den before deciding to stay where she was. She looked at the other apprentice with a soft gaze, giving a gentle flick of her tail.
"Your smell is as accurate as ever," Creampaw nearly purred. "And no, I am free as a butterfly. Though I may need to search for some herbs later. Would you care to join me?"
The low rumble in the distant caused the fur on her neck to stand on end and the young cat glanced up towards the sky, beyond the trees. Her eyes scanned the horizon, but the sky seemed unalarming and she returned her gaze to Larkpaw.

|| MoonClan || The Forest ||
Maplesong was crouched low to the ground, the fur on her belly tickling against the cool soil. Her eyes were fixated ahead of her on a nimbling mouse. Slowly and carefully, she she-cat crept forward on her paws, trying to even out her weight. She made sure to side-step branches and fallen leaves in order to remain as quiet as possible. The mouse seemed unaware of her prescence and she continued to creep nearer. As the undergrowth surrounding her began to diminish, her movements slowed to a stopping point. She gave her tail a slow swish before pouncing, launching her lean body towards the creature. Her paws trapped the mouse beneath her and she quickly went in for the kill. She felt the body go limp beneath her before she grabbed in her jaws and lifted her head to find a place to bury the prey.
Above her, she heard the rumbling of thunder. She glanced up towards the sky, but could see nothing beyond the trees. Maybe I should head back to camp to see if I am needed elsewhere, if a storm is coming. She thought to herself. With that, the warrior began to make her way back to the camp.

Okay I'll change it. Also would Lionflame and Raptorwing be okay names for Sunclan warriors? I know Raptor is a bit of a stretch... Should I also change Blazepaw's name since there's already a Blazepaw in the rp?)

There are many raptor birds that could inhabit this land, and could not accurately describe a cat. However, that is just my two cents.
